Hemos visitado este restaurante ya dos veces en los últimos meses (tanto colegas como familiares). Todo sobre este lugar es bueno, la comida, el servicio, los precios, las decoraciones del lugar e incluso los clientes! Sin duda lo recomiendo si quieres tener comida sabrosa en The Hagu y al mismo tiempo algo diferente a los sándwiches de siempre!

Wij aten hier lunch … niets bijzonder “The Original” (aan de hete kant) en kebab. Correcte bediening en erg correcte prijs … ik denk alleen niet dat ik binnen een jaar nog weet waar en wanneer ik hier gegeten heb.

Very tasty, and for us, a surprising meal. Nice service. The spot near the door/window was quite cold that evening.

Super delicious food! This place was on my to-go list for some time and when the moment came it was very rewarding. The food is delicious and the portions are great to share. The staff was very attentive but eventually the restaurant got very busy and then we struggled a bit to order new drinks, but that was not a problem because we were focused on our delicious food. If you are like me and can’t make up your mind, go for the skewer mix 👏

Locale accogliente gestito da ragazzi molto simpatici. Abbiamo assaggiato sia il piatto tipico che dà il nome al locale, che il mix di maze che permette di assaggiare un po' tutti i piatti tipici (vegetariani) della cucina mediorientale. Tutto era veramente buono. Particolarmente vantaggioso il rapporto -prezzo.

Service was amazing! It was quite crowded but the waiters helped us set up a table we could sit in with the 4 of us! They were super helpfull even though it was a really busy saturday. Then the food, we had shakshuka original and the spicier one and it was the perfect amount of spice! Then we got some free tea from the sweet waiters! After all everything was amazing would highly recommend!

Top middle eastern restaurant I ever tried in the Netherlands. You should try falafel here. Also, service were nice and friendly.

Very good Middle Eastern food. A good selection of dishes, with friendly service. The location is excellent, with convenient access by public transportation, but also enough parking in the area. Prices are somewhat high for the type of food. But it is worth the visit.

Ik heb er 2 x s'avonds gegeten: heerlijk! En prima bediening! 1 x als cateraar voor groep van 17 thuis gehad: geweldig!! Alles was even lekker en het zag er heel goed uit.

Such an authentic Palestinian Food Experience, made with love, like in Bethlehem. Every time I'm in the Netherlands, i try to go there. They've kept the same perfect taste and Quality ingredients each time.

I recently went to Shakshuka Restaurant and was blown away! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Fattoush. Everything tasted so fresh, and you can tell the chef really knows what they’re doing. The chef was awesome, and the staff made the whole experience even better with their warm and friendly service. The vibe of the place was super cozy and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food!

I begin with pros: Food is amazing there, I had Shakshuka and a salad. Both are great, and I can't stop myself. That's why attached also a photo with empty plates! Good service, a waitress speaks only English, but here it's not a problem. Price for food is also good, not too expensive for the food you get. Cons: I'd say interior is too crowded, and a little bit dirty. It's only my opinion, for others it will be ok.

Unfortunately we were let down by the quality and taste of their chicken sandwich. The sandwich had way too much sauce. Their shakshuka was just okay. The eggs were overcooked and the tomatoes did not taste fresh. The lack of spices was disappointing too. Service is friendly, but slow.

Food was amazing! We did the per person sampler option so that we were able to try a little bit of most items. Appetizer, main dish, and dessert. Highly recommend!

My food was unfortunately cold when it arrived, not only that but I had to wait an hour for my food…. The rest of my table was served at the same time and my meal came last 5 minutes later. The atmosphere is cozy and everything was clean. The toilet, on the other hand, was not.

It was a non planned stop for lunch. We lived some years in middle eastern countries and have tried the culinary in different places. In Shakshuka you feel the flavors and details. It was delicious, we recommend and will come back!

I've been coming to Shakshuka since it opened a few years ago. The quality of the food is second to none. Everything is prepared fresh and with love every time. Actually everything, but especially the house menu, is great, and at a fair price because the portions are large. The service and atmosphere are also like you see in few other places: casual, warm, cozy. Truly the atmosphere of an authentic family restaurant. There is actually no other place in The Hague like Shakshuka: it is the place to be for everyone who loves Mediterranean/Levantine cuisine.

Venimos aquí a menudo, y sirven siempre la mejor comida con el mejor personal. Siempre amable y amable. Esta vez - ya conocen a nuestro perro - los chefs vieron que nuestro perro estaba compartiendo nuestra comida, ¡prepararon un kebab de pollo especial para él! Nunca hemos visto esto antes en ningún lugar - por lo tanto, no solo muchas gracias de nosotros, sino también de nuestro perro! ¡Hasta la próxima!

We come here often, and they serve always the best food with the best staff. Always friendly and kind. This time - they know our dog by now - the chefs saw that our dog was sharing our food, they prepared a special chicken kebab for him!! We have never seen this before at any places -therefore not just many thanks from us but also from our dog! See you next time!!

As a Middle Eastern, I am used to eat this food at home and it was delicious. We ordered a table full of mezzes. The portions were big. The staff is very nice and the decoration inside is very cute. It’s also great to eat outside on the little terrace they have. 100% recommend.

Shakshuka was actually their worst dish, overcooked eggs with watery tomatoes. The rest was ok. The falafel wrap was good.

Amazing food and service! This is probably one of the best Palestinian/Lebanese food I have ever had!

The location is quite nice, but right on the street where there are often a lot of scooters, cars or the like. The Shashuka was too tasteless and simply overpriced for 14.50 euros. I expected a lot more taste for this price. Salt and pepper helped a little, but unfortunately it is not recommended. 40eur for 2 shashukas and 1 large water is simply exorbitant given the portion size.

Food is tasty, but the service stinks.

I can't say enough about how amazing the food was! The flavors were incredible. The Fattoush was exactly how we do it back home in Lebanon, with its fresh and authentic flavors. It was so, so satisfying. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Middle Eastern food!!

We were forgotten by the staff, house menu - all skewers of meat (except chicken one) were over cooked - chewy and bitter, hummus was really dry (no specialist but other hummuses i would eat wouldnt be as dry)

Very busy and the music was too loud to hear each other well. Friendly staff, but little attention was paid to us. Plates were not removed and we were not asked if we wanted more drinks. The food was very good, tasty and seasoned. The ice tea was home made and tasted delicious, not too sweet.

Good place, the dishes were good with good value for money

The food was delicious. I definitely plan on coming back to this restaurant on another trip to Den Haag. We tried the dish of the day, which was a Palestinian braised chicken with carmelized onions on a crispy pita. Also, hummus, makdous, and shankleesh. Each dish was extremely delicious and we look forward to trying some of the other delicious looking items on the menu...don't know if you can really go wrong with anything you order here. The drinks were also creative and delicious. The only drawback was that they seemed to be a bit short-staffed, but the waitstaff was still extremely friendly, and they were looking to hire more staff. I can't wait for them to have the full help they need because this restaurant is a gem.

Great meals here in the cool of the evening. Managed to taste most of the menu and can't decide a favourite. Maybe the taboulé: fresh, juicy, full of flavour. This was so good that a big bowl was ordered on our second visit!

I always wondered why this restaurant is always full. From afternoon to late evening, there are always a lot of people. So I just had to try it once, and it was delicious. It took a while before we got our food, but it was delicious and definitely worth the wait.

HIGHLY recommend. yooo this is one of the best places I have been in a long time. we were extremely pleasantly surprised by all the food, because somehow in NL they cant do arab right. but this Palestinian joint has got it all! atmosphere, great service, lovely drinks and just impeccable food.

We had the vegan kebab. It was 23 euro for one and it came with two cherry tomatoes a small bowl of bulgar, and 3 skewers on a bed of parsley stalks. A bit disappointing

Delicious food. Ordered various mezze (Arabic dishes) and then various kababs. All equally tasty. Highly recommended. Sweet and helpful staff. They even brought children's cutlery for our baby. I'll definitely return. I would make a reservation because it is packed every weekend day

Shakshuka was very plain and boring, no interesting flavours or spices, just eggs in tomatoes. But the falafel was really great. Wouldn’t come here again.

A lovely little terrace on a narrow street facing the afternoon sun. My companion’s spicy shakshuka was delicious. My halloumi wrap was missing something, some spices perhaps. Nevertheless, I can recommend this restaurant and wouldn’t mind going back.

As a Turk, someone who has consumed these dishes in daily life and still makes them at home, I can say that it was amazing. Everything we ate was extremely delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Moreover, you absolutely must try the Qatayef. It was served to us fresh and warm, and we loved it. Additionally, I highly recommend trying the lime kazoz. The ambiance inside was very nice. The waiters were friendly and helpful. The tables are a bit small, but that's to be expected.

For us, this restaurant has the best Middle Eastern cuisine in The Hague that we've tried so far. We will be coming back more often. The meat was superb, and they have the best falafel and hummus.

Amazing food, so many delicious options for vegans /lactose intolerant people and such friendly and kind staff! Cannot wait to go back and try the rest of the food!

We came here for lunch and had a mixed experience. We ordered three different mezze and three main courses. All three of us didn't get the main course we had originally ordered. The service was quick, but not very friendly. One of the waitresses kept dropping things, so it was very noisy. The atmosphere is nice, but nothing too special. Overall, most disappointing was the food in comparison to the prices they ask. Some green beans in tomato sauce are 9€. For the vegan kebab they use Beyond Meat, and serve it with bulgur for 22€. Both dishes are simply made at home for a fraction of the price. The ambience and overall experience does not justify the prices.

Last night we visited this restaurant with oriental food with my family and were very satisfied. The new flavors we tried were consistently fantastic. It was a nice change to try something different and the food was really tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the stay very pleasant. What is particularly noteworthy is that the food was served quickly, despite the busy atmosphere in the restaurant. All in all, it was a successful evening with delicious food and good service. We would love to come back and can definitely recommend this restaurant. 5 stars from us.

We came from Amsterdam to try it but our experience was very bad 1. The restaurant opens at 5PM, we arrived at 4:55 and it was raining, the lady told us they’re not open yet so we waited outside! 2. We came back at 5:00, staff were chatting outside and nobody welcomed us 3. we wanted to order chicken sandwich and they told us sandwiches are only served in the morning. How come you serve “shakshuka: a morning dish at evenings” but sandwiches only served in the morning?

Best Shakshuka i have ever had! I took Arabiata spicy Shakshuka and my husband took the hummus with pita bread falafel platter 🧆😋 What ever we ordered was tasty. And for drinks, a big pot of tea 🫖 not to forget it was also the best.

The food was to die for. It is a Palestinian cuisine 🍉 and of course the meat is Halal for whom it might concern.

Perfect little sunny table, staff were friendly and kind and attentive. Food was spectacular.

I’ve been here a few months ago for an event and everything was good, so I decided to come back with some friends and it turned out to be a bad idea. I mean, the food was always good but the service was really slow and unprofessional and most of all… we asked for a jar of lemonade (that’s out of menu) and they charged us 32 euro for this. That’s simply insane and I don’t like dishonesty. Overall we spent 50 euro per person and we won’t go again for sure. You can have a better treatment in other places here in Den Haag.

A feast for the palate! In order not to have any hesitations, we took the house menu and there was nothing that wasn't top-notch. From appetizers to desserts. We would give six stars if it were possible. To this must also be added the kindness and courtesy of the staff (Lina) who welcomed and assisted us.

Soooo so good, definitely coming back next time I’m in den Haag!
