I recently ate here with my partner, and it was truly delicious! I had the "lady" tournedos and my husband the sirloin steak. It was truly fantastic, along with the sautéed mushrooms and herb butter! A huge compliment to this restaurant!

Nice place, great atmosphere. It took a while to take the order, but it was served quickly. The food was delicious. The spareribs were incredibly tender, and the stir-fried chicken was also very tasty. The atmosphere is also good, with nice decor.

If we had more stars available for the food, we could have given it even more stars in good conscience. We all enjoyed it. The only reason we deducted one star was because it was a bit too dark for some of us to eat.

Ordered coffee when after 5 minutes of waiting someone came outside where we were sitting. After 10 minutes still no coffee, so we left.

We've eaten here several times and it's been quite good so far, but what the chef did this time was subpar. Five of us ate here. My wife and her friend ordered the Wiedergutmacher Schnitzel. One portion of schnitzel looked good, the other portion was burnt. After we pointed this out to the service, the chef came personally and was very unfriendly, although you could see that the breading was burnt, he said the schnitzels were always fried the same way and that couldn't be right. Only after a long discussion was he ready to fry new ones. The champions that were part of the meal were then burned. Since we didn't feel like having further discussions, we accepted it as it was. We won't be going there again.

I went out to eat here a few times with my parents and the atmosphere was good, the food was tasty and you can joke with the waiters and it doesn't take long before you get your food.

Very nice place with a cozy atmosphere. Despite the crowds, we were still able to go a little later in the evening without a reservation. We all chose steak dishes and these were well prepared. We came back the next evening and I chose the spareribs and they were really delicious. The best I've eaten in a long time. The staff is very friendly and professional. Very nice at Sjans. This is the third time we have eaten here, first with friends and now with a girlfriend. The food is tasty, the portions are good and you can get the leftover meat in a container. Highly recommended!

We unexpectedly had a legendary evening here yesterday. The bartenders are way too friendly and we went crazy! There were few people in the shop so that's a decent score. What a ball pit. You participate in an event until 6:30 PM and start sending people away at 6:00 PM. Then stop participating in events and playing the popular guy if your hospitality is below basement level.

Everything is fantastic quality, everything is good, but they are just city center prices. If you don't do anything, it's all there.

My friends and I had dinner here, we very much enjoyed the food (especially the RIBS and FILLET MIGNON!!) must order!! This restaurant is a MUST-VISIT/HIGHLY RECOMMENDED when you come to Texel.

Today I ate here for the 2nd time during the holidays. On the chef's recommendation, the lightly smoked carpaccio and a piece of dry aged Australian wagyu steak, both finger-licking good. Price quality really great.

The choice of food was okay. Unfortunately the waitress spread the dip on her cell phone, pants and table. After I was allowed to clean everything myself, we were finally able to enjoy the food. The spareribs were good. The bones simply come off. The fries with nuggets were okay too. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't compensate us for the damage caused. There was also no question as to whether the pants needed to be cleaned. All in all, not a successful evening.

We had a delicious meal, the Dry aged Ribeye of 350 grams. Prepared exactly as we ordered. Really enjoyed this Ribeye. Highly recommended. When we are back on Texel we will definitely go out for dinner here.

Weekend away on Texel, we actually had another reservation for El Torro. After reading the terrible reviews we decided not to go. Asked passers-by what the best alternatives were and ended up with Sjans. Very nice place and very tasty food. Friendly staff, I can recommend this tent to everyone!

Quaint restaurant initially inconspicuous from the outside, but really cozy and rustic inside. The 400 gram steak came with fresh, delicious side dishes, grilled to perfection and served on a wooden board. Plus freshly tapped Amstel and the dinner was perfect👍👌 would be happy again!!

We zijn er 2 keer geweest. 1 keer voor even wat te drinken en beetje lekker erbij en was super. De pinacolada was super lekker, goed bier en lekker bittergarnituur. De tweede keer was het avond eten en ik vroeg even om de soep van de dag uit te leggen en kreeg meteen een beetje om te proeven dus dat was super. Als vooraf hadden we carpaccio, ossenhaas salade en de soep van de dag. Ze waren allemaal super goed. Hoofdgerecht hadden we tournedos, entrecote en de burger. Deze waren allemaal super en de vlees was perfect gebakken. De sfeer is ook super leuk. Ik raad het zeker aan.

Het vlees is heerlijk maar de bijgerechten zijn niet ons ding. Zullen ongetwijfeld ook heerlijk zijn.

Een erg charmant eetcafe in bruin cafe stijl. Wij werden warm verwelkomd door de in alle opzichten assertieve en vriendelijke bediening. Alle opgediende gerechten waren erg mooi gepresenteerd met verrassende details. De hoeveelheden uiterst gul voor de prijs. Entrcote en tournedos exact zo als afgesproken medium rare met knapperig gebakken friet, voldoende sausjes en een letterlijk en figuurlijk smaakvolle garnering van verse groenten, zowel rauw als gestoomd. En dat alles vrijwel tegelijk opgediend voor zes personen in een gezellig volle tent. Bij de 'Wiedergutmachungs(kalfs)schnitzel' zat er een iets opdringerige smaak van te oud frituurfet aan. Idem bij de gefrituurde camembert. De verzekering van de zeer vriendelijke bediening, dat het vet net is ververst, kon niet echt opbieden tegen de onze eigen smaakpapillen. Eerder een incident dan typerend voor deze uitermate bovengemiddelde keuken gezien alle eerder genoemde indrukken. De toetjes waren allemaal van zeer goede smaak en niet kinderachtig qua grootte. Prijs qualiteit verhouding dik in orde. Wij komen met plezier hier weer eens terug.

Onze ervaring is wat verschillend De spareribs waren erg smaakvol. De slibtongen helaas verbrand. De zeebaars was prima. De salades bij de hamburger waren te zout, hier was duidelijk iets mis gegaan. De porties zijn ruim bemeten. Het was druk en vooral erg rumoerig binnen. Het was echt te luidruchtig. We konden elkaar niet verstaan. Vriendelijke bediening en ondanks drukte geen overdreven lange wachttijden.
