The kids' meal felt like a rip-off – a huge disappointment. We were very dissatisfied. First, we had to wait an extremely long time for our food. When it finally arrived, the taste was, at best, mediocre. There was practically no mayonnaise on the fries. We then ordered some mayo, but again had to wait so long that we had finished our entire meal by then. We ended up canceling the mayo order because it simply never arrived. The kids' meal was particularly annoying. The price is outrageous in my opinion: it costs more than ordering fries and nuggets separately – and the portion in the kids' meal is significantly smaller. It just doesn't make any sense to me. On a positive note, I would like to mention that the price was reduced after our complaint. That's at least one positive point. Overall, however, we were left with a very negative impression. Long wait times, mediocre food, and what we consider questionable pricing mean that we unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant. What I also find completely baffling is how this restaurant manages to get so many good reviews on average. After our visit, I simply cannot understand. Our experience doesn't match them at all.

We spontaneously went to this place last week. The tables are dirty and unfortunately aren't wiped down. The cola was flat, without any carbonation. Cutlery isn't provided with all dishes. The service was friendly, but they served the cola with their fingers on the rim of the glass. The mayo tasted like fish, according to my husband, who then spent the entire evening in the bathroom. We're baffled by all the 5-star reviews here. The place is empty every night. Inside, it smelled of sweat. I immediately got a cold sore. If you sit on the bench, your head is practically on the table, making it impossible to eat. All in all, a "disaster and never again." Sorry.

Super delicious, good milkshake, the real milkshake, and super tasty hamburger, wonderfully fresh, super, highly recommended, super friendly people, always up for a chat.

We went to Susie's Diner for lunch with our toddler. There was lots to see in the diner, and the service was very friendly and child-friendly. The fish finger kids' meal was even served in a little boat. That made our little one's eyes light up! The burgers and fries were also delicious. We'll definitely be back.

We have actually been eating at Suzies for years whenever we are in De Koog, but this year we found the food really disappointing. My veggie burger wasn't as tasty as before, but I found it especially a shame that the fries aren't fresh like they used to be; that's really what we came for. The food wasn't bad in itself, mind you, and the service and atmosphere are fine, and the price is okay too, but still a pity.

So, price-performance ratio is totally reasonable! I paid €15 for a large burger, fries, and a drink, and I couldn't even finish the fries. The burger was incredibly delicious, and everything is in a typical American style, from the decor to the food. The owner is super friendly and, for example, advised us against ordering a large fries, which turned out to be a very good thing! The medium size is plenty if you order something else on the side. ;) Also, the Frikandel speziaal for €3.50 is perfectly fine! Absolutely recommended for a small price.

Very sweet people, the food is nice and cheap, and the restaurant is cute and decorated entirely in theme. The food, however, wasn't amazing; the fries sauce wasn't as tasty as usual at a snack bar (closer to regular mayo from home) and the fries were a bit bitter. But for the price you pay, it's not bad. If I'm ever on Texel again, I'm going to get a milkshake here...

I'm giving a 5-star rating for food, even though I haven't eaten. The reason is, I was on the island today. I ordered one coffee, and they apologized because it was freshly made and therefore took longer. Then I got a delicious refill. The owners were incredibly friendly. Service 12 out of 10, friendliness 20 out of 10. The coffee was excellent. I'll definitely be back from Brabant/Efteling soon just for the coffee and service.

Simple cuisine without any major surprises. Reasonably priced dishes, and the pul (beer) is a real bargain. Only the chairs take some getting used to.

Susie's Diner has been a must-visit for our Texel vacations for years. The service is warm and welcoming. The food is delicious and plentiful. The value for money is excellent. The ambiance is that of an American diner with many lovely decorative items. The furniture is a bit dated, but still very quaint. My personal recommendation: Susie's Burger

We spontaneously stopped by Susie's for dinner, and it was truly great value for money. Our dog was welcome too. We had a delicious vegetarian and a chicken burger, each with fries, and we were absolutely thrilled. We would have liked to try a milkshake, but unfortunately we were already full. We'll have to go back on our next Texel vacation :D

Something for everyone. Children wanted simple fries. Then this is better than the regular snack bar, as the menu has good burgers, hot dogs and more. Cozy terrace and pleasant spontaneous service. Large portions of food for a low price. The wine glasses are also very large and affordable. Recommended!

Susie's Diner is closed. There is a simple note on the window: the tent will open again sometime in the spring. Like many others, we also stood in front of the closed door. This is bad, very bad. During the holiday period and on social media and Google Maps, simply state that you are open, ... shame on you.

It was simply delicious. Before the visit, we first asked by phone whether we could bring our four-legged friend with us and we were very friendly in the affirmative. It's very comfortable to sit in the restaurant and you can also sit outside, which is where we sat. Our order was served relatively quickly, which we thought was great. The portions are generous and the burgers tasted great. A successful meal. Employees were very friendly. So until next time.

What a great place for a delicious meal! And what a pity that we only went in on our seventh (!) visit to Texel. We went there for dinner mainly because of the positive reviews. Previously we did not opt ​​for dinner because we thought it was mainly for takeaway and we never walked past it in the evening (then we would have seen that it was full). Susie's Diner is highly recommended. The food was really delicious, the portions were very large, the prices very favorable compared to the surrounding restaurants and the service was incredibly friendly. Even Susie came out of the kitchen for a chat, which really made the evening complete. So definitely just eat there. You won't regret it.

Had dinner there yesterday with my wife. I ordered a large plate of fries... Accidentally received a plate of fries war. This was peacefully converted into fries and peanut sauce. Being able to finish everything but honestly. The portions are really generous at a fair price. So great. Also super sweet and friendly help there. For me a reason to get some croquettes today, October 24. I will definitely return on my next visit to Texel, if only for the atmosphere. THANK YOU

Price/performance is definitely right here!!! Rather inconspicuous and a bit ragged from the outside, but inside with lots of small US decorative items. Milkshakes here are also big and really tasty.
