I walked into Sky Bar Restaurant Pi with a reservation at 13.00 and walked out wondering why this place even bothers pretending to be a restaurant at all. I asked the waiter if we were in the right place. He nodded, told us to wait a minute, and then evaporated for ten full minutes while we stood there like forgotten luggage. When he finally decided we were worthy of a chair, we sat down, looked at the menu, chose our food, and then he casually announced that the kitchen was closed. Closed. At lunchtime. Right after accepting a reservation. It felt like being invited to a party only to discover the house is abandoned and the host has moved to another city. To top it off, I ordered ginger beer. A simple request. A tiny island of hope. He brought ginger ale instead, as if the difference were imaginary. If I wanted a random drink lottery, I would have stayed home and grabbed something blindfolded from my fridge. The entire experience made zero sense. Why accept a reservation if you are not open for food. Why seat guests when you know the kitchen is asleep. Why bother asking what we want to drink if you are just going to freestyle the order anyway. Sky Bar Restaurant Pi is a place where logic goes on holiday. Service is slow, unclear and uninterested. Nothing matched what was advertised. Nothing matched what we asked for. It felt like performance art about disappointment. I would give it zero stars if I could. This place needs a complete reboot. Until then, I suggest everyone saves their time, their appetite and their patience for literally anywhere else. But on a positive note: the view is amazing

We were there for a high tea, but it was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had in my life. We couldn’t even finish the pastries, even in Albert Heijn you can find 50 times better pastries. Service was so slow and we had to remind multiple times. Although the view was great I don’t recommend this place.

The menu was excellent, with plenty of choices for everyone, and the food was delicious. The prices were reasonable, especially for this location with such a unique view. It's a place for romantic experiences. Surprising and definitely recommended.

I have been there with my girlfriends for a dinner. The place is nice and clean. There are round tables which is nice when you want to talk freely with your group. The music was good and not too loud allowing a nice conversation. It wasn’t crowded on Friday evening. The food and cocktails were average, really nothing special. Unfortunately the service, huh, they were nice and friendly but the waiting time for everything was painful. The place was not even half full and we waited 40min for starters. There was no attention given to us to see if we want to order anything throughout the whole time we were there. It is pity as even with average food you could try to make up with the service level.

We are visiting Amsterdam and wanted to have a great fine dining experience. We chose Skyrestaurent Pi in Fletcher Hotel, Amsterdam. The online booking was smooth and we had email confirmation. We paid 40 euros for the taxi but unfortunately, on arrival, the person who was at the bar refused to send us to the restaurant. He said that the restaurant is fully booked and the online booking process does not coordinate with the staff. We wanted to speak with the hotel manager and he introduced himself as the incharge. After I informed him that there will be a very unpleasant review about the restaurant, he telephoned someone and informed us that we could go upstairs to the restaurant. We expected to see a fully booked restaurant, there were only 3 tables that were occupied. The way we were treated was appalling, the person who served was not polite. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY AND AVOID THIS PLACE. I hope the owners/ responsible people will take action to rectify any online booking errors and educate the staff to offer polite, respectful and good customer service. Very disappointed

A nice Fletcher hotel built in the shape of a tube. Beautiful view and friendly staff. What's funny is that the shower was in the middle of the room and completely transparent. Definitely recommended for an overnight stay if, like us, you're going to the Ziggo Dome. This hotel has its own shuttle service to Ziggo. The only disappointment was that you have to pay for parking.

No way when it's hot outside. It was like a sauna on the top floor. We had a high tea on the 18th floor, the high tea was delicious, but while eating it, I almost passed out from the heat. At one point it was 34°c inside. Because there is simply no air conditioning, I think, anywhere in the building

After a long time I went to SKY Restaurant Pi (Fletcher) again and this time for a high tea with the family. What immediately stood out was the service, it was below average. The staff only spoke English (we live in the Netherlands, right?) and the way they served had little to do with service. One staff member was so unfriendly and unprofessional that you almost think the manager of this establishment has a plate in front of his/her head. Inside it was boiling hot because of the sun on the building. It was even so warm that we eventually left with the group. If I may mention a positive point then it was the food, we liked it very much. The drinks on the other hand were self-service... a bit strange isn't it?? Compared to our first visit this was a 180 degree turn and I will not be back.

The seven of us had planned to have lunch at the Fletcher Hotel in Amsterdam, located along the A2. Today we went there. Upon arrival we were helped by a young employee. Unfortunately, he made a particularly disinterested impression. He couldn't smile and he seemed to walk around with little enthusiasm. His hair was constantly hanging in his face, which meant he had to shake his head while taking our order - something he did hardly understandably. Not much later he brought the cutlery and napkins for all of us, but these were put in a pile in the middle of the table without any effort or distribution. In other words: sort it out yourself. That felt downright sloppy and not very hospitable. Fortunately, the food itself was good and we had a nice meal. There was nothing to complain about. But the service was very disappointing - for this we give a big fail. As far as we are concerned, the management should really pay more attention to this. Because this is not the level of hospitality you can expect from a hotel like Fletcher, nor the image you want to project as a brand.

The waiter brought us the starters for a different table. After bringing our starters, the tuna was dry, the beef had an old fridge flavor, and the seasoned soup was good (the only decent dish). For the second time, the waiter brought us the mains for a different table. After taking back the plates, he brought an unfinished dish, so the chef had to come out to ask if he could finish it because it only had rice and mushrooms, and the meat was missing. We had to wait a long time for our table to be cleaned after the mains, and the waiter didn’t ask if we wanted dessert. He never came to check how everything was. When we asked for the bill, he simply told us to pay at the entrance.

Lets start with the fact that we made a reservation for 8pm. We sat down at a dirty table, which wasnt cleaned up until 9:15pm. We were first approached after +- 45 minutes. The girl then said to give her 2 minutes because it was “so busy” (it wasnt). She did not come back at all. After another 15 minutes we were approached by the bartender which whom we ordered our drinks. We wanted to cocktails/mocktails, but then he stated they only had virgin mojito and wine/beer. The virgin mojito was ginger ale, mint, lime (it tasted like the ginger ale was very old). Then we wanted to order our diner, but were told the kitchen had closed. We would have been able to order if they had approached us sooner, because what do you mean after a full hour of waiting; it’s closed? At the end we were “allowed” to order snacks, which we got quickly but without cutlery. The woman that seemed like the manager, was constantly complaining about everything and wanting to quit, while in the presence of the guests. Not professional at all. The motivation was nowhere to be found. This was the first and last time for me and my friends.

We ate in your restaurant on 17/11. However, the food and service were unsatisfactory and even embarrassing. The service was quite disappointing, the staff was unfriendly, did not clear up the dirty glasses in between and we were not once asked if everything was to our liking. As for the food, the following dishes were unappetizing and not worth the money; the tagliatelle with prawns were tasteless and this mainly concerned a huge plate of pasta without many additions. The fries ordered seemed to be fried in weeks old oil. The sirloin steak was ordered medium and was specifically requested to serve only the meat, unfortunately this dish was served as always without the desired adjustments and the meat was full of sauce and other additions. When we passed on this request to the waiter, they made a joke about it, we felt we were not being taken seriously. I also ordered the sirloin steak medium, but it looked more like rare, and was also terribly tough. If you are asked to serve a dish without anything, this is of course not easy. 2 plates were also sent back half full, and the fries were also left half full. You never know if it's for an allergy or something like that... We certainly made this known when taking our plates. The management indicated that they would discuss what could be done with it. Then no one came back to us about this and we asked for the bill. When we received this, we asked ourselves what solution would be given to our dissatisfaction with the dishes. Without a single excuse we were told that nothing could be done and we had to pay the full amount. Besides the fact that the food was very unappetizing, we find it antisocial how the staff served us in your restaurant. No compensation has been offered

We went there for dinner only for checking out the view, which was very nice, where the blind was open (no sunshine, so no reason for the blind) Food was good, nothing special about it. Service was extremely slow and the place was not busy at all. When we set down, the table was only laid for one person, although the table was for 4 people. We didn't get extra cutleries and napkin until the food arrived. We had to use the QR code from the menu to see it in English. When we wanted to order, the dish we wanted it did not exist, and the waiter was not sure why we got this option. Also, the wordings were used on the original menu in Dutch, it did not translate to English and the waiter was not sure about the meaning of that dish. We had to wait ages to get our food (again the restaurant was not busy at all) and took forever to get the bill at the end. After all, we were not fancy to get dessert waiting so long again. Floor was also dirty and sticky. No child friendly food. Price at the end was extremely high and we didn't eat nothing fancy or expensive. Paid €111 for 3 people. We didn't find anything special about this place but only the view.

Recommended for a drink, but the food is far below par. You can expect more from a 4 star hotel with restaurant. So price quality is below par! A few years ago I had dinner on the 18th floor and it was very nice. Today we had lunch on the 17th floor in the Bar & Lounge. The service was very nice, but didn't know anything and had to ask everything. We received no feedback on some of them. So they looked like interns who had been left alone to fend for themselves. There are constantly hotel guests walking back and forth who don't eat or drink anything, so that was a bit strange since the bar is not very big. Half of the menu was not available because it was for dinner, so I don't understand why it is on the menu since dinner takes place upstairs. Not much choice in terms of vegetarian, so we ultimately opted for the fish & chips. One dish was brought and the other took an extra half hour to prepare. Our drinks came 10 minutes later after the food was served, so I'm not really happy with the service. The non-alcoholic cocktails were tasty and the view is very beautiful! But the food was not tasty. Fish was too oily and not good and seemed like flour with a little bit of fish and the fries tasted like they had been put in the deep fryer again. One plate had 2 sauces and the other 1, while we ordered exactly the same. So far below par!

Had dinner with my wife in the Sky restaurant on the 18th floor. Not at all what we expected. When you see the photos on the internet you expect an attractive restaurant, unfortunately it is really different. The view is the only thing that is beautiful. Service in their casual clothes with a jacket over it. Have no affinity with the catering industry or any training in that direction. Now I know it is difficult to get catering staff, but there was also no manager to manage the staff. I have over 40 years of catering experience, 20 of which have had my own business, my hands are itching because I think I can turn it into a TOP restaurant. The food is from the snack bar level around the corner. What a shame this is. I hope that Myrna Goossen (ambassador) from Fletcher reads this and appoints a good manager and invests some money in it to make it a great business because the possibilities and potential are certainly there.

Although no telephones were answered here or emails were responded to for reservations and inquiries, we unfortunately had dinner here with our family (2 young children). The food for adults was nice but menus were incomplete due to lack of ingredients in the kitchen... There was no children's menu for the children, despite the lure on the Fletcher website which specifically states "For the littlest gourmets we have a special children's menu in our restaurants with the most delicious dishes" (we even called and emailed, but these communication tools were not used here not used). The staff then asked us to order snacks for the children for dinner... The waitress was very friendly, but that couldn't take away the rest of the shame. A nice restaurant with reasonable food for adults, but avoid this place with children. Of course the feedback was shared with Fletcher, but they quickly dismissed it. The information on their website under "Fletcher Kids" appears to be and remains incomplete.

I have never had such a bad experience in a restaurant. We arrived at 7pm and were quickly shown to a table by the manager. He didn't even walk with us, but just pointed out where we could sit, which was fine in itself. We then had to wait another 15 minutes before I had to ask for the menu myself. We had dinner via Social Deal, which we had indicated from the start. After about 10-15 minutes we were asked what we wanted to drink. We immediately ordered our food, but afterwards the manager came to tell us that we had been given the wrong menu and that we had to choose something from another menu. After 15 minutes our order was taken again. We then waited 30 minutes for a simple tomato soup and another 30 minutes for the main course. During that time no one came to ask how we were doing or if we wanted anything to drink. We waited another 10-15 minutes for dessert, but unfortunately that never happened. By 9:00 PM we were done waiting and left. Everything was blamed on the crowds, but I think everyone in the restaurant was waiting for food or drinks. I wonder how many people normally come, because if this is considered busy, then they are not used to anything. Ps the food was nothing special, I had it on the table at home within 20 minutes. Chips from lays and prawn crackers from Conimex and atjar from a can and quickly put the fries in the frying pan. I could have done it faster at home than wasting those 2 hours of my life in the restaurant

I am currently eating at Fletcher via social deal, I strongly advise against this. Initially we were assigned a spot that did have a good view, but that's where it ends. After sitting for 15 minutes we were asked what we wanted to drink (also given the wrong menu), after which we ordered with the wrong menu which was indicated after another fifteen minutes of waiting. Now we have the correct menu and we have our order in mind, but we completely forgot this with how long it took for the order to be taken. Now it's been 45 minutes without food (not even a starter) and I'm wondering whether I should get a Bucket of chicken opposite the hotel/restaurant. I don't recommend coming here. P.s. it's now been 10 minutes without food and I still have time to adjust the review P.s.s the gas from my coke is already gone and we don't have any food yet 1 hour later and I received my soup

We stayed at the hotel with the partner and a couple of friends in the Fletcher hotel, it is logical that we therefore ate in the hotel restaurant which is located on the 18th floor and which has a superb panoramic view of the surroundings of Amsterdam. Let's be clear, the view is magnificent, the setting is too, but the problem is that the view overlooks the highway, the Burger King and the Kfc. The food was excellent but the price was in keeping with the hotel. I recommend the restaurant but prepare your wallet.

I took an evening Drink at the bar and had breakfast in the morning. The stuff in the morning was really friendly, but the service in the evening was lost and took ages for everything. Ordering a drink or paying took way to long. The breakfast in the morning had good quality and there was a big variety, the fruits we're really delicious. There is some renovation going, thats why the atmosphere is not the best at the Moment.

Steak tartaar was verrukkelijk en de cocktails lekker maar het hoofdgerecht met de gamba's ( niet veel smaak)en kalfssucade (groenten) viel tegen. De bediening was slecht. Er kwam niemand tussendoor vragen of we nog iets wilde drinken , werd bij beiden gangen geen eet smakelijk gewenst en vroegen niet bij afruimen of het gesmaakt had. Dus weinig communicatie wat je wel minstens van bediening mag verwachten.

Prima eten, MAAR je moet wel een avond de tijd hebben. Zeer inactieve bediening die totaal geen omkijk hebben naar de mensen. Reviews niet allemaal positief, maar wij hebben er zondag heerlijk gegeten! Top locatie, mooi uitzicht, maar verder niet heel sfeervol vonden wij. Vooraf zalm bokkepootje. Hoofdgerecht hadden we hoender/kip en kalfssukade. Allemaal erg lekker. Tafel mochten we zelf uitzoeken. T was niet zo druk. 1 jongeman in de bediening. Geen "doorgewinterde" ober, maar deed zijn best. Bv niet gewezen op de extra's buiten de kaart. Bv mosselen. (Zag ik op de site.)

I give a two stars rating to this restaurant not because of the food but because of the service. The service is really really slow! We went there with a business group of 9 people. It took like two hours until the food got ready. They did not bring the food for all group members at the same time. Some people already finished while the others did not have the food yet! We ordered some drinks in between, that one also took really really long time... In a nutshell the food is good but the service is not!

Vriendelijke bediening die niet echt weet wat ze doen of serveren, ik bestel zalm maar krijg risoto, had ie verkeerd opgeschreven………foutje 1. Ik was daar met mijn dochter, zij heeft haar eten al op voordat ik het mijne kreeg, foutje 2. Ons dessert werd op de verkeerde tafel gezet, foutje 3. Mijn zalm was zacht gezegd niet erg smakelijk, natte bende en erg weinig, zeker voor het geld. De pasta in mijn dochter haar gerecht was smakeloos, smaakte net als de rest, inclusief mijn gerecht eerlijk gezegd slecht. Het uitzicht, tja leuk maar dat heb je na een tijdje ook wel gezien. Kortom, eenmalige ervaring waarbij het enige pluspunt het gratis parkeren was. Oja, het was op een dinsdagavond, bijna niemand te bekenen maar personeel gaf aan het erg druk te hebben. Waarmee geen idee, zal wat zijn als het echt druk is.

Ik heb hier vanavond gegeten. Ik werd vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastheren. Mooie plek mogen uitkiezen, bij het raam, met prachtig uitzicht. Uitzicht over een KFC en een Burger King😅. Eten werd relatief snel opgediend, rond 17-20 minuten. Ik heb de Gambas menu en wat friet besteld. Gambas menu is 23.50 maar ik kreeg maar 4 of 5 miniscuul kleine gambatjes die ook niet voorgemarineerd waren. De gambas waren écht heel flauw van smaak. De onderliggende tagliatelle was ok, niks speciaals. Ik kan daarom het gambas menu niet aanraden. De frietjes waren wel lekker klaagemaakt.

We komen hier jaarlijks met moederdag omdat het nou eenmaal traditie is en de kinderen het leuk vinden. En tot corona sprak ik hier regelmatig af voor (zakelijke meeting/lunch. Uitzicht is ook zeker de moeite waard. Maar sinds (door) corona kibbelend personeel, te weinig personeel, niet ingewerkt, lange wachttijden, fouten in de bestellingen, reserveringen bevestigd, komen niet door en het eten is zo-zo. Kwaliteit niet slecht, maar zeker niet bijzonder. Voor die prijs en in die ambiance zou je zeker meer mogen verwachten. Jammer!

They were very nice to me and my colleagues, but not to people of color. Not okay. I was addressed as "you" and "sir," but the Black woman next to me, who also seemed a bit older, was addressed as "you" and in a rather unpleasant tone. Pretty strange.
