The pita I got was very good. The staff was very kind and helpful. She smiles and makes sure I get what I want for my food. Music was also relaxing, good taste. I would’ve tipped if I was employed and had money to spare. Would come back!

I always loved coming here for salads, but since a new guy started working here (I think he's the new manager), things have really gone downhill. He's not customer-friendly and makes smaller portions. Such a shame...

My order was completely different from what I ordered! A whole load of soybeans was added without even asking if it was on the menu! Beware, they can add whatever they want because they're hiding behind a rule that it may contain traces. The whole load of soybeans is completely gone!! I filed a complaint through Thuiszorg, and the response was: "I checked our platform, and the allergen warning states: 'Contains soybeans and derivatives.'" She said she would consult with the manager, but she assumed she considered checking this information the customer's responsibility! The photo clearly shows that these are no longer traces, hahaha.

If you order from them, they ask 6,5 Eur for their “small” soup. They put it in an espresso cup and with half a lime in it. You eat effectively 4 spoons of soup. Ridiculous

Unfortunately, my 4-year-old daughter lost her doll on the evening of July 16, 2025. She's pictured here. Whoever finds the doll and can give it to me will receive 10 euros. She's been suffering terribly ever since and misses her doll :(

We had a disappointing experience. The staff didn’t greet us upon arrival, and we had to wait about ten minutes before we could place our order while there were no other customers. Many items on the menu and drinks were sold out, but no one informed us in advance. When we asked to make substitutions, we were simply told that those options were unavailable as well. The salad was overdressed, with far too much dressing. Later, we also saw staff members smoking right outside the entrance, which left a poor impression.

Healthy and tasty food at a fair price. The staff was kind and helpful despite a slight language barrier. The restaurant itself is cozy with plenty of seating and a clean unisex bathroom. Only criticism I have is that the vegan dishes weren't labeled clearly and you have to ask the staff about them.

Huge portion and food was really tasty. The service was borderline polite (no one really expects queen treatment, but serving people attitude with meals made me laugh 😂) That didn’t bother me as much as the matcha you guys serve. Please look at least a single video tutorial online, I dare you. Because the color and quality matcha you are using (and charging an arm for it) is really good. But your servers have no ideas that it cannot be made with boiling water, it has to reach 75-80 degrees max!!!!!! The cup was so hot I burned myself and it instantly made me realize I dumped almost 6 euros down the drain. Please fix this and more people will come to your restaurants because you serve good matcha together with those nice meals ☺️

Visited a couple of branches of this small Amsterdam chain. The food is hearty and well priced, easy to get gluten free options and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We also used their take away service which was equally great.

Ok food is organic but there is no need to have flies inside the place, having dirty tables, dirty floors... And bad smell. This place is understaffed. Hiring extra workers is required.

Being a gym enthusiast, I have to say that SLA is The Best option for a healthy meal. I love their variety of options, the freshness of the ingredients and the portion sizes. Super convenient locations and really nice staff that are always helpful

Last night in Amsterdam craving some fresh food and was not disappointed, food was sensational, and the blonde girl who was by herself for quite a period of time did amazing

We didn't want to eat anything, just something to drink. There is a not short list of coffees on the menu: “Unfortunately we don’t have any coffee”. “Okay, then one of the smoothies” “We don’t have any smoothies” We then each took a soda because there was apparently nothing else. In the can. No glass with it. Overall, the store unfortunately seems untidy and not very clean. Dirty dishes are piled up on the dish rack, even though the staff is twiddling their thumbs because no one is in the store. It's a shame because it looked nice from the outside. Maybe the food is good.

Vegan food sucks in general and this is no exception + overpriced

Bad. It was nice a few years ago, but the last few times it has always been a disappointment. This time I ordered another Killer hair salon, several ingredients were missing; e.g. sweet potato and pickled onion. Partly because of this, it was quite tasteless, especially the lentils, romaine lettuce and broccoli (which I ordered extra). In any case, this was my last time ordering from SLA.

It could have a better overall score if I have not see the poorly washed cutlery

Recently got something at SLA for the first time, a really tasty wrap with vegetarian shawarma (they have a lot of vegetarian options anyway), it is mainly takeaway so it is ready quickly :)

Personnel is taking it very slow while chatting with customers, while there are others in line. When mentioning that I’m in rush and asking politely to help me, the girl rolled her eyes countless of times and had an incredible rude attitude. I’m sorry that you couldn’t chat, do I have to be sorry for wanting to leave money at a place specialised on lunch? This is not normal!

Tasty and healthy food and nice variety in the menu. I think vegetarian, vegan and non vegetarian people can find something nice here. And friendly staff!

I visited SLA on my last night in Amsterdam and had a great experience. I was craving a healthier dinner option with lots of vegetables and the Hot Mexicana Bowl did not disappoint! The food was fresh, delicious, and made very quickly.

I truly enjoy the salads at SLA! The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh and packed with flavor. But sometimes, my order is missing ingredients, and I only notice when I'm already home. It's frustrating because I don't get the taste I was looking forward to. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, but they could really benefit from using a checklist to ensure every order is prepared with all the necessary ingredients. If this continues, I may have to reconsider ordering takeaways from SLA.

Every year we are in Amsterdam, we go to SLA. always, nice staff and excellent food. Our dog is also welcome, which is very positive.

Salad bar with option for either wrap, salad, or less leafys and more grains instead. Filling, but definitely not tasty/cheap enough to motivate a visit compared to a real restaurant.

Got a salad bowl (which is big!) and a warm dish for lunch, and they tasted incredible. Their smoothies and juices were also very tasty. The staff were friendly and the little room in the back where you can sit in a cosy atmosphere is a really nice addition as well!

I do not recommend this place. It is dirty and the food is cold and rather not tasty. The food is expensive for what they serve. The mushrooms are grown in the roof! 🤨

Voor mij als vleeseter een van de smakelijkste manieren om nog wat karmapuntjes te scoren. Niet goedkoop, maar de porties zijn groot. Het bereiden neemt wel even tijd, dus als je afhaalt moet je geen haast hebben.

Luscious salads, you will get your money's worth for the meal here. One of the best salad chains I've tried. Not your standard "build a salad bowl" - these ones are wholesome and the flavours are genuinely satisfying.

Nachhaltig essen, vegan und einfach Mal anders. Haben uns für zwei unterschiedliche Wraps entschieden (Hot Mexicana und ???). Beide waren okay, aber auch nicht der Bringer. Die zwei Mädls im Laden sind schnell und auf Zack, aber wirkten nicht so freundlich und gut gelaunt, wie die meisten anderen Amsterdamer. Würden nicht nochmal hingehen.

Bij SLA kun je heerlijke salades en/of bowls eten. Bestellen of daar eten. Achterin is ook allerlei plaats om leuk te zitten. Lijkt een soort serre. Er zijn ook warme gerechten en soep. Vegetarische en veganistische opties. Ik haal hier regelmatig iets. Het is gezond en vers en erg lekker! Echter vandaag, haalde mij vrouw iets voor me op en de bowl werd in een tasje geschoven, waardoor de inhoud helemaal naar een kant is geschoven. Handiger om dit soort bowls gewoon recht in een tas te plaatsen! 😁

Came here to get a nice, textured salad and really the only thing I can remember is how cold it was. Not even room temperature, just cold: cold falafel, lacking in flavor, and a crumbly texture that broke apart at the slightest touch - I had ordered the middle feast bowl. The two stars are for the skylight at the back as the food is entirely unremarkable.
