Smullers in Burgwallen-Nieuwe Zijde

My cheeseburger was ready in < 1 minute. No high expectations... but it was surprisingly tasty! As were my fries with a very generous amount of mayo. Thanks, staff!!

Others were helped sooner, while I just had to wait. The answer was: well, my colleague helped.

Friendly staff. Sometimes, however, they just don't realize that there are still guests waiting to be served.

One star is still too much… over €5 for fries with mayo. It was just cold. Went back and was told it couldn't possibly be cold because it was fresh out of the fryer; well, it really was cold and limp. Did get a new one. This time it was warm (the container felt warm too), but still limp fries without salt. A real waste of money to go here.

Tonight I wanted to get a double chicken cheeseburger at De Smullers. If you look at the machine, it looks just like that burger can only be found in this row. The text above it has been completely erased (see photo). Yet, it turns out there is also a regular double cheeseburger inside. I grabbed that one by accident, knowing I had picked up a double chicken cheeseburger. When I took a bite, I saw that it wasn't chicken. When I went back to explain that this mistake was caused by the erased sign, the man behind the counter refused to help me. In fact, he only half-listened. He said he couldn't help me. He didn't really care at all. Even when I pulled out this photo, he still wouldn't help. It's only 7 euros, but humanity is nowhere to be found at De Smullers…

I asked for the name of the two servers cuz they were so nice to me. Please thank, Lucas and Hans. The bread served with the krocket was really cheap chewy white bread. That's the reason for the three stars on the food. Atmosphere is kind of hard to judge when I'm in the middle of a train station

First time trying Smullers! I ordered fries, a burger, and sausage. The food was good, and the service was great too. The cashier was very helpful and even helped me which train to take.

Super sweet colleagues, I had a lot of questions because this location is new to me, but Ken helped me out, was super patient with me, and was super customer-friendly. Highly recommended!

Nice staff! I was served quickly and the food was nice and hot. Will come back more often when I'm at Central for a quick snack.

They can't handle the crowds, so they keep cold buns in the wall. Then you have to wait 10 minutes for a new hamburger, and after insisting for a long time, you get a 'new' one from the wall that was cold again. Just say you don't have any buns if you can't handle the crowds.

Uninterested and rude staff. The food you get is cold. Staff are yelling at each other and have absolutely no regard for the customer.

Better than the competition. I recommend Bami.

SMULLERS guys are seriously insane

The burger I pulled from the vending machine was different from what was advertised. The employee couldn't exchange it for reasons unclear. Very unfriendly and the food was terrible.

Inedible! I ordered fries with peanut sauce, but I got more sauce than fries even though I asked for the sauce separately; it was just served on the side. Nobody speaks Dutch! Really awful!

They don't even know what goes on their fries, and when you explain, you get a completely messed-up portion, floating in sauce and covered in onions, served by staff who barely speak or understand Dutch. Sad.

Unfortunately, I had to wait at the counter for a while and had already made eye contact, but the 'acquaintance' who pushed in front was simply helped first, I'll get my snacks elsewhere

Waiting for Eurostar train and wanted a hot snack in the cold. Fries were fried on order. So a short wait. So crispy and fragrant.

I asked for fries with double mayonnaise, got truffle mayonnaise. While I had said it twice because he didn't understand me. While he walked to the other side I was looking at what is that, I didn't order that. Then I said that and he said that you ordered it. I immediately said no that's not right. I've never had the word truffle in my mouth, I don't even like it. He said that I heard it and I said that's not right. Then I got a new one, and had to pay for the extra mayonnaise. While he wanted to put mayonnaise on it he asked again, so you want double mayonnaise, I said yes again. Then he says, I have good ears. Finally I got my fries with mayonnaise. This is really not right, friendliness is hard to find. The fries had clearly already been fried once. So mediocre

Great service but I threw away half of the fries because they were completely drowned, yuck

Burger pulled from the wall. It was different from what was listed above. Can't be exchanged. Fucking scammers, €4.50 wasted.

The burger is really terrible. The fries are okay.

Smuller is nice, but Smullers is almost always closed.
