Very good I recommend it, the food is very tasty, service is super good, nice atmosphere, not expensive prices I think it is the best snack bar there is

Fast service and good food. And free parking.

It's gone wrong so often. With the pickup. And they even encourage someone in charge to stand there, but young guys, that's not acceptable. And this is for the owner, you have to do something about delivery and pickup. But I can't live without it anymore.

Quality varies. If you have older staff, they're excellent, and the food is excellent. If you have younger staff, the quality can be very poor, from overcooked snacks to ice-cold snacks. Service can also vary enormously, with the longer-serving staff providing excellent service. For example, someone might be handing me the ATM (I use a mobility scooter) while the younger staff members walk away, leaving me to figure it out myself because chatting with a colleague is more important. Or, for example, an older employee might bring my order to me while the younger staff members place it on a glass plate I can't reach, requiring other customers to help.

Excellent quality and good service

This place is one of the best snackbars in Alkmaar. They make the best Chicken tower burgers and honing monsterd wraps. Don't forget to order the Rum milkshake!

Just got 2 fries and 2 croquettes, when you get home they only gave you 1 croquette, but I paid for 2, it wasn't busy so that can't be the problem

GREERYGGG. 3 drops of satay sauce for a whole bear bite. I'll say it CLEARLY, I don't want burnt onions. What do I get…burnt onion. Always the same song. 1 word. Worthless! Half a bear bite into the trash. It would be better to go to the Kroky snack bar in town. There you get enough sauce and no burnt mess!! Never again here for me!

Very satisfied. Service always nice and everything neat. Warm and tastes great, highly recommended, the bear bite, with satay sauce. And the delicious bami disc or nasi disc has a delicious taste.

We always come here because of their gluten-free options. They do this very neatly and always write it on the bag. Their mayo/french fries sauce is also gluten-free.

A real winner works here! It's stupid that I don't know his name, but he's a black boy. He often works alone on Sundays to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible, while his colleagues are making ice cream cones at a snail's pace. Delicious hot sandwiches, chicken gyros, hot chicken and various others.

Snack bar de Mare is perhaps the best snack bar in Alkmaar! Not only is the food delicious, but there is also a wide choice of many different snacks and meals. With the schnitzel menu that I ordered (see photo) you get a full plate with lots of fries, lettuce and the schnitzel + sauce. This always costs around €10. There is also a wide choice of milkshakes and you can also mix the flavors. The service is excellent. The employees always work with a smile, say hello in a friendly manner and work quickly. you never have to wait more than 10 minutes, even when it's very busy. The snack bar is very cozy on the inside. Enough seating for around 20-25 people and a relaxing interior. Every time I visit this snack bar it is a good experience. Definitely recommended for anyone visiting the Mare!

The snacks were passable. However, I don't think you can give this to a customer like that. Everything was covered in grease. Not even a container around it.

It's just a pity that there are often unsuitable staff behind the cash register, which means that amounts/orders are incorrect or things go wrong during checkout. Staff do their best, but probably lack some training and overview to prevent these kinds of things. Furthermore, the staff is always friendly and working hard to process all orders quickly.
