Staff is incredibly rude. I would not visit this place. The food is horrible and unhygienic. It's a tourist trap. This place only accepts cash and has their own atm machine. If you know, you know...

I give five stars because I find it incredibly impressive that you can keep a snack bar running that is so bad. I used to go there occasionally for a hot meat sandwich. Tasty! In July 2026, I was there again. A goulash croquette and a bami disc. Both cracked black and filled with old grease. Served without batting an eyelid. Kudos!

Worst burger I’ve ever had. The meat tasted strange and I honestly couldn’t tell if it was even properly cooked. Asked for tomato but got none, despite being the only customer. I also asked to sit outside at 10pm but was told it was closed (even though the place is open until 01:30am). Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend!

Food and staff are both awsome. This space has saved me on days when I've ended work late and needed food❤️ and I love their food. Well oriced, well made, well well well🔥

Honestly, I have ever eaten the dirtiest, dirtiest kapsalon. I am giving it 2 stars for a second chance, but I am a real kapsalon lover and have never eaten such a filthy one. There are no vegetables on it or anything else. The atmosphere was fine, and the location is top-notch. But as advice to your snack bar, please improve the kapsalon. Put some vegetables on it, some sauce, and fresh meat, please, and then I might give you a decent chance.

The kebab was steaming hot and well tasting after bingeing beer! BURP!

The Turkish pizza wasn't bad, but the cheese soufflé wasn't fully cooked. The chicken lettuce burger and the "patatje oorlog" (fries with mayonnaise and onions) with watery satay sauce were downsides. Otherwise, the service was nice and it was a cozy little place.

The Bamischijf is delicious! Honestly the best I‘ve ever had. I can also recommend the Kip Korn. Fries are fine. The atmosphere isn’t the coziest, but perfect for takeout or on the go.

I was just here. I'm really sick and really wanted some fries. I ordered my fries and a drink and told them I'd sit outside. I assumed that, like in other snack bars, I might be called since I was sitting near the door. After ten minutes, I walked in, and the man saw me but didn't say anything, so I thought, "Okay, my fries aren't ready yet." After 20 minutes, I came back in and asked if my fries were ready. And yes, the man said, they've been ready for a while. Cold fries aren't good, so I asked and said, "Can I have new ones?" He politely indicated that I might be called, or that when I came in, the man would tell me, "Your fries?" The man freaked out and yelled that it wasn't a restaurant. He sneered that it wasn't a restaurant and that I should pay attention, and who knows what else. It caused an unnecessary argument. Then, irritated, he wanted to make new fries, to which I replied, "Sir, can I please have my money back? This isn't working. I don't want fries from someone who's literally yelling at me and trying to ridicule me." It's truly outrageous. I work in hospitality myself, and this is not how you treat customers. I told the guy to lock his money away, and I'm never coming back!

Reading the reviews it didn’t seem so great, but my family was pleasantly surprised at the tasty food .. fried chicken, bitterballen and double cheeseburger were good! Fries not the greatest but the hungry kids liked them .. the man behind the counter was exceptionally nice and explained a bit about Dutch food.. overall, a great value and will return .. very inexpensive ..

Okay snackbar, people are complaining about the peanut sauce and although I understand it is different from regular sauce I did quite like it. The chicken Sate itself was not so good though, and the drinks very expensive.

Peanut sauce was definitely out of date and very sour. However, the owner himself denied everything and said that he had made the sauce sour himself.

I did order fries war here. However, this road was sour and not tasty. Shame. There was also no service to speak of

Satay sauce was clearly out of date, after reporting this to the employee he stated that the sour sauce was because he prepared it in a special way. Sauce simply came from an A-brand jar, and the gentleman did not want to explain what exactly he had put in this jar. After asking for a bowl of mayonnaise, he refused the request and continued to ignore us. Mediocre tent, absolutely recommended.

Fries were fine, satay sauce was very sour and the gentleman did not want to give another sauce without paying 1.20 for a little mayo.

Me and my friends wanted to get an ice cream, but we found out we didn't have enough money. That guy was a little angry which is understandable, but he was so angry that he started throwing that ice cream at us. Zoeizo, the snack bar is really dirty and the man was very unfriendly from the first moment. Not good service, because all the ice cream was gone, except for the most expensive one. I would say don't go there.

Very upsetting. They didn’t have tomatos at all on the place and the place in general is dirty. I get is cheap but honestly for the same price there are many very other good options. I know I chose to come here but if this helps of anything for you. The place is bad. Food was ok, Durum Doner I ordered and it was tasty just salty.

Decent frikadel speciaal. Exactly what you want when you just downed a beer. The guy could've been nicer, but who cares when you are drunk, right? Spotted some celebrities so atmosphere was great. 4/5. P.s. food prices, was surprised I wasn't robbed of my money!!

Hooked me up with gluten free food, even though it's definitely not their wheelhouse: almost everything on the menu is breaded and fried. I'm grateful, it's tasty, and I don't have to figure out reservations in advance. Five stars all day long.

Super unfriendly man behind the counter. I wasn't allowed to eat my food inside because it suddenly wanted to close. I was also not allowed to go to the toilet, because the toilet was clogged. In addition, the food is simply not tasty

This snack bar charges 4.70 euros for a bowl of dry frozen fries. It would be better if they charge 10 euros for tasty fresh fries because what they serve now makes no sense. Not to eat. I still have 1 star left for the satay sauce, the rest is the wasted (fries) money.Literally.

Just got some chicken fries. 5.25. Then you get fries and a large piece of chicken. They didn't deliver that. They are two small drinks. They used to do it well. They don't give you what you order. The portion of fries was very small. Everything is becoming more expensive due to inflation, but this takes the cake.

Erg wisselvallig, ligt er maar net aan wie er werkt. Jongen met baard is prima, bakt de patat prima, kale meneer daar zou ik niet bestellen. Doorbakken friet heeft hij nog nooit van gehoord. Op 50 meter zit Oma's Friet in de Haarlemmerstraat --> Beste patat van Amsterdam

Not sure when this place changed from De Snackbar to Snacks Coffee Drinks but seeing the old reviews, it's a good change. I've been in Amsterdam a few months now, and this place had BAR NONE the best fried chicken I've had in the Netherlands. It was actually quite busy this Saturday evening (every seat taken) but the chicken and frites came out surprisingly quickly. It was the crispiest fried chicken I've had here and quite tasty. Will absolutely be returning for more.

The food was ok and expensive for the quality in my opinion. Staff were decent enough. They had a very large menu for a snack bar.
