I’m Indonesian and soo impressed by this chicken satay! Fyi, I live in Dublin Ireland and I just ate the chicken satay now (after more than 24 hours including journey on the plane) and surprisingly the chicken stay is still sooo freshhhh and it tastes like the real Indonesian chicken satay. And the price is SUPER AFFORDABLE compared to other Indonesian restaurants.

This place is definitely worth going to. The two ladies working there were very nice and welcoming. The food was simply amazing. Both the food quality and the service quality show that the workers really care for their customers. I would come here again 100%!

I keep coming here to eat soto ayam. It is one of my comfort foods and they serve it like I am in my homeland. My son loves nasi goreng here. He eats it mostly in combination with ayam asam manis and telor balado. The staffs are friendly and, besides Dutch, they also speak Bahasa and English. Their price is reasonable and the ambiance reminds me of home. Come here to try their nasi rames too and pastel 👍

The seller is very friendly, the store is s easy to find, the food tastes exactly originally made in Indonesia. My favorite is Soto, as someone who lives abroad i just wish such restaurant like Solo Asli existed too not far from where i live in Germany. I will definitely be coming there to have my ‘Indonesian experience’ when i visit Amsterdam again.

I've been getting food here for years and I used to be very satisfied. But I think the owner has changed. I went to get dinner tonight and when I got home I saw that there was not enough food. Little bit of noodles. Very little vegetables and meat. And also so dry and not really tasty and that for 10.50. That container should be full. I've had this happen to them the last few days when I'm getting food. I find this very unfair. I was still hungry afterward. I will never get food here again.

Ze helpen je netjes en goed en het eten is heerlijk. Rengdang met pittige boontjes en rijst. Heeeeerlijk.

Helaas ook solo asli is teveel aangepast aan de Nederlandse smaak. Alles flauw. Begrijp niet waarom ze nog steeds kipfilet gebruiken ipv dij...... Droog en smakeloos. Rendang idem dito 40jaar geleden waren ze goed. Nu ik weer in Amsterdam woon dacht ik misschien zijn ze nog steeds goed. Zal inmiddels nieuwe eigenaar hebben want ik vind het niet lekker helaas. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Het eten is eigenlijk echt lekker maar de loempia was vandaag niet echt warm van binnen. Ik krijg ook nooit saus van die man en hij is echt ontzettend chagrijnig en onvriendelijk. Hij smeet de loempia op de toonbank en hij is eigenlijk nooit vriendelijk tegen me. Die vrouw is wel super leuk! Ik ben nu wel. Op het punt gekomen dat ondanks het lekker is ik die man echt zat ben. Ik accepteer die houding niet meer en ga ook niet meer. Dan maar een andere Indo die misschien iets minder lekker is maar wel grotere porties geeft en super vriendelijk is!

Don’t go by the simplistic look of this place. The restaurant has a lot of offer. First the format, toko style takeout. The best part you can get dishes by weights. We got 4 dishes 100 grams each, 2 chicken satey and spring rolls and it was too much food for 2 people. I forgot the rice so made some at home so no biggie. The taste is on the spot. Probably the best Indonesian food I have had in Amsterdam. The place needs the recognition it deserves :). Must try randang and satey chicken !

Mensen die hier een slechte reactie plaatsten zijn geen kenners van de indische keuken. Aan het eten van Asli kunnen veel toko's wat van leren. Goede eerlijke prijs ook. Tot de volgende x weer.

2020 Overheerlijk Indonesisch eten. Zeker een aanrader. 2021-07-25 Weer gegeten. In het verleden haalde ik hier heel vaak af. Het eten is waanzinnig lekker. De enkele negatieve reacties begrijp ik totaal niet. Het is een eenvoudig lokaal met subliem, overheerlijk Indonesisch eten. Super goedkoop, maar super lekker en met verse ingrediënten.

Ik kwam binnen als enige klant en werd eerst een tijdje genegeerd. Maar eens even rond kijken dan. Het is een beetje een zooitje eigenlijk. Plafond ligt open, rommel achter in de zaak, beetje viezig hier en daar. Eenmaal aan de beurt ontzettend chagrijnig geholpen. Hij was me liever kwijt dan rijk. Smaak van het eten was wel aardig maar ook weer niet erg goed te noemen. Jammer, vooral de ontvangst zorgt ervoor dat ik voortaan elders ga.

Getver! Wat een aantal super-lelijke reacties/reviews lees ik hier van sommige mensen. Voor mij tot dusver de toko met lekkerste afhaal-eten in Amsterdam en als je wat vaker komt en een praatje probeert te maken zijn de mensen hartstikke vriendelijk. Er ontbreekt ook nooit wat, altijd alles op voorraad en dat is lang niet in elke toko zo. Ik snap niet hoe mensen op basis van één bezoek zo'n reactie kunnen plaatsen en dat überhaupt ook nodig vinden ipv even te bellen of langs te gaan om klacht bekend te maken. Solo Asli, jullie zijn toppers!!! Ik blijf graag terugkomen.
