I asked if they accepted card payment, and they said debit card only. When I tried to use my debit cards (tried 2 different ones), both still failed to go through. I suggest you come with cash if you really want to eat it.

A really good Asian restaurant! The rijsttafel (rice table) is truly amazing. Lots of variety and very tasty. Definitely recommended. The staff is also friendly and humorous.

Great service and staff had good recommendations

It was my first time trying Indonesian food and it was so delicious! We had rice, noodles, sweet and sour chicken, sweet soy beef and green beans. It was all very tasty. The lady working there took the time to explain every dish to us and was incredibly sweet. Highly recommend !!!

Toko Ikan Mas is run by very nice people, who make traditional dishes but also experiment with dishes that are not available at every store. There is also a lot to choose from for vegans and it is all super tasty!

Visited the place when I was in Amsterdam, noticed many locals and tourists alike coming in to order food. Great portions and quality at a great price!

The couple who own this place are incredibly friendly, making the visit even more enjoyable. They were very generous with the portions and even let us try all the meats before deciding what we wanted. As an Indonesian, I would love to visit again on my next trip to Amsterdam! ☺️

Scam, the worst restaurant in Amsterdam

Absolutely incredible Indonesian food. One of those hidden gems that blows away the fancier restaurants. We actually canceled a reservation at a sit-down Indonesian restaurant to go back here for another meal it was that good. The owners were so kind and generous as well, practically forcing us to try every meat they had on offer before we ordered! Only 2 chairs outside for eating in so definitely geared towards takeout, but you could easily take it to go to a local park for a memorable meal.

Absolute best meal I had in Amsterdam. Got a heaping portion of authentic Indonesian fare for a take away picnic at a great price (~12 euros enough for 2 meals). Definitely recommend. The food is clearly made with love ❤️. Bring cash, they only accept Mastercard.

I am Indonesian. If am local, I would be a regular. Nasi Rames is a must try (I think it comes with white / yellow rice or noodles, 3 types of veg, and 1 or 2 meat dishes) Also, Service and friendliness is 6 star. The owner even helped me sort out my hotel emergency.

In Amsterdam for a long weekend and found this gem. I love this place. And it looked like the locals do too...was a constant stream of customers while we were there. The food is delicious, the portion sizes are good and it's good value for money. The staff were lovely and very accommodating - we had a buggy and a 4 month old baby. Would definitely come back. If I lived here I'd be a regular.

My favourite stall to go to when i am in Amsterdam. Food is very nice and spicy. They will heat up the food for takeaway.. I really enjoyed the spicy chicken. Price is reasonable and are generous with the amount of rice and veg.. The staff are really friendly too.

What it lacks in atmosphere it makes up in taste! The staff are very friendly, there are so many options to choose from. The dishes are authentic Indonesian cuisine, and very well priced. They heat up your food and serve cutlery upon request. Highly recommend!

Nieuwe eigenaren en werkelijk geweldige lekkere, smaakvolle gerechten. Goed gepresenteerd en ruime keus. Zeer vriendelijke, vrolijke bediening.

Voor dit geld kan je echt beter Indonesische voedsel in A'dam krijgen. Vlees is wat droog en de rest van de gerechten niet goed op smaak. Groente missen wat bite.

Onze geliefde Toko waar we al sinds de opening komen (15, 20 jaar?). De catering is uitstekend en uniek. De winkel biedt heerlijke maaltijden. Betere gado-gado kun je in Amsterdam niet vinden (jammer dat martabak niet meer op het menu staat). Aanrader

We have been here a few times for take away food. Price wise it varies on what you want but say euro 7 to 9. The food is good with a good range. They also have some ingredients you can buy which includes some soft drink and beers.

This place is located not far away from Museum Square about 100-200 meters. To be happy found Indonesian food taste here, nasi goreng, egg balado, eggplant balado, chicken rica, sauteed chili, stir-fried rice vermicelli, mie goreng, etc. Really recommended

I've been going here for years. They have all sorts of delicious Indonesian foods. Everything I ever ordered there was good.
