Spaghettata Rotterdam in Rotterdam Centrum

We bezochten de zaak tijdens een citytrip. Het restaurant lag vlakbij ons hotel, Hotel Van Walsum. We gingen dineren met 3 vriendinnen. De zaak is mooi en hip ingericht. Het eten was heel lekker en de bediening was super vriendelijk.

Wat een geweldige kok heeft Spaghettata nu. We hebben er heerlijk buikspek en pasta vongole gegeten. Bediening wat ook zo ontzettend aardig. Echt geweldig!

Wat een fantastisch restaurant, heerlijk gegeten heerlijke wijn. Kenny, de eigenaar, een top man. Niks is teveel,geeft goed advies. Een mooie kaart en zeker te betalen. Buiten een leuk terras en binnen ook heel gezellig. Wij komen zeker terug als we weer in Rotterdam zijn

I have thought about it for a long time, but to be honest, it should be 4 stars.... more than 10 years ago I ate here at least 50 times in 2 years.... we were addicted to the food.... to the staff and the atmosphere....all seats were always fully occupied and actually it was just a restaurant where you could choose from pasta....pasta and pasta....but great pasta with great sauces and great vegetables and great fish or meat...in short, a top place...now many years later it is still a very good place, but running a restaurant has become much more difficult...well, everything at a glance ....the owner is called Ken and is a very likeable person with a good sense of humor....the food is very good but all a bit smaller than before....the menu now also has a number of pizzas on it menu....where in the past every possible request to change a dish was approved, this is now a bit more difficult....great choice of wine, chosen in consultation with Ken....very and I repeat very sweet staff but really good is really different... and of course the place was full again... I will definitely take a seat there again soon... because it will certainly be very good again...

ok, but no more than that. No antipasti taken. The main courses were a bit underseasoned. the red wine Passo del sud was tasty. The desserts delicious.

First time I sporadically walked in somewhere because I was very hungry. Once I ordered prawns in tomato sauce I was right Hmm lkkr but once I finished the prawns, I paid the bill and walked out the door 30 minutes later I started sweating I didn't feel well I already had cramps in my stomach when I left the shop, but not the given attention. Once home I started to get sicker, everything came out from both the front and the back of the drain. Called the doctor. FOOD POISONING, 3 days of illness, first aid blood came back. Well you know I will never eat here again, because the shrimp really killed me. You will receive a call during opening hours because this happened yesterday 😤.

Nothing like an Italian restaurant, menu that offers invented dishes; why not... Only the combination of flavors is not there at all, the cooking of the confit is abominable, the sauce has no particular taste. The presentation is sloppy and unworthy of a restaurant, especially for the price asked (on average €20 per dish), the service is sloppy by untrained young people (server places half an uncut baguette in the middle of the table, obliged after 20 minutes of waiting to call the waiter to take our order, then call the waiter again for the aperitif which he ended up serving us at the same time as the main course). It's not worth the trip at all.

The first thing that hits you when entering the establishment is the smell of an open sewer. Not a great start. Apparently, the bathrooms are located directly in front of the entrance in a cellar below. Don't know what is wrong with the plumbing but yeah, not a great start. Prices are very steep for starters (almost the same for main courses) but some of them were great. However, the anitpasta plate (around 16 euros) which consists of a few slices of salami and 4 olives is atrocious to be honest. The prices on their website is also not up to date anymore. For example, the salmon tagliatelle is now 21 euros (not 18!). Some of the starters were great (beef slices and octopus) but the our main courses were very underwhelming. The pasta was way too 'Al dente' (under cooked) and my salmon tagliatelle was so plain and devoid of taste that i would rather make one at home for myself. After the first bite I could already tell this is going to give me trouble and indeed the next day my own plumbing took a beating. The service is very nice and helpful though. Then again, it was very quiet so I don't know how things are when the place is packed. All in all, I suggest you go somewhere else. At the moment, you will not enjoy the food/atmosphere here.

Finally open again and just a cozy Italian with excellent food.

It was tasty, a bit soggy bottom of the pizza. Too bad about the noise due to everyone's talking, maybe a little more decoration to dampen the sound. Also a pity about the French coffee that was cold, served with fake whipped cream, in a kind of whiskey glass. I don't think the discussion did us any good. A little host had served a warm new one 😇😁

We went there for dinner. We wanted to have a quick bite of Italian noodles and this place was just around the corner of our hotel. You get free bread (probably Ciabatta) from the place once you take a seat. My girlfriend got noodles with a cream truffles sauce and I had penne arrabiata. We also got a small portions of each because we weren't super hungry. I was amazed how well Al dente the noodles were cooked. Luckily for me the arrabiata sauce was spicy but not too spicy and it was very delicious in combination with the cheese on top of the noodles. The truffle sauce also tasted super good. We even used the bread to clean out any sauce left on our plates.

This is one of the best restaurants in Rotterdam. The owners are incredible people. I would totally recommend it!

Good pasta, however quite high prices for the portion. Didn't like the gnocchi that much. Very friendly waiter.

Pluspoints: Nice atmosphere, good service Things to improve: waiting times between dishes needs to be lower. No small starters, only large (and expensive) options. My starter was better than my main, so that's something!

Très bien accueillis dans ce restaurant. Nous n’avions pas réservé mais nous avons tout de même pu y avoir une place un extremis. Le service a été très agréable. Les plats étaient délicieux. Bon assaisonnement, bonne cuisson. Nous avons passez un très bon moment ! Je le recommande vivement !

Leuk restaurant met een kaart waar voldoende keus op staat. De service was netjes en snel genoeg. We waren met een groepje en hebben allemaal lekker gegeten. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Heerlijk gegeten, voorgerecht van inktvis was echt heerlijk. Truffelpasta ook een aanrader.

Heerlijk gegeten met leuke mensen in een leuk restaurant. Als voorgerecht Spinazie en het onovertroffen hoofdgerecht Tagliatelle met eend.

Ravioli was amazing, atmosphere was romantic, soft lights, nice staff… Worth it.

Goed gegeten, maar lange wachttijden tussen de gerechten. Ik vond zelf weinig sfeer in het restaurant.

Voortreffelijk gegeten, vriendelijk personeel, schone zaak. Niks op aan te merken. Ook heel fijn dat je voor een normale of kleine portie kan kiezen!

Inrichting is niet perse heel knus, maar omdat het altijd vol is, wordt het toch gezellig. Lekker menu, goede cocktails en wijnen, supervriendelijk personeel.

Pizza zum mitnehmen bestellt. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Während der Wartezeit mit Getränk und frischem Brot aus dem Ofen versorgt worden. Toll.

Heel lekker gegeten. Fijne sfeer. Porties aan de kleine kant, net genoeg.

Heerlijke gerechten. Prijs-kwaliteit zeker in orde. Vriendelijk personeel. Vlotte bediening. Een echte aanrader als je zin hebt in Italiaanse gerechten !

Gute italienische Küche ohne reine Fleisch- und Fischgerichte( kein bistecca o.ä). Freundliche Bedienung, Aussensitzplätze

Lekker eten en vooral supervriendelijke bediening! We waren er als koppel mzt onze 2 kids (7&9) en er werd spontaan aangeboden om kleurstiften en papier te brengen. Blijkbaar waren er geen kleurprenten over, dus had de serveerster er gewoon zelf getekend voor de kids 👍🙂 - en ze waren nog mooi getekend ook 💪

Intanto hanno Pasta senza glutine ...non cosa da poco per chi come me a rotterdam trova solo alternativa vegana e vegetariani .Pasta buona salmone fresco ottima qualità e cottura quasi perfetta.mancava sale nella pasta ma tutto sommato ho mangiato un buon piatto. Dolci buoni il cannolo servito un po' troppo freddo e la torta meringa .

Lekker eten voor een redelijke prijs. Vriendelijk personeel en nette bediening.

Leuke zaak, heerlijke pasta en pizza gegeten. Voorgerechtje...gegrilde octopus...heel lekker. Aanrader.

Regelmatig een pasta wezen eten. Kaart is simpel, niet te duur. Raakt wel echt de kern van italiaans eten. Italianen staan achter het fornuis. Ik zou voor de ragù gaan.

Beste pasta carbonara ever, en mega aardige bediening.

Ons eerste bezoek aan dit restaurant is ons goed bevallen. Gezellig druk, leuk en functioneel ingericht. Een vlotte bediening en een overzichtelijke kaart. Het eten, en daar gaat het natuurlijk om, was prima en ruim voldoende. Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug.

Weer een verrassing 😀 Dit komt vaker voor, maar deze mag echt genoemd worden. Wat een heerlijke gerechten en wat een prettige service en sfeer. De kwaliteit /prijs verhouding is erg goed. We zijn veel langer gebleven dan voorzien en dat vooral door de perfecte bediening en de gastvrijheid.

Heerlijke pasta en pizza. Leuke lekkere voorgerechten! Goede bediening en inrichting ook leuk.

Gedateerd restaurant. Antipasta was goed, hoofdgerecht (pasta) was oke, maar was absoluut geen 18 euro waard. Ik had t zelf net zo kunnen maken, al dan niet beter. Bediening liet te wensen over. Ze waren meer met elkaar bezig dan met de gasten. Andere gasten liepen zelfs naar de bar toe om koffie te bestellen, omdat de bediening gewoon niet langs liep. Erg jammer. Wij komen hier niet meer terug.

It was a nice dining experience. Staff was friendly. The food was nice, a bit too oily for my liking though. Desserts were super tasty!

Te duur in verhouding tot wat je eten krijgt, lekker maar te weinig.

Positief: erg vriendelijke bediening! Negatief: akoestiek is vreselijk en het eten was gewoon niet zo lekker. Was mijn 1e bezoek, maar ook meteen het laatste. Helaas.
