We had the tapas menu with 4 people. We had a lot of different dishes on the table and everything was delicious. The service is very friendly. Definitely worth repeating.

Long waiting time, inattentiveness

It fell into the 'good' category, which isn't exceptional for us. Too bad..

We arrived at 6:30 PM, but due to a mistake in the kitchen and understaffing, we didn't get our food until 7:45 PM. We wanted to start eating, but the food was cold or slightly warm. So my girlfriend's food had to be sent back to the kitchen. This also meant my food got cold. The two Cokes I didn't have to pay for are cold consolation for that. Poor organization and inattentive service. And the food was cold and we had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes.

I love eating at this restaurant. Delicious Greek food, and the service is very friendly. It was also very cozy at Christmas. It was busy, but the staff and kitchen kept up well. Highly recommended.

I've been coming to Zorba for years; the food is delicious every single time! And the colleagues are great! And if something isn't right or tasty, it always gets fixed.

I ordered via Uber Eats and that gentleman on the phone was super nice. I had entered my house number without adding it, totally forgotten, and he went to great lengths to deliver the food to the right address. The food was HOT, not warm, so that means it was just freshly made! I feel like I'm in Greece for a moment with this delicious food! Definitely order here! Next time I'll order directly from the restaurant! Great service, delicious food!! What more could you ask for?

I have eaten at Zorba several times. The food there is always truly delicious. The staff is sometimes a bit inconsistent. Lots of weekend helpers, and you can tell they aren't very customer-friendly (not real hospitality people through and through). And that is a shame. I come for the food and the atmosphere. But if they invested a little more in the staff, this place would get a 10 from me. But even so, a solid 8.

We had the pleasure of enjoying the Mezedes menu at Zorba. A very nice concept and very affordable. Nice and tasty dishes. All in all, highly recommended in Spijkenisse and the surrounding area... After all these years, Zorba continues to surprise and maintain its quality...

Tonight, my boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the tapas menu. Top-notch staff and owner! I have been coming here for practically my entire life and hopefully I can keep doing so for a long time to come. We really enjoyed ourselves in the outdoor area together with 2 other tables! Good food and the atmosphere is nice. And perhaps even more importantly... The staff is super! Every single one of them is a lovely person, and also very child-friendly if you're out with little friends. Prices are good too, what more could you ask for?! We will definitely be back 100%

Good food, but we waited an hour for the starter, and then only enough for one person came instead of two. Do check your bill though, because for the third time we had drinks on the bill that weren't ours.

The dolmades were much better... larger in size. The small ones this time were small and hard. They looked a bit like canned dolmas... Very disappointing considering how good they were before! The vegetarian platter also had some gigantes, stuffed bell peppers/tomatoes, and half a plate full of fries. I found it really disappointing...

An atmospheric location and courteous service. The food is well-prepared and very tasty.

We ate there recently; we had to wait a very long time for service and it wasn't busy. When we got home, we smelled strongly of frying oil, and we were seated quite far from the kitchen. No, unfortunately, things are going downhill.

Negative: An older man with a goatee has been working there for a long time. He's always so grumpy and curt. This is costing this lovely restaurant customers! The other staff are very nice, a beautiful woman, and the owner, but unfortunately, that goatee is always around, and you're out of luck if he serves your table. Positive: The food is delicious, you get more on your plate these days, including fries, and there's a nice Greek atmosphere. Because of that grumpy guy, I'm giving the service a 2-star rating, and you can barely hear the music anymore.

The table was great, but it took quite a while for the food we ordered to arrive, even though it was still early and very quiet. The manager cleared the ouzo from the table before it was finished. But the food was delicious. We had a zorba platter and moussaka.

Portions were okay, but the food wasn't particularly delicious. We've eaten at much better Greek restaurants. The service was generally friendly, except for the manager. We didn't even get a thank you when we paid.

We had a wonderful experience at Zorba. We made a reservation on the website and received feedback. At 4:30 PM, we even received a reminder that we had booked a table for 6:30 PM on December 31, 2025. We arrived promptly, but unfortunately, Zorba was closed. So bad!

Today I made a reservation for three people. It would have been nice to have dinner together on New Year's Eve. The opening hours indicated it was open. When we arrived, it turned out to be closed. A few other people showed up as well. We'd come for nothing. Well, we'll order the food through Thuisbezorgd. Thanks!

This is and remains a wonderful Greek restaurant. We needed to eat quickly because we were going to a show. We mentioned this to the lovely waitress, and she was very accommodating. The food was delicious. The gyros were wonderfully seasoned and crispy, and the moussaka was outstanding. We will definitely return, but then we'll take our time with the three-course menu. Excellent.

Upon arrival, we mentioned our reservation, and were waved openly to choose a table. We were given a window table, where we were overlooked for 15 minutes. The food was delicious. When clearing the table, I pushed the plates and glasses forward so the owner wouldn't have to reach far, and then he rudely told me not to do that because he wanted to take the kitchen supplies away first. No more Zorba for us.

It took a really long time for our order to be taken. They said there was a power outage, but coincidentally, I'd read a review from work ago where this was also mentioned. The carpaccio was delicious. The Zorba dish just wasn't fresh, the meat was mediocre, and everything was lukewarm because of the cold plates. My husband had a different, but similar experience. My dessert, cheesecake baklava, was still frozen. The staff wasn't very friendly; they were surprised we hadn't finished our overflowing plate. Large portions, but not particularly delicious. It's also really strange that you have to get your own salad when you get your plate of food. And it's also quite expensive. I thought it had a very "trokkie" vibe; the salad bar made me feel like a "trokkie." I love Greek cuisine, but you won't see me back there! I went once years ago with my work, but it wasn't great then either. It's amazing they still exist!

A table was placed on Saturday at 6:00 PM, and at 7:40 PM, after being offered a drink once and ordering a second time but never receiving it (they checked on it three times, though...), I left. The starter arrived quickly, but the main course never arrived...

Booked a table at 6.30pm for 2 people in the extension where the temperature was not nice, it was freezing cold. Food was only served at 8pm, it was tasty but not completely complete, a shame. Did not order dessert because of the temperature, very unfortunate.

Super busy evening with too few staff. After two hours, we asked for an estimate of how long it would take. The waiter never returned. We finally received two of our three orders. The third dish took another 10 minutes. The vegetarian dish was poor. The other dishes were good.

It was completely full. We arrived at 5:45 PM, and by 7:30 PM, there was still no main course. Everything was cold. Everyone was waiting at other tables. It could have been busy, but the staff didn't apologize or ask for a drink. I'd never experienced anything like this before. Everyone outside was angry. It would have been different if the staff had explained something or apologized.

We had made a reservation for four people, and upon arrival, we weren't asked. We were then shown to a table, and it took a while before we received our menu. We then had to ask to order after waiting almost 30 minutes. After ordering, the appetizer arrived fairly quickly, but when we wanted to move on to the main course, we waited at least 45 minutes before we left. In short, we waited a very long time for nothing. It was incredibly busy, and the restaurant simply didn't have enough staff to handle it. It's a shame, as we were really looking forward to it.

Large portions for a reasonable price. The souzouki was wonderfully tender and seasoned. The souvlaki was dry. The salad bar only had two options, which could be a bit more extensive. The olives were delicious, though.

We got chicken souvlaki, mine a gluten free version. The chicken was undercooked and some was actually pink. The GF order had no onion or peppers. It was super greasy. We reported the problem to the manager and there was no apology and no compensation. We do not recommend it, especially for the cost and risk of getting sick. Service was not attentive.

We reserved a table yesterday, but due to a traffic jam on the Hartel Bridge, we were 45 minutes late. We called ahead and it was no problem at all. Because of the traffic jam, we were pressed for time and wanted our dinner quickly. The Zobra staff were very cooperative, so compliments on that! The delicious Greek dishes arrived very quickly, allowing us to eat them at a leisurely pace. The food was delicious and wonderfully flavorful. Afterward, we were on time for our next appointment. We don't live in Spijkernisse ourselves, but we'd love to come back again to dine at our leisure. And to enjoy all the delicious Greek dishes on Zobra's menu!

We've been coming to Zorba five or six times a year for years. Unfortunately, it's getting worse and worse on all fronts. It's empty on Fridays, the food is just barely adequate, minimal. It's nowhere near as good as it used to be. Eating out at Zorba used to be a joy, but now it's become a very mediocre restaurant. Rhodos Breda and Olympia Zevenbergen are head and shoulders above the rest. Unfortunately, Zorba is no longer the best restaurant in Spijkenisse.

We were warmly welcomed with ouzo and then enjoyed a truly delicious meal. The meat was tender and the portions were definitely not small. The staff came by regularly to ask if everything was to our liking—that's how it should be. We'll definitely be back and will definitely return.

We come here often, had a great meal. Nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately, the atmosphere yesterday was less good than usual. A group of very noisy/antisocial customers were sitting in the back of the restaurant and since several staff members walked to the table several times (past ours), they seemed like regular/friendly customers. We could hardly hear each other because of the antisocial shouting, which was downright annoying. Not very customer-friendly...

Went for dinner on a weekday. Not really busy but nice atmosphere. Good food (quite a lot) and fast service. We liked it better than at the fellow Greek restaurant in Brielle. Will definitely repeat this.

We had a great meal! With a group of 10 people we were served very well - friendly, fast and with attention. The food was delicious and the bill was very fair, especially for such a large group. Really recommended, we would love to come back!

Authentic Greek restaurant conveniently located in a pedestrian zone. The service is perfect, and the food and drinks are well worth the price. I'm just coming back.

When we entered there was a screaming child with his parents, we wanted to leave after hesitating. Then we were served nicely and we sat comfortably with a calling customer behind us, who thought it was cool to do business hard in coal English. Furthermore we ate bread with delicious garlic butter and a large plate of meat and dry chicken. The fries were dry and did not come straight from the fryer, kept warm or reheated. We were disappointed.

Starter was delicious. Main course not. Was lukewarm and tasted like it had been reheated. When we pointed this out to the waiter, she found this annoying. But we didn't hear anything from the owner who was present. Service was provided by several waiters. One is better than the other.

Nice and cozy place,with authentic and good quality greek food. The service was good with a taste of greek hospitality.We took saganaki ,greek salad,stifado and zorba witch had a variety of grilled meat and of course for dessert we had Ice cream that it was delicious and fresh.Very good prices.We were very satisfied and of course we ll go again. Absolutely fine. Been there 3 times. 3 times just fine!

The starter was tasty. The grill dishes were mediocre. The meat was not served directly from the grill. The meat was warmed up which made it very dry. The sauces were not freshly made, they came from a package. The service was very rushed. When we got the menu from one waiter, the next one was at the table within a minute to ask if you had already made a choice. The menu is much too big.

My son felt completely at his birthday, 11 years old & the staff had organised it really nicely with fireworks and they took the whole place along to sing and clap. Great! The food was of course delicious as always. On to the next time!
