The terrace is lovely and the food itself is excellent, but unfortunately, a number of things went wrong. 1) A very long wait for drinks (half an hour). 2) Because we had to leave early, we discussed with the staff beforehand that ordering burgers would be the quickest, so we did. Unfortunately, we still had to wait over an hour and were late. 3) Three of the five burgers were not what we ordered (they had carpaccio on them, even the chicken burger). 4) During the serving process, due to a mistake by the waitress, one of our fries fell on the floor. The waitress didn't mention this, and we didn't receive a new one, nor was it reflected in the price afterward. 5) There were no salads included, even though this was stated in the order. Due to the high time pressure, we were unable to raise the last three points with the staff. All in all, a very disappointing experience.

We sat outside with six people for a lovely high tea. It was sunny and warm, and the parasol was opened for us. Service was prompt and friendly. Someone came to explain that our waitress was deaf and that this could cause communication problems, but it didn't. Last weekend I was there and had a delicious meal. The ham and cheese sandwich is definitely recommended.

The surroundings are beautiful. The high tea was disappointing, little and it was very dry, the cheese was hard, no clotted cream with the scones and the soup was just lukewarm for example. But what was even worse was that first of all the parasol was broken, the staff bumped their heads against it themselves. Half an hour later the parasol flew at the guests in front of us, helped to fold that thing, staff was busy inside and did not notice anything. Went downstairs to warn them. Addition: it was not a light parasol, but as said already broken and was clearly not secured properly because there was no strong wind. Too bad that any self-reflection about that is hard to find. That is what I find special.

We had lunch in the greenhouse with a group of more than twenty people. It was very enjoyable, we had the entire greenhouse to ourselves. The food was also excellent, highly recommended!

Upon arrival we had to take a seat in a butterfly box. Carpaccio starter was 2 slices of meat, lots of mayonnaise and lettuce served on a saucer. Had a nice meal last Sunday with 6 people. Sufficient choice from the 3-course menu, and smooth service. Finally a restaurant that understands how important a generous portion of mayonnaise is with fries. Nice choice also for twister fries instead of the standard fries. Only the lady blanche, which really needs to be on a plate, now it was a ball in a cup, and that detracts from the dessert. Nothing else to comment on. Definitely recommended.

We were very disappointed with the food. It tasted like a microwave meal had been heated up for us. Very salty and no vegetables or other side dishes. The dishes were incomplete. The cucumber-yogurt sauce was out of stock, as was the mashed potato. The rice that came with a stew was still cold. We visited last week. When you mix gluten-free pasta with non-gluten-free sauce (for example) and then rinse it to get it off, there is a good chance that traces will remain behind that can affect people with celiac disease. In my opinion, "rinse it away" is not a good way to deal with allergies very precisely, nor is it a simple 'cross-pollination' that can happen.

The employee haughtily indicated that this could happen, and later she offered a free drink for the company as compensation! I indicated to him that this was what we were told and SpIJS employees ALSO came to smoke there.. the dining facility that was assigned to us was on a floor. There was an adjustment to move someone with a wheelchair up and down, but it was much too steep, which meant that it turned out that two people had to operate the wheelchair. The cutlery was not always clean, fingers were visible and there were cracks in the crockery where bacteria could accumulate. When we were served coffee, the cup was first placed on the table and the saucer with cookie next to it, but the cup itself was placed on the saucer. The high tea was placed on shaky Etagères whose screw was rusty! The various dishes were also distributed over the long table, creating a flow between the narrow path. What I found worst about it was the hanging around me. Tablemates who leaned over me to grab different dishes while you were eating yourself... My cousin was spoken to in a lady-like tone, after he had not had any food for an hour, by the waitress and later again by the manager because he had taken some food out of the car... luckily my nephew said "I think you are too." not nice” which he was absolutely right about. I also saw that the staff were gossiping about us in plain view, I saw them standing together and regularly looking at us! All in all, a bad experience with mediocre staff and the manager who thinks he is selling something nice, indicated that it is a natural park where no smoking is allowed, but does not know that his own staff also smoke there.

I had agreed with the owner that I would be present at the birthday party at 11 a.m. to decorate it a bit, when I arrived the employee showed me a table for 12 people, while we had 18 people (14 adults and 4 small children). / babies) had reserved. I responded that there was no food in the box but the leftover cake from my son's birthday and that we had paid for the food anyway, so what would have been the problem if we had taken something with us. The agreement was that soft drinks from large bottles would be served at a reduced rate, but in the end only small bottles were served and charged. When I said something about this, the owner said that I could have paid attention to it myself. Said that I am not responsible for their affairs, I am there to celebrate the birthday and not to keep an eye on everyone. They don't even ask you to pour your own drinks. €20 was refunded because the fruit salad was not served (they had forgotten), the rest was not done. I have called and emailed them several times about this. They ultimately stopped responding. I gave them the opportunity to resolve it properly, but they did not do so.

The location is quite remote in Zutphen, but is very suitable for families and families with children. You can also sit outside on the terrace and there is plenty of space for children to play. We enjoyed a Shared Lunch & a High Wine & Beer drink 😉!

While eating the stew tasting, the pumpkin stew was overcooked, watery and tasteless, the coq au vin chicken came out of the freezer and was cold. We had a great time and enjoyed the treats. Somewhat late I announced that we had vegetarians among us. And they immediately adjusted this for us! Super nice! The savory snacks were delicious. Not a problem for us, but it might be useful to pay attention. -We thought the snacks were a bit meager compared to the high tea we had a while ago at Spijs in Warnsveld. Perhaps this could be because we have scored a social deal promotion and your normal high tea board is filled differently, so I will not comment further on that. The homemade soup was very tasty. -It might be nice to use etagères instead of breadboards, just like with the high tea in Warnsveld. That might give it a little more of the ambiance of a high tea. -The staff sat quietly on the chairs between the bar and the kitchen a lot. Since there was not always much to do, the entire team eventually came together in the same place. This made it a little more difficult for us to order something more, because everyone was having a nice conversation with each other. Absolutely no problem to have a nice time in the workplace, but it might be useful to keep someone on their toes on occupied tables. Other than that, nothing to complain about and we had a really enjoyable afternoon. The staff was also very friendly and happy to help us. Het eten is heerlijk, de prijzen zijn netjes. Ook voor kinderen genoeg opties. Er is plek om zowel binnen als buiten te spelen voor de kinderen. De sfeer is goed! Minpunt is dat het personeel totaal niet zichtbaar is (buiten). We hebben lang moeten wachten om überhaupt te bestellen, en het eten zelf werd laat gebracht. Omdat er geen personeel buiten rond loopt moet je zelf naar binnen lopen om te vragen waar het blijft. Het heeft enorm veel potentie maar wees zichtbaar. (Ook goed voor de verkoop 😉)

Wat een gezellige plek! Heerlijk eten en de bediening was heel gezellig. Als je weet dat het mensen zijn met een afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt, weet je dat je soms wat meer geduld moet hebben, maar dat is het zeker waard! En een foutje bij de bestelling werd keurig opgelost top! Mooie vlindertuin erbij alsook een speelplek voor de kinderen. Als tip zou ik willen zeggen zorg dat alles op de kaart er is. "Het ijs verkopen wij hier niet maar we delen de kaart met Warnsveld" is niet zo handig naar mijn mening. Verder zeker een aanrader!

Halverwege een mooie wandeling door het prachtige landschap van Zutphen, gestopt voor een drankje en taartje , tosti bij het sfeervolle mooi gelegen Kaardenbol .

Heel gezellig restaurant! Ik ben er voor een high tea geweest en op mijn verzoek om een broodje met kipfilet (ik ben een lastige eter) werd heel fijn gereageerd en de rest was ook heerlijk!

Heerlijke high tea gehad vandaag samen met mijn man. Alles superlekker. En meer dan voldoende. Van hartig tot zoet, koud en warm en een heerlijk soepje. En bovenal heel erg aardig en vriendelijk personeel. Zeker een aanrader.

Onwijs leuke sfeer en erg lekker eten. Passende gerechten en leuk dat er wordt gewerkt seizoensgebonden producten! Verder was het entertainment tussen de gangen door erg vermakelijk! Al met al een erg goede ervaring.

De verschillende smaak sensaties waren heel lekker, heel erg genoten van de gezelligheid. De gedichten en de liedjes waren heel fijn tussendoor. Goeie herdfst inluiding 🤎🍂🍁

Eindelijk weer eens uit eten, waar beter dan bij een secret dining. Waar de herfst werd ingeluid met een toepasselijk menu. Niet van te voren weten wat je krijgt, maakt het spannend. Het was heerlijk. Met passie gemaakt en geserveerd. De entertainment tussen de gangen door, maakte het geheel af. Een geslaagde avond, voor herhaling vatbaar.
