Very tasty food, very filling and tasted great. The price-quality ratio is excellent, freshly made and fresh ingredients used. It was very pleasant to sit and the staff were polite. It was a bit busy in the restaurant, but it remained pleasant.

They forgot my order twice. I'm highly suspicious they did it in purpose because of my ethnicity. Do not go there unless you are not white. They seems to care of only serving white people.👎👎👎👎 they didn't even apologized

A great place to be if you're walking along Haarlemmerstraat and just want to grab something without thinking too hard about it. This isn't a store where you weigh whether something is worth the price—more like a place where prices just happen, somewhere between three and ten euros, and no one discusses them. The snacks are fine, the coffee good enough, but the staff seems to be consistently in the minority. As soon as someone orders a coffee inside, the sole employee disappears behind the machine, and the whole place temporarily becomes a kind of observation of human wait tolerance. With a bit of luck, they'll put a queue manager outside soon, not because it's so exclusive here, but because the sole employee gets completely absorbed in the coffee machine as soon as someone says "latte." In short: nice if you have the time and don't count your wallet too carefully.

I work close by and usually get food and coffee there, everything is quite nice and the staff is really friendly. Love their vegan "chicken" and avocado sandwich!

Definitely go there during the day if you're craving small, original (br/lunch) snacks and delicious coffee. Great service, and they'll even look up why pandan rice is called pandan rice while you enjoy your delicious pandan cake.

I had an iced cappuccino which was delicious. However, the paper straw was terrible. I felt like I was rushing to drink my coffee because the straw was melting on my mouth and drink, instead of siping and enjoying it.

Delicious coffee, ordered some coffee to take home

I usually love STACH but I was disappointed again today. I enjoy their Oatly soft serve, but for €3,50 this is a shocking little amount of ice cream you get. It also differs per person that is working how much you get, while you still pay the same price. They also advertise with the picture added, which shows like 4x the ice cream you actually get. My ice cream didn’t even reach the edge of the waffle cup, it wasn’t even close. I hope they will consider this feedback and be more consistent in the future, I will unfortunately not be returning because this has happened too many times.

It’s my second attempt to buy chocolate in this place. Nothing changed. Absolutely all bars look horrible. Waste of money

This was one of my favorite places to grab a bite but tragically they stopped offering what I considered a gastronomic masterpiece, the Kim Chi Hotdog. I had to check a second location to confirm, but it's true. I am still struggling to comprehend how this could have happened. Insiders tell me not enough people were ordering it, but sometimes you don't realize what you have, and maybe a little more prominence, a little more promotion would have made all the difference. I can see a fun cartoon anthropomorphized hotdog character on a Stach tshirt! On a Stach mug! I will keep going every week to see if it comes back, unfortunately none of the other sandwiches can compare so I have had to leave disappointed and hungry so far (well I might have bought a white chocolate chip cookie 7 or 8 times) Please reconsider this calamitous decision and make this one Amsterdam resident wildly happy in a world already falling apart. P.S. the staff here are wonderful.

From the moment I walked in, I felt a warm, loving atmosphere. The counter, filled with all kinds of delicious cookies, was a feast for the eyes. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail, clean and stylishly decorated. Soothing music played in the background, making the whole experience even more special. And then the food… Oh my, the smashed avocado on fresh brown bread! The creaminess of the avocado, the spicy touch of the salsa and the slight bitterness of the arugula formed a perfect harmony. The first bite gave me a tingling in my stomach, like I was falling in love with the taste. But what really makes this place special is the warmth of the staff. The sweet employee with her beautiful blue earrings and light blue eyes radiated so much kindness. Her smile and helpfulness made my experience complete. This is not just a café, it is a place where you feel seen, loved and pampered. I will definitely come back here! 💛

After having this place on my list for a while, I finally got the chance to visit – and it certainly didn't disappoint! As someone who wouldn't eat a sandwich anywhere anytime soon, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of their smashed avocado sandwich. The added salsa gave it a delicious, fresh twist that balanced perfectly with the creamy avocado. As always, I opted for a chai latte, and here too it was a hit. The taste was exactly as it should be: spicy, creamy and with the right sweetness. An absolute must for chai lovers! What makes this place extra special is the beautiful view. While you enjoy your coffee or lunch, you can discover a unique part of Amsterdam. It's the perfect place to relax and leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind. In addition, the service was excellent. The employee who helped me was incredibly friendly and hospitable, which made the whole experience even more pleasant. The combination of delicious dishes, a warm ambiance and top service makes this place a must-visit. I will definitely come back here!

Marijn, if I remember the name correctly, was very friendly and cozy. Delicious coffee and the shop also offers space for people who want to study or read.

Delicious carpaccio sandwich and v cute shop

I didn't sleep well for 2 days due to, among other things, this bad experience with Stach. (Today Sunday, November 24) I am still adjusting my positive thought of 5 stars. We, my best friend and I often come here for a nice chat, a nice cup of coffee and often with one of their many types of tasty cookies. Last Friday (November 22) we experienced something so 'bad' in the Stach Haarlemmerstraat. We come in as always, you look at the menu board and then order what you want. A grumpy employee (blonde, short, long-haired girl) looked at us with almost angry irritation, ooo, there we have '2 lost provincials' or 'tourists' or 'not our kind of neighborhood people' (my heavily pregnant girlfriend lives in the center of Amsterdam, I am very happy in the beautiful picturesque Baambrugge - 15 minutes from Amsterdam) and I wanted to pay in cash. On a very nasty note, only debit cards are accepted. Ok fine, pins are fine. Then we were given a very bad feeling of 'I'll bring it to you' and we were taken to a table. Furthermore, she was very cheerful with everyone. Including a few trendy (hipster) customers and such. (Giving compliments on their clothes, etc. when bringing the coffee and the gingerbread cake, also in a very rude way) Why be so nasty? From the moment I entered until the end when I brought the plate back to the counter, you were rude! What is the purpose of this? What moves you? You will recognize that we come here often, right? (Not every week, but from time to time we bring between €10-€20 (for 2 simple cappucinos and cake) Your other colleagues are so correct and friendly. For them just the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We just keep coming! hopefully we'll never see this (self-deprecating, self-deprecating, grumpy person) again

We stopped,yesterday evening,at this lovely little treasure ,what a lovely, pleasant hostess,welcoming 😊.. I had a tasty pumpkin spice, latte,and a really tasty pistachio tart,hubby had flavoured water,and a macaroon . Would definitely return,thank you very much! NB, card payment only.

What an unprofessional club. Bad service, bad coffee, a cookie for 3.50 euros and a mini apple pie with the dough still soft. Toilet filthy. No chance, such a simple concept and you don't make anything of it.

Fantastic sandwiches, empanadas, and super friendly service make this a great place to stop on your way into Amsterdam Centraal. Also, the pink chai latte is delicious and aesthetically very pleasing. Good prices on beer :)

Been coming here for years, a few times every year. Always fun and friendly. Service could be better, you have to order at the counter, even when you sit down. When you get your coffee and want some sugar, you have to get it again at the entrance. Not a disaster, but could be better. Sandwiches are tasty and well prepared.

Not very welcoming or helpful staff. Opening hours are not correct either. Closes 7:30 (apparently)

High quality coffee. I ordered an oat milk cappuccino, the espresso shot was the perfect strength and balance of flavour and the milk was foamed to a velvety consistency which I find rare to find in Europe. Unfortunately this is the best photo I could find!

Popped in for a sandwich and a coffee. Decided on truffles and meatballs on dark bread with a black coffee. Turned out to be a great decision. Sandwiches are made on order and are delicious. Staff is service minded, fast, thorough, and of course super nice.

For a quick snack and okay coffee/matcha this is great! You know what to expect, but yes it is quite expensive. Service is always great tho!

my friend and I went to get a large Oat Cappuccino but the coffee tasted burnt so we gave it back, then the blonde barista made another one for us but it also tasted burnt. We told her it could be that the temperature on the machine was too high so the coffee was burning but she said the coffee just tastes like that (which isn't true, because we've been to at least 5 other Stach shops around Amsterdam multiple times and it never tasted like that) Then we asked for a Chai latte instead since the coffee wasn't getting better and she said she can only give us a medium Chai latte because she already made us 2 large coffees (that we didn't drink and gave back instantly because they asked burnt) The medium chai latte costs 40 cents less than what we paid and she said she can't give us the 40 cents because "they don't do refunds" Then, when the chai latte was done, she gave us a SMALL instead, which costs way less than the medium and the large. We initially paid 4.95 and now we were getting a drink that cost €3/€3.50 (don't remember the exact price) and we had to insist that we AT LEAST get a medium (which is still a scam since we paid more) We were both regular Stach customers and we visit different shops at least twice or three times a week but now we don't want to give them our money since they clearly don't care about their customers.

Good products expensive location

I had an empanada and a rose lemonade. The empanada was a little soft for my liking, but the filling was great. Rose lemonade was lovely as well. It's a nice place to chill out and watch the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam from the window.

My go-to place for lunch now that our new office is nearby. It's very sunny, bright and has a huge selection fo "grab and go" items. Fresh baked bread too. I like the rolled roast chicken and Zalm broodjes. They have a good Chenin Blanc wine for takeaway too.

Wife loved the natural juice the strawberry/orange was her favorite for something gluten free.

It’s ok but really overpriced and the quality and taste of the food and coffee is not that special. I paid €15,15 today for 3 americano’s and 1 cappuccino with oatmilk. I mean 15 euros for 3 plain coffees and a cappuccino is in my opinion overpriced. And no I didn’t ask for a size for the coffees and the waitresses also didn’t ask me, only for the cappucino. The coffees didn’t taste that good so I kind of felt ripped off tbh.
