Starbucks in Schiphol

Discriminating 2 baristas when we order 4 coffees for €19. Our order was around 12:50pm on Thursday, 19th Jun 2025. I ordered half-volle melk and got havermelk. I told them it was wrong and they showed a passive aggressive attitude, saying that half-volle melk is the standard so I didn’t need to elaborate on that. This will be my last order of Starbucks at this location.

When i entered the coffee shop, i was apparently hated by the blonde attendant who didn't care about understanding my English and was rude from start to the end. I ordered a black tea and she gave me a Earl Grey, than i asked to exchange the Earl Grey for an English Breakfast Tea and this apparently irritated her even more, and she even threw the tea i asked for as an exchange. My dear, if you are unhappy with your salary and working conditions, just train yourself to get a better job. Don't take your frustrations out on tourists. I'm happy, but i don't accept insults from anyone.

Disgusting coffee and dirty space. No quality control whatsoever.

Very long queues and very poor coffee quality. If you want to drink coffee you better go somewhere else.

Coffee is undrinkable and tastes chemical.

WOW! 31€ for 2coffee and 6 muffins. Can’t say that I’m not jealous that I haven’t came up with the idea of overpricing coffee.

Extremely rude staff. I had come in just asking if I could get an iced water and without answering my question, she gave me attitude and told me to go to the toilet. A simple “no” or “the washroom has water” would have been much better than “go to the toilet.” I was prepared to order a different drink but given the attitude, I left without another word.

Bad coffee with too much sugar, you have to love it

Just a short walk from the Hilton at the airport is The Base. A very cool place that also has a Starbucks Coffee inside. The coffee is good, the baristas are friendly, and the seating is cozy and comfortable. As a traveler from the USA, make sure to pay in Euros if you use your credit card because you may have the option to pay in USD. Without going into it, your payment will be a bit cheaper once all money conversions/fees are applied.

Way too large cups of coffee and it's time for them (Starbucks) to pay taxes. There should be 21% less coffee in that soup bowl. So that does compensate.

Great spot away from the crowds at Schiphol, if you’re up for a short walk it’s better to do a coffee here.

Friendly help and a great place to work for a few hours

They may change opening hours sometimes, but that is not correct at all. Very disappointing!

Visitors from the US please read. They do not accept payment using the Starbucks app! This is not a Starbucks owned location it is a franchise run by the company who operates the train station. The service is fine and the coffee the same as you are used to. But be prepared for slight differences. Such as no apo payment and no bathrooms. You go down the hall and pay for the bathroom then Starbucks will reimburse you. This is very common but not well known by visitors.

Coffee without all those additives remains the tastiest coffee.

To expensive and just another Star bucks

This place can get extremely busy being so close to the strip and the convention center. They always seem to be sufficiently staffed. It is a homeless Mecca so bathroom codes are constantly changing. There is a steady turnover of staff but those here are trained and friendly there was a constant flow and they know how to deal with high traffic. Sometimes this place puts on a real show. Metro likes to pop in frequently for their fix and it keeps a lid on this joint. One of my favorites!

Delicious coffee, it is very warm there when the sun is shining.

No free parking but good service

Not the biggest or most beautiful Starbucks, but the personal touch by the barista makes my day. Every time 👍.

Neat Starbucks! Friendly staff, I wanted something that was not on the menu and there was absolutely no problem with that.

Starbucks is delicious, but at this (too) small Starbucks I had to wait too long for my order. The service also seemed a bit too chaotic, so I skipped this branch.

Quiet, not crowded, also a nice terrace.

Open today, but not for outsiders. Open on weekends only for office building employees. We're not used to that from Starbucks...

I don't mind if 2 people get sick (both drank coffee), then you write a message to them and you are told that I will receive a voucher. After 2 months I thought I would ask whether those vouchers still need to be planted. And then suddenly I can get no fewer than 2 vouchers within 2 days. I find this quite scandalous because there is not even an apology or anything.

The more I travel across Europe the more I realise how bland and dull this Starbucks is. Excellent if you compare to Russia, pure dishwasher if you compare to Italian coffee

Mirte is very kind and interested, helps you find your perfect drink without slowing down her service! A very nice atmosphere, best I've ever seen at Starbucks :)
