Steakhouse Asado in Wijk 06 Wateringen

The food was delicious. We weren't exactly impressed with the service. We had to ask for a menu several times. Finally, we looked on the website to see what was available. The music was very loud. We requested a quiet table when making our reservation. We were seated next to a music box. We could barely hear each other. We waited an hour and fifteen minutes for a starter. The food we did get was tasty, but the long wait was still annoying. Total spent €210 for 3 people.

What delicious food they have here. The rib eye was perfect. And the atmosphere is very pleasant.

Mixed Gill for 4 people. It's a lot of meat and well-prepared. The spare ribs are superb.

Top meat, friendly service and definitely recommended

Three of us dined at Asaso. We regularly visit different steakhouses and therefore have good reference points. Asado gets three stars. The food was certainly not bad, but the meat wasn't particularly high-quality or prepared. The appetizer was decent but very saucy; we had the tapas option. The meat on the main course, as mentioned, wasn't the best quality, and the dessert was very bland. It's a good place to eat, but compared to the price and our experiences at other restaurants, we had different expectations than what we got.

Great ribs, and the sides were good too. Good options for wine by the glass and the service was good. Not much atmosphere during the week but expect it gets better on the weekend.

Disappointing, I expected more. It might be my expectations or maybe the location. It's also very expensive for what you get. The service wasn't great on a Saturday night either.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant on the top floor, with stairs and an elevator. The food was delicious. I even had the mixed grill (always good), which was very tasty and the service was friendly and welcoming.

I give Steakhouse Asado 5 stars. Asado is actually the only place I still dine out. This is because Asado is the only restaurant in the South Holland region where you can still get high-quality meat. With every dish you get, you can simply taste the freshness and quality of the product. The restaurant is also beautifully decorated inside with wooden beams. I've eaten there several times now, and it's never overcrowded. This is in contrast to other restaurants, which can sometimes feel like a food shack. The service at Asado is also very friendly and professional, despite the fact that the team is still quite young. The restaurant is a bit more expensive, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. If you have something to celebrate or just want to enjoy a nice meal, I definitely recommend Steakhouse Asado!

The best rib-eye ever! 10/10 ambiance

Delicious food and beautiful location, but far too expensive and certainly by Argentinian standards. Literally 2 pieces of bread for 8 euros? dafuq. The main course was tasty, but the tenderloin was burnt here and there? Dessert also far too pricey for what you get: 11 euros for a measly portion of dulce de leche. Staff was friendly but one of the waitresses came across as very arrogant. Probably the owner's daughter. In any case, we won't be coming back here again.

A very cozy restaurant! A bit pricey, though, and you'd expect them to offer craft beer alongside their high-end steak, but unfortunately, that's not the case. Only pilsner on tap and nothing in bottles, which was very odd. The picanha was also burnt. Nevertheless, we had a pleasant evening thanks to the good atmosphere and service.

The tastiest prawns I've ever eaten

Wij gingen hier eten op Valentijnsdag. Binnenkomst was al heel gezellig versierd,je moet wel een trap op. Er zijn 2 verdiepingen wij zaten boven. Toen wij plaatsnamen viel gelijk op hoe koud het was. De mensen naast ons beamenden dat en achter ons ook. De manager er op aan gesproken die heeft de airco op heet gezet,maar het bleef koud waarschijnlijk door dat we onder de ventilator zaten. We kregen een andere tafeltje en daar was het lekker warm. Het eten was heerlijk en ook de wijn was goed. Ook kreeg iedere vrouw nog een rode roos. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en vlot. Al met alweer een zeer positieve ervaring

We had a delicious meal on Christmas Day, with a different menu, of course, but that's fine. The welcome was friendly and prompt. We had a table upstairs, which wasn't a problem for us. Tip: If you have walking difficulties, please let us know you'd like to eat downstairs. We first asked for a drink and then whether we'd like a 3- or 4-course meal. Very nice. Everything was delicious and at the right temperature. Forgot extra sauce? It was quickly resolved! The service was friendly, which was a welcome relief. All in all, I highly recommend this steak restaurant.

Christmas Day. Then there are people who don't celebrate Christmas at home. For example, because they work at Asado. It doesn't matter to them; they make sure we have a fantastic evening. Hats off to them.

Heel fijn gegeten op 1e kerstdag. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Vlotte bediening maar niet te snel dus goed! Heel lekker eten en goed op temperatuur. Met kerst een aangepast menu maar dat is logisch. Zeker een aanrader. Let op, slecht te been reserveer voor de beneden verdieping. Die keuze is er gewoon. Beschaafde muziek dat is ook fijn.

Great food but on the (way too) expensive side for an Argentinian. Beef tenderloin, 200 grams: 36 euros..8 small pieces of bread to break: 16 euros..Glass of Bonarda red: 8 euros..You don't even pay that at a prime location in the centre of The Hague, and then you're in the bustling heart of a city: at Asado in the back of a car park in Wateringen... The entrance is not very atmospheric anyway: you have to go up a staircase full of cobwebs (doesn't any of the staff see that when you go up and down the stairs???) and you arrive in an uninviting hallway. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, although quite cacophonous when it's not even full, but it is a nice space. Staff and service: so-so. The owner walks by but doesn't say hello and/or doesn't stop by the table. Furthermore, young girls in the service and no one who said goodbye to us when we left the table and then you have to pick out your coat in the hallway with 4 people. If you just pay over 200 euros I expect more. Much more. Conclusion: Bring prices to a realistic level, more attention to the guests and a vacuum cleaner through the stairwell: then everything suddenly becomes much better.

The restaurant and the atmosphere are truly fantastic. Truly beautiful to behold. The service was also very friendly, and despite sitting in a corner, we were never overlooked. Classy ladies! Unfortunately, the food itself was less than stellar. We went by the reviews, but the mixed grill was very dry. It did come with a sauce, but a mixed grill in this price range shouldn't need one. I would come back for the atmosphere and the service, but not for the food. Still, we had a pleasant evening!

While the service and atmosphere are really excellent, the food is only passable. There was a lot of food and we left the restaurant full, which was good. There is no comparison to the South American steakhouses, especially for the price. We ordered the mixed grill deluxe for two persons with fries on the side. The picanha was charred and the fat layer was burnt which gave a bad taste to the cut. The meat is heavily seasoned which is not particularly to my taste as I prefer a simple salt seasoning to better taste the meat. Overall it was an enjoyable meal aside from the picanha.

Wow, what a wonderful experience! We came here for the first time and were immediately pampered upon arrival. I have difficulty walking, and as soon as I entered, I was offered a different (read: more accessible) table. The restaurant has several levels, so there are also many stairs. This makes the layout cozy and homey. It has a very warm atmosphere, where young and old feel at ease. The staff exudes hospitality and service. Everything with a smile. They must be in great shape with all those platters. The food was sublime; I wish I could recreate that on the BBQ. The tenderness is a 10 out of 10, the flavor a 10, and everything was cooked exactly how we liked it. Will we come here again? Definitely, and we'll be bringing friends along so they can help us explore the menu. In short, we had a fantastic evening. Worth every cent 👍👍👍👍 ,

Ons eerste bezoek aan Asado was positief. Gezellige sfeer, duidelijke kaart. En vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. En het vlees was zeer goed bereid voor alle gerechten van ons gezin. Enig nadeel is dat het niet goedkoop is als je van een flink stuk vlees houd, maar dat geld voor een steakhouse in het algemeen. Dus heel tevreden, we komen terug!

When you need a good steak with a good intimate atmosphere, kind and smiling people and, of course, a glass of a good wine, this is the place. Luckily for me, I live in the neighbourhood and I will visit the place as often as I want.

Been coming here for soooo long. (About time ;-)). Beef tenderloin is the absolute winner, but the grilled chicken thigh is certainly not inferior! The atmosphere is great and the staff is always friendly. Always a quick chat with regular visitors (it's the little things that matter) Definitely recommended for an atmospheric, cozy but above all delicious evening out!!!

Delicious food last week, but quite expensive.

Had a nice meal with the five of us. The side dishes are for more than 2 people, so order less than you think you need.

Food was very tasty and fast and the service was very friendly. We asked for a special request and it was responded to very nicely. All in all a really great experience. Definitely come back!

We had dinner here last Friday. On the advice of acquaintances of ours, we chose Asado in Wateringen this time. We were already impressed upon entering, the restaurant exudes a wonderful atmosphere. The menu has a good choice and the dishes are excellent. All three of us had different menus. As a starter we had the Empanadas, 2 pcs. The two of us ate this. As a main course we had the 200 gr tenderloin and the 200 gr ribeye. The meat was delicious. Wonderfully tender. We ordered vegetables and sauce separately. The vegetables were wonderfully crunchy. For dessert we had the Tropical brûlée and the Dulce de leche. My wife had the Suprise menu, which was also delicious. Consisted of Carpaccio, Entrecote and for dessert a lava cake and a scoop of ice cream with a festive fireworks fountain as it was a birthday. The only comment of constructive criticism I could give is that the surprise menu might be better off being a bit of different dishes rather than actually one dish from the menu. For example, the main course could have been a piece of tenderloin, piece of ribeye and piece of sirloin steak. By the way, I tasted some of the meat and I must say it was all very good!!, we were very satisfied. The service was very friendly and they also shipped for us. Thank you for this evening and we will definitely come again...

Enjoyed a wonderful evening at Asado last night. Nice operation: understand how it should be done; neat, alert, not pushy, polite. The food was perfect. Never eaten such a delicious tender tenderloin My husband feared he would never finish his hamburger after an extensive starter, but he didn't want to leave a piece behind. We will definitely come back here!

A very beautiful restaurant in Wateringen with great decoration and menu. I have visited this place quite a few times and the food is always outstanding. We also visited yesterday had picanha and ossenhaas with steak fries and vegetables as sides. All great however the picanha was somewhat chewy. Not sure the reason for this but it could have been better. Service was excellent and fast.

Tasty food and nice service. Enough choice. Decoration is not really my thing because of all the artificial flowers. I would choose music that suits the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Heel lekker gegeten! Zoals de naam al aangeeft 'Steakhouse', goede vleesgerechten. Fantastische kwaliteit vlees. Met zorg bereidt en geserveerd. Persoonlijke en vriendelijke bediening. Ook de desserts een heerlijke smaaksensaties. Voor herhaling!

I.v.m. verjaardag met 21 personen gegeten bij Steakhouse Asado. Bij de reservering het menu doorgenomen en er was beloofd, dat het een mooie avond zou worden. En het was echt geweldig! Heerlijk eten, vlees was supermals en het toetje Dolce de leche is echt een aanrader. Bediening was top! Dikke pluim voor dit restaurant.

Everything about this restaurant is good. Delicious food. Friendly and professional staff. Nicely decorated. And to conclude, well priced for the quality you get. Please note that you have to take the stairs or lift up.

Really super nice, good food and top service

Advice: Don't celebrate a special holiday there! I chose to celebrate my 40th anniversary in this restaurant. I marked this when booking online. Unfortunately I was not satisfied. The staff did not congratulate me on my anniversary. Very rude of them. We were with 10 friends on the second floor in the restaurant. There were a few tables next to each other. Very uncomfortable, as if we were in a canteen. A little later I noticed that there was a beautiful and large elliptical table with beautiful chairs especially for such an occasion. Unfortunately we were not there. The staff had a bad attitude. The food was nothing special. Finally I asked for the cake and they just brought it to me. No plates, no forks. I should have asked for plates and forks. A little dumb. Young people, but they have to follow what is happening. I would not visit the restaurant again!

The foods quality was really good. However, the portions were a bit off. We had a bread basket for a starter, which was way overpriced (7.50) for the four bite size pieces of bread. We had a waitress that was misleading us to choose things before seeing the menu. This one incident aside we had a really great time, the location and decor of the place was really beautiful and made for great vibes.

Truly one of the tastiest rib eyes I have ever eaten. Yes, it is quite pricey, but in terms of quality it is truly unparalleled. If I may make a tip/suggestions. Add a little more herb butter to the baguette, although it is very tasty, the small container is very sparse. Even with economical lubrication you won't be able to make it.

When a table of 6 people spends more than 400 euros and the instruction to the staff is that no glass of water should be given besides an Espresso, then I think the service and atmosphere are only three stars. And it wasn't the staff's fault, it was the person who made the rules.

My husband and I were there on Valentine's Day and were very impressed. The ambience, the service and most importantly the food was perfect. We met the boss, a very nice and courteous man. My husband had spare ribs which were so delicious and I had a steak which was simply perfect. We had a main course and dessert and everything was delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we booked a table again for the next day and we weren't disappointed there either. I can recommend the restaurant 100%! Next time we're in The Hague, we'll definitely come back ;)

Heerlijk restaurant , goed eten , fantastische sfeer en gezellig bediening echt een aanrader. Wij komen hier vaker en ook vaak met vrienden.

1st time there and the last. Baguette with herb butter (flavored butter) is charged per person (4 small rolls). Ultimately, they charge 7 euros for it. Gamba with sauce was tasty, although there was an extreme amount of sauce. Main course mix grill was raw, it was sent back, fries were too salty and you pay extra for that. (should be part of the dish) pricey but enough for 2. Service does its best. You have to create the atmosphere yourself with your group. There is not much choice for dessert. Parking is possible with a blue card. minus point the elevator. Takes a very long time to start moving.

The meat was delicious and of excellent quality. The service was friendly and service-oriented. As a real meat lover you will have fun here. Highly recommended for a meal.

Sfeervol restaurant met fantastisch goed vlees en service. Ribeye is een aanrader. Bediening is vriendelijk en attent, en persoonlijk. Als je iets anders zoekt dan Madestein restaurant dan is dit een heel goed alternatief voor iedereen die zuid Den Haag woont of in het westland en houdt van goed eten!

Wat een geweldig restaurant is dit. Een jong team, maar zeer deskundig en netjes. Mooie en sfeervolle ambiance en heerlijk eten

Ik zou hier niet snel weer gaan eten. De carpaccio was wel erg lekker, de picanha en de mixed grill waren nogal smaakloos. Ik snap de goede recensies hier niet helemaal tenzij je niet veel in andere restaurants komt. Het vlees was denk op de plaat gebakken want van grillen was geen spoor te vinden, als je zou zeggen dat het uit de oven kwam had ik je zo geloofd. De picanha, die het duurst was, was best taai, waarschijnlijk even snel om en om op een plaat gebakken en ook niet laten rusten. Fijn dat er een belletje op de tafel zit om een serveerster te bellen want dat heb je ook wel echt nodig.

Zoals door meerdere hier aangegeven is het eten echt heerlijk, porties zijn ook echt heel goed. Ik ben een grote eter en kreeg het niet op, dus lekker mee naar huis genomen. Zoals ook al door een aantal gezegd niet echt erg goedkoop, maar ik maal er niet om als het gewoon goed en lekker is.

Echt super lekker gegeten, kwalitatief zeer goed vlees, wij hadden de mixed grill voor 3 personen(157€), ik vond de worstjes wel wat droog maar de heerlijke Spareribs compenseerde dat ruimschoots. Er zat ook wel wat groente onder het vlees, lekker knapperig, maar wel wat karig. Ik ben slecht ter been, gelukkig is er een lift maar we moesten buiten wel een steen weghalen anders kon ik er met mijn scootmobiel niet door. Toilet is bereikbaar via trappetje (4 treden) Al met al prima gegeten, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar

Lekker eten in gezellige sfeer. Vriendelijk personeel en qua prijs ook concurrerend.
