A great coffee shop with a decent selection of food. The decor is a bit chilly and uninspired. Also, on Sundays, they were mostly catering to people behind their laptops, which made it less likely to linger at the table. You don't come here for the atmosphere, but for a functional cup of coffee or a bite to eat. The staff weren't necessarily unmotivated, but they also lacked any motivation to do things differently.

Great café in the hotel lobby! Sticky Fingers is part of the Conscious Hotel and is open all day. We had our daily coffee here since we were eating breakfast out. The coffee is really very good. The pastries and cakes are also delicious and fresh. The staff is very friendly and attentive. From 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., coffee is offered for €2.50. This was perfect for starting the day!

Very nice coffee and croissants. There aren't that many bakery options but what's available is nice. The staff is very friendly. They have a loyalty card and discounted treats at the end of the day.

Very friendly service, the pastries are tasty & the coffee is great! There are not many places that stay open until later in the evening.. so I’m glad I found this spot!

The baby shower "high tea" was disappointing. The staff weren't really into it today, and it was clearly noticeable. We had to ask ourselves if we wanted anything else to drink, and we even requested pots of tea for the "high tea" with four basic flavors at the end of the afternoon. The sandwiches were so simple and sparsely filled (cream cheese + 1 slice of cucumber, hummus with 1 piece of bell pepper), the quiche was cold, and the puff pastry snacks were cold. Drinks took ages to prepare. At the end, when a few had already left, it turned out we were also getting cava. So we just took that later. It was a disgrace. The toilets weren't clean. We also sat under a sign with the price of a baby shower written on it in large letters, which was nice for the pregnant woman... What was okay: a fair number of vegan options for one of the ladies, the shop had a cheerful look, and the sweets were okay.

Really badly prepared cappuccino that seemed out of an automatic machine (with chocolate sprinkles on top?). Extremely annoying noise with the door to the street open and traffic constantly zooming by. Girls behind the bar chatting non stop (seemed kinda annoyed to stop to take our order) but can't even bring your drink to a table two meters away from the counter. Also petting two random dogs and not even bothering to wash their hands after going back to preparing coffee.

Sat comfortably on the terrace in the full sun. Cappuccino☕️ was delicious with a coconut macaroon.

It's average. Nothing special, nothing horrible. The "cafe" is part of a hotel, and the staff serves a dual role; barista and front desk clerk (for the hotel). An interesting idea, quite efficient I'm sure. Though it can be mildly annoying when you've ordered an espresso and must wait till the tourist in the other line, to your right, has checked into to their Standard double room (with Breakfast). This priority makes sense of course (imagine you're the tourist, having to wait for some gentlemen's espresso to be served and paid for). Ambience is decent, it's hotel-lobby-ish chiq, including a few cute bar seats that look out on the street, Overtoom. Coffee is so-so, as you would expect, from a cafe-hotel-lobby hybrid. Prices are ok. Servers are nice. Toilets work.

Great staff, i like their hospitality

We happen to come across this coffee shop by chance as we were looking for a place just to sit down and it really exceeded our expectations. It is super cosy and the lady who served us (Marta) was so so sooo friendly and helpful, always with a smile on her face not only with us but with anyone who she served/helped. Rare to find such good service in Amsterdam. Highly recommend.

Perfect late night spot. Dying for a hot chocolate at 2am, sticky fingers joint saved the day. Such a cool vibe to the place. Very affordable prices. You could go here to work, study, meet up with friends, sober up after a big night. When I am in amsterdam this will be a go to midnight spot.

Al een paar jaar kom ik bijna elke ochtend m’n dubbele espresso drinken voordat ik ga werken. De manier waarop ik elke ochtend word begroet is echt het beste begin van de dag. Milou is zo ontzettend gezellig en dan maakt ze ook nog eens een heerlijke espresso. Zoals het hoort, in een verwarmd kopje 🎉Een betere start van de dag kan ik me niet voorstellen!

Highly recommend this place to celebrate a special occasion. The high tea package is amazing. Portion sizes are very large and everything was very tasty with unlimited coffee and tea. We were celebrating a baby shower so all food options were perfect for the mother to be. We were given doggy bags at the end to take the leftovers home. The package also includes a gift for the expecting mother. The space is very easy to decorate and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a lovely afternoon!

One of the best places to get a coffee. However, it's the staff that make it 5 stars. They're awesome ^_^ Also, the fact that it's 24/7 and next to vondel means it's an amazing place to start or end any adventure!

Self-service, they do not serve at the table. It doesn't deserve the good grade it has. Very little sweet variety and no salty variety.

Everyone was busy doing things in cafe was amazing atmosphere coffee unfortunately was made without much effort . Caffe tasted alrite was a little burnt . Food didn’t look very fresh either didn’t try anything but coffee was okay .

Sept 2022 - Great looking shop. Barista's need some training also in speed and organisation. And pastry case was empty except for the vegan part. So didn't get any sticky fingers today. Also the cappuccino was more a latte, almost no coffee flavour ...

The staff here was great - they spoke English flawlessly. Cappuccinos and lattes were excellent, and the snacks were delicious as well. This was our favorite cup of coffee in Amsterdam. Very friendly vibe - we chatted with other travelers each time we came in. Highly recommend!

Coffee and cakes are delicious. However, waiting time can be super long due to the set up: at times, it’s only one person behind the counter to both serve customer AND do the check-in for the Conscious hotel guests.

Great and budget friendly breakfast. Loved the attention to details on the place, and the personnel is very kind.

I am going here a lot just because they have Moyee Coffee, which is a Fair Chain coffee I truly support and I wish it had more visibility in Amsterdam. Another note for the coffee place itself it is that sweets can be a bit pricey for the quantity

Heerlijke taartjes maar vreemde bediening. We voelden ons niet echt welkom doordat we werden doorgeschoven naar het restaurant, waar het vervolgens super lang duurde voordat we iets te drinken kregen.

Yummy coffee but there were only two types of cakes when I got there.

All good reviews are from years ago. Nowadays there are young non-educated “barista’s” serving €3,80 latte’s. I can’t blame their employees, they need to make coffees without properly learning how their machines works. Steamed milk comes “ready” out of a machine. There is one girl that knows her way around the coffee machine, but it is your lucky day if she is working. Luckily there are plenty of good coffee bars within walking distance (coffee & juices or schuurmanoomkensgrassotti where you can get a proper barista made coffee)

Vandaag een te gekke babyshower inclusief high tea hier georganiseerd. De high tea met thee&koffie was uitmuntend dagvers, personeel was zeer vriendelijk, wij voelden ons erg welkom en de gastvrijheid was zeer zeker aanwezig. Fijne leidinggevende en personeel die met je meedenkt over de mogelijkheden. Een zeer geslaagde dag gehad. Heel erg bedankt voor alles

J’avais repéré cet endroit sur Instagram et j’ai tout de suite eu envie de m’y rendre. La décoration est sympa mais l’ambiance est assez froide à mon goût. Les plats ne nous ont pas convaincus, sans relief, pourtant il y avait du potentiel et en photo ils donnaient plutôt envie. Peut être trop simple ? Cependant il faut souligner la gentillesse et la serviabilité du personnel.

Very disappointing! We reserved a table in advance to have breakfast at sticky fingers. Once there, the staff knew nothing about the fact that you can reserve at all. We were then quite unfriendly placed at a table and we were told that there was just cake. We left the restaurant after 5 minutes not paying attention. We can not make any statements about the food. The cafe looks of course visually totally great, unfortunately that is not enough in this case.

We cake here because TripAdvisor mentioned sticky fingers as top 10 in Amsterdam west. First of all nobody was in the coffee area when we arrived. To us it looked like the bar is part of the reception of a hotel. Anyway the person who is going to make the coffee, had no idea what a ristretto is. How to make coffee at all. The beans where used aren’t espresso beans. Too light in taste and not dark roasted. When we paid we picked up our coffees , but no crema layer on the single espresso, a thin crema layer on the double espresso. The coconut cookies were good

Absolutely amazing service start to finish. I hosted a friends baby shower and the staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable day. The food was delicious and looked so beautiful.

I got the red velvet cake. You could tell that it had been sitting there for a while because the cake was dry. It was okay but not really worth the 4€ price tag

Buen café, ambiente encantador y a la vuelta de la esquina del Vondelpark. Mi colega y yo solemos tomar un café aquí cuando estamos de descanso. El barista Dimitris ya nos reconoce cuando entramos por la puerta y siempre está charlando mientras preparamos nuestro café :) Es agradable ver un lugar donde valoran el servicio al cliente.

Leuke muur en toonbank waar je bestelling opgenomen wordt. Klantvriendelijk, goed verzorgd met gratis muntwater. Lekkere maar wel prijzige taartjes. Zitgedeelte kan opgeleukt worden.
