A warm place where you can try amazing Dutch food. Close to the centrum. The waitress treated us perfectly. If I go back to Amsterdam I’ll surely eat here again.

What a find! We stumbled across this little restaurant whilst walking around and what a little gem. The food was Dutch and was amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We got talking to the staff and were there for ages, but it was such a lovely atmosphere and everyone was made to feel welcome. Definitely give this restaurant a try if you in Amsterdam, you won’t regret it!

Very good traditional Dutch cuisine in a popular and authentic setting, bringing together both locals and tourists. Everything was very good, from bitterballen to fish and chips to burgers and beers. It was exactly what we were looking for. But it's a shame that the managers spoke to us a little rudely and were a little cold when we had to change our little one's diaper in the toilet: their instructions weren't very clear and it's not very professional to speak like that to customers, when everything was going well until then... After this episode, they finally became welcoming again, but it spoiled our experience a little. Without that, we would probably have given it 5 stars, because the food is good and the atmosphere of the place is very pleasant and authentic.

You can eat traditional Dutch food. They will also recommend beers that go well with the food. I just showed up without a reservation, but they were very polite and helpful. The staff are also very friendly. The Japanese menu is also available online, so you can have peace of mind.

Amazing food and great value. We had the truffle burger and by far one of the best burgers we have ever had. Service was exceptional we were welcomed as soon as we came in, felt very well looked after. Highly recommend!

What a perfect place for trying Dutch food. Everything was delicious! Every dish that came out was delicious we, a family of five all tried and loved everything. Even my 10-year-old loved everything she tried. Atmosphere was so fun, comfortable and totally recommend.

The restaurant has a great ambience and is very comfortably furnished. The food was excellent and prepared quickly. Had dinner with my family and sister-in-law on Boxing Day. It was fantastic! We arrived an hour early, but were able to join us after a short wait. We had a delicious meal and drinks, the service is very friendly and... it's just very nice to sit! We will definitely come back here again. The lady and gentleman who received us were very friendly and made a great contribution to our wonderful Boxing Day.

Armand is a great host. He welcomes you politely and accommodates your palate needs. It offers excellent typical Amsterdam food, but also takes "excursions" into Italian cuisine (I recommend the ravioli). Enjoy the digestives he offers at the end of the meal.

We went several days because we really liked the staff who are very friendly and attentive and treated us very very well, plus the food is of great quality, everything was very good, the truffle burger was spectacular like everything we ate. We wanted to try Dutch food on our first night in Amsterdam. While we weren’t impressed by the cuisine itself, the dishes were warm and delivered what they promised. The restaurant had a cosy atmosphere and a large selection of beers.

A really nice pub that offers a good selection of beers as well as classic dishes such as stamppot, including a vegetarian one, burgers and other tasty dishes. The staff are more than friendly, the music is pleasant and oldies-heavy. A very clear recommendation.

Great atmosphere, we were celebrating our anniversary trip w some Dutch food. Even though we had ibs food problems and the staff and kitchen was great to help us substitute for it! We loved the hole dinner and say thank you and hi from the Swedish guests that sat outside ☺️ TACK!

We had the meatballs and the chicken skewers with peanut sauce — it was absolutely delicious! The owner, of Armenian descent, was very hospitable and friendly. Despite the challenging political situation between our countries , he welcomed us warmly and treated us to shots, which made the evening even better. We wanted to eat right after visiting the museums and among those we had spotted before our stay was this one. The staff was very busy because the room was crowded but it was very nice and very clean, the food was very good, the prices were fair and the portions were very generous.

Very cozy authentic Dutch restaurant. We tried the Stamppot, which was quite filling and I can definitely recommend it. The only downside is that it is a bit pricy.

DO NOT GO!!! Lunch took 50 minutes to arrive then in both club sandwiches they forgot two of the four ingredients!! Then when we complained they said the chef forgot. Then wouldn’t accept us asking for them to deduct one meal and the attitude of the staff was shocking! They then said they would call the police if we did not pay 🤣

The many positive reviews are more than justified. We arrived (considerably) later than the start time of our reservation due to traffic on the road. But the owner also created a table for eating, very friendly. The food was really of very good quality. Where else can you get a burger for €17.50 including fries and salad? And also really tasty. You have to love the interior, but it has a cozy appearance. Very friendly owners. All in all highly recommended. If you want to eat something (quickly) before going to the theater, for example, I can highly recommend this place.

As a first time visitor to Amsterdam, I wanted to try Dutch cuisine, I was not disappointed at all. Having gone with some local friend for a birthday celebration, the restaurant was cosy, busy and had a great atmosphere. The service was fantastic and the owners did a great job of making it a special occasion. The food was great that even my friends who were local to Amsterdam really enjoyed the food. This is definitely a great place to have an authentic Dutch meal. Would highly recommend.

We ate entrecote on one side and Dutch beef on the other, all with salad and potatoes. Very good quality product. It was all very rich. The staff is very friendly. It took a long time for the service but we assume it was because it was very full and they did what they could. In any case, there is no rush on vacation. They gave us a shot of typical Dutch cookie liqueur, which was delicious. Recommended 100%

First time I was disappointed by Tasos douse! I had years of eating such bad food unfortunately. Nice environment, very friendly staff but unfortunately the food was not eaten. We also found another group of Greeks who unfortunately had the same experience as us in this particular store.
