The food was fantastic, so creative! Only it took too long: we spent 4.5 hours on 7 courses. We were the first to arrive and the last to leave.

Rabbit food had been on our bucket list for a while. We were curious to see what a fully vegan menu had to offer. In short, what an incredibly cool company! We enjoyed five courses with our girls, and each one was a treat. We opted for a non-alcoholic food pairing. The chef passionately explains what he's prepared. A gem in Arnhem 😀 You have to experience rabbit food...

I've eaten it so many times; every time it's incredibly delicious and yet always surprising. Even for non-vegans!

What an experience! We'd eaten at vegetarian restaurants before, but this was different. You could choose between a 5- or 7-course dinner, and everything was vegetarian. We had truly fantastic dishes, and everything was served with a detailed explanation (just like in a Michelin-starred restaurant). Every dish was uniquely composed and tasted amazing. There were ingredients we weren't familiar with or hadn't imagined could be used in a dish. And they try to be as sustainable as possible. It's a truly wonderful experience, and it could be a wonderful experience for non-vegetarians too.

The food was truly amazing, what an experience! Everything was fantastic, from the appetizers, amuse-bouches, and bread starters to the larger dishes and dessert. My absolute favorites were the taco and the gnocchi, but the tortellini and oyster mushroom skewers were also delicious. Every dish was a true explosion of flavors. The oysters were definitely not to be missed. Even pregnant, I could eat everything, and the various kombuchas paired perfectly with the dishes!

Everything was perfectly taken care of. The food and drinks were made with love, care, and creativity. What a delicious blend of different flavors. The venue was atmospheric, and everyone who worked there was friendly and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. It was an evening we won't soon forget.

Negatives: Small and low tables. Expensive water !!! 10% of the bill was our water (24€)... Filtered maybe, yes but still... Just water. Portions are small. Positives: service, tastes, style, flavours. Really good. Very nice place for one or two times experience. But that's it.

Magnificent discovery A charming old building where we were welcomed by a young and friendly team. We discovered extraordinary and unusual dishes, with surprising combinations of colors and flavors. A lot of research and creativity, and pleasantly surprising fermentation techniques. A 7-course culinary journey, with a wine pairing, completely won us over. Bravo!

What a great place this is. Tonight we had a 7-course meal, completely vegan. Every dish was spot on. Nice ambiance in the basement. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Unique flavors.

Yesterday evening I had dinner at Konijnenvoer with my wife. What Fantastic! Incredibly delicious food and especially very special. Special ingredients prepared in a unique way. Enjoyed 7 courses. Beautiful restaurant too and excellent service. We will definitely come back! First save up a bit… ;-) It is more than worth it!

For our anniversary we chose Restaurant Konijnenvoer. I can tell you it was a great choice, because the dishes were made with great care and love and tasted delicious. I don't eat mushrooms in my daily life, but at Konijnenvoer I didn't have any problems with these ingredients in the dishes. Some dishes were as if they were made from animal products, in terms of texture and taste. In addition, the wines matched the dishes perfectly and were carefully selected. What we also liked was the transparency of the prices of the extras that we could order. In addition to the food being great, I also found the service to be really competent, friendly and incredibly hospitable. My compliments for that. All in all we had a fantastic evening with delicious food, a nice pairing and top service. I would say: experience it for yourself, it is really recommended!

These go for a STAR. Great food. Unfortunately I am a barista and this is where every seriously good restaurant goes wrong. Cold double espresso is a real NO GO.

What an experience, a pearl, an example, beautiful location, a warm nest, employees who have a heart for their job and all the attention for the guests, a creative menu, delicious food, also to share in the Antipasti bar, nice choice in wines. Demian and Imane - the warm and endearing owner and his wife - you can be proud of what you have already achieved with this special "Rabbit food!"

We were recently welcomed with full attention in the beautiful old conservatory in the historic part of Arnhem city centre. Since the summer, the concept no longer consists of two restaurants, but of 1: restaurant Konijnenvoer. You can choose from 5 or 7 courses (with or without pairing of wines or without alcohol?) Chef Demian determines the menu; seasonal and as local as possible. The menu is completely plant-based. Various cooking and fermentation processes are used that together ensure a great deal of flavour. Everything is presented on your plate in a very refined and beautiful way. What great creations! The service is smooth, accessible, not too formal, but neat and helpful. We once again enjoyed the delicious food of Demian and his team. We can recommend this to everyone. (We also found the reference to Daniel Johnston on the menu - with the explanation of the chef - very special and striking.) By the way, definitely try their vegan oyster with the aperitif. We are very proud of this restaurant in our city.

Where you look for the pearl in the oyster, this oyster is the pearl in itself. In the foreword to the menu, rabbit food suggests that they are not perfect and are trying to improve. This should say that chef Damian strives for perfection and caresses the senses with colorful layout and tasty dishes that you will not taste anywhere else in a casual ambiance. The price is at a high level, but so is the quality. I'm waiting for a Michelin star rating as far as I'm concerned. Sublime!

Pleasantly surprised by the pleasant service and fantastic dishes. Everything is vegetarian, so no meat or cheese on the menu, but you definitely won't miss that here.

Our culinary evening at Studio Konijnenvoer started in the front garden with a glass of champagne in hand. A series of delicious dishes for 7 courses that surprised the eyes and mouth. A big recommendation for those who like to eat something other than animal.

My partner and I were visiting the Netherlands, when all the restaurants were told to shut due to the pandemic. We had a reservation with this place, so I called just to check. The lady on the phone confirmed the restaurant was indeed closing and was very empathetic when I asked about supermarkets where we might be able to buy vegan food. She then suggested that if we came to the restaurant within an hour, they would put together some takeaway food for us. We got 3 crates full of pasta dishes, desserts, fresh bread and even some cider and beer, at a ridiculously small price. We were completely overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity from the staff and vowed to come back when we're in Netherlands again!

Absolutely great. Delicious food, very surprising. Nice attentive service, warm atmosphere. Beautiful property. Not cheap, but definitely worth the money.

Very tasty food. Tasty flavours

After hearing a lot about the inventive vegan dishes that this restaurant offers, I finally visited the bites bar yesterday evening with my fiancé. All in all, there was a lot I was happy with, such as the oyster, the fried olives and the kombucha were all delicious. Unfortunately, there were also a few major negatives, which I also passed on to the waiter when she asked if everything was to your liking, this was listened to but nothing was really done about it (in my opinion), so that's why I'm sharing my story again in this way. I do this because I am surprised because so much of what is on the menu is really very tasty, and the dishes that were not therefore stood out even more. First the Risotto Arancino, the fried ball of risotto. The risotto was very dry and had little taste, was only a little spicy, I easily make it tastier, I wonder if it was made a little too long ago or the herbs were not mixed properly. The little bit of tomato sauce (which was well seasoned) could just about save this dish, but it undoubtedly could have been better. Secondly, the pasta with frittata of seasonal vegetables. My fiancé ordered this (unfortunately) and we did not eat it. I can't imagine that this is how the chef intended it. Besides the nice type of pasta, the taste was only oil and salt. We hoped to taste the seasonal vegetables, and we mentioned this very disappointing dish to the waitress. It was indicated that the vegetables are cut small in a Frittata, and that is why it tastes that way, and that we do not have to eat it. We didn't do anything else, unfortunately we paid full price for it. Well, the salty & oily pasta contained a few pieces of vegetables so we got what we ordered. Furthermore, no compensation was really made or an appropriate answer came from the kitchen. I now think that because we arrived quite late for dinner, it was leftover from the frittata prep, there were not many vegetables left in it and it was improved by adding extra croutons, salt and oil. Again, this could not have been how the dish was intended, but nothing was really done with the feedback. Finally, for dessert I was curious about the Mocktails, there were 2 possible from the 'seasonal' list and we tried both, the one with walnut and apple had a unique refined taste, lived up to what I expect when I order a drink of 10+ euros. Unfortunately, the Isabel madrugal was also disappointing, the only thing that really stood out in terms of taste were the currants. The smoked agave or corn or mint flavors all didn't come through. When she asked how they tasted, the waitress said that this was because it is more difficult to harmonize these flavors with the alcohol-free variant. But, maybe it should just not be offered as a Mocktail if the recipe is not yet tailor-made? There is still room for improvement on all points, the taste of the dishes that we liked made it a successful evening, but for the price we paid for two people, I don't think that is enough for 5 or even 4 stars. The service is smooth and fast, but as noted before, a bit cold. Atmosphere is not optimal, there was a blue cheese smell when we entered, the entrance is not very clearly indicated. Not very tastefully decorated per se. Clearly still a work in progress. I see great potential for this restaurant and would like to come back again. The reason why I am a bit critical is precisely because I believe that what is offered here and what is going well has great potential to put plant-based cuisine firmly on the map, perhaps even a 100% plant-based Michelin restaurant in Arnhem.

Very good food for vegan food. We were not really satisfied with the wine pairing. The food was good, the wine pairing was a poor choice. There is plenty of space around the tables. Too bad the furnishings, such as the tables and chairs, were very basic. Not ideal for sitting for hours. The service made some mistakes. It was also special that some who ordered beer received a can without a glass. Very clumsy and incompatible with the price range of this evening.

Insanely delicious food in pleasant surroundings. I just missed something in terms of interaction. Your reservation is one-way traffic. You just hope that what you mention as a comment on your reservation comes through. Controls are tight but also a bit cool. We did have a nice evening.

Perhaps the best restaurant in Arnhem. Downstairs you can enjoy a luxurious 5 or 7 course menu with fantastic wine pairing. The food is fantastic (even if you are not vegan - you won't miss animal products for a second) and the service is also great. In the antipasti bar you can eat more accessible Italian dishes, again very good. Also tasty (non-alcoholic) cocktails. The only downside is that the acoustics in the antipasti bar are not that good; on a busy evening I sometimes had difficulty hearing my table companions.

Nice location. Very nice service. Most dishes were delicious. (including the pasta), dish with oyster mushrooms and dish with pumpkin. Very good wines. We find butter very salty. Soft serve was really cloying. I didn't think chocolates were very special. I would have expected slightly more refined food for this price. But all in all we had a very nice evening, partly thanks to the great service.

TERRIBLE!!! The building is way too beautiful. The service is far too hospitable. The chefs make way too delicious food. The chef is way too friendly and the wines are just a little too tasty. Google Maps Review (Dutch): We really enjoyed the special Christmas 5-course menu at Studio Konijnenvoer. So special to experience how delicious fine dining vegan food can taste! This was our second time here, and it was once again a wonderful experience. The restaurant not only offers fantastic food, but also a nice atmosphere. Parking is easy nearby at Rozet Parking Garage, which makes the visit extra practical. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a unique culinary experience!

Had a sublime meal at Studio Konijnenvoer last night. How delicious can vegan be? Really delicious, surprising in taste, great in layout and colors. There is a saying that the eyes also 'eat' and they understand that very well at Studio Konijnenvoer ❤️. First you feast your eyes, then you smell and then taste. Everything is correct! Really delicious. The many different flavors, great. Also the ambiance and the staff. The only thing I didn't like was the wine pairing. Not in taste but in quantity. It wasn't much. But of course you could also say that you want more precisely because it fits together so well. In short, we had a very nice evening.

A warm bath from the moment you walk through the gate, the attractive courtyard, cozy restaurant, the views to the monumental values ​​of the building. Splendid experience in their antipasti bar. Friendly staff and a delicious sharing menu. We went for an assortment of sides and starters which I would highly recommend. The first floor is a great antipasti bar while at the ground floor is a fine-dining location in an old vault. Highly recommend the sides (menu is changing with the season) but we had delicious Spitskol and roasted pumpkin with vegan whipped ricotta. Almost everything is made in house or locally sourced (including the homemade kombuchas).

Did not meet the expectations set by fellow vegan restaurants from Amsterdam and the book they publish that we have had in our possession for some time. Beautiful book by the way. Price level is high and that does not correspond to the quality of the dishes. A big compliment for the choice to only serve vegan dishes. Compared to colleagues from Amsterdam who have the same fine dining formula, the layout is disappointing; of the seven courses, I found four courses tasty. Considering the price level compared to other similar restaurants, I expected more. The service was also not optimal. At checkout I shared my experience and was told that they have changed their concept a few times. I find this concept disappointing.

Once again we had a fantastic evening at Konijnenvoer, this time for the first time after the reopening. The interior is very attractive with natural colors, the old elements of the building have been preserved and beautiful light enters. We went for 7 courses with pairing and we were surprised with every dish by the special ingredients and their unique preparation. Every dish was a taste explosion and we couldn't stop talking about it. You notice that all the staff do their utmost to give you a great evening and that they all have a passion for the dishes presented. This is really a pearl in Arnhem!

Crazy expensive for a nice meal

Delicious food in the ani-pasta restaurant. Vegan. Pleasant service. Nice ambiance. In short, recommended.

At a certain point it became boring to say after each dish that it was delicious again. The only downside I can think of is that the interior looks like it is not finished yet, but that may have been done deliberately. In any case, it shouldn't spoil the fun :). Highly recommended if you really want to be amazed at what delicious dishes can be made with a purely plant-based menu.

Had the best butter and the creamiest risotto of my life only to realize that all of it is vegan. And their mushroom yakatori is maybe the best meat I ever ate, but then it's not. Unreal stuff and the future of food.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful monumental building in the center of Arnhem and has recently been redecorated. During the renovation, old elements were preserved and the furnishings fit in well. The concept has changed, a cozy anti-pasti bar has been added on the ground floor. You can also enjoy simpler (Italian) food there. In the basement you can have a long and very extensive dinner. The business is open from Thursday to Sunday from 6 p.m. to midnight. Downstairs you can choose between a five- or seven-course dinner, possibly with a matching wine pairing. To start with, various appetizers are served, plant-based, just like the rest. The flavors are fantastic, from very subtle to more pronounced. The cooking here is at a high level, worthy of a star. The wines were also delicious, the notes complemented the dishes well. We enjoyed it immensely, for almost five hours! We left the building slightly tipsy and deeply satisfied and will definitely be back soon. With more friends and family!

Visited again after 3 years, this time at the new location. Very nice. This evening we had a 5-course menu with extra vegetable oysters as a starter. Very tasty and surprising. Unfortunately, the wine glasses were sparingly (half) filled, which is something you would like to see differently in an arrangement.

My severe peanut and tree nut allergies were no problem at all. They have adapted dishes that normally contained nuts or peanuts into delicious alternatives for me. A fantastic experience, great staff and delicious food. Recommended!

For the first time I ate 100% vegan. The others were already familiar with Rabbit food. We took advantage of a 7-course dinner which was supplemented with various amuse-bouches. Surprisingly tasty and diverse. Clear explanations were given by the staff who were knowledgeable and friendly. You don't find that everywhere. All in all, it is definitely recommended if you want something completely different and of course super animal-friendly. Worth repeating for us.

Very nice place with top decor. We ordered a plank of sourdough bread with 3 spreads that were all very good and refined. Food was also quite affordable and they were honest enough to mention that 1 plate of bread would probably be enough for 2 people. I thought it was neat. The beer was served in a wine glass and was therefore much less tasty unfortunately. The music was also a bit loud, but that may have been due to the fact that I was sitting next to the box. Particularly enjoyed all the aesthetics.

Today we, my husband and I, had dinner with our daughter and son-in-law in this wonderful vegan restaurant Studio Konijnvoer in the center of Arnhem for the daughter's birthday tomorrow. We usually eat vegetarian food once or twice a week, but we don't dislike fish or chicken either. But this restaurant showed us that you can really do without meat and fish. Every course was a taste explosion and the wines were chosen just right. Our waiter was extremely polite and friendly, he explained to us the ingredients for each dish and why which wine went with it. We had a wonderful and sociable evening at Tratoria 89 and will certainly recommend this special restaurant to others in Germany.
