Good food, but not very special

Easily accessible, cozy, nice service and a tasty, simple Amsterdam snack!

Great place! Perfect for lunch or drinks. Friendly service. Excellent menu selection. We had a lovely lunch.

Don't be fooled by the exterior. The food is truly excellent and plentiful. I recommend the legendary hamburger and the baguette steak & cheese. The staff is truly very friendly.

Paid 19€ for 2 "shrimp" croquettes with 2 white toasts (untoasted), mayo and a few pickles where others paid way less for more. Staff seemed nice, we got a table fast since there wasn't much going on and they had an english menu. They struggled a bit converting the orders back to dutch but it worked out in the end. I pointed to the Vis Plankje for 15,50€ and asked if they also had those croquettes as part of a sandwich. They said sure no problem and I thought since I asked for less than what was part of the Vis Plankje this could cost no more than 15,50€. No matter if this was a mistake or the price for an individual order not on the menu, 19€ is horrendous and I feel stupid for not checking my receipt right there.

After leaving Sloterdijk, you can walk 10 minutes and stop by and enjoy a delicious meal for 10 euros. Their meat sandwiches are delicious. The staff is also very friendly.

Everything was just right for me and my boyfriend:) We where passing by and the smell of the place brought us in :) Also we like the atmosphere,cozy and remind us of our country. We will come again :)

Delicious! Try a burger bun like that. Tip: count your fingers afterward.

Don't come eat here, the restaurant is full of mice, and the manager thinks it's normal. You're eating next to droppings.

Delicious lunch at Westpoort! It's always busy. You can sit inside or pick up sandwiches. Takeaway can be very busy around lunchtime and sometimes you have to wait up to half an hour. The Westpoort steak sandwich or the warm grilled sausage are highly recommended.

Delicious food for a fair price. The staff here still speaks wonderfully plain Amsterdam.

Because the canteen was closed, we went here to get a sandwich. Wide choice and well-filled sandwiches (really large sandwiches). It's not cheap but it's worth it.

Het is hier heerlijk te vertoeven, goeie service en heerlijk eten. De menu kaart is voor iedereen wel wat te vinden, ik kom hier zeker nog wel een keer terug.

We stopped for a small latte macchiato and it was delicious. The staff was very nice. The coffee was accompanied by a small chocolate. The atmosphere was warm.

Wij waren vrij vroeg dus het was nog leeg, het eten was prima, het smaakte goed en de prijs is redelijk. Alleen: ze hebben Heineken en Ikwit op de tap, dat is alles. Dat viel ons als bierliefhebbers tegen. Dus de volgende keer eerst bier bij de prael en daarn hier eten

I was surprised at the quality. The place reminds me of an American Diner, not very luxurious. I ordered a salmon sandwich and I got a piece of fish that melted on my tongue. The bread was just plain old bread, not bad but nothing special. A bit of fresh lettuce and a honey mustard drizzle completed the meal. I'll come here again when I need to work here. Nice and friendly ladies who do their job like they should as well.

This is the third time we have had a party there, so far it has been a success every time. The food is very good and the service is very friendly, highly recommended.

We recently celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with a swinging dance party in Studio Westpoort with 65 people. What a great location this is! The room is very nicely decorated with lots of mood lighting, nice sound and if you can't figure something out, they will do everything they can to help you. Certainly worth mentioning are the friendly and pleasant ladies, who make everyone happy with fantastic service. The price/quality ratio is excellent. Free parking in Amsterdam is also a bonus. In short, we enjoyed it very much. Partly because of this top party location! Our guests were also very satisfied! Thanks for that.

These people have a owner or manager very rude to the client. They give you a menu without telling there is a new and different prices. When I saw the difference of around 10 euros the owner came to say that he has better prices that anyone else. Arguing in very rude way that those are his prices, and they gave us the old menu claiming that we couldn’t understand (So why don’t you explain first that prices has slightly change) It is not the fact I could not pay for the bill because I have enough money. It is the rudeness of the member of staff and manager who presumed we knew about the prices when we were never informed. I would not recommend this place to anyone. People be careful the owner try to be very intimidating and rude!

Top avond, barretjes snel en toppertjes. Alleen diskjockey te weinig Soul muziek. Te weinig mix met Soul muziek. Pfff jammer Geluid werd later op de avond heel slecht.

OMG proper pub grub in the middle of no-where! We accidently stumbled on this place, starving and in much need of beer. Their steak sandwiches are on Aussie quality level.

Very decent place for a lunch, prices are good, food is tasty, hostess was pleasant and helpful.

Nothing special. Remind me if an old truckstop. (needs a renovation) The manager is sitting at the end of the bar over looking every one with her laptop. (Giving bad vibs) Food was not to bad. Service was slow and not that friendly.

Een gezellige en rustige plek. Je kan binnen en buiten eten. Super vriendelijke serveerster. Het eten was oke alleen was de steak iets te lang gebaken waardoor het een verbrande smaak had, de burger was wel heel lekker. Er is parking tegen betaling.

Absolutes super Essen!! Wir waren dort drei Tage hintereinander essen. Das Fleisch ist soooo der Wahnsinn. Super mariniert, gewürzt, einfach ein großartiger Genuss. Baguette mit Knoblauch Öl, wenn es nicht so weit weg wäre würde ich täglich hin gehen. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und schnell. Für mich, ein MUSS 👏👏👏👏 Freue mich jetzt schon, auf das nächste mal. Super Restaurant 👍👍

Wat een toplocatie is dit toch om een feestje te vieren! Wij hebben ons trouwfeest hier gevierd 9 juni. Zowel de communicatie vooraf en de avond zelf, alles kan! De zaal is prachtig aangekleed met licht en bloemen enzo. De bediening is geweldig! Aan drank en hapjes geen gebrek. En ze zijn gezellig en enorm goed in wat ze doen!
