Serious complain !!!!! Dear Team at Restaurant Supper, We, Holland Hoisting BV, would like to file our serious complaints regarding the dinner show we experienced on Friday, December 19. 2025 Due to our subsequent vacation, we are only now responding, but the situation continues to trouble us. What We Booked: Friday, December 19 6 persons Dinner à la carte Table for 6 persons We indicated that there is an allergy to chili!! Our Experience: Table Situation: Upon arrival, there was no table ready, which forced us to sit on the benches. After some time and urging from the manager, a table was eventually set. Show: The quality of the show did not meet the expectations outlined on your website. This was a major disappointment. Food: The quality of the served food was very mediocre to poor. None of our group enjoyed it. Allergy: The specific allergy indicated by our guests was a severe allergy to chili. The consequence of this during dinner was that chili was present in the dish (scallops), despite the prior notification of the allergy. This led to an allergic reaction in one of our guests, causing them to become very ill and necessitating an early end to the evening. Wine: The bottle of Italian red wine we ordered was served at refrigerator temperature. After complaining about this, we received the same bottle back, but it had been heated in the microwave. Costs: Booking costs: € 130 Dinner costs for 6 persons: € 936 Please see the attached bank statement for details. We reported our complaints directly to the manager that evening. What we now expect from Supper is a substantial compensation for the costs. Should we not reach a satisfactory resolution, we will be compelled to leave a negative review on various booking sites.

Not recommended! Supper is nothing like the Supperclub at its previous location. The special, unique atmosphere is completely gone. Disinterested staff and cheap acts (with the exception of the hula hoop teacher). We booked the chef's table = €118 extra for the unique spot near the kitchen for 4 people (?). The chef's 10 dishes were too much. It became a relay race. By dish 7, it was already too much. Too much food! The waitress was a student who had clearly memorized everything. We suspect she certainly wasn't studying hospitality in Amsterdam and was clearly screened based on appearance. There was also no staff in the room, so dishes were left on the pass, much to the chef's dismay. The kitchen staff couldn't move fast enough, and you can feel that as a customer. Like many others, we were back outside at 10:40 PM (arrival time: 7:45 PM). The chef's table was right by the door and cold. Oh yes, the chef was allowed to come to our table to introduce the menu. A real highlight was the bottle of "Moet" with appetizers. The low point was the lobster bisque. I didn't eat it because it was too greasy. The dish was sent back to the kitchen. It was sauce instead of bisque. The scallop dish wasn't fresh. The scallops weren't fresh, and the accompanying sauce was greasy again. Anyway, "Supper" desperately needs to rejuvenate and get back to the vibe of 10 years ago. P.S. I can't believe that 120 euros per person for 10 dishes can be profitable. In short: not worth returning. Faded glory and looks like a tourist trap.

I don't know how this restaurant is still operating. First, the seating arrangement is bizarre, the menu is inconsistent and uninteresting, and there's no enjoyment to be had. Also, this waitress is unpleasant and racist; she only talks to her colleague and neglects the service, which is incredibly slow. I didn't enjoy myself at all, and my time was wasted. I left before finishing my meal.

The entertainment was nice but service took way too long to start. I made my reservation for 7:30 but the first course didn’t come until 9..I left at 11pm. I wasn’t aware this would be my entire evening

Great experience, great atmosphere, but the room was very cold and blankets would have been nice; we asked for them but they didn't have any.

The restaurant supposed to open at 7.30 pm on x-mass eve. It was below 0 outside and we all had to wait outside for 30 minutes. There was no heating provided. Once inside we also noticed that there was no heating. Inside it was around 16/17 degrees. A lot of guests where sitting at the diner tables with their jackets/coats on to stay warm. There was no explanation from the staff when asked about it. Nor any compensation like a hot drink or something like that. The food was great, the shows where great too and the staff was friendly. The whole atmosphere just killed it for us because it was just to cold to enjoy it all. We noticed several guests leaving before end of diner because of this climate. We also left straight after desert and warmed up in the car. The bill had more drinks then consumed. It was corrected when we mentioned it.

Unfortunately, the dinner show on Christmas Day didn't meet our expectations. The reception was slow and disorganized. We had to wait outside in the cold for half an hour. Not okay, if you ask us. We all know how cold it is on Christmas Day... It must be said that the six-course dinner tasted great. However, the room was so incredibly cold that it spoiled the entire evening. We mentioned this to the staff several times, but there was no noticeable change in the temperature. Some people around us even put on their coats. Sheets were also handed out to a few people on a bed. That's absolutely unacceptable! Furthermore, the vast majority of the evening was filled with a DJ. Only four short acts were performed. This was also a disappointment for us. Unfortunately, De Supper didn't live up to the promises made on their website. The total amount we paid for the evening was disproportionate to the experience. Not recommended!

I can’t believe what happened to Supperclub Amsterdam — it’s completely dead. I remember the pre-COVID Supperclub, and what it has turned into now is a full 180° in the worst way possible. What used to be exciting, edgy, and memorable is now boring, tasteless, and disappointing. The food was genuinely bad — overly salted and just “meh.” We didn’t even make it to the main course because we left before it was served. That alone says everything. They advertised the night as a “Christmas Masquerade,” but there was absolutely nothing related to that theme. No atmosphere, no concept, no creativity — just a guy singing Mariah Carey songs, which felt random and lazy rather than festive or immersive. This place has changed so much that it’s no longer the spot it once was. On a scale of 1 to 10, this experience was minus 10,000. We will never return.

Food is overpriced and not good, steak was mostly fat. Theres only 10 minutes total of entertain for a dinner that’s over 3 and a half hours long. Definitely not worth the price plus the club part was dead with people visibly disappointed about the lack of people

Overpriced and awful!!!!!! We had to pay a 80 euro entrence fee that they didnt tell us about!!!!! The food was disgusting and the service horrible. The show was way too short, there was no show…. It was 300 euros without alcohol and when we were walking out of the restaurant we were still super hungry. DON’T GO

The worst experience ever. Cold inside, zero service, no show program, AND! CHECK YOUR FINAL BILL, they are cheating 🙄

On Christmas Day, there were four short performances. The food took a long time to arrive. It was very cold upon arrival, and when it warmed up a bit, they turned on the air conditioning, which blasted through the room at -2°C and a force 4 wind. The music was very good, though. The food was good, but if you choose cod as your main course, it's a 5 x 6 cm piece. Not comparable to the bavette. €700 for 5 people, 10 cocktails, 1 bottle of wine, and 6 courses, so that wasn't too bad. But still, the cold and the poor service were unexpected.

Neither the food nor the service was worth the money. I previously attended the dinner show at Supper Restaurant in 2023, where an additional €80 was wrongly charged for “entrance tickets,” even though we had already paid. It took an entire year before I was refunded. Despite this experience, I decided to give Supper another chance on Christmas Day. Unfortunately, the service was once again disappointing. We had to ask for the menu ourselves, ask if we could order drinks, and even ask if we could place our food order. In the end, we received our first course only after sitting there for 1 hour and 15 minutes. We constantly had to keep an eye on whether they were working on the next course, otherwise we would simply be forgotten. The first three courses were good, but after that the quality declined significantly. The risotto rice was undercooked, and the beef we had as a main course was extremely tough (we had to chew a single bite around 30 times). The cod served as a main course should not even be called a main; it was literally one bite and felt more like a starter. To make matters worse, halfway through the evening they turned the air conditioning on full blast while it was already cold. Some of us ended up putting our jackets on. It felt as though they wanted the dining guests to leave because the club part of the evening was about to begin. Overall, a very disappointing experience, especially considering the price and the occasion.

Great idea and use of the space on a weekday! Pricey but I get it. Food was ….. fine. Overall great date night with classic movies, popcorn, and cocktails.

We went to the movie night on Monday. The atmosphere was really great. Nice beds and you can relax completely. The staff are very kind and take good care of you. It was very instagramable. However, the food was very poor. It was a three-course menu: the starter was beans, followed by sushi (which was not tasty at all), and finally cheesecake. The food was really bad and the portions were small. It was far too overpriced—€138 for two people. I expected much more for that price. The movie also stopped halfway due to technical issues. That wasn’t a big problem.

We had such a wonderful time this evening! The staff was incredibly friendly, and a special thank-you to our waitress Nita 🫶 — she took the time to explain the menu in detail and made us feel truly taken care of. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and appreciated. One small tip: there were quite long breaks between the performances, and the beginning and ending of the performances felt a bit unclear. Especially towards the end, we weren’t sure if more performances were still coming. The food was very delicious, but also very small portions. So both the performances as the food was high quality but low quantity. Overall, we really enjoyed the atmosphere, the service, and the experience. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Extremely disappointing!! My balcony reservation was closed. The performances were short and very disappointing. The food and drinks were absolutely terrible. The minimum amount you have to pay is absolutely not worth it; even half the bill wouldn't have been worth it. Such a shame.

A different type of dinner with show. Request to eat in a normal table if you have difficulty eating in a kind of chill-out sofas.

Went here for a fun evening dinner. I loved the ambiance in the place. The couches were cosy and the service was amazing. Nida was super responsive and really made sure everything was right. The food was okay, but you could get the same quality for a fraction of the price, though the service absolutely made up for it.

We came to the Supper Club again after an amazing first visit back in 2023. We were so impressed the first time that we decided to bring friends along so they could experience the same incredible night we’d talked so highly about. Unfortunately, this visit has been totally disappointing. The food wasn’t anywhere near the standard we remembered or had told our friends to expect. The entertainment also fell flat, we’ve had a couple of singing acts, a hoop routine, and a “sniffing cocoa” segment, but nothing compared to the high-quality performances from two years ago. Last time we had men and women on skates and genuinely impressive acts. This time just didn’t come close. It’s really disheartening to come back with friends, only to feel like we have to apologise because the experience simply wasn’t the same. Whether it’s gone downhill over the last two years or we just got a bad night, it’s put us off completely. I wouldn’t book again or recommend it anymore, which is a real shame considering how much I used to rave about it. So disappointed

The acoustics are awesome, can improve on the lighting. Maybe a better sound system with a little more noise cancelling, would put it up there. Love the vibe always. Staff are nice :)

I had a delicious meal at the supper club! The shows were great, and I received excellent service from Nikhil, and Alida was also very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed it, highly recommended!

Had a fantastic evening at the live dinner show @Supper Restaurant. Delicious food, we opted for the five-course menu, live entertainment, singing, acrobatic performances, and burlesque 😍. The service from waitress Mia was fantastic. The cocktails were also really good; finally, a bartender who doesn't skimp on the drinks 😃. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

What a disappointment. The staff was rude and unfriendly. That kind of attitude simply doesn't belong in the hospitality industry. The food was a real letdown. For the absurdly high prices, you expect quality, but what we got was either tasteless or (like the risotto) way too salty. Moreover, the portions were so tiny it was almost comical. As if no thought was given to what you could expect for this price. Conversation was impossible due to the extremely loud music. And then the bill… Charging an entrance fee (even though it's not clearly stated on the website) for a mediocre show, minuscule portions, and subpar dishes is a disgrace. As if that wasn't enough, one of us got sick later that evening. That pretty much says it all. We went home hungry, disappointed, and feeling like we'd been ripped off. In short: a waste of time, money, and energy. Absolutely never again.

Last Saturday, I went to the dinner show at the Superclub in Amsterdam with friends, but what a disappointment it was. A four-course meal plus entrance fee is a hefty price, but what you get in return is absolutely not worth it. The service was downright terrible. It felt like we were being rushed through the courses as quickly as possible. The dishes looked nice, but the taste and quantity were extremely disappointing. We even went home hungry, which is truly unacceptable for a dinner show in this price range. Furthermore, there was almost no atmosphere. We came for the combination of food and a good show, but that too was a huge disappointment. It was absolutely C-level. Furthermore, the staff was rude, the waiters seemed completely lost and couldn't think of anything to do with us. The dessert (brownie) was so hard we couldn't even cut it with our fork. The price-quality ratio is simply terrible. We expected much more and will definitely not be returning. Be warned. We hadn't read the reviews beforehand. A valuable lesson for us next time.

If I could give zero stars, I would! I spent €780 at the bar next door, promising to be able to go out there... but it didn't happen. Disappointing!

Turned away without a valid reason. Security guards think they're king and don't hesitate to use senseless violence. Never again!

We called and were told to arrive between 8 and 9 p.m. When we arrived at 9 p.m., we were first told the table wasn't available, and then told they had a table, but we couldn't have dinner; we could only have dessert, nothing else! This place is terribly managed, and we don't recommend it at all! Change your way of working.

The club there is absolutely terrible, prices are way too high – €2 for the toilet? Even though you've already paid €25 for entry, and then another €4 for the lockers, that's outrageous, way too expensive & the music was awful too.

Nothing else . No chips no potatoes- nothing The brownie tasted stale and it was hard - the pear compote was barely to be found When you see four courses and at that price you expect to be fed and not feeling hungry Great acrobatics though and the bed was a nice touch however

Fights, harassment and mistreatment! We visited the club last night and had a vip section, but the stuff kicked us out without a reason. Workers are really rude and the security was high.The whole experience was disrespectful. Vip is unsafe, if you are a woman avoid this place! By the way, no young people, only 35+

Easily one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Our group had reserved most of the couches in the VIP area for about 20–25 people, but when we arrived, the staff seemed completely unprepared. They kept moving us around because, apparently, the same couches had been “reserved” for other groups as well. In the end, we were left with only two couches (one large and one small) for our entire party. The bartenders in the VIP area were unbelievably rude. They only served drinks to certain people and ignored the rest. One of them (who’s apparently the club owner’s daughter) kept repeating “get drinks downstairs,” then immediately served someone else right after. The atmosphere in the VIP area also felt very uncomfortable. Two men were kicked out for being aggressive, and another man started harassing his girlfriend… As a woman, I felt unsafe. Many of the men (whom were all older) were just sitting and staring at women up and down. The music and overall setup didn’t help either. The DJ kept singing over the tracks, which completely ruined the sound quality, and getting a drink downstairs took around 20 minutes. Even downstairs, the bartenders ignored us multiple times and the service was painfully slow. To make things worse, the organization was chaotic from start to finish. We were supposed to receive our VIP wristbands upon arrival, but we didn’t get them until 3 a.m. Overall, the experience was poorly managed, unprofessional, and unsafe. Not worth the money or the stress.

It was the worst party I've ever been to. I was looking for a Latin Halloween party, and the advertising said it was Latin, but the music they played was definitely not Latin. Plus, the waiters and security guards were rude, and the drinks were expensive. Everything was a disaster!

The Supperclub is a truly unique experience that goes far beyond a typical dinner. It’s a captivating mix of performance, art, and delicious food, where the lines between the diners and the show are wonderfully blurred. From the moment you arrive, you become part of a vibrant, high-energy spectacle. The performers, from models to artists, create a bizarre and beautiful atmosphere, constantly surprising you with varied and unexpected acts. If you appreciate the wonderfully weird, this is the perfect venue. The food is excellent, a sophisticated and thoughtfully prepared meal that anchors the artistic chaos. The phenomenal cocktails perfectly complement both the dinner and the entertainment. The staff is fun, enthusiastic, and provides seamless service throughout the show. I've enjoyed The Supperclub at both locations. While the new, more spacious spot is easier to find, I still miss the quirky charm of the old front door on Jonge Roelensteeg. It’s an unforgettable journey where dining and performance spectacularly collide. Please Note: This review and the images are based on my visits in 2012 and 2015.

Overall a good experience. One downside was the position of the bed/table, which is in the corner, very poor view, a continuous passage of waiters going to the bar, call to avoid being seated there.

Last week I had dinner at Supper Restaurant and then went on to VIRAL Amsterdam's club night at the Supper Club. We had a delicious meal with entertainment, after which the restaurant was transformed into a club. It looked very chic, and we were well-served from start to finish, hats off! Highly recommended!

Spent three days in Amsterdam and this was the best part. Dinner takes three hours but they provide entertainment the whole time. Singers, acrobatics and contourtionist. At the end desert is served a la body. No photos, just enjoy.

The show with live singer and dancers makes the restaurant one of a kind in the Netherlands. The food was also very nice and all the waiters were hospitable and friendly.

Service was shit. Never got out food. Prepayment not deducted fromt He bill. When we left without receiving our food. We were asked to pay for things we didnt receive. We literally had to fight to get the stuff we didnt receive removed from the bill and even the the waiter acted like he did us a favor. Absolutely horrible experience.

Had the most amazing time at the Supperclub. The food was to die for, the drinks delicious, and the performances. One word. Phenomenal. We were served by three incredible, hard-working women, Nida, Stella, Nina and Alida.The service was impeccable, would highly recommend for a fun night out!!!

Super cool location, cool concept, cool idea. Boring execution; the food was good but not top-notch, the show was closer to freaky than erotic... not a must-see.

It's not clear at all what to do here. The cuisine is very average, there is no show as such, everything takes a very long time. The room is stuffy.
