Delicious food and very friendly staff.

I ate at the outdoor snack bar. The hamburger was excellent. However, for 5 euros, I do expect a better quality bun. The bun was Aldi quality, 10 for 1 euro.

Went out for dinner with 6 people. It was very nicely decorated, and the service was friendly. Given the price of the food, you would expect pretty good food. All 4 of the schnitzels were very watery, far from crispy. The fries and snacks were fine. So, it's a nice place, but don't expect too much from the quality of the food.

After a day of hiking, this was the perfect place. A cozy atmosphere and delicious food!

Had a particularly delicious meal. The meat was outstanding and the fries amazing. Very friendly staff in a nice atmosphere. You definitely must eat here if you are near Dwingeloo.

Friendly staff, play area for children. If it's not too busy, the children are allowed to make their own dessert, which is great fun for both child and parents. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. The mussels were very good. Not a trace of sand means you bought good quality ingredients.

Nice place to enjoy a good meal. It is also a great place to eat if you are on a diet. They still have a real chef here who can accommodate most dietary requirements. Had a delicious meal for a good price.

We walked into this cozy restaurant at 5:30 PM without a reservation. A staff member told us it was going to be a busy evening and that we could still choose between two tables: one until 7:00 PM and another until 7:30 PM. We chose the latter and ordered a medium mixed grill. It was delicious in one word! It was served quickly, and we still had a nice time sitting and eating. Until next time!

What a lovely restaurant with a beautiful menu full of flavorful dishes at a reasonable price. Very polite and friendly service, which had everything under control despite the busyness. Even mussels are on the menu. My wife asked for an iced coffee just the way she likes it; we explained this and it was made absolutely perfect, just the way she likes it. Highly recommended if you are in Dwingeloo.

The egg ball is fine, but if you, as a restaurant, cannot/will not serve alcohol-free beer, you don't count for me anymore. It is apparently even too much to ask to put a few cans in a fridge somewhere.

One of the best restaurants in the Netherlands, amazing service, great food and consideration for my gluten intolerance. I can't recommend it enough!!!!!

Yesterday evening, July 18th, we ate here for the first time. I had a salad and coffee for dessert. My husband had a mixed grill and ice cream for dessert. We enjoyed ourselves. And the service was cheerful. Someone who enjoys working in the hospitality industry. We will definitely come back next time we are here.

Old-fashioned hospitality at this lovely restaurant. Our little son loved making his own dessert. The spareribs are highly recommended, as is the sticky brownie. What I personally really liked was that there was no music playing. Just lovely sitting under the trees.

Henk de Gans wrote a review six years ago; apparently, that wasn't enough. At a restaurant that charges high prices, you should certainly expect something. Garlic sauce that was already yellow in a container was the first impression; the meat left much to be desired in terms of taste, quality, and temperature. Fortunately, the beer and fries were fine, but unfortunately, not recommended for dinner.

The food tasted good and was also prepared quickly, but the staff seemed uninterested.

We had a wonderful meal, three evenings in a row. Something different every time. Everything was delicious. You could order extra side dishes without paying extra; where do you still find that these days? Plates were beautifully presented. Desserts were delicious. Real whipped cream. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

A cup of coffee during the annual fair and the ceramics market. The first time with all kinds of little treats, and the second time apple pie with tea. What an incredibly nice place! We are going to eat there next holiday!!

Very cozily decorated restaurant. The food is exquisite! The atmosphere and service are top-notch. We ate here twice in one week to our complete satisfaction. Our little dog was also taken care of by having a large water bowl placed out for us. Highly recommended!

The food could really be better, what a shame. The asparagus was 'watery' and not tasty, the potatoes reheated, soft, and there were too few of them. The croquettes looked like they were from a snack bar. Way too expensive for this quality.

A real winner, delicious food, friendly service, simply welcoming. The slogan "our house is your home" is completely true, as far as we're concerned. The menus are more than ample, and it's lovely to chat with everyone afterward. The staff has time for everyone, and it's easy to chat with the other guests as well. Last evening we dined at the Hof van Dwingeloo. When we arrived, the wood-burning stove was glowing brightly, and we were shown to our table. The first thing I noticed was that the napkin said, "Our home is your home" (or something similar). That's exactly how it felt; the service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and everything was perfect. The food was also delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

I read that it's been run by new owners for a year now, and they're doing it with gusto👍🏻👍🏻. That's definitely their responsibility. It's nice to see the same friendly host, too. Okay, one small point for improvement. Try the sauces in the kitchen thoroughly. I had a red wine sauce that tasted so sweet it couldn't possibly be red wine sauce in my opinion. Then I got mushroom sauce, but it had 100% mustard in it. Otherwise, absolutely fantastic!

We had homemade spareribs, and they were delicious. Personally, I could have had them a bit more tender, but the flavor was very good. The side dish was sufficient and easy to order. Friendly, efficient service, and we definitely had a pleasant evening. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the food because I was hungry. Oops...

A great place to dine out. It's a cozy restaurant, but what really stands out is the friendly and attentive service. The only downside, in my opinion, is that if you come with four people, you get a single platter with fries, potatoes, and salad, which is quickly depleted. They politely ask if you want more, but before it arrives, our plates are practically empty. Personally, I would order two of these platters for four people, and I'd actually give everyone a small bowl of salad, as they're quite small.

We had two delicious meals. The first time, we ended up here because the kitchens at the other restaurants were already closed. A blessing in disguise, because it was delicious. The second time, we were still able to sit down despite not having a reservation. The food was delicious again, and the wine was the perfect complement. The service is friendly and prompt, and they're not afraid to ask a question when it's not their specialty. Definitely recommended!

What a fantastic restaurant! The best dinner we had while on vacation. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, but what really stood out for us was the hospitality. The service is impeccable: the staff asks at the right moments if everything is to our liking, is attentive to children (making your own ice cream is a real treat, but it demands a lot from a single staff member, who nevertheless enjoys it), and is attentive to empty glasses or any other requests. They don't skimp on an extra portion of potatoes or salad. You feel genuinely welcome and pampered here. As a lecturer at a hospitality program, I can honestly say: this is how it should be everywhere.

We had a wonderful meal tonight, and the staff were so friendly. Delicious food, tender meat. Bread with delicious spreads was the starter, especially the herb-infused butter. Side dishes were superb: apple compote, potatoes, salad, and fries. Pork tenderloin with brie and schnitzel. Dessert: dame blanche and tea. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I highly recommend going there. It's great how you present the menu on a newspaper. We made a reservation for the same day and received confirmation quickly.

A truly fantastic place to eat with a young family. Outside, there's a fenced-in play area where kids can swing, seesaw, climb, and slide. We sat outside, but there's also a fun play area inside for children. The service is super friendly, fast, and helpful. There are several options for vegans, which is fantastic. Great in terms of atmosphere and price/quality

Very nice people, very tasty food, my father had stew and I had pork tenderloin filled with brie. It was delicious. It is located in a very nice restaurant and is also in a very nice neighborhood.

Gezellig én lekker gegeten: de dorade was lekker gebakken en ook de uiensoep en het stoofpotje hebben gesmaakt. Leuk dat je groentjes, frieten e.d. kan bij vragen. Vriendelijke bediening.

Ik had geen zin in patat, en wilde wat afhalen, dus kwam ik bij Hof van Dwingeloo uit. Ik bestelde een halve kip, welke erg droog bleek te zijn. In verhouding tot de halve kippen die ik weleens op een markt haal (dus ook afhaal, en geen vaste keuken), viel dit echt tegen.
