't Middelpunt in Wijk 00 Schipluiden

Cozy restaurant on the Gaag in Schipluiden. We had another fantastic meal here last night with friends, and we'll be back on Christmas Day. We can't wait to see you soon.

We went to Palvioen t Middelpunt for lunch in high spirits. A friendly waitress came to take our order. I wanted the steak, and my partner wanted the warm goat cheese salad with a gluten-free roll. The order took quite a while, even though it was very quiet. After more than half an hour, our food arrived. The steak was burnt on one side, and the warm goat cheese salad was simply cold. So we sent the food back; unfortunately, it was the last steak, and I ordered the chicken thigh satay. It arrived much faster and at the same time as the warmed goat cheese salad. The latter was very meager in quantity at almost 17 euros. A nice location, but definitely not something we'd return. It's a shame that a nice afternoon was a bit of a disappointment.

We had a fantastic morning and afternoon here with a large group of family and friends. The terrace was reserved for us, with coffee and delicious pastries first. Afterwards, we enjoyed a lovely boat tour through the beautiful surroundings, followed by a delicious Italian group lunch at beautifully set tables. The service was also very friendly and helpful, especially the kind gentleman in his green "Rotterdam" shoes.

Impression: You're kind of left to your own devices. You have to pay inside. No one accompanies you. I had to pick out my own canoe and put it in the water while I was walking with a toddler. I also had to retrieve the canoe from the water and put it back in myself upon returning. No help. A little more helpfulness would have been nice, especially if you have a child with you. Cost: Canoe rental was 20 euros total for 2 people for 2 hours. Positive: The terrace is nice by the water, and the coffee is excellent.

Perfect location, name very fitting.

Paviljoen is a business/restaurant owned by a good friend of mine! It's a prime location on the water where you can also rent a boat or, upon request, take a fully equipped boat tour. As I said, Paviljoen belongs to a friend of mine, but even if it wasn't for you, I'd still tell you! Go, experience it for yourself, and you'll see for yourself; it's worth it.

On a sunny Sunday afternoon, we found ourselves cycling through Schipluiden. Feeling quite hungry, we chose a table at 't Middelpunt. We ordered the hamburger, and it certainly didn't disappoint. A large, thick beef burger on a crispy Italian bun, with lettuce, tomato, and two sauces. As a butcher's daughter, I knew right away that this wasn't your standard factory burger. It was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The small side salad was also super fresh and delicious. I would have liked more of it. All in all, it was a very pleasant lunch. The view, with all those cheerful pleasure boats on the Gaag River, was also very nice. Highly recommended!

Great place to rent a kayak! Great stuff and not expensive at all. The surroundings are beautiful and if you make a trip more often there are also several different routes possible. You can also have a very nice lunch and a drink, both inside and outside on the covered terrace. The people are super friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back again!

Bad. pumpkin soup was sticky mush. Sandwiches were so hard (maybe squeaked) you could hit a puncher in the wall with them. So-called warm brie sandwich was cold. The cook just stood there with a phone to his ear. so apparently he wasn't busy with his food. Too bad, but never again.

Delicious chicken sandwich. But why no garnish. Something like a cucumber or a slice of tomato? A sandwich on a large plate. Very bare.

There is a covered terrace on a pontoon in the water. We had made a reservation. Excellent spicy chicken sandwiches.

We went again and it was another party. Because I have to eat wheat and cow's milk protein-free, it is always difficult to eat out. There is so much thinking involved here and almost anything is possible. Big thumbs up.

If I could have given 0 stars I would have. Very very bad service

Unfriendly staff, came with a large group eating, absolutely could not order food. Then we decided to come and have some fries, but that wasn't possible either. Ball tent.

If I could give a 0, I would. Not hospitable, very unfriendly, but above all not willing to serve its customers. It turned out not to be possible to have a drink with a group of twelve. For that reason not recommended.

Nice pavilion on the water. Frequented by cyclists. Tasty menu and friendly staff. The only unfortunate point is that you cannot sit in the sun because of the fixed canopy. Recommended.

This is a pleasant location On the water in the beautiful town of Deflan Schipluiden and the service is good and friendly and the coffee Tastes good, highly recommended

Had a delicious salmon sandwich today. In the open air on the water. And a sweet girl who brought us everything. She was customer friendly.

Heerlijke lunch en een heerlijk biertje

Prima bediening, hij gaf de dames, zoals het hoort, eerst de menukaart, niet te opdringerig, maar wel aanwezig als je iets extra’s wil, vismesje voor de zalm, bestek weghalen als je geen voorgerecht neemt, helemaal goed. Eten ook goed, ze hebben niet te veel zout of suiker gebruikt om het eten ‘lekkerder’ te maken. Ons gezelschap had de zalm, de mais, de saté, en het gemengde vis voorgerecht. Leuk uitzicht, en locatie op hetzelfde water, waar we eerder op de dag, in hadden gezwommen en SUP’s en een waterfiets hadden gehuurd, ook via dit restaurant.

Een van de aangenaamste terrassen in de verre omtrek: op een hete zomeravond zit je hier (op een ponton) op het verkoelende water. Al even verkwikkend is er wat je hier op je bord krijgt. We waren hier voor de derde keer (van een ander bezoek herinneren we ons de gerookte borst van wilde gans) en genoten van een geweldige groentesoep, van gewokte mosselen en van aardbeien met soft-ijs. Soft-ijs, dat is toch iets uit een ver verleden? Gelukkig doen ze hier niet aan de trends mee en serveren ze gewoon soft-ijs, wat een heerlijk dessert oplevert. Uitstekende bediening, sympathieke benadering. Het wijnlijstje lijkt erg klein, maar er is een handgeschreven lijstje met 'schatten' uit de kelder beschikbaar.

Mooie lokale aan het water, er komt regelmatig een bootje voorbij en soms een zwemmer. Lekkere lunchkaart met genoeg keuze.

Onverwachts hier terechtgekomen. Wat een mooi plaatsje is Schipluiden en wat een leuk restaurant met terras is Het Middelpunt. Jong, maar zeer attent personeel wat de boel goed in de gaten hield. Hier geen getuur op telefoons maar vlotte, zeer vriendelijke bediening. Voor ons hondje werd ongevraagd een bak water aangeboden. De lunch gerechten waren lekker en goed verzorgd en de prijzen schappelijk. Het terras is ruim, je kan zowel op de wal als op het ponton plaatsnemen. Het laatste is leuker omdat je dan de vele bootjes ziet langsvaren. Het ligt aan een redelijk drukke weg maar dat is niet storend. Gratis parkeren in de buurt en voldoende fietsenrekken voor de gasten. Kortom, een stop waard, wij gaan zeker nog eens terug!

Na het varen hier met z'n 6e heerlijk gegeten. Mooi aan het water gezeten met een goede sfeer.

Gezellig restaurant. Vriendelijk personeel. Kaart niet al te uitgebreid voor diner. Mis bv een biefstukje, snitzel, varkenshaasje, zeker niet meer van deze tijd. Parkeren niet makkelijk. Fietsen gaat prima.

Wat een geweldige lokatie om een feest te geven. Dat hebben wij 20 mei ondervonden. Het personeel is zo lief, vriendelijk en enthousiast. Het eten is geweldig goed en je word door iedereen daar volledig in de watten gelegd. Niet anders dan lof voor rene en zijn team

Goed bier. ze weten echter niet waar het is gebrouwen.

Een klein paviljoen op het water waar je kunt lunchen of gewoon koffie drinken. Een gezellige tussenstop op onze doorreis.

We hebben er niet gegeten maar zeker de moeite waard.

Echt heerlijk gegeten. Net even wat anders (luxer) dan een gewone brasserie. Personeel ook heel vriendelijk. De kok komt nog even aan de tafel om je eetsmakelijk te wensen. Top!

Koffie en appel taart waren prima ! De lokale taartjes zijn ook lekker.

Leuk! Voldoende schaduw en een heel voorzichtig deingevoel.

Lunchen op de boot aan het begin van het dorp schipluiden tegenover benzinestation Goed gegeten, broodje hete kip, voor schappelijke prijs (7 euro 50). Snelle bediening en mooie locatie. Zeker als je buiten op terras zit aan het water.

Vanavond heerlijk gegeten met vrienden, alles was smakelijk bereid! Vriendelijk personeel. Top, als we in de buurt zijn houden we deze er zeker in!

Happen en trappen, de soep. Mosterdsoep genomen. Een 10.

Heerlijke plaats om als stop van je fietstocht door het westland te gebruiken. Leuk terras, prettige bediening, lekker eten en betaalbaar.

Leuk gezellig terras, onlangs vernieuwd aan het water, lekker eten en vriendelijk personeel.

Met mijn schoonfamilie hier wezen eten. Lekker maar niet bijzonder. Wel een lekkere wijn en bier. De nog jonge ober deed erg zijn best.

Wij moesten wat tijd overbruggen en zijn hier vanmiddag spontaan naar binnen gelopen om te dineren. Wat een verrassing. Heerlijk gegeten en een prima bediening. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding zeker ok. En nog een leuke lokatie ook. Al met al een aanrader. In de zomer gaan we nog een keer terug om het terras te ‘testen”

Maandagochtend 11.00 uur daar koffie gedronken. Zaak nog niet echt opgestart . Eigenaar houdt klaarblijkelijk van veel en vaak roken, ook na sluitingstijd . Overvolle asbak stond nog in restaurant, waarschijnlijk nog van de vorige avond na sluitingstijd. Ook nu stond hij te genieten van een sigaret. Niet echt reclame voor de zaak. Keuken zag er niet echt schoon uit. Wellicht moest alles nog gedaan worden maar ga dan wat later open. Ook was men redelijk onverschillig. Wellicht ook gevolg van de vroege maandag. Zal daar nog eens later in de week heengaan. Misschien dan beter.
