Today we dined with 10 people. It was incredibly busy, and you could tell. We arrived at 5:00 PM, and everyone else was there by 5:15 PM. At 6:55 PM, we finally got our pancakes. The boys were already incredibly hungry. Four pancakes were burnt, one of which was completely inedible. The bottoms were burnt and the tops were undercooked. Two other pancakes were also undercooked and floury. There was also lipstick on the glass of wine from the previous person who drank it. In the end, we didn't have to pay for one pancake (it hadn't been eaten, because the new one took a very long time to arrive), and we had a few drinks discounted from the bill. We regularly eat here with a group, but unfortunately, we've never had an experience as bad as tonight. Despite the enjoyable evening together, this was a real shame.

A truly "old-fashioned" pancake house. Lots of fun. Coloring pages served as placemats, and markers for the kids. There were four of us adults and we also wanted to color, so we asked for markers, which were brought right away. One of our group wanted a second pancake, which was ready right away. A truly top-notch pancake house.

The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. However, we waited for over 20 minutes with clearly visible empty plates and glasses, and still no one came to ask if we wanted drinks or dessert. However, the table behind us was cleared and refilled by a team of three; apparently, you need 12 people to be served. This isn't the first time the service has been subpar, so this was our last time here. Such a shame.

The pancake was hard on the outside, thick and large (not your cup of tea), undercooked and floury on the inside. Also very greasy! Halfway through, I found two hairs in my pancake, completely spoiling my taste. They apologized, but didn't offer any compensation with the bill or anything. Very strange, if you ask me! The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a pancake restaurant: old-fashioned interior and brown chairs that used to be in my grandmother's house. It's nice that there's a separate play area for the kids. I definitely wouldn't go there for pancakes and the atmosphere; it's a waste of money.

Extremely unprofessional staff, gossiping about other guests in your presence. They don't even look at you, even when there are other staff members inside. We were given orange juice full of fruit flies. We were placed next to the bar. Every time coffee was made, a sea of fruit flies landed on our table. The waitresses were constantly having very inappropriate conversations. There wasn't a shred of friendliness towards the guests, only between the staff and themselves. Even though the place was almost empty, you had to shout to get service. I enjoyed coming here for years, but we will never go back and will advise everyone against ever coming here again. It's a shame it was such an ironic place in Apeldoorn.

A lovely pancake restaurant where we had a delicious meal. The pancakes are perfectly cooked, generously topped with whatever you like, and the service is very friendly. The atmosphere is a bit subdued because everything is a bit dated. But it's definitely recommended.

Today we went back from Germany to eat a pancake together on the way. We do that often but this place is downright bad. Pancakes were hard and bacon was burnt. These pancakes seemed to have been reheated. Never had such bad quality. They did little with the feedback. Too bad a nice girl in the service and nice building. A better chef can make something beautiful out of it. Now just advise against eating here. We only paid partially. Too bad there are places like this.

Vanavond(6 juni) gegeten in het pannenkoekenhuis aan de Deventerstaat in Apeldoorn. Die van mij had half appel, half spek, kaas en ui. Ik kreeg direct te horen dat de kok had aangeven dat dit niet mogelijk was en dat er 1 ingrediënt op moest. Ik heb aangeven dat ik deze vaker heb gehad. Mijn vrouw had kaas, ui, spek en champions, de champions en de ui waren verbrand en het binnenste van de pannekoek was niet gaar, erg slecht. Zelfs de beren pannekoek van mijn kleindochter smaakte niet goed. Heb leek wel of ze opgewarmd waren. Vooraf champions met toast was lekker en een kop asperge soep( was lekker), de kom mag wel iets groter, erg karig. Toen ik bij het afrekenen aangaf dat de pannekoek van mijn vrouw binnenin niet gaar was kreeg ik te horen" " volgende keer beter". Bij het bestellen gaf ik aan na het voorafje graag zo snel mogelijk de pannekoek er achteraan, we hebben 40 min gewacht op onze pannekoek. Klantvriendelijkheid kan beter. Dit was echt de laatste keer dat wij hier zijn geweest, we komen hier al jaren maar de kwaliteit wisselt erg, daarnaast is het niet klantvriendelijk en doen ze niets met feedback, gewoon ronduit slecht.

It was very very busy and had not made a reservation. Still found a table for 4. The wait for the delicious pancakes, considering the crowd, was not too long.

Mijn zus en ik wilde een pannekoek eten en gingen dus naar het pannekoekhuis.Na een drankje kwam onze bestelde pannekoek,ik met aardbeien en mijn zus appel-banaan.Na een paar hapjes kwam mijn zus erachter dat hij niet helemaal gaar gebakken was en melde dit bij de bediende.Die ging het bij haar baas melden en kwam terug met de opmerking dat er een extra drankje besteld mocht worden maar van een andere pannekoek werd niet gesproken.wij hebben aangedrongen op een andere pannekoek of het schrappen van de kosten van haar pannekoek,daar werd op gezegt dat de pannekoek al een deel was opgegeten en dus alleen een drankje vergoed kon worden.Wij hebben afgerekend en zijn boos weggegaan.Dus mensen snij eerst je pannekoek door om te kijken of deze gaar is want anders is het weggegooit geld. Al met al is het dus een waqrdelose manier van afhandelen van een klacht. Zo kan ik ook geld verdienen.Denk niet meer dat wij er ooit nog gaan eten.

Delicious pancakes, great cuddly toys for the kids and a nice play corner. Finally, we received a nice Easter egg for the road. Top!

Pancakes were ok. Stew dish was mainly sauce, little meat, but on the other hand a lot of fries and salad. Service is in the hands of a few young girls who are left to their own devices without any guidance. Atmosphere and interior is from grandmother's time, but not quite.

Actually, I have little to say about this attractive restaurant with a wide choice of tasty pancake restaurants. Still, I give 3 stars now that I have already eaten gluten-free pancakes here twice. They are quite on the greasy side and were really better in other restaurants. I think that an improvement in the batter/end result of the gluten-free pancakes is certainly possible. I have only heard positive feedback for the regular pancakes! So for most people it won't be a problem to fully enjoy their meal.

After the MW marathon, we ended a very nice running day with fifteen family members with a dinner at the Pannenkoekenhuis Apeldoorn. Fortunately, we had made a reservation in time and were able to sit together at a table. The pancakes were served to everyone almost at the same time. Everyone happy and satisfied. Delicious pancakes, this restaurant remains our favorite!

We arrived at the end of the afternoon. The restaurant was empty. We were allowed to choose a spot. The decor is typical pancake house style. They have coloring pages as placemats. Very wide selection of pancakes with lots of toppings, we went for the classic bacon and cheese pancake. The pancake was not fully cooked on the inside. Not bad, but not very tasty either.

Advice; Continue to Ugchelen 😉. Tomato soup was just Unox tomato soup. The sandwich with garlic sauce came with some kind of sour-mayo-aioli-like stuff. Normal garlic sauce is used for shawarma pancake. Pancakes extremely thick and greasy... And not properly cooked in the middle. You just have to love... Dessert is delicious by the way! But next time we'll just drive to the Ugchelen pancake house!

De pannenkoeken waren zwart (aangebakken.) En ze zeggen dat het donkerbruin is. 😒Die hebben we teruggestuurd en na een tijd wachten komen ze weer met zwarte pannenkoeken aan. Wij zijn toen weggegaan. De bediening was wel aardig.

Pancakes a bit on the greasy side, 1 order came through incorrectly. The menu states that you can choose from several types of tea, then they offer Earl Grey. You have to ask yourself if they have anything else and they will come with a box with plenty of choice. Too bad. Ice cream was delicious. Attractive place and nice service.

Ate pancakes there yesterday. We had to wait more than an hour. Asked if it would take long, she told the waitress that they would arrive shortly. But then 2 tables with guests who arrived later than us were served first. No apology from the "lady" who allowed all the frustrations of us and other guests to be taken care of by her "young" waitresses. Very bad... Had a day at Apenheul. We still had to drive home for over an hour, the route planner showed a lot of traffic jams, so we started looking for a place to have a nice meal first. After a short search on Google we found 't Pannenkoek Huis Apeldoorn. We called to see if there was still room for 2 people and luckily there was. Upon entering we were kindly received and guided to our table. We noticed that the location was beautiful and old-fashioned. Really what a pancake restaurant should be. We first ordered something to drink and then we ordered a delicious pancake. Fortunately, the choice from the gluten-free range was also large. If we are ever near Apeldoorn again, we will definitely go back here.

Been a household name for years, visited again during holidays. Unfortunately, as some of my predecessors said, some things went wrong. Still, I give four stars. It's a nice place, it just lacks some adult direction at the moment. The will is there. A fantastic place for children, nice, cozy old-fashioned Old Dutch atmosphere!

We have been coming to this pancake house for years, to our complete satisfaction. However, now we have something to worry about. Ordered a glass of red wine. Received the wine in a sherry glass. We asked if the glass was correct, but yes, they have been pouring wine here for years. And when we paid we were shocked by the price... minus point.

Unfortunately, things went terribly wrong with the pancakes. 1 pancake het Loo was ok. but could have been cooked a little longer. My girlfriend's pancake was just not cooked properly on the inside, both the dough and the filling. In addition, the pancakes were not served at the same time, which is very unusual and a bit uncomfortable for a table of 2. It also took a very long time (while it was not very busy). The management doesn't really pay attention either. As others also describe, they are nice girls, but they are busier with each other than serving the guests. They just need guidance. All in all not a good experience.

Great place to eat. Sweet girls in the service, but all very young. They simply lack some guidance and then forget an order, don't come and ask if you want something to drink and are busier with each other than to think that if someone comes to ask for the dessert menu, then also ask if they have been able to make a choice. Half an hour before closing time they are mainly busy looking away from people. That means 8 people missed out on dessert, coffee and some drinks with a turnover value of around 100 euros, not to mention the other customers who were complaining outside...a shame because the pancakes were fantastic!

Na het bestellen van de pannenkoeken,leek het of wij overgeslagen werden,mensen die na ons binnenkwamen hadden hun pannenkoeken eerder. Andere kinderen mochten bij het verlaten wat kleins uitzoeken,die van ons werder geweigerd,omdat ze geen kindermenu hadden genuttigd, hoe zielig kun je zijn.Dat is dus 1 keer maar nooit meer.

Mega greasy pancakes. Pancakes were undercooked and tasted like flour. Indicated this and received a new pancake. This was also greasy and not well done. Lettuce tasted like fish and the pancake filled with pears had onions on it. Unfortunately, we were really looking forward to a delicious pancake... we ended up getting a peppermint at checkout that tasted like glass sex. No, not our evening.
