The food is always excellent. The service is fast, both in taking orders and serving the food, even when it's busy.

I hadn’t tasted ramen this good in a very long time (I forgot to mention the chicken dumplings). The location is perfect, the food is outstanding, and the prices are very reasonable. Thank you for the fantastic food and excellent service!

I had one of the most wonderful meals at this branch of Takumi. Everything including the food, service and the surroundings were somehow better than at any other Takumi I've visited. I want to give a huge shoutout to Kevin, Ella, Marcus and Kalok for making the experience even better. They made us feel at home and even gave us great suggestions for food. I highly recommend the black garlic ramen, and this particular Takumi location if you want to have a nice night out and a great dinner. :)

What a lovely experience to have dinner at Takumi. We had Dumplings to start with which were served in a matter of seconds, the Spicy Oil ones were the best by far. The Black Garlic Oil ramen was a great seal of the deal. Comfort food at its peak. But what made our experience even more special if possible was the service. Our host Marcus was super kind and attentive throughout the whole evening. Kevin and Ela on the other hand gave us the best recommendations and made sure we always had a drink in our hand. You can clearly see the place is managed in the best way possible. Fully recommend! We will be back soon :)

Came for dinner with colleagues and I couldn’t recommend it more! Our waiter Marcus was super kind and brought extra dumplings for free because they took a little longer to bring us food (which btw was like 10 mins so not long at all). Food was incredible - highly recommend the charsiu spicy ramen. Kalok is the manager of the restaurant and he made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. Thank you takumi team for the wonderful evening - we’ll be back soon!

Takumi Rivierenbuurt Amsterdam is a location within walking distance of the RAI. The atmosphere is excellent, cozy, and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. The ramen was, as I've come to expect from Takumi: delicious! The broth was delicious, and the karaage was excellent! Highly recommended!

The vegan black garlic tofu miso ramen was THE BOMB. Wow. Wish I took a picture but I just dug in.

Takumi is a way of life - I always visit it when I'm in Amsterdam, both whwn I lived here and now that I visit as a friend of the city. The noodles menu is far superior to anything else I've had across Europe, and I've been to quite a few places!

Pretty nice experience! A staff called Kalok very friendly, when I use one tissue to put onions which I don’t need, I am not ask but he noticed that and give me a new tissue! Very helpful man and quick delivered even though they are busy. Hope you all have a lovely evening;)

DIRTY RESTAURANT I had a dinner here a week ago and I was shocked how dirty the restaurant was. The lamp shades on top of the tablea collect dust. Also, the staff eats snacks at a cash register. The waitress came to get my order while she was still eating snacks. The communication between staff was also terrible. The food is mediocre, more disappointing considering the price.

I love this place, every year I made 4-5 lunch here and the quality is constantly good.

Always a pleasure eating here, service is great. Food is nice.

Very good ramen and very good service

I had CHASHU TONKOTSU RAMEN & SPICY MALA GYOZA Everything was amazing! Gyoza was recommended by staff, and I would say, that was the best gyoza Ive ever had.

Good ramen , karaage chicken was nice too.

I had the gyo karra curry it was delicious they let us in even tho we didnt have a reservation and were served quickly this place is amazing I cannot reccomend it enough

Really nice ramen! 🍜 - Teriaki ebi kushi shoyu ramen was very tasty, and generous portion - staff was kind and friendly, also young waiters and waitresses - atmosphere inside is cosy, it’s a small place and some tables are too close to each other but the decorations and aesthetic of the place is cool - location wise is a nice area just south of De Pijp - prices are a bit high in my opinion, compared to other places I’ve been to,

Excellent! If ramen is your comfort food, then look no more. Broth was marvelous, rich, savory, and smooth. The rest of the meal was wonderful! The sake was great. We loved every bit of it. Will def come again this week.

Literally the best Japanese food I've ever tried. We had the C5 and D05, and I literally cried over the chicken; it was tender and crispy, a pure masterclass. The same goes for the terryaki chicken and the gyoza! Reasonably priced for the quality and flavors, and there are veggie options!

Both the curry and ramen were delicious! I went with my younger sibling and they were delicious :) The servers were super friendly, and the one who seemed to be Japanese was really handsome.

Great food, very quick and friendly service. It does get loud in there but it adds to the atmosphere because the place was packed. The kids loved the food and were willing try out many different foods. They were fascinated by the Matcha-Vanilla diet ice cream combo with red beans. Great experience!

Really like this location due to their sitting arrangement and views. The ramen was great as always. Nevertheless, the tiramisu was the worst tiramisu I have had in my life. Furthermore, the service from the girl with big glasses was not at its finest either. She was rude and very slow.

Takumi Tonkotsu Rahmen is an excellent Rahmen restaurant. The service was great and the Ramen was on point. We had a vegan Miso-Ramen and a spicey Miso-Ramen and both we're perfect!

Was travelling in Amsterdam and saw this restaurant near by, ramen under 20 euro is way worth the price with good quality of ramen and soup base, tartan ramen and black garlic tonkotsu is really good. J-pop Music in the restaurant is awesome, quite an enjoyable experience. Recommended!

Food was ok but toooooo expensive. The atmosphere is very casual but only one small bottle of water (250ml) they charged €4.2. I had two bottles so paid €8.4 only for the water! Most expensive water ever had.

I haven't been to a lot but several ramen places in Amsterdam/ Amstelveen. Best ramen I've had. Black garlic is my go to and my wife had something with chicken and shrimp. I tried some and it was excellent as well. Chicken very flavorful as well as the shrimp. Nothing overcooked. Will try to stop here one more time before leaving!

Had dinner here on a Thursday evening. It was pretty quiet when I arrived at 7pm but quickly got busy. Menu was straightforward, had English and pictures. I had the homemade ice tea, the chilli oil chicken gyozas, and the spicy shrimp ramen for €30. Food arrived quickly and all was delicious and fresh. I particularly enjoyed the gyozas, some of the best I've ever had. I was worried the food was going to be too spicy, but it was prefect!

service was quick & attentive. they had sold out of their limited top 2 options by the time we got there! the chicken based broth was clear, hearty, & refreshing, but needed the pepper blend at the table (personal preference). chicken was a bit too oily in comparison. noodles had the perfect bite to them. egg was jammy in the middle but cooked on the outside overall a great spot for decent ramen, but nothing standout!

Look, I love this place. On any given day, the food is between great and extraordinary (e.g. I have never found baby corn more than "tolerable," but here it's either delicious or transcendent, depending on the day — and of course, the broths and noodles are terrific). The staff are lovely and super sweet to my primary-school kid (who could demolish a whole bowl of noodles at age 6), and the vegan options are fabulous and well-marked. Great for a casual meal with a kid or friend, also great for showing off non-Dutch Amsterdam food to visitors.

Much better on all fronts than a few months ago. The staff is very hospitable and friendly. Lots of new faces. They are very nice. The food has had an upgrade, especially the ramen. So richly filled! It is now also beautifully served. Beautiful plates and bowls. The music is always great! Recently just a whole playlist from our favorite Japanese band WANDS. Truly AMAZING. We come here at least 2-3 times a month. And in recent weeks even weekly.

We eat here often on cold days. Not only is the food delish but they are very consistent on food tastyness and friendly service.

Great ramen and nice atmosphere

This place hit the spot after a cool, rainy morning. I wanted something comforting & warming so I decided to stop in. I was not disappointed. I had the tonkotsu ramen & cleaned the bowl. They had a steady flow of customers while I was there. I dined solo & they have window bar seats so you don't have to feel awkward in a table of 2 or 4.

The taste is authentic Japanese ramen, and the soup is not sloppy, but it's a pity that the amount of noodles is too small.

Small, warm and rhythmically decorated — this ramen shop doesn't feel like a place where you eat quickly, but like a place where you take a moment to pause. The broth was deep and rich, the noodles perfectly balanced. Everything on the table was correct without emphasis. The service was friendly and calm, just at the right time. For those who want to eat with attention, without frills — this is an address that will stay with you.

Best ramen I ever had in Netherlands

Some of the best ramen I have had since Tokyo. All the food is very authentic. The broth is amazing. Quite a menu in terms of authentic Japanese food.

good ramen but a bit pricey 🕺🕺🕺 got the tan tan men and it was not bad, wished the broth was a bit thicker. i loved the gyoza though! regret not trying the matcha ice cream 🍨

Oh my goodness! Delicious! I'm pretty sure they put Tabasco in my Ramen to make it spicy but I'm not even mad, I added some chili oil to kick it up a notch. But so gooooodddd

Cozy ramen spot! Ramen was good and staff was super friendly, we didn't need to wait long to get orders. I definitely recommend this place! If you have bigger group you can call them for reservation.

We had dinner for 2 and we took the ebi spicy ramen and chicken rice and curry also the starters was really great we had the gyoza and the takoyaki and a few more starters Desserts was also really nice pistachios tiramisu and the ice cream everything came in really nice amounts and fast on the table really nice place in the neighborhood nice that more people will know about that I’m highly recommending for people who like ramen and bites Will come back soon.

Sat down with some friends after a conference. The staff did everything to make our group comfortable, from the ordering process til paying our bill. The food is good: the mala chasu was just alright, though I loved that they have different toppings like pickled ginger to cut through the fatty broth. Unfortunately, the drinks are really expensive so that takes a bit away from the experience. All in all, a fine place to get food, with great service and a nice ambience

The ramen was OK but they did that scammy rip-off thing of charging for still water when you ask for tap. €4.20 and the bottle comes out from the kitchen the already opened. Server refused to take the charge off the bill when I questioned it. Real tourist trap behaviour. I'd go elsewhere.

Honestly some of the best ramen I have ever had. Immediately greeted by the waiter, very polite. Food came really quickly and tasted so fresh omg I can’t explain how good this place is. I found them by clicking “top rated” when searching for restaurants in the area and they did not disappoint 🩵🩵🩵
