Great food, very quick and friendly service. It does get loud in there but it adds to the atmosphere because the place was packed. The kids loved the food and were willing try out many different foods. They were fascinated by the Matcha-Vanilla diet ice cream combo with red beans. Great experience!

Really like this location due to their sitting arrangement and views. The ramen was great as always. Nevertheless, the tiramisu was the worst tiramisu I have had in my life. Furthermore, the service from the girl with big glasses was not at its finest either. She was rude and very slow.

Takumi Tonkotsu Rahmen is an excellent Rahmen restaurant. The service was great and the Ramen was on point. We had a vegan Miso-Ramen and a spicey Miso-Ramen and both we're perfect!

The Sapporo char siu ramen was really delicious.

Was travelling in Amsterdam and saw this restaurant near by, ramen under 20 euro is way worth the price with good quality of ramen and soup base, tartan ramen and black garlic tonkotsu is really good. J-pop Music in the restaurant is awesome, quite an enjoyable experience. Recommended!

Food was ok but toooooo expensive. The atmosphere is very casual but only one small bottle of water (250ml) they charged €4.2. I had two bottles so paid €8.4 only for the water! Most expensive water ever had.

You can feel it’s a chain. Food doesn’t feel authentic. Service was really good though!

I haven't been to a lot but several ramen places in Amsterdam/ Amstelveen. Best ramen I've had. Black garlic is my go to and my wife had something with chicken and shrimp. I tried some and it was excellent as well. Chicken very flavorful as well as the shrimp. Nothing overcooked. Will try to stop here one more time before leaving!

Had dinner here on a Thursday evening. It was pretty quiet when I arrived at 7pm but quickly got busy. Menu was straightforward, had English and pictures. I had the homemade ice tea, the chilli oil chicken gyozas, and the spicy shrimp ramen for €30. Food arrived quickly and all was delicious and fresh. I particularly enjoyed the gyozas, some of the best I've ever had. I was worried the food was going to be too spicy, but it was prefect!

service was quick & attentive. they had sold out of their limited top 2 options by the time we got there! the chicken based broth was clear, hearty, & refreshing, but needed the pepper blend at the table (personal preference). chicken was a bit too oily in comparison. noodles had the perfect bite to them. egg was jammy in the middle but cooked on the outside overall a great spot for decent ramen, but nothing standout!

Look, I love this place. On any given day, the food is between great and extraordinary (e.g. I have never found baby corn more than "tolerable," but here it's either delicious or transcendent, depending on the day — and of course, the broths and noodles are terrific). The staff are lovely and super sweet to my primary-school kid (who could demolish a whole bowl of noodles at age 6), and the vegan options are fabulous and well-marked. Great for a casual meal with a kid or friend, also great for showing off non-Dutch Amsterdam food to visitors.

Much better on all fronts than a few months ago. The staff is very hospitable and friendly. Lots of new faces. They are very nice. The food has had an upgrade, especially the ramen. So richly filled! It is now also beautifully served. Beautiful plates and bowls. The music is always great! Recently just a whole playlist from our favorite Japanese band WANDS. Truly AMAZING. We come here at least 2-3 times a month. And in recent weeks even weekly.

We eat here often on cold days. Not only is the food delish but they are very consistent on food tastyness and friendly service.

Great ramen and nice atmosphere

This place hit the spot after a cool, rainy morning. I wanted something comforting & warming so I decided to stop in. I was not disappointed. I had the tonkotsu ramen & cleaned the bowl. They had a steady flow of customers while I was there. I dined solo & they have window bar seats so you don't have to feel awkward in a table of 2 or 4.

The taste is authentic Japanese ramen, and the soup is not sloppy, but it's a pity that the amount of noodles is too small.

Small, warm and rhythmically decorated — this ramen shop doesn't feel like a place where you eat quickly, but like a place where you take a moment to pause. The broth was deep and rich, the noodles perfectly balanced. Everything on the table was correct without emphasis. The service was friendly and calm, just at the right time. For those who want to eat with attention, without frills — this is an address that will stay with you.

Best ramen I ever had in Netherlands

Some of the best ramen I have had since Tokyo. All the food is very authentic. The broth is amazing. Quite a menu in terms of authentic Japanese food.

Delicious ramen, very tasty gyoza. Friendly staff, nicely decorated restaurant. A bit tight, but that has something to do with it. Best ramen place in Amsterdam so far.

Oh my goodness! Delicious! I'm pretty sure they put Tabasco in my Ramen to make it spicy but I'm not even mad, I added some chili oil to kick it up a notch. But so gooooodddd

Cozy ramen spot! Ramen was good and staff was super friendly, we didn't need to wait long to get orders. I definitely recommend this place! If you have bigger group you can call them for reservation.

We had dinner for 2 and we took the ebi spicy ramen and chicken rice and curry also the starters was really great we had the gyoza and the takoyaki and a few more starters Desserts was also really nice pistachios tiramisu and the ice cream everything came in really nice amounts and fast on the table really nice place in the neighborhood nice that more people will know about that I’m highly recommending for people who like ramen and bites Will come back soon.

Sat down with some friends after a conference. The staff did everything to make our group comfortable, from the ordering process til paying our bill. The food is good: the mala chasu was just alright, though I loved that they have different toppings like pickled ginger to cut through the fatty broth. Unfortunately, the drinks are really expensive so that takes a bit away from the experience. All in all, a fine place to get food, with great service and a nice ambience

The ramen was OK but they did that scammy rip-off thing of charging for still water when you ask for tap. €4.20 and the bottle comes out from the kitchen the already opened. Server refused to take the charge off the bill when I questioned it. Real tourist trap behaviour. I'd go elsewhere.

Honestly some of the best ramen I have ever had. Immediately greeted by the waiter, very polite. Food came really quickly and tasted so fresh omg I can’t explain how good this place is. I found them by clicking “top rated” when searching for restaurants in the area and they did not disappoint 🩵🩵🩵

As with every Takumi, you can also eat delicious ramen here! The side dishes are also great! It is a cozy and cozy restaurant in a nice location. You'll feel like you're in Japan! Enough parking nearby. Along the street and at the RAI.

Good ramen. Was much better but menu and dishes changed and it is now quite expansive and the content of the dishes smaller and not as varied as before. The fact they serve more than Ramen is nice, so if you feel like rice and chicken it's available for you. This place is also very noisy and busy so be ready for that. Service was good even if not always kind.

It just tastes like Japanese ramen, slightly different from the authentic Japanese ingredients, but delicious~ The fried dumplings are also very delicious, even better than the Japanese king dumplings. Highly recommend~ I finished the ramen so quickly that I forgot to take a photo~

It looks so cool. The music is great. The wakame salad is amazing. The spicy miso ramen with tempura prawns was THE BEST THING EVER. Gyozas were fresh and class flavour and texture.

Good place to eat for a company of one on a Saturday afternoon. The vegan miso ramen would've been worth it if it cost 5 euros tops. Barely any flavor. The staff was very nice.

Went here to have lunch, food was as expected of takumi. Though a bit surprised that they didn't had cha siu as a topping.

Service was great as the waiters were all friendly and food served promptly. Ramen was as good as an European OEM. Egg and soup was good, Yakibuta a bit hard. It is not fair to compare with ramen in Japan so I would give 4 stars as for the service and vibe.

Very tasty ramen. It's a pretty small restaurant and we were lucky to spontaneously get a seat for two people on Friday evening, so it's better to reserve in advance. Nothing to drink was offered after the meal, but the table was immediately reoccupied after we got up to leave.

After a long day at work we decided to go at Takumi for dinner. After waiting for more than 35min for our order (outside), we asked and only then told that our order had not been processed. On our way to leave, our dishes finally arrived and the manager was kind enough to offer us a drink. We ordered only one sparkling water to find out later that we had been charged for it 🤦🏻‍♀️. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a chill evening turned out to be a kind of disappointment… the ramen was ok, at least enough to warm us after the long waiting. The vegan tofu ramen tasted a bit too oily from the frying but the chicken one was good.

Ramen was excellent, rich taste, good side dishes. Had dumplings and takoyaki! Would recommend the spicy option!

Didn't like it. We reserved a table for five. When we arrived, they seated us in a very claustrophobic spot in the corner by the window, adding an extra chair to an already small table for four. It was very hot inside, which is not ideal when eating ramen. We ended up moving outside. My husband and our friend received the wrong ramen. My husband ordered a very spicy one (for which we paid an extra €1.20) but got a regular one instead. I had soba with gyoza: the gyoza were tasty, but I really didn't like the vegetables in the soba. We ordered a chicken and gyoza set for our daughter, asking in advance if there was any sauce. The food was served in a small bowl with sauce, something like mayonnaise, and kimchi right on top of the rice. We then had to wait a long time for an empty plate to set aside the parts our daughter couldn’t eat. We liked the same restaurant in The Hague much more.

I have been here once with my family. To eat: The food was delicious, tasty and the portions were good. Also wide choice and something for everyone. Nothing special to complain about the food. Service: Staff was a little awkward and many did not speak Dutch, but it was not a big problem and nothing went wrong. Realm: Restaurant has a very normal atmosphere. No special experience in this area. Another restaurant that is also part of the Takumi Family is Umaimon and if I were to choose one of the two, I would prefer Umaimon.

ate alone and ordered the teriyaki curry. the food was very good and filling. the staff was kind and attentive and very efficient at bringing out my order. the overall ambiance in the afternoon was relaxing. lots of shops nearby so it’s a good place to stop but if you’re in the area.

To be honest, I do not think I need to review this restaurant as it is loved by the local people already, I can see. Just write here to appreciate having proper Japanese ramen while travelling. It has another branch in Amsterdam city centre. I went there as we wanted to go the main branch again but didn’t have time. The service there was pretty good as well as the atmosphere but the food is better in this branch. Loved it!

Takumi locations are well known to have top quality ramen soup with other mouth-watering japanese dishes also available. Good stuff no matter what you order, great portions that are sure to fill you up. Priced accordingly, though I assure you it's well worth the price. If you found anything wrong with the service, i'd say it was probably just a bad day, as we've been here many times and the staff is always great. Fast, kind, asking if you need anything. And, always with a smile on their face as a bonus. :) The place is rather small, so you might experience a queue during busy hours. Overall, this is definitely worth a stop if you are a fan of japanese food, and definitely a great first try if this is your first time experiencing japanese cuisine. And at last, thank you Takumi staff!

Yakitori & fried shrimp to start, teri yakisoba & gyo-kara yakisoba för mains. All fresh, hot & tasty, served fast enough we were still munching the starters when the entrees came. Little side salad was good, miso was a little bland but still worked its magic. Very cool staff, focused on keeping you happy during the visit.

It's like Takumi in Ddorf or Dortmund. Unfortunately there was no TanTanMen Ramen here. Otherwise very good.
