Tasty! Korean fried chicas and milkshake banana-peanut butter are my favourite!

Turns out this restaurant has the most misleading name of all time ‘taste like chicken’ because it IS chicken, their menu is predominately ‘plant based’ and then if you’re not careful (like us, who thought this was a totally meat free place due to its name and its categorization on delivery apps) ordered real dead animal, which is quite horrible given we’ve not intentionally eaten meat in over 10 years. So vegans / veggies be wary. The marketing of this place is dishonest at best.

Amazing food, great prices. The Korean tenders were unreal! Couldn't recommend higher, would give more stars if it was possible to.

Really nice food and the restaurant itself looks amazing! The menu is very diverse and everything is freshly made. You can choose between real or plantbased chicken. You can not tell which is which, it is that good!

i came in two nights ago with my friends and from what i can recall the burger was delicious but i was having a really bad trip and the staff was very nice and helpful and again i am so sorry 😭

Ordered on Uber Eats only to wait over an hour then they cancelled the order. Avoid them and this horrible customer service. Many other vegan restaurants in Amsterdam who deserve your business.

The staff was very kind. You can order the same menu both vegan and chicken. We preferred the chicken version. Boneless bucket and o.g. chicken burger were very successful. definitely recommend. thanks!

I am delighted with my experience! The food was fantastic, staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was upbeat. I ordered the Spice Girl burger with a meal upgrade to include a strawberry shake, and I was not disappointed.

I like everything about this place. The chicken sandwich was one of the best I had anywhere in the world. It was absolutely delicious. The truffle mushroom sauce complimented my French fries well. The chicken strips are also very tender and crispy. The sexy salad is absolutely delicious. The staff was very kind and patient. And the atmosphere was very upbeat. I loved the secret disco room in the back. I highly recommend this place and would go back.

It did taste like chicken! Also cashier was extremely sweet and friendly, suggested us sauces and etc and the order was packed immaculately, we really enjoyed our meal. Good portion. Price quality was top. Pd: my favourite were the chicken wings, the texture really was like wings, never had some like that. Truly delicious!

I had the truffle burger menu – the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. The meal was prepared quickly too. This isn’t the place for long, relaxed dining, but perfect if you’re looking for a tasty bite and then heading out

Cool decor! Burgers are delicious and a bit different to usual vegan burgers! Shame about the extra charge for just basic sauces. At same time portion of fries were super generous (can easily share between two)

Having lived in LA (where there are loads of vegan options), I can truly say this is one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve ever been to! Such a variety of food options, friendly staff, and a beautiful space. Can’t wait to recommend this to friends and family and return! Also, the ice cream is incredible.

No longer vegan only. Will start serving "real" chicken in their new menu as of next week.

Unfortunately the food was nothing special. It is not better than what you can buy at a supermarket. I had the fried bowl and was completely overpriced.

Wow, I would not be able to see the difference with real chicken! Very nice vegetarian alternative without having the feeling you eat a vegetarian dish. I'm a real meat lover, so vegetarian would not even be my first choice. The "Spice Girl" burger meal I can reccommend.

The place looks really nice and well put together. I had the ‘Spice Girl’ burger—tasted great, and the salad (‘sexy salad’) was super fresh too. Everything felt thoughtful and clean. Definitely a good spot if you’re into vegan food. Im not vegan myself but loved it.

The service was great and my food was ready quickly, despite the fact that the place was very busy. I had been looking for an alternative to meat for some time, and in my opinion this is the perfect alternative. Moreover, the food was super delicious. Definitely worth repeating!

Taste Like Chicken (but vegan!) Wow! What a surprise Taste Like Chicken was! You expect chicken, but you get a 100% plant-based flavor explosion that is just as good as the original. The structure, the seasoning, the bite — everything is right. Perfect for anyone who wants to eat consciously without sacrificing taste. The promising name unfortunately does not deliver. While still pretty nice, the vegan nuggets don’t have much of a chicken taste to them, and the cheesy condiment has a pretty off texture. Service was delightful. A nice affordable stop for vegan folks, but as a meat eater, I wouldn’t say it tastes like chicken

First of all: the design of this place is on point. The shop, inside and outside, is so pleasing to the eye, it just makes you want to walk in right away. The packaging also looks so neat. Second: especially with the milkshake (milkfake) and mayonaise with the fries, you simply cannot tell the difference between vegan and non-vegan. That alone I thought was impressive. With the O.G. burger, I think I could tell it was not real chicken, but it is really tasty nonetheless and, in my opinion, much better than all the other vegan/vegetarian options I tried (like Vegan Junk Food Bar). The cheese sauce with the vegan chicken is a good combination. If you're vegan/vegetarian and craving a burger, this is as far as I can tell the best option out there. Oh yeah, and the owner was really nice, you can tell he really cares for this place!

Tastes like Chicken, how dearly I’ve missed you! I was pleasantly surprised that after a year without my beloved, this tasty vegan spot is back and better than ever! I can’t recommend this spot enough-friendly staff, DELICIOUS food, and a cozy atmosphere as well! I always go for the chicken and waffles and a chocolate Oreo shake as well, and I have yet to find someone who hasn’t enjoyed it! Thank you to the new owners who have brought back this well-loved spot, and I look forward to returning again!

Take this review seriously as someone who is not a vegan. We were their first customers upon reopening and the taste/flavor is unmatched. I’m eating the food and have to be reminded that this is not chicken. My body felt better after eating it, I felt lighter and without any bloat. It felt like I was eating “clean”. My digestive system felt better. I had doubts about vegan food but all doubts have left now that I’ve had their food. To the owners I must say, expect me back.

Wow! You can tell they have really taken a lot of time to perfect their recipes. I enjoyed the Korean Fried Chicken dish so much I ordered some Popcorn Chicken even though I wasn’t really that hungry. The Peach Habanero sauce was 10 out of 10. Guys were super nice, loved the interior. Can’t wait to go back!

Almost everyone will find something in this restaurant. There are many different dishes from different cultures and the food is super delicious. Everything was fresh, the cheese sauce tasted great and my otherwise "non-vegan" companion (haha) was also thrilled with the taste. I particularly liked the burrito. In addition, the store is aesthetically decorated, the couch is extremely comfortable and the service was friendly.

We finally went to TLC and it didn’t disappoint at all. Cliché but it really tasted like chicken as advertised. We were warmly greeted on entering the place, which had an American diner feel to it. The wait staff was helpful with suggestions and explanations about the choices. We had a burger, the koren chicken option, party fries and a milkfake. The food was phenomenal!! We were amazed at how much it tasted like chicken that I had to check if it really was plantbased. The sauces and spices were spot-on too! We will surely visit again soon.

It's a small place, unfortunately you can't make reservations. The food is pricey, but for vegan food it is really tasty and definitely worth eating there once. There is a kind of secret room at the back, if you are lucky you can sit there. They have purple lemonade which tastes like cherry/cola like candy, very tasty and it's not so sweet that you can feel it breaking your teeth. The veggie chicken nuggets are really tasty, as are the fries! The people there are always very nice and will also help you order if you don't know what to do

Contant betalen niet mogelijk. Bij het betalen werd er op het scherm al om een fooi gebedeld, nog voordat ik het eten kon ervaren. Houd deze cultuur van fooien alstublieft aan de andere kant van de oceaan. Eten was oké behalve dat er bevroren stukjes bij zaten, wat tot 2x toe gebeurde. De burger vond ik geen aanrader, de sausjes wel. De sfeer is knus en leuk. Hopelijk kan de uitbater hiervan leren, want het concept is een mooie zaak.

Het eten was echt super top! Ook was de sfeer super leuk en gezellig😊 en wat niet mag ontbreken was het personeel, het personeel was ook super aardig en klantvriendelijk! Echt een aanrader om hier heen te gaan

Ik heb hier heerlijk gegeten. Elk gerecht is met zorg bereid. Goede service. Mooie locatie. Maak zeker gebruik van the secret room waar je met je vrienden kunt eten. Ongestoord en met muziek erbij. Wel reserveren van te voren.

Mooie plek en aardig personeel. Ik bestelde alleen een milkfake maar die viel helaas tegen want ik kreeg de eerste slok al niet binnen want m’n rietje zat verstopt met pindakaas.. die was totaal niet vermengd met de milkfake, wat ik eigenlijk wel zou verwachten. Dus heb het maar met een lepel gegeten. Jammer.

PERFECT voor iedereen. Vegetarisch maar tegelijkertijd is het ook een top tent voor de kipliefhebber. Het smaakt namelijk als echte kip 🤩 Daarnaast goede service en leuke medewerkers

Das "Fleisch" schmeckt wie echtes Fleisch und das Essen allgemein war super lecker und auch sehr Preiswert. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett drauf. Die einzige Enttäuschung war der "spezial-Raum", dieser Raum ist sehr klein und nicht sonderlich bequem

It really does taste like chicken! The vegan chicken is perfect and for anyone with a nut allergy like me everthing is nut free (except for some deserts) which is perfect!! The admosphere is super nice and the staff is so friendly.

Had a blast with (some non-vegan!) friends in the secret burger room! The Korean Bae is very tasty and I really liked the banana peanut fakeshake. Let's not pretend it's healthy but you can snack here deliciously and vegan at least. Staff is nice, too. Recommended!
