TEN good food cafe in Museumkwartier

You charge €5.80 for a chai latte—okay, it's Amsterdam, what do you expect?—but then the chai latte is seriously subpar and has no foam. And you charge an extra 80 cents for oat milk. Nope.

It's a cafe inside a city museum, but the entrance is a little small so it was hard to find, but the staff was friendly and provided professional service. .. I only had drinks, so I'll skip the menu review.

Overpriced, got an wrong bill, seats are crap.

We had a very nice couple of soups and a salad. Everything was well prepared and well presented. Our service was very quick and very friendly.

Excellent flat white, delicious tomato soup and richly topped avocado toast. Fine catering establishment where I would like to come back. Prices are Amsterdam but then you get what you pay for.

The dishes are very worn! Instead of coffee cups and saucers, they use ordinary glasses, which are neither aesthetically pleasing nor convenient!

Very good customer service, friendly and quick, the tomato soup was absolutely amazing and so was the bread. Very much enjoyed having lunch here.

The Apple pie was justru excellent, along side combined with the cappucino. Also the services by the waiters was so warmth while rainy outside the cafe yesterday. Btw, I wonder. Did I leave the Animo tumbler there? Thanks.

Very touristy area and prices appropriate to the tourist environment. Average quality food, it's extremely expensive, a slightly chaotic place when it comes to being served. It has gluten-free and vegetarian options.

Was really delicious coffee and apple pie 🥧 it came with a discount too, so we were really happy 😁 good place for working with computer ( if only you don't need to talk as there is music here but really good one), next to Van Gogh museum and others so really good location 👌🏼

A very mediocre place with an extremely high price tag. Yes, you can expect high prices for somewhere in such a touristic area but really…€18 for 6 bitterballen and 6 mini loempia that taste exactly like what I can buy frozen from the supermarket? Coffee was also average at best with again a high price tag just like everything on the menu. Service is not that good either unfortunately….next time I would avoid!

Waste of time. Waited for almost 20 minutes, nobody came, no menu was brought. Half tables were empty, they said they were busy (?) . We made them less busy and left

Useless. Come in, "Take a seat" sign at the entrance. Sit by the window in the sun. Ready to order. The young man comes to tell us we weren't allowed to sit there. Not even in another spot near the window. No, it had to be indoors in the shade. Reason: we don't serve here. 🤨 Just left and didn't respond to the rehearsed sarcastic sentence from the "Customer Friendliness for Dummies" manual: I wish you a nice day. Went to Cobra on Museumplein. Fine there.

Great cafe, lively staff and quick service. A few vegan items on the menu too.

Dirty unkempt toilets… Luckily I visited the toilet first before I went there for lunch.

There weren’t enough waiters or waitresses. I waited for 10 minutes before being asked to sit at the counter. The waitress forgot who ordered a coffee, so I offered to take it if no one else wanted it. She agreed and said it would be free, but I was still charged. I noticed many customers waiting in line who ended up leaving due to the lack of staff. It was 3 pm, a very busy time, but only five staff members were on shift.

Not a good place to stop off before or after visiting the museum. Long waiting times, not everything ordered is served at the table. Better to stop off at another nearby café and enjoy!

Just "stranded" on a hot day. Prices are relatively high and the entertainment feels "canteen-like". If you are really thirsty, you can walk in, but I think: just walk on to limit your expenses.

Ordered the tens favorite (24.50). Tomato soup tasted like horrible ready made canned soup. Croquette was super tiny. Steer clear from this. Lemonade was good! So this place maybe is nice just for a drink but not for lunch.

They have an impressive disorganization, it seems that they are trying hard to provide poor service. After they gave us the menu, at least 25 minutes passed until they took our order, we were about to leave. Then they brought us the food, without cutlery or napkins, or with our drinks, all of this came within 10 minutes because we went to look for the waitress.

After a long visit to the museum, we enjoyed a refreshing beer and some waters for my wife and little one to rehydrate after a warm day in Amsterdam. The food was very tasty and the service was warm and attentive. The atmosphere and decor was appropriate for a modern art museum’s neighboring space. Highly recommend.

I was welcomed in this Restraunt by lovely staff. I asked for a specific drink to see if I found get that, but they did not have that drink bit the staff gave me loads of alternatives and recommendations. I got my drink and was more than happy with my drink. Lovely atmosphere and location

Although it wasnt busy the servers ignored us, and we had to wait 30 min just for fries. The fries looked extremely unappetizing considering the price. All in all Bad experience wouldnt recommend

Very nice host who listened patiently to what exactly our table lady wanted to know about the cappucino and who quickly delivered our order. Excellent custom cappucino, flat white and super chai with espresso plus fresh apple pie and delicious bavarois cake! Recommended!

Was walking around the city after my flight was cancelled and stumbled upon this spot. Augustine was lovely and definitely the highlight here! Food was good too.

I came here with hesitation for a pit stop after seeing all the reviews. I just ordered a glass of lemonade for 3.9 euros. I got something like a cocktail 🍹and was honestly surprised. I don't know if I was lucky, but anyway thanks for the drink and the service.

Bright airy cafe attached to the Stedelijk museum. Unfortunately their tea offerings is less than reasonable. I’ve opted for the Cinnamon star anise tea and the infusion delivered was literally a cup of hot water with a stick of cinnamon and a few star anise! For the benefit of doubt, the ‘tea’ was sipped for 15-20min before I tasted it. Alas it was tasteless and I was charged EU$5 for it. Not cool.

Worst service ever by the guy in the photo. Literally didn’t even finish my soup and he just took the tissue on the table and threw it in there without asking if I was finished my food. Then did not even apologise and even felt the need to keep staring at me afterwards! The food is so overpriced for what you get. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The most beautiful places inside have a permanent 'reserved' sign. Inquiries taught me that this is to relieve the burden on the staff because those places are the furthest walk away for them. This is somewhat understandable given the current staff shortage. But I don't understand why all the dishes are so insanely expensive. I also expect a place like this to know how to make a cappuccino. Mine had a lot of milk

Ordered beer and tea, spring rolls to share.🤣😂 the spring rolls were only filo dough and with as little as possible of any content, it was perfectly fried 😅. And the food came before our drinks. Btw way too expensive for something so not good. The beer came first, the cup of water came later, also the serviette's colleague had forgotten to add tea. Then I had to wait for it. Poorly oriented staff, seemed like they had not received any training. When it came to paying, I went to the counter to pay. But then she said no, and tried to get someone else to pay when she had just ordered but not received it. I, on the other hand, waited, said I hadn't paid yet. Then she realized that it wasn't done. Hmmm.. perhaps train or he 2 personnel outside or more for the outdoor dining. Many waited to be paid and some waited a long time for what they had ordered. Fortunately for them, the weather was nice, so people weren't stressed or that irritated.

The service is really ridiculously bad. Very long wait. Only had to wait more than 25 minutes for a drink…. Been here before with the same result. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but I will never come here again

The food was really tasty and the service was friendly. I was particularly happy about one thing: there were waiters who could not only speak Dutch, but also other languages. I had the tomato soup and pancakes and everything was really great. I can recommend this cafe to you!

really disgusting, they didn't explain themselves at all, I asked for a classic hamburger, and it was super spicy, not to mention the onion and gherkins, what disgusting, I don't recommend it if you are on holiday like me and especially passing through, we paid very much for in my opinion 53.50 euros for three people SHAMEFUL.

Pretty bummed they took the yogurt bowl off the menu, it was amazing. The club sandwich I had last time was really good though. Pricey place, but the food and coffee are good. Chill atmosphere, young and slightly grumpy staff. No worries, I’ll be back. To the management, please bring back the yoghurt and fruit bowl. That saved me one jet lagged and coffee shopped morning. 🤙

The TEN is not a restaurant per se but rather a space to drink a coffee after visiting the surrounding museums. Their proximity is the only positive point to remember. No one comes to take your order if you don't wave at the waiters. The waiting time is long. The prices are exorbitant for the quality and quantity served - 19 euros for the club sandwich (the "grilled chicken" is in fact thin slices of smoked ham between 3 tasteless slices of sandwich bread) and 6 euros for a juice squeezed orange... I do not recommend.

We wanted to take a break with family after a long day of walking. We were greeted politely, we were asked to settle down...then we lost our patience after 20 minutes, no one came to see us for our order …while there are a lot of servers. We left to the total indifference of the waiters!!!

Outrageously expensive had lunch for three ppl for 113 euros, the food was alright but the service was bad. I was brought water but no glass, the waiters would not pay attention, I had to come up and get the glass myself, ask for everything myself and try catch attention of waiters then had lost my patience and came to pay myself. I will never go there again.

Bad staff who don't understand anything and the food (the burger) is lukewarm and you have to order everything separately and the sauce on the burger has changed to mustard and tomato ketchup... all in all DIRTY... the only thing tasty was... .the little bit of fries....I've been here before but this was the last time

For €17.50 one gluten-free roll (the size of a Kaiser bun) with a spoonful of kimchi and a slice of melted cheese, a bowl of mayo on the side. That's it😱 .. Really scandalous!!!
