I missed the butter and spices in the scrambled eggs with bread. The side salad had no dressing. The coffee was delicious!

Very good place to eat! We were there last weekend, the food was amazing. We had some questions about the food as I have many allergies and the chef was very kind to come to our table and help us out! I think his name was Rocco so props to him and breakfast club to having such nice employees.

TBC served up a fantastic brunch with fresh, tasty dishes and a laid-back atmosphere. Perfect for starting the day right! The New York Pancakes is a must try!

I paid almost 4 euros for milk with a little cinnamon, which was supposed to represent a chai latte. In addition, the server was very surly. I really wonder what his qualities are to be there?

Honestly one of the worst eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. It has a hard boiled egg with thin lemony sauce on a piece of lettuce with an old tomato on a weird dense “English” muffin. Some heat lamp warmed thin bacon and liquidy avocado paste. The orange juice was watery and too sweet. For nearly 20 Euros. The best thing was the coffee, because it was roasted down the street by Lot61 The waiter also nearly dropped the coffee on our table and ran off

The pancakes in the New York breakfast was good. However the menu didn't say syrup, when it arrived it was surrounded by too much syrup. It would be better served in a small cup on the side. The marshmallows are sweet and unnecessary. Extra fruit or blueberries would be a better alternative. Homemade ice tea was good and not too sweet. Service from waitress was excellent and polite.

Nice place, well located, small terrace in a quiet area, cozy interior. Apart from the form, nothing was wrong. Great prices for quality and remarkably slow service. For a plate of pancakes, count on around fifteen euros, too sweet, the taste of baking soda remains in the mouth, and more than 30 minutes of waiting. The apple pie is cheaper (around €5) and quite good but takes more than 15 minutes to arrive even though the room is not full. Orange juice is €4.50 for a small glass and iced coffee is €3.60 for a glass filled with ice cubes. In the end more than €25 for two and almost an hour wasted. I really advise against it.

Sad to see the quality of the Breakfast Club chain drop so much the past few years. we had Mexico City. There were no jalapenos, and the pico de Gallo was simply slices of tomato. The waitress was friendly :)

What I like about The Breakfast Club is the varied menu. There is enough for a very 'exciting' lunch, but also many classics. And everything is prepared equally delicious! Nice staff and really tasty coffee (not always easy to find). We are always open to feedback and take you seriously. I came to the Bellamyplein location a lot as a student, and yesterday for the first time as a 'mother' with my family. Nice to taste it and see that it is still just as tasty after all these years! Even though it was busy, everything was served quite quickly, which is great if you have a little one in your party. Compliments!

My friend and I split the English Breakfast (London under City Breakfast on their menu). We each paid €16 for the meal and it was enough for the both of us. We even had room for dessert which we split as well. We also ordered their Buttermilk Pancakes with Fresh Fruit (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and banana) for dessert and they were perfectly cooked! So soft and fluffy, just the way pancakes are supposed to be made. I haven't had a good breakfast in a while because I just cook simple food or eat bread and jam so having warm and well-prepared breakfast food was such a treat!

Seemed pretty busy when I got there, but I don't understand why. I ordered huevos rancheros, coffee and sparkling ice tea. The drinks were good, priced a little high, but not crazy. The huevos were supposed to come with pico de gallo, that wasn't there. The smashed avocado was straight from a jar. The tortilla was made into a quesedilla with barely any cheese, I paid €3 extra for about 5 thin slices of "chorizo" that were put in the quesedilla. Then a big spoon of sour cream, "black bean salsa" (maybe from a jar/can also?), and some canned jalapenos finished the dish. Eggs were cooked properly though. Service was nice, though I don't know if she understood the comments I gave about the food. I really don't understand why people go here.

My hotel was just around the corner from here during my visit and finding this place was exciting. Although the staff apologized, we had to call them a couple of times to get a menu. Their menu however was very extensive and the options catered to many dietary choices. The meals came out on time but the drinks didn’t taste as fresh for a breakfast/brunch establishment. Also their menu states that you cannot split a bill which I found very odd. Dropping three stars because of their food, nothing out of the ordinary, but still pleasing to the taste buds. It is worth a second visit, that I can say.

My cousin and I got the Mexico city breakfast and it is nothing that it says it is. It did not come with pico, the tortilla turned out to be a quesadilla and adding the "chorizo" is not chorizo it is pepperoni which was put inside the quesadilla. Not impressed, item should not be on the menu.

This is a very good choice for a simple breakfast with simple ingredients before going on the road looking at the sights of this vibrant City especially if you live in this part of town, quite likely at the hotel across the street. The prices are reasonable and the service is good, and sitting outside watching people going to work was a lot of fun while on vacation.

The portions are not very filling. (I write as someone who gets full with small portions) Buttermilk pancake is nice. Mexico city breakfast taste is normal, portion is small. I give it 80 out of a hundred :)

Since my last visit a couple of years ago they’ve done the place up and it’s beautiful. The food is still divine. I had the Mexico City again - and it had the right amount of spice and variety of textures and tastes. Mixed with the smoothest Cortado and the sun streaming in the window - my day couldn’t have started better.

Honestly, it was just okay. I appreciate the attempt to bring a taste of Mexico to the menu, but it felt a bit underwhelming. If you’re aiming for a true Mexican breakfast vibe, I'd suggest they switch it up and serve the over easy eggs over red chilaquiles instead. Chilaquiles are essentially tortilla chips smothered in salsa and topped with eggs, cheese, and sometimes chicken or beans. Trust me, everyone would love it. The Mexico City dish has some of the right elements, but it’s not quite there yet. Now, let's talk about the French toast. Oh. My. God. It was made with brioche, and it was absolutely amazing. The brioche gave it this wonderfully soft and fluffy texture that just soaked up all the syrup and butter perfectly. It was sweet, decadent, and exactly what you want from a French toast. I would come back just for this dish alone. The coffee was also top-notch. Sometimes, brunch places can slack off on the coffee, but not here. It was rich, flavorful, and just the pick-me-up I needed. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just need your morning caffeine fix, you won’t be disappointed. A big shoutout to the staff as well. They were kind, smiley, and really made the experience enjoyable. Good service can make all the difference, and the team at The Breakfast Club definitely knows how to treat their customers right. All in all, I’d say "The Breakfast Club" is definitely worth a visit. They’ve got some fantastic dishes on the menu and a great atmosphere. Even though the Mexico City dish needs some tweaking, the French toast and coffee more than make up for it. Plus, with such a friendly staff, you’re guaranteed a pleasant time. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their offerings. If you’re looking for a new brunch spot, give The Breakfast Club a shot!

Best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had and the bread was delicious

A short drink break, as I originally wanted to have lunch but didn't see anything on the menu that caught my attention. I eventually decided to go home and enjoy my New Holland herring. I did enjoy my cup of ginger tea with honey in peace. I ended up having a pleasant conversation with another guest who was having lunch there. I stayed longer than I had intended.

I went because I saw a video that it was delicious there, the truth is that I was not disappointed. It is delicious, it is acceptable in price and it is worth it. Just don't go during peak hours because they take a long time to pay attention. Yes I liked it and it is good to know it, they have delicious food.

There is no such pancake! It is served in large portions without skimping on ingredients. I forget the name, the one with cheese and ham is our favourite. Prices are very affordable. Only the place is a little 'modest'. If your aim is not visuality but taste, you should definitely visit!

Everything beautiful and delicious...smiling and friendly staff. However, we were not ready for the costs of Amsterdam: 4 pankakes (each dish with a cake of 5 overlapping pankakes with sweet syrup and fresh fruit garnish), a freshly squeezed juice, two smoothies and a tot pear juice. €70! It must be said that with such an abundant breakfast I was able to do without lunch!!!!!

We visited the place at around 3 PM on a Thursday. There were hardly any guests except us. Still, after waiting 30 minutes for our pancakes and grilled cheese sandwich I had to ask the waiter where our food was. It finally came after another few minutes, without an apology. The service was generally slow. As for the food, well, it was edible. We did not have a good experience.

After 50min of waiting for a Caesar salad the waitress inform us that a chef forgot about our order and they are closing soon. They serve drinks in a glasses for a water not even with ice. Super disappointing. Rude service. Very bad experience.

One of my favorite lunch places for years. I always gave big ***** for the food, but I have noticed a sharp decline in quality lately. For example, a dish recently arrived completely cold. After complaining, it turned out that all kitchen equipment had broken down and instead of reporting this, they chose to serve the dish ice cold. Last week I ordered the same dish again -chicken waffles- and this time it was only served with one waffle instead of two and it did not seem fresh at all. It seems as if the business is starting to go off the rails due to TikTok success. Very sorry.

The interior design is cosy and gives of a pleasent vibe. It's fairly spacious especially for amsterdam standards. Whoever chose the music for this place did a great job, because the smooth jazzy sound definitely adds to the experience. The food was amazing. I would recommend this place to everyone!

The food was good, delicious brioche for the burger. Reason for giving three star is that on the menu it says for burger you get fries+mayo+ketchup, but I wasn’t served with ketchup nor mayo for my fries. When I asked, the staff said there is €1 extra for the ketchup. Maybe the menu should be updated, or else it can feel a bit scammy.

Yes, I’d already tasted the pancake before the photo. Honestly one of the best vegan pancakes I’ve had in a while- 4 thick pancakes stacked with a slice of banana, chocolate sauce and coconut flakes. They don’t have many vegan dishes but for what it’s worth if you’re in the area and you want a quick bite you won’t be disappointed.

I had the Mexican breakfast. Nice bowl of flavours but I would have preferred it plated differently. The tortilla was placed at the bottom with everything else at the top and was difficult to pick it up to, instead had to cut in hard to eat.

Mixed opinions for the breakfast club Amsterdam. The food was absolutely delicious, really cute cafe and the pancakes to die for !! However, although the service from most of the staff was 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and they made us feel welcome and took great care of us, one waiter (by the name of kosta I think) was incredibly rude and took away from our experience at the cafe. Deeply upsetting us :( he was blunt, dismissive and outright disrespectful. Not only to us but other customers. I suggests he changes his attitude if they want repeat customers. Such a shame as the place has such good potential.

Bij de binnenkomst kregen we een tafel aangeboden waarbij we bij mensen moesten zitten maar dit wilden we niet waardoor de serveerder grofweg vroeg of we een probleem hadden. Uiteindelijk een anderen tafel gevonden dus dat was niet zo een fijne eerste indruk. De service was snel maar niet wauw. Maar het eten was wel enorm verrukkelijk. Daar hebben we zeker van genoten.

My barista gf 9/10 for the Iced Oat Vanilla Latte, they even gave us a little biscuit on top and after lunch mints - We had chicken waffles which were tasty but the New York style pancake stack was incredibly nice, pancakes freshly kitchen cooked with a lovely array of fruits, perfectly toasted marshmallows and bacon with syrup. It was all v delicious.
