Tanta elección y un gran ambiente. Lo más difícil fue decidir dónde elegir para la cena! Fui a un lugar mexicano... No puedo recordar el nombre, pero era precioso! A un precio razonable y tan bueno. Solo estuvimos allí por una noche, pero si hubiera sido un viaje más largo nos habríamos vuelto a visitar.

Nous avons passé un super moment au foodhallen. Le concept est génial. Malgré le monde nous avons rapidement trouvé une place pour 2. Nous avons mangé brésilien, chinois, et mexicain en une seule soirée , et bu de bonnes bières et cocktails .

I went for the seasonal bowl, and usually I'm not a picky eater but it was just plain bad. The rice was hard, things were not seasoned well, and the whole thing was super sour. I think it was way too much dressing or something, because a lot of liquid was at the bottom. It's a shame, because otherwise the place seemed nice.

This Little Place in the foodhall of Amsterdam made my day! I love Mexican food and was kind of raised on it. It felt right from the start. When you ask the Staff if they know about celiac and the response is off course we do, you just feel so relieved. This girl that took our order really knew about celiac and made me feel safe. I forgot to ask for her name but i only remember she was Italian. Thank you so much The aim of the place is to be local and healthy . Everything is gluten free except the burritos. I had some bangin quesadillas with chicken and got offered their mango hot sauce to spice it up. I loved it so much! It really made my day because I really miss Mexican food

It was a bit of a walk but it is a great place to go where you have multiple cuisines to choose from. We went on a Sunday and it was insanely busy so I wouldn't recommend that! Also, like most of Amsterdam, it does not take cash, which, for international visitors isn't great with all the card fees.

Gezellig en lekker eten wel aan de duurdere kant. Live dj die hele lekkere nummertjes draaide en er goed in zat. Verder was aan de bar de gleuvenglijder een echte aanrader

We thoroughly enjoyed this place. The gin and tonics were delicious. So many good options! Hard to make a decision. We had bitterballen flights, calamari and padron peppers. Would definitely return!

Super cool. I had a great experience at this cozy spot in Amsterdam! The menu offers a nice selection of pizzas and sandwiches, all made with fresh, quality ingredients. Not healthy, not mexican. Some constructive feedback for the owner: 1) I had half guacamole, and half an avocado which somehow either skipped the mashing process, or was put in way too late 2) Quarter of it was just nachos, another quarter was rice, so it left very little place for healthy veggies and meat. 3) The meat was very plain too, as if there was no marinating done. 4) The beans were overdone and mushy. So all in all, half of it was healthy but missing any flavor, and the other half was very unhealthy so flavorful or not didn't matter to me as I didn't eat much of it anyway.

From the friendly and cordial attention to the food that is a 10. The quesadillas with Kale, the nachos full of sauces and the burrito. A success to try this Healthy Mexican where the flavors come together in a party in the mouth. Highly recommended!

Great food (we did Mexican, crepe and bakery). Great tunes from the DJ and the whole place was jumping. Just a great Friday night, fun experience.

Esta sala de mercado es un lugar popular, ya que ofrece comida y bebida a precios razonables en comparación con restaurantes y cenas - en algunos lugares. El lugar es muy concurrido y ruidoso, lo que puede disuadir a aquellos que prefieren un lugar más sereno para socializar. Es bastante estrecho y los asientos tienden a ser ocupados muy rápidamente. Sin embargo, con muchos lugares de comida y bebida, es bueno comer algo sobre la marcha. La selección de alimentos es una mezcla de cocina tradicional e internacional. Lugar perfecto para aquellos con un presupuesto limitado o en busca de una escena ocupada para disfrutar.

Un gran salón de comidas donde sorprendentemente toda la señalización y menús están en inglés. Como es clásico, es un poco complicado encontrar un asiento, pero hay una gran variedad de opciones de comida y habrá algo para todos.

We thought we would have some nachos; chicken a €16. High price, but that's expected. Conclusion; dry chicken that you had to look for, beans that had been cooked for so long that they had to be dry and brown. Cheap house brand nachos.. little cheese and finally also cold. In short; very disappointing for that money.

That's what I call good freshfood fast! No ordinary TexMex but amazing tastey and colourfull food.

Un po' fuori dal centro ma ci arriva tranquillamente anche a piedi con una bella passeggiata . Ambiente caldo e pieno di posti dove mangiare, ce n'è per tutti i gusti. Io personalmente ho scelto di mangiare una pita vegana (8.70€) da Padron e sono rimasta contenta, davvero molto buona. Prezzi forse un po' più alti della media per Amsterdam

Endroit super, cuisines variées. Le seul bémol c’est le manque de place pour pouvoir manger assis. Beaucoup de monde évitez les heures de pointes. Autrement choix varié de cuisine et endroit propre.

It was our first visit to Amsterdam and we did find this gem of a place. As a Chef my self I look for quality in food markeds and I did love the consept they have made. Did spend a couple of hours tying different small dishes in a bar. Did love this place and will return on my next stay in Amsterdam

Really nice place, away from city centre, so its not as full of tourists. Really good selection of food and drinks. Prices were really ok!

Got the nachos. Didn’t have half the topping, half is just chips with no topping. low quality tortilla chips (could have bought them at albert heijn) Super over priced! Service was fine

The food is quite good and cozy, the service is fast and super friendly. I would definitely recommend the vegan options there, and the drinks too (the piña colada juice is absolutely delicious). The concept of the place is truly great: organic, fresh, locally sourced ingredients, so you will support a great value chain while eating delicious foods.

Proprio grazie al forum di TA sono venuto a conoscenza di questo posto che non conoscevo, nonostante siano molti anni che frequento Amsterdam. La location in generale è bellissima, una vecchia rimessa dei tram trasformata in un luogo multi culturale, ed al cui interno è stata ricavata questa zona street food (tutto comunque al chiuso). Ci si può imbattere in numerose cucine del mondo: messicano, thai, indiano, jap etc. ed alcuni bar. Lo trovo perfetto per pranzo. Noi abbiamo assaggiato una serie di Gyoza e le famigerate Bitterballen. Tutto ottimo. Anche il servizio bar è top, il ragazzo che ci ha fatto il gin tonic è stato super gentile e ci ha serviti alla perfezione. Menzione speciale alla manager bionda, splendida!

Un lieu très agréable où trouver toute sorte de cuisine. Cuisine vietnamienne, hollandaise, chinoise, burger, dimsum, tout est de qualité. Pour se désaltérer des stands de vins et bière. L addition est très correcte et o. Peut cha un choisir ce que l on veut ! Idéal pour plaire aux petits comme aux grands.

Delicious food and good help from Jeroen. I had the chicken burrito, which I could eat every day because it is tasty and healthy. I also drank the new Pina Colada drink (alcohol-free). Very tasty on the side, very fresh!

We had an amazing time at Foodhallen! It's the perfect spot to explore a variety of food and drinks all under one roof. We tried six different dishes, and each one was absolutely delicious—flavors that truly stood out. The drinks were just as impressive; we had beer, wine, and cocktails, and they were all top-notch. The atmosphere is lively, and it's a great place to enjoy with family or friends. Highly recommend visiting if you're in Amsterdam!

Cet endroit est juste génial, à 2 on peut manger 2 plats différents (voir plus) en fonction des goûts de chacun. Il y a des périodes où c’est vraiment bondé mais l’endroit est vraiment top

The food here was incredible. All my friends enjoyed it and would definitely recommend a visit. Whenever you order from the portion sizes are small so you are better getting a few dishes at once. The prices are a bit expensive but the food makes it worth it. Just bare in mind that this isn't in the very centre of Amsterdam so I would recommend getting a tram depending on where you are.

We came here for dinner and although it was very busy, we managed to find a space on one of the long benches. There are plenty of vendors to choose from but we particularly enjoyed the Vietnamese and Mexican food. Really nice buzzy atmosphere.

Good variety of food stalls, nice quality, acceptable prices. Not a "must see" if visiting Amsterdam in our opinion, but it was a handy place to have a family dinner. No problems getting a table at about 6pm on a Friday in late August. Music playing through speakers was a little too loud for us though.

Zone couverte avec plein de stand de nourriture différents, super bon et bonne ambiance, à faire. Pour 2 nous avons payés 35€ pour 1 hot dog, du poulet fris, pita, et maxi crepe dessert ( on a bien mangé)

During our 5-day visit to AMS, we visited twice for lunch. What a great find, and a short tram ride. We loved having options, the food was great, and was easy to grab a table after we picked up our food. We also enjoyed visiting a former and now converted Tram shed.

We enjoyed our time here, great especially if it’s bad weather out. Fantastic atmosphere and so many food options, there must be something for everyone there. Good place to chill and share good food and drink.

I thought the menu was pricey at first but what I got was good value, esp considering their free range/locally grown concept. Chips and guac were not kind of "authentic style" but they tasted fresh, like all the ingredients. (Guac look scared me at first but it was just kind of creamy or something) The bowl was massive so I wasn't mad at the cost (18€). It was both filling and kind of refreshing which was exactly what I had hoped for considering all I had eaten that day was cheese and stroop waffles haha

The bowl was tasty, i liked it. The sauces were so good, the mango sauce was so nice and I highly recommend it. The owner is so friendly, he offered me free sauce as well.

First of all: it is a loud food hall. In general, of course, you have to like it. But this one is really particularly loud and there are very few seats. We sat upstairs and you always have to wind your way through such a complicated route to your seats - particularly unpleasant with food in your hand. Now to eat Fentos - we paid €29 for both. The bowl was great, although not exactly cheap. The quesadillas, on the other hand, were rather disappointing, both in size and taste. Therefore only 3 stars.

[celiac / gluten free review] There weren't a ton of GF options at Foodhallen but I'm glad this one stood out. The server assured me it was gluten free when I asked. The bowl I got was really good, you can't tell from the picture but it's loaded with lots of layers and had good flavors. While everything is more expensive in Amsterdam, I do felt I got a good portion for the price here.

Worst burrito of my life. Completely tasteless: it was mostly undressed salad and spelt. Didn’t even taste like a burrito. Also, the restaurant was messy. There’s better places for sure at foodhallen.

Great quesedillas, love the taste, the freshness and it’s a good portion. Also the fresh made salsa and guacamole are lovely! The owner, Izzat, is really kind and welcoming as well. A must go if you’re in the Foodhallen!!

Had a really delicious meal here, helped this afternoon by two super nice and helpful employees

The burrito was really bad, not very hot and extremely bland. The worst thing though, was the customer service or should I say lack of. Two young kids, boy and girl, on their phones the whole time, no eye contact and smirking at people when they were ordering. They told me to come back in 5 mins, after 20 it still wasn’t ready and when we went to enquire, the girl looked in disbelief that we had dared to even ask then made some joke to the boy. Eventually had to go up again and it was sat out at the counter, cold, they didn’t shout our number or tell us even though we were sat right opposite. Really bad vibe and waste of money. Would defo give this a miss.

I ordered for a vegetarian burrito and then took some salsa in the containers meant for it. The server asked me not to touch saying it's unhygienic to touch the serving spoon (I didn't know he expected me to take the salsa with my hands) and when I said the other guest did it too, he said I needed to ask. It was extremely rude, racist and he asked me to put the salsa back. I mean, if it was unhygienic and I put it back in the container, then the whole salsa becomes unhygienic. A place like foodhallen in Amsterdam where global cuisine is served, just one racist vendor can spoil the entire experience. Shameful and disappointing The owner reached out requesting me to message privately when they actually humiliated me in public. It's easy to project your callous attitude on the guest and term it as frustrating. You need to understand that you're serving guests across the globe and one racist sounding comment deserves to be made public. It's not a small matter. I'm not the only one to have this issue. If you read other reviews, you may understand that customer service is an issue and if the person serving food puts negative energy while making it by making such condescending comments, that's what needs to be worked on. It's service industry and attitude makes all the difference

Vegan kalesadilla was a bomb. Completed with probiotic hot sauce it couldn’t be more delicious. Huge plus for organic produce and gluten-free menu.

Mexikanisches Restaurant in den Foodhallen von Amsterdam. Das Essen ist soweit in Ordnung, aber nichts außergewöhnliches. Portionen sind klein und dafür relativ teuer. Mitarbeiter wirken gelangweilt.

This is legitimately the worst plate of nachos I’ve had in my entire life. It was 50% raw lettuce and 50% plain tortilla chips from a bag, doused with canned salsa, untreated black beans, and grafted queso, with spicy mayo on top. The only redeeming factor is the queso. Everything was more or less tasteless. We only had the nachos, the tacos seemed fine and the service was fine, thus 2 stars instead of one. I wish I could my 11,50 euro back, unfortunately I can’t.

It's great that you get glutenfree quesadillas here - there are not many options for glutenfree menus in the "Foodhallen". Nachos (corn) with salsa and guacamole were tasty, but expensive = €8,50 (only for the guacamole we paid €3,-). Glutenfree chicken quesadillas were good, but nothing special: € 11,50 Anyway it should be acknowledged that they have glutenfree options and are well versed about glutenfree menus! :-)

Man erwartet mexikanisches Essen. Gut gewürzt und etwas feurig scharf. Aber man bekommt hier nur ein schlappes geschmackloses Essen. Getränke kann man nur mit ein umständlichen unsicheren App bestellen, unglaublich. Wir bekamen KEIN Getränk zum Essen. Foodhallen sollte man meiden!! Gäste sind nicht wirklich willkommen.

The best place in the Foodhallen for tasty and healthy food! I recently met one of the owners and I am impressed by his apporach and mindfulness around food systems. With Fento they really try to minimise waste and they even grow their own food! You have to try the FENTO burrito and their spicy pineapple/ mango dip (what was the secret ingredient? :)).
