The Food Club in Wijk 02 Noordwest

Delicious, gluten-free meal in this lovely restaurant with great service. We came across The Food Club by accident, but were surprised when it turned out that the entire menu is gluten-free, for great prices. The owner was very friendly and made the whole visit even more enjoyable. The bibimbap, tartare and tarts were delicious. We will definitely come back here again!

We ended up here by chance. Surprising that there was still a table available. What a cozy atmosphere. Sublime food and wonderful service. It's been a long time since I had such a good meal and was served with such passion. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again when we are in the area. By the way, Dolores survived so we will definitely see each other again ;)

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was beyond disappointing—bland, poorly cooked, and completely lacking in any redeeming qualities. But what really set this place apart (in the worst way possible) was the service. The person serving us—was shockingly rude, dismissive, and seemed genuinely irritated by our presence. No hospitality, no basic manners, just pure arrogance. It felt like we were inconveniencing them by daring to eat at their establishment. With so many great restaurants around, there’s absolutely no reason to waste your time or money here. Avoid at all costs.

Such amazing service and care! If you are gluten free and coeliac (celiac) this is a must visit. Or if you like great food in a lovely setting and aren’t gluten free, this is still an amazing restaurant. I went with 4 others who weren’t gluten free and they didn’t know the difference. Everything is gluten free and they do gluten free beer too. Could’ve stayed all day. Thank you!

We come here almost every week. We are not only a fan of food but also all the staff members. They are so kind, helpful, friendly, and nice. We would love to give this restaurant more than five stars but unfortunately it is not possible. They also know everything about the celiac diease. Thanks for being such a great place.

A Celiac Safe Haven with Outstanding Service and Food This restaurant is 100% gluten-free and completely celiac safe, as the owner is also celiac. The service and hospitality were excellent, and the food was very good. The chef and owner reassured me by saying, “You can try and eat from your wife and daughter’s dishes too.” This is something only someone with celiac disease can truly understand and appreciate. I was so excited by the all gluten-free menu that I forgot to take photos—but I’ll be sure to do that next time! 😂

Here you can not only eat gluten-free, but also eat very tasty gluten-free food! In addition, the owners are not only hospitable, but also very funny.

The best gluten-free food ever. Each dish has so much taste, it‘s casual fine dining. The bread is very soft, not at all dry like many other places. The team is extremely helpful, overall very amazing service and great prices for what you get. Only the Matcha Latte needs some work in my opinion, but the food is untouchable! Will come again!

Had a delicious meal with a group of girls during a bachelor party for someone with celiac disease. Everyone was pleasantly surprised that gluten-free food could be so tasty! The service and atmosphere in the restaurant were really great. We felt very welcome by the sweet and friendly owner. Everyone was also a fan of the carrot cake for dessert, so we ended up ordering this as a wedding cake. This was also very popular with all the other guests and it was nice that we did not have to stress about possible cross-contamination. Thank you so much!

Very nice place with good music. You can get there by walking or by bus from Utrecht Central train station. There is a stop right in front. Pleasant and welcoming treatment. What a treat for my two boys to be able to choose from absolutely everything on the menu. Delicious food, but just as important is the hospitality and service of the entire team. One warm blanket with an eye for detail and they make everyone feel so at home that you can't help but want to come back again. Chapeau, see you soon!

For the first time after my daughter's diagnosis of Celiac disease, I went out for a truly worry-free meal. No chance of cross-contamination and an extensive menu, not the standard gluten-free items. Great service, fast and good food. We will definitely come here more often.

Had a super tasty lunch. Everything is gluten-free on the lunch menu, which is super beneficial for my girlfriend with celiac disease (even the deserts!). The atmosphere is also good and the staff is super friendly. If we are ever in Utrecht again, we will definitely come again.

A great place, the food is very good, traditional dishes with batter that I couldn't eat in many places, the entire menu is gluten free, they have a menu in English. Lovely staff, they served us very quickly.

Worry-free eating is more than just not getting sick from ingredients, it is that your company can also eat delicious food without you feeling like they have to adjust for you all evening. Upon arrival, I was immediately corrected when I asked: “May I ask a stupid question, but you are completely gluten-free, aren't you?” Friendly but resolutely, my question was countered with: “That's not a stupid question at all, it's about your health, isn't it? Here you can eat just about anything.” And that was my experience at The Food Club, enjoying a carefree meal with my brother and sister. All the food was delicious and we laughed with the good-natured service. Even received a very thoughtful present when we left. And they also had more than 10 pieces of gluten-free pastries! That alone is a reason to go back again soon.

I visited this medium-size local. They offer gluten-free food. As everything is gluten free, there is no risk of cross-contamination. We ate elaborated sandwiches and tasty cakes. Good atmosphere. Easygoing & sunny staff. Very good coffee (which is rare in NL 😀). Prices aligned with NL standards.

Super lekker 100% glutenvrij gegeten waarbij de eigenaresse (Carlijn) zich écht aan dit concept houdt. Hele fijne sfeer en gezellige contact met het personeel; feitjes over glutenvrij eten en gewoon gezellig kletsen. Buitenom deze hoogtepunten is het eten gewoon van heerlijke kwaliteit met ruime keuze, iets wat voor iemand met glutenintolerantie zeldzaam is. Ik gun iedereen zo'n experience en wij komen zeker eens terug.

Best glutenfree Restaurant I've visited so far in the netherlands. Everthing ist prepared with Love and tasted amasing. We Had Fried little fishs, Bitterballen, shrimpsoup and Pancakes. I Wish i Had the time and stamina to try everything. I will come again as soon as I'm Back in Utrecht

The food here was terrific. A limited menu but all is gluten free so you can eat anything without concerns of getting sick. It gives you the ability to try something different which is nice. The staff was amazing. Loved the cozy atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Heerlijk eten en ontzettend gastvrije, vriendelijke mensen. We komen hier altijd met veel plezier. Eén van de weinige écht veilige plekken voor mensen met Coeliakie in Utrecht, dat alles ook nog voor een schappelijke prijs.
