The food was delicious, but unfortunately, the employee who helped me and my girlfriend was very bad at customer service and even rude in some of his comments. He treated us unfairly, described my girlfriend as someone who doesn't understand, and then made an inappropriate comment to me about our choices. While she was ordering, I only took over the conversation because she felt hurt by his remark. It was around 4:10 PM. Unfortunately, this attitude ruined part of our experience at the restaurant.

During the ordering process, you're tempted to add all sorts of extra toppings. After I paid, it turned out they weren't available at all. "Even though you just paid €2 for guacamole, it's unfortunately gone, sorry!" A refund wasn't an option, so the only thing I could do was order an extra topping of something I didn't fancy. They should have at least put up a note at the ordering terminal saying it's gone, instead of taking my money and then blatantly claiming it's no longer available. That's simply unacceptable. This is basically theft.

Why serve only HALAL chicken meat? Traditional gyros are made with pork. Stick to the authentic Greek recipe! If the goal is to offer Arabic-style shaworma, then name the place The Shaworma Bar. The location is small and few seats that are always occupied, you have to sit outside the Shopping Center. The staff looked exhausted, unhappy, and unwelcoming. I paid 10 EUR for a gyros and was still hungry, as the portions were small. This was my first and last visit. Not recommended.

The quality of the falafel sandwich has really changed; it used to be something special. Now it's just a standard sandwich with the same falafel you can buy at the supermarket, five balls. The sandwich was sloppily made, with a whole pile of lettuce at the bottom and five balls piled on top. So you start off well, but halfway through, you're eating a lettuce sandwich! With practically nothing left.

The Gyros Bar in Utrecht is a true hidden gem. The food is delicious and the portions are generous, all for such a low price! The value for money is truly excellent. The service is also fantastic. Christina, in particular, deserves a special mention. She's incredibly customer-friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful if you're unsure about what to choose. You don't see that kind of service very often! Plus, if you don't like something or want something different, they're always happy to adjust it for you. I really hope they open a branch in Amsterdam too. Highly recommended ;)

Ate here with my mom after a day of shopping. I had the Dutch Saloon. Super delicious! Large portions and everything was delicious. The place itself isn't very big, but definitely worth it! Too bad we don't have this in Alkmaar 🤭 I'll definitely go here again; good quality, delicious food, friendly staff. What more could you want? A tip if you don't like spicy food is to ask if the Dutch Saloon doesn't have hot sauce. I needed two cans of drink myself, and I can handle it pretty well! All in all, a great place. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

Delicious chicken doner, tasty gyros, and great sauce—I'd happily return for that. The flavors are excellent, and the food is fresh. There are a few downsides. Inside, the seating is quite cramped, and it's not always clean; the floor is often slippery from dropped food. It would be nice if they cleaned more often, as it seems some customers can't eat normally. Also, the music is sometimes a bit too loud, which makes the atmosphere less pleasant if you want to sit inside. My advice: get takeout and eat it in the square nearby, for example. It's often very busy here, which indicates it's a popular and good place. The owners and staff are friendly, so all in all, I give this place 4 stars.

We were served by Asi, a super attentive and friendly Italian. As soon as he learned it was my birthday, he made a point of doing me a favor, which made me very happy. Plus, the food is good, of excellent quality, and very well served. I highly recommend it and appreciate the attentive service.

Best gyros in Netherlands, no kidding! Meat is juicy and tasty, the gyros is really big, a lot of toppings to choose, and pita itself has taste of nice roasted bread. It’s more of a take away place but you can also sit inside. Local staff working there, can be busy but definetely worth the wait

If you want to eat gyros in Utrecht, I'd recommend this place. I had a salad bowl with gyros and garlic sauce. And it was really good. The only downside is that it was an overload of salad with very little gyros. I paid 16 euros for it, a bit too much considering the portion size. The staff are friendly, and the food is really delicious. We also got it pretty quickly (it was a bit quieter, but still).

I ordered the Gyros Smokey BBQ and it was absolutely delicious. The Gyros Bar never disappoints with their food. My only negative is that the sitting area was extremely hot and stuffy.

I have eaten gyros in greece, and many more countries, and many places in utrecht. This was by far the worst of all. Doesn’t even taste like gyros, and unfortunately disturbed our stomach after a few hours. I guess the high points are caused by bought reviews or pretty low dutch standards on food - understandable because portion is big. It was also pricy for a gyros, it should be a few euros cheaper imo. I wish it tasted better too.

Well filled pitas! I would just go for the classic or spicy, because those are the most authentic pitas. For €10 you have a good lunch.

The pita was so incredibly soft that I'm still walking on clouds. There could have been a bit more garlic in the tzatziki, but there was a lot of choice and the toppings were generous. I want to go on holiday to Greece right now🇬🇷. #softpita

Really insanely delicious (and a lot). Is it pure gyros-gyros? No, maybe not, but it is the real meat-fries guilty pleasure you are looking for. Huge portions and really so tasty. And funny and nice staff.

I come every time I’m in Utrecht. They have amazing fries and the best cheese sauce I’ve had since coming here.

Delicious loaded fries eaten! Beautiful cozy snug seating areas. Right at the back on the benches you can escape the hustle and bustle. Because of the good reviews we ended up here... great!! I had a nice picture but accidentally didn't take it.

Second time here to pick up gyros for lunch. Last time pita gyros and now the loaded Fries with a loose pita ordered. Really delicious! And a big portion so I didn't have to eat the rest of the day. Recommended the Greek lemonade. Despite the crowds, the food was ready quickly! Unfortunately there are not that many seats, so I looked for a free seat somewhere in Hoog Catharijne.

The food is usually very good, but I had a bad experience today. I always order my sandwich without onions, but about 75% of the time, it still comes with onions. I think more attention should be paid during preparation. Until now, when I pointed out the mistake, my sandwich was replaced without issue. However, today I was told it was just an onion that had fallen onto the salad and that none had been added inside — which I later found out was untrue, and beleive was said in purpose so that they get rid of me. I was also asked whether I was allergic or simply didn’t like onions. I found this question unprofessional. If I order without onions, that should be enough — I shouldn’t have to justify my preference. It’s a shame because I really like the sandwiches, but I hope the service and attention to detail improve.

It was after 1pm and there were not many customers. I ordered GYROS LEGENDARY and a Coke at PITA, as recommended by the waiter. It was quite delicious, but it was too big for one person to finish. I think it would be better to share it between two people. Thank you for the meal.

Almost nothing was included in the pita and we had to pay everything extra. There was no option to choose meat and it was mentioned nowhere that it is chicken. I would not eat there if I knew. A Greek Pita place with only chicken as an option is laughable.

Place is nice for the open space Caffè. The selection of gyros is wide but unfortunately it does not taste as gyros at all. It's a wrap. With chicken and veggies. But not a gyros at al... And the pita bread was not tasty at all, tasted as regular bread. Also it is quite expensive and barely has any meat. Was slightly disappointed about spended money.

I can only say the best about the Greek Gyradiko that we visited 2 weeks ago inside the mall and I strongly recommend that you visit: excellent service in a spotlessly clean and organized environment, with a perfect round, in quantity, quality, taste, AAA, with a small warm place to sit and enjoy it if you are lucky and find a table as it is always full but the most important thing for us who were in the country for business reasons with difficulty in the language: Greeks and Greek! After we returned, I can now say that the pleasant surprise of our entire trip, awaited us at this store, our friend Kostas from Peloponnese, manager of the store, who seems to have known us forever, after a conversation about his work, he volunteered himself and helped us with a moving issue we had. What to say about this man, really good for him, we were moved by his kindness and his Greek philotimo. From here we thank him again and we wish him to be strong and always well in his life and may his employers and in general his people recognize his benevolent and humane character.

It's really great that you can order via the kiosk, you can also order all the ingredients separately or extra. I ordered a pita giros. It was ready quickly. Friendly people. Got a really generous portion. I only ordered the pita with meat, but for those who like it there are containers with lettuce and vegetables. The giros were not made of pork but of chicken. Smart for halal customers. If I had eaten it with my eyes closed without knowing what it was, I would have said it was chicken döner but of good quality. I don't think the herbs were traditional giros herbs (as used in the Netherlands). The meat was really tasty. Close to my work, I thought: a perfect new address. Then came the letdown after a few bites. The pita... didn't like it. Looked like brown bread or whole wheat. As a result, it was drier, less soft, and seemed less fresh. I left most of it and only ate the meat. It's a real shame, everyone has their own taste, but I'll skip it from now on.

They had a perfect balance between meat and toppings. Not too much onion, nor too little. Just perfect balance. I recommend them big time for a tasty meal. Also very friendly nice people too.

spent $10 to ruin my outfit and my bag because of awfully careless packing. paid extra for a to-go bag that has holes in them (the brown paper bag). tiny pita with excessively stuffed grilled veggies which are watery. just don’t understand the logic behind it. when you charge $10.50 for a gyros, the least you could do it wrap it in a way that it doesn’t leak or provide a bag that isn’t supposed to hold liquid. never again.

The Gyros Bar is highly recommended if you fancy something tasty and quick! The pitas and loaded fries are super good, well seasoned and nice and fresh. 🌯🍟 There is also a lot of choice in terms of extras - I definitely recommend the caramelized onions, they really complete it. There are not many places to sit, but that is not surprising because this place is popular and people like to eat here. For me this is a 5/5 – always tasty and you get value for your money!
