It was a very nice dinner at Seafood bar. Service was quick and very kind, thanks for Milica. I will definitely go again! Food was delicious.

This was the most delicious meal I've had in Amsterdam. Thanks to the fresh ingredients, everything I ordered was delicious. The vongole pasta was especially popular. The clams weren't fully cooked, which was a bit disappointing, but the seasoning was excellent. The squid and fish were also incredibly tender. The atmosphere was quiet and bright. I'd love to visit again.

This was our first time here, and we were looked after by Romy, a wonderfully friendly server who was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. A gem in Amsterdam! The lobster bisque was super fresh! I had the mixed grill, and all seafood are like from fresh water!! My daughter has the salmon!

It was great to be back at The Seafood Bar 🦪 Across the whole chain, the service is consistently good and reliable. I was lucky to get a table without a reservation. The menu is huge, but this time I went for mussels, paired with Dutch-style fries with mayo and an alcohol-free Chardonnay. Simple, classic and very satisfying 🤌

I love seafood bar, food is always great, we never feel rushed to order and waiters take time to explain menu, atmosphere is very comfortable, music is nice but not too loud, so you can speak easily, and has good vibes. Especially now around Christmas with all the decorations.

We had a wonderful experience at The Seafood Bar on Ferdinand Bolstraat. The grilled squid and the fish & chips were excellent—perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Even the coffee was very good. Romy was a great host and made our visit extra enjoyable with her friendly attitude and excellent service. She was attentive, professional, and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Redian was amazing, one of the best pasta I've ever eaten.

My husband and I had a wonderful meal. The service was top notch from our main server Tassha, the bartender, and the food runners. We had fresh catch (sea bass) which they flillet at our table and the combination seafood dinner that included several types of fish, shrimp, prawns, clams. We had some wine, delicious bread, asparagus, and potatoes. We enjoyed watching the chefs cook about 10 feet from our table. We would definitely recommend this restaurant for their food.

The king crab we pay 85 euros was empty 2 legs Whole Lobster has 10 gr meat I see my platter on the shelf and the waiter brings our plate 20 minutes later We waste our one night at Amsterdam

Come here often, but that will stop. Last night I ordered the King crab (EUR 85,-) and I asked specifically if the 300 grams are 300 grams, and if it wouldn't be too much work. Was promised it would be all fine. When the plate arrived, I was disappointed. It had the skinniest legs on it you can imagine. And it was a lot of work to get to some crab meat. When I mentioned this to the waiter, she said "shall I get the scale to show you it is 300 grams?". I believe it is 300 grams worth of shell, yes. When I settled the bill, I would have expected something of a gesture, but to make it worse: the payment terminal forced me to enter a tip. There was no button that said "no tip".. it showed only gradually growing percentages of tip... and had to scroll down to see the option "other". Which I used.

Decent place for seafood in the city center. Relaxed but also a bit boring if you ask me

Came here for a birthday celebration. The seafood platter was excellent, all very fresh and tasty. The Asian mussels dish was also a nice surprise, and the sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy and fluffy inside. Special shoutout to Romy who made the experience wonderful for us!

Not only was the food AMAZING, we got the grill dish for 2 and the fruit the mer, our server Lucas was super super attendant to us. We mentioned at the beginning of our dinner that my mother was allergic to garlic and he made sure that he communicated to the chefs our needs. The atmosphere of the restaurant was super pleasant too! Definitely would come back!

Very different than the front of house welcome, who didn't particularly make us feel at home nor showed interest even though we had reserved. Mari at the front! The seafood was as usual (not my first time at one of these franchises), fresh and tasty. Particularly liked the atmosphere in this particular one, as compared to the other 2 Seafood bars I went to. Stylish and clean.

A frankly disappointing experience. The seafood was largely pre-packed and far from fresh, most items tasted like they came straight out of supermarket plastic bags. Despite the high prices, the quality was “okay-ish” at best and nowhere near what you’d expect from a place that markets itself as a seafood restaurant. Service was slow because the place is understaffed, and our bill even included an item we never received. Tables are packed tightly, making the space loud and uncomfortable, and the overall vibe feels more like a food factory than a cozy restaurant. Good reviews online don’t reflect reality; there are many far better options nearby. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I visited the restaurant on 31 October 2025. What a fantastic meal! The grilled sea bass was perfectly cooked, which was crispy skin and tender flesh, beautifully complemented by fresh herbs and a zesty lemon. The Dutch-style Kibbeling were golden and crispy on the outside, yet wonderfully tender inside. And those french fries, which were crisp, golden and paired brilliantly with the tangy ketchup. A special shout-out to Romy for her attentive and warm service, and it truly made the experience even more enjoyable. Can’t wait to return!

Nice, modern place, food good but certainly nothing above average. Prices okay. Unfortunately, the cold air from the ceiling (air conditioning) drips down the walls, and they don't seem to be able to adjust it. A few of us put on jackets. That really needs to improve.

Fresh seafood, friendly service, but definitely in the higher price range. The salad without dressing, just with fresh lemon, wasn't really my favorite.

The food was great and Milica is such a talalented waiter and a hospitable person.

Prompt service by our friendly server Milisa! We arrived half an hour early and was given our table. It was my second time having dinner and the quality of the grilled platter was just as good as I remember which was great as I recommended it to my boss who was with us this time. I didn’t enjoy the mocktail so much but my colleagues loved the beer on tap. Overall, a great experience.

We got a ton of food including a massive seafood tower and it was excellent, our server was Milica and she did a splendid job even with all of our annoying questions.

We have to wait one hour to get our food. Service is miserable.

I was here to have a nice meal, it was super delicious, Waldemar was super hospitable and gave us good recommendations about the food.
