We dined at Visaandeschelde on Friday July 4th and had a fantastic meal, as always! Keep up the good work, because this leaves you wanting more!

Had a particularly nice evening at Visaandeschelde. Enjoyed the good service and the top dishes and matching wines.

1st time back since Covid opening in summer of 2021. Hottest day of the year so far on their terrace. Difficult to remember back to then but everything was super. We took a la carte starting with a little cavier, then smoked eel, and tuna and fois gras , for mains half a lobster and tuna tataki with soft shelled crab, finishing off with pinnacolde ananas, and scrompino (everything Lemmon). Everything was very delicious, well presented and top service.

Top restaurant. Food is incredibly good, and the staff is very friendly. Definitely recommended to go there!

Can't that lady Doenjar just leave, what arrogance. She really ruined the atmosphere at our table. They're not coming.

The performance does not correspond to the Michelin or Gault Millau rating. The service is slow and unmotivated, the food is mediocre and in no way commensurate with the price. the ambience is moderate. The criticism is received without any significant emotions. most like an overpriced tourist trap!

El personal de camarera se equivocó en mi pedido y tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para nuestro plato principal. Cuando llegó hacía casi frío así que tuve que pedir que se calentara. Dos platos estaban demasiado salados y demasiado condimentados. 3 horas es mucho tiempo para disfrutar de solo un entrante y un plato principal, que es lo que mi marido ordenó. Los bouches divertidos eran sabrosos, al igual que el pan y la mantequilla miso, pero me fui cansado y frustrado.

We had a great meal, it was a nice relaxing evening for us, partly because of the staff. From oysters and Frito Misto to delicious tuna and Bouillabaisse. We were at table 6. And I would like to thank the Chef and his team for the delicious “extra” asparagus. Highly recommended. Top!

Very friendly staff and delicious ice cream.

The food: pricey (you know this in advance) and super tasty and real pictures. The staff: Very hospitable, eye for detail and friendly. Terrace: Wonderful spot full of conviviality. Wine: The two whites by the glass from Italy were great. Recommended for all fishing enthusiasts.

In town for only a few days and a local friend recommended it to us - it was tremendous start to finish. Excellent Champagne to begin, fresh local oysters, dinner, dessert, every course a winner. Wish we lived here to make this our regular place!

Empezamos con ostras 3 cada uno. Fueron servidos perfectamente fríos. Mi primo pidió la comida de 4 platos, yo tenía 5 platos y compartimos el postre. Fue absolutamente excepcional! El servicio fue de primera categoría. Fue la cena perfecta para nuestra primera noche en Amsterdam.

Very nice restaurant near the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. Parking is easy but you do have to pay (option could be the Olympic Stadium). The place has a long history, you need a reservation to find a table because it’s packed. If you like fish; go! It was very good, nice attentive staff and the food was just really tasty and innovative. All the dishes we tasted were great and high on taste. Wine was excellent. Just a very enjoyable experience!

It is unimaginable that such a restaurant sells water from the tap, with or without sparkling. Micro plastics with or without bubbles. Other than that it was fantastic.

Once again we ate a delicious fruit de mer and drank a beautiful white wine! The fish was delicious and the wine list is very extensive. The service is always good and the staff are always friendly. I can recommend this restaurant.

An evening at "Vis aan de Schelde" was once again a fantastic seafood/fish experience. With delicious, unique dishes, very special combinations, and of course the pike-perch on the Chef's menu. From amuses, starters, main courses and desserts. All that combined with a very well recommended wine. A great ambiance and exceptional service from all the staff. Truly a privilege to enjoy this wonderful dinner with friends. Thank you on behalf of all of us. We will be certainly be back in the near future.

Gezellige, warme en professionele bediening bij aankomst. Lekkere broodachrige snacks en snel geholpen. 4 gangen chefs menu genomen. De twee tussen gerechten en hoofdgerecht waren echt heel bijzonder. 10 jaar geleden voor het laatst geweest. Toen indruk gemaakt en deze keer weer. We komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Vrij zakelijke inrichting van dit visrestaurant. Plezierige bediening en uitstekende verse vis. Lekkere amuses en goede Sashimi. Halve kreeft is goed, maar niet heel speciaal. Sancerre is goede combinatie. Espresso goede afsluiting.

Vis aan de Schelde – A memorable evening with delicious dishes and a warm atmosphere Our visit to Vis aan de Schelde in Amsterdam was a culinary experience not to be forgotten. The restaurant managed to impress on all fronts: from the hospitable service to the refined dishes and the cozy ambiance. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The atmosphere in the restaurant is stylish and modern, with an open kitchen and maritime accents on the walls. The tables were attractively set with candlelight and elegant wine glasses, which immediately created an intimate setting. What was particularly striking was the excellent service. The waiters were not only professional and attentive, but also brought a relaxed, cheerful energy to the table. This was clearly visible in the spontaneous and friendly contact with our family, as can be seen in the photos. There was room for a joke and a smile, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Culinary delight The dishes were sublimely prepared and tastefully balanced. The first course consisted of a beautifully presented dish with sea urchin, beef and crispy apple strips. The combination of savory and fresh flavors was surprising and delicious. Another highlight was a sophisticated plate of what looked like a modern interpretation of takoyaki (Japanese octopus balls), topped with dried tuna flakes and a flavorful sauce. The textures and flavors were in perfect harmony. We enjoyed carefully selected wines with these dishes, which brought out the flavors even better. The extensive wine list offered plenty of choice, and the sommelier provided expert advice. Conclusion Vis aan de Schelde is an absolute must for lovers of fish and refined dishes. The combination of excellent service, a warm ambiance and culinary delights makes it the perfect place for a special dinner, such as a family gathering. The evening was a success and will be remembered for a long time!

Top quality food, probably best fish restaurant in Amsterdam. From the amuse to the coffee, every detail is so nice taken care of. Luckily they do not aim for a Michelin star, so prices stay affordable... Makes me think of Dôme sur Mer in Antwerp, another legend worth a visit if you like exquisite food and service. Congrats!

Really very good food. I had a vegetarian menu with lots of small starters. Everything was really very fine and special. After dessert, sweet snacks were served, almost like chocolates or cookies. Everything is very small, but extremely tasty.

Mi esposa reservó una mesa en este restaurante cuando estábamos en Amsterdam para ver en el Año Nuevo. Ella pre-ordenó el plato de mariscos y estamos muy contentos de que lo hicimos como toda la noche fue una experiencia gastronómica increíble! El servicio era de primera clase y la comida era de la más alta calidad! El plato de comida de mar era enorme con lo más fresco de la comida de mar - langosta , cangrejo , ostras y toda una plétora de otros mariscos fueron totalmente disfrutados con gusto 😋 sin duda volveremos cuando en la zona y no dude en recomendar este restaurante!

Había sido recomendado este lugar hace años y nunca llegó a ir. Si hubiera sabido lo que iba a conseguir, nunca me habría tomado tanto tiempo. Los dos pedimos el menú del chef y un plato era mejor que el siguiente - seguro que teníamos nuestros favoritos (los míos los raviolis y mi esposa les encanta el patín) , pero todo era fantástico, el equipo de camareros atentos - no podría haber pedido mejor noche de fiesta.

I had lunch here with a pre-ordered fruits de mer platter (for 1 person). The razor clams in particular stood out in terms of taste, I have never tasted them so tasty (fresh) anywhere. And, a detail, but telling: the mayonnaise was really good. Attentive service. Biggest minus in terms of atmosphere: very noisy.

Sunday afternoon a special menu, a tasting of 10 dishes with different wines. That is Sunday at its best, we thought it was delicious and enjoyed the beautiful combinations. Delicious sharing, in the photos you can see the wonderfully fresh dishes. Highly recommended, only on Sunday this beautiful lunch!!

I had a wonderful time dining here! I came alone, and even though I was just a party of one I felt like a valued customer and very welcomed. The service was fantastic and the 3 course meal was absolutely delicious. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and tasted divine. Definitely recommend to anyone!!

We dine here often, and the experience is usually exceptional. This time, however, the meal was about 60-80% of what we’ve come to expect. The oysters were fantastic, and my bouillabaisse was excellent, with thoughtful advice on the wine pairing as well. Unfortunately, the tuna tataki missed the mark—it was too salty, and the portion felt quite small for the price of €42.50. We’ll be back, as this place generally delivers a great dining experience, but hope to see consistency back up to the usual high standard."

Zeer teleurstellend; eerst bijna een uur gewacht voor voorgerecht; voorgerecht "salade Vis a/d Schelde" waren ze de kreeft vergeten (!). Tong droog en te zout....teruggestuurd. Dit is niet de eerste keer. Bediening zeer matig. Dit was mijn laaste bezoek aan Vis a/s Schelde. Jammer want ooit was het top !!

It had been two years since I last ate here. This restaurant has not lost any of its quality and originality, it was another very nice evening.

Service and food are great. The only downside is the lights of the cars at the traffic lights that shine in annoyingly. But that's just a blemish on a great evening.

Fish and seafood of very good quality. Good balance between traditional dishes and original and innovative dishes. I tried the tasting menu and I really liked it (excellent prawn tartar, very good bottarga, an interesting scallop risotto...). However, desserts do not seem to be their forte; At least the one I tried was a redundancy of sugar.

Ze hebben geen sliptong,zalm,schol en het is een visrestaurant.ze kwamen eens niet vragen of alles naar wens is.patat zo zout.kreeft weinig voor die prijs..moet voor koekje bij dekoffie betalen.koffieverkeerd4,50 en 7 euro op de bon watopzicht niet erg is,maar het moest gezegd worden.jaren terug was het goed.het ergste vond ik dat de service zeer slecht is.

Sashimi era bueno aceptar el atún era pescado. La bisquería de mariscos era horrible. Sabía a quemado y había dos camarones pequeños y nada más. Vi otros platos que se veían bien pero no recomendaría estos.

A fantastic restaurant, delicious food, I think the staff and kitchen staff are great. It's a shame that people who don't eat shellfish are a bit more frugal, but a little more creativity is needed.

Really creative and delicious food! Especially for lunch on a sunny Sunday... What more could you want? If you are afraid that the concept of "shared dishes" is a bit of a joke, I can tell you with confidence that this is certainly not the case! A walk around the block through Beatrixpark is very welcome afterwards. ;)

Éramos un grupo bastante grande pero el servicio era muy muy lento , tanto que habiendo empezado a las 7 . 30 pm Tuve que salir a las 9 . 30 pm solo habiendo tenido un par de cursos. Lo que teníamos era muy bueno.

Oh my goodness this restaurant is so good. My husband and I had the 5 course chef’s tasting menu and it was to die for. The wine pairings were spot on and the staff was attentive and very nice. It rivals the 5 star and Michelin restaurants we’ve dined at in the States. Run don’t walk y’all to Vissandschelde. It’s fantastic.

人気の高級シーフード店ということで期待して行ったが、ひどく失望した。 特に、クチコミのおすすめが多かったブイヤベースがまずかった。スープはぬるく、具の魚のソテーは身質がネチャッとして風味がまったくしない、マテ貝は身が痩せ細って、こちらも風味なし。時間の限られる観光の合間、北海の海の幸を期待してわざわざ行ったが悲しくなった。前菜のグラブラックスはよかった。アルチザンブレッドなるパンも高いばかりでパッとしない。サービスも良いわけでなく、こんなも店がなぜクチコミ評価が高いのか分からない。チップ含めて90ユーロの値打ちはまったくなかった。
