Había sido recomendado este lugar hace años y nunca llegó a ir. Si hubiera sabido lo que iba a conseguir, nunca me habría tomado tanto tiempo. Los dos pedimos el menú del chef y un plato era mejor que el siguiente - seguro que teníamos nuestros favoritos (los míos los raviolis y mi esposa les encanta el patín) , pero todo era fantástico, el equipo de camareros atentos - no podría haber pedido mejor noche de fiesta.

I had lunch here with a pre-ordered fruits de mer platter (for 1 person). The razor clams in particular stood out in terms of taste, I have never tasted them so tasty (fresh) anywhere. And, a detail, but telling: the mayonnaise was really good. Attentive service. Biggest minus in terms of atmosphere: very noisy.

Sunday afternoon a special menu, a tasting of 10 dishes with different wines. That is Sunday at its best, we thought it was delicious and enjoyed the beautiful combinations. Delicious sharing, in the photos you can see the wonderfully fresh dishes. Highly recommended, only on Sunday this beautiful lunch!!

I had a wonderful time dining here! I came alone, and even though I was just a party of one I felt like a valued customer and very welcomed. The service was fantastic and the 3 course meal was absolutely delicious. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and tasted divine. Definitely recommend to anyone!!

We dine here often, and the experience is usually exceptional. This time, however, the meal was about 60-80% of what we’ve come to expect. The oysters were fantastic, and my bouillabaisse was excellent, with thoughtful advice on the wine pairing as well. Unfortunately, the tuna tataki missed the mark—it was too salty, and the portion felt quite small for the price of €42.50. We’ll be back, as this place generally delivers a great dining experience, but hope to see consistency back up to the usual high standard."

Zeer teleurstellend; eerst bijna een uur gewacht voor voorgerecht; voorgerecht "salade Vis a/d Schelde" waren ze de kreeft vergeten (!). Tong droog en te zout....teruggestuurd. Dit is niet de eerste keer. Bediening zeer matig. Dit was mijn laaste bezoek aan Vis a/s Schelde. Jammer want ooit was het top !!

It had been two years since I last ate here. This restaurant has not lost any of its quality and originality, it was another very nice evening.

Service and food are great. The only downside is the lights of the cars at the traffic lights that shine in annoyingly. But that's just a blemish on a great evening.

Fish and seafood of very good quality. Good balance between traditional dishes and original and innovative dishes. I tried the tasting menu and I really liked it (excellent prawn tartar, very good bottarga, an interesting scallop risotto...). However, desserts do not seem to be their forte; At least the one I tried was a redundancy of sugar.

Definitely worth the visit if you are a fish lover.

Ze hebben geen sliptong,zalm,schol en het is een visrestaurant.ze kwamen eens niet vragen of alles naar wens is.patat zo zout.kreeft weinig voor die prijs..moet voor koekje bij dekoffie betalen.koffieverkeerd4,50 en 7 euro op de bon watopzicht niet erg is,maar het moest gezegd worden.jaren terug was het goed.het ergste vond ik dat de service zeer slecht is.

Sashimi era bueno aceptar el atún era pescado. La bisquería de mariscos era horrible. Sabía a quemado y había dos camarones pequeños y nada más. Vi otros platos que se veían bien pero no recomendaría estos.

A fantastic restaurant, delicious food, I think the staff and kitchen staff are great. It's a shame that people who don't eat shellfish are a bit more frugal, but a little more creativity is needed.

Really creative and delicious food! Especially for lunch on a sunny Sunday... What more could you want? If you are afraid that the concept of "shared dishes" is a bit of a joke, I can tell you with confidence that this is certainly not the case! A walk around the block through Beatrixpark is very welcome afterwards. ;)

Éramos un grupo bastante grande pero el servicio era muy muy lento , tanto que habiendo empezado a las 7 . 30 pm Tuve que salir a las 9 . 30 pm solo habiendo tenido un par de cursos. Lo que teníamos era muy bueno.

Oh my goodness this restaurant is so good. My husband and I had the 5 course chef’s tasting menu and it was to die for. The wine pairings were spot on and the staff was attentive and very nice. It rivals the 5 star and Michelin restaurants we’ve dined at in the States. Run don’t walk y’all to Vissandschelde. It’s fantastic.

人気の高級シーフード店ということで期待して行ったが、ひどく失望した。 特に、クチコミのおすすめが多かったブイヤベースがまずかった。スープはぬるく、具の魚のソテーは身質がネチャッとして風味がまったくしない、マテ貝は身が痩せ細って、こちらも風味なし。時間の限られる観光の合間、北海の海の幸を期待してわざわざ行ったが悲しくなった。前菜のグラブラックスはよかった。アルチザンブレッドなるパンも高いばかりでパッとしない。サービスも良いわけでなく、こんなも店がなぜクチコミ評価が高いのか分からない。チップ含めて90ユーロの値打ちはまったくなかった。

Delicious 'Fish from the Market' at Vis aan de Schelde. Seawolf (or Seawolf-like). With two special appetizers, a perfect light lunch. Operation also very adequate. It was busy, but we didn't have to wait long and we received plenty of pleasant attention.

My all time favorite fish restaurant in Amsterdam. Refined dining in a relaxed setting. Amazing.

I was here for the first time on April 29, 1999, I realized when I had lunch here again yesterday. Always excellent. And beautiful Timorasso on the map!

Let's start with the food. I got as starter a shellfish bisque while some others got some sashimi and the rest got oysters. The Oyster were really good and the sashimi too, though the latter was only 6 slices. The bisque was terribile, It tasted like burnt fish and was very nauseating. For main course i got the fresh fish of the day, Red Bream, with kimchi and a whatever sauce. Most of the others present got some tuna tataki on noodles and stuff. The fish was good but scarce in both servings. Regarding the kimchi i have to say that it is and insult to korean cousine. Regarding the service, im sorry but you wont get a good evaluation from me. The staff Is corteous and all but they did some mistake i cant really forgive. The staff come often to your table to fill your wine and water glasses, this would be good if they didnt spill some on the tablet every time and if the wine would stay cold out of the "ice bucket". They keep filling your glasses with wine that goes warm and the bring another bottle to ruin. For the record we were drink ing White wine that was supposed to be consumed cold. As for the price id like to say that Is way too High.

Enjoyed an exceptionally nice lunch on the terrace. Class apart from chef Michiel Deenink. We opted for the 3-course Chef's Menu. Every dish was a surprise, in terms of taste, presentation and quality. Enjoy a beautifully set table, delicious appetizers (2x), brioche bun with exquisite herb butter and thin home-made “crackers” with a dip. Top table service.

The shellfish in the bouillabaisse was thin and not tasty.

A truly fantastic meal with a 3-course menu. Pure and simple flavors together become real taste sensations. The service was top notch with a lot of attention and also well prepared. It is a restaurant in the higher segment, with corresponding prices. But it was worth every euro.

The Dutch Seafood Restaurant is a true hidden gem in the heart of Amsterdam. I was pleasantly surprised by their dedication to the freshness and quality of the seafood. Each dish is an explosion of sea flavors, from smoked eel to mussel soup in white wine sauce. The welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff complete the flawless dining experience. Without a doubt, a must for seafood lovers visiting the city.

I had dinner here with colleagues and it was a great experience. Delicious food, a taste sensation / experience - really great! The restaurant also takes allergies very seriously. Nice and friendly service with humor. The explanation of the dishes and wine made it complete.

Excellent place, both for business and casual lunch and dinner. Food is good to great, and the service is on point. One big negative is the acoustics, it seems very hard to get that right. With a bigger party (3+) it’s quite hard to have an integral conversation.

You can eat it well. Good quality. What I thought was a shame was that there were 3 dishes no longer available because they had sold out. And it was half past eight... then you choose something that was not immediately your choice. But great restaurant, nice service.. atmosphere yes, can't describe.. nice but not warm. A bit different than I am used to in Amsterdam. It's not cheap, but the price-quality ratio is certainly good.

Solid seafood restaurant in Amsterdam. The kitchen is great, with very good food, both in taste and presentation, and excellent wine options. However, the cuisine follows the recent food hypes: (canadian) lobster, oysters, and Japanese cuisine. The variety of fish on the menu is rather limited: only a 'exclusive' (ray) and 'catch of the day' (gurnard) are available. It's unclear where the seafood is sourced. Not surprising in Amsterdam, but a bit of a disappointment, considering that both the North Sea and Schelde are not that far away and offer plenty of excellent seasonal catches. It perhaps reflects the Dutch appetite: we don't eat fish anymore, and if we do, we prefer foreign dishes. Service is classic Dutch: functional and sufficient, but nothing particularly friendly or hospitable. The atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant makes up for a lack of attention to service. Prices are very steep, but predictable in Amsterdam context. All in all, it leaves a great kitchen with only an average dining experience.

Lovely service and topnotch food ! Variety of sea food integrated from all around the world. Definitely a must try spot for sea food in Amsterdam. Only downside is that personally I found the desserts quite expensive.

Very fresh seafood. The negative side is for that price level paper table cloths ( come on ). The dessert menu is absolutely on the lower side of price quality.

Tolles Restaurant mit leckeren Meeresfrüchten.

Gisteren was ik bij de lunch uitgenodigd. Om gekweekte tarbot te proeven en keuren. Mijn complimenten aan de chef-kok en zijn team. En de bediening. Heb eigenlijk nog nooit zo lekker gegeten in een restaurant. De prijs is het zeker waard. Groetjes erik-jan-kruyssen.

Went there over the weekend with family. Was a solid experience and really enjoyed the food. We spent more than 3+ hours there with a relaxed meal. The service (especially the first server) was super excellent and very informative. In addition to doing a great job explaining stuff, she also educated us on the "bop" system of wine pairing (i.e. a formal method of getting only 1/2 a pour). We ordered the five course chef menu, and she told us that if we were getting too full we could reduce the wine pairing and/or food courses at any time and they would modify it. The courses were excellent, the ":charity" snack bite (a shrimp puff pastry) was a great bite, so was the sea-bass with beet-root sauce. the gambas was excellent also. My niece is pregnant, and they did a great job modifying the dishes to avoid any raw food for her. In short, definitely worth a visit. Its a bit expensive, but we felt it was totally worth it.

Voorbeeld hoe de horeca moet zijn! Fantastische en deskundige service, goede wijnkaart en heerlijke gerechten. Leuk is ook om op de plaatsen naast de keuken te zitten, hier zie je hoe gepassioneerd wordt gekookt en de borden worden opgemaakt.

The food is very good, but the service ist not! I was there 2 times, the food is very good, but I didn’t felt comfortable! I don’t like the attitude of the waiters there. 1. don’t roll your eyes 2. calm down YOU are in ,,service“ not in a battle! 3. if you feel like you don’t want to serve people food, because it’s not good enough for you QIUT and go for it! We did not felt very well there, because of this attitude the ,,waitress“ were giving us. In the end I regret tipping her.

Disappointing experience - way overpriced for the service and quality of food. Tasting menu sounded good but below average, everything was served with unnecessary sauces overpowering the fish. Staff nice, but unskilled and slow. Poor wine knowledge. Orders were mixed up. Ordering and getting anything took very long despite there being a lot of staff and rather few guests on a Sunday night. The vibe was chaotic, we were even asked to switch tables so that a bigger group could be seated. Not worth the money.

Het eten is heerlijk en ziet er mooi uit, maar veels te weinig en veeels te duur. Het hoofdgerecht was gnocchi met vis. Toen het bord geserveerd werd lagen er slechts 5 gnocchi stukjes op het bord. Erg jammer want je betaald echt mega veel.

Wederom heerlijke avond Vis ad Schelde. Als je visliefhebber bent is dit restaurant een absolute aanrader, dit in combinatie met heerlijke wijnen en goede service. Ik kijk uit naar het volgende bezoek!

Super nice staff. Great and tasty food and good wine (I really recommend the Albariño). It's pricey but very good value for money. The "menu of the day" is a really good and price worthy option. We had four courses and 3 would have been enough, really. Great place.

We had Chefs menu 5courses , everything is very good 5*except desert, my husband and I didn’t like it , it was 3* but maybe it is a matter of personal taste.
