On November 9th, we enjoyed a wonderful autumn sun on the terrace, enjoying excellent mussels with a good white wine (a wide selection, though they should have at least included a red Merlot for those who appreciate it). Exceptionally good service, attentive and friendly. Highly recommended, and it's also nice to sit inside, both downstairs and upstairs!

We had a delicious meal (fish and chips) and the service was fantastic. And there was a chance to have a quiet conversation... Well worth it!

loved the place, great energy. The mussels were very good, I got the roquefort one with fries and it was delicious. Service was also very good even though we had to wait a little to get our drinks but it was rush time so it's understandable and we got offered a free desert in compensation which we appreciated. I have nothing but positive things to say about Mossel & Gin. We received such a warm welcome from the staff and the owner, something I've rarely experienced. There's also a great atmosphere both during dinner and at the parties they sometimes host. And we haven't even mentioned the food and the gin and tonics—they're absolutely delicious. We recommend the passionfruit G&T, the oysters, the eggplant, and the nduja mussels. We'll definitely be back!

Really good quality for money My friend and I had the mussels and a pitcher of gin. Highly recommend the mango and chilli gin, it's delicious. Also definitely try the Japanese style mussels, really innovative and better than the original white wine sauce ones.

What a lovely discovery! Great atmosphere, friendly service. Delicious mussels, and the gin was a surprise. The oysters and shrimp croquettes are also delicious. In short, highly recommended.

The gin was good. I was hoping that the mussels were gonna be better than the first time I went there around 10 yrs ago. The portions are smaller, the flavours a bit underseasoned. Had the nduja flavour just for a change, but it's probably better on a pizza. Next time, I'll stick to the classic. Fries are still excellent.

I could go on and on about how amazing of a dining experience we had at Mossels and Gin. From the generous portions to the delicious sauces to the locally sourced ingredients to the treasured and rare conversation with the owner, this restaurant delivers like no other I’ve been to in a long time. Special tip: order the orangecello as a wee nip of dessert liquor to follow your meal.

The mussels were fresh, the Thai sauce was very good, but I’m not so good in eating mussels by hand so I get extremely dirty. It’s really not their fault.

I actually just wanted a gin and tonic. So we stumbled upon Mosel & Von quite by chance. What a stroke of luck! We were delighted with this discovery. The gin and tonic on the first evening turned into a fantastic dinner the very next day. Delicious food, super friendly service, lovely ambiance. A definite recommendation!

Mossel & Gin en Westerpark es un gran lugar para disfrutar de los mejillones, aunque también tienen algunos otros platos en el menú. Estábamos sentados arriba en el entrepiso, que era un poco ruidoso. Servicio fue increíblemente rápido y atento. Aunque deliciosos, los mejillones asiáticos venían con una salsa de curry espesa (un poco demasiado piensa a mi semejanza) , y ambas ollas tenían bastante líquido en el fondo (como en demasiado). En resumen, una experiencia agradable.

Excellent service and delicious mussels. We all had four different flavors of mussels, which were delicious. It was also great that there was a gluten-free option. Because the staff member also has to eat gluten-free, we trusted that everything would be fine. This staff member was also extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We sat under the large red umbrellas, even though it was raining. The atmosphere was very pleasant, with a view of walkers in the park. There's also a lovely garden and some seating inside.

Very nice food, but have to say the salad dressing was very boring with hardly any taste in comparison with all the years before, definately have to change the dressing. The new sauce of the mossels was very good!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident when walking through the park and everything was excellent. The food was delicious (my daughter had a burger and chips and I had a roasted obergine). We can also recommend gin with peaches -the drink was very refreshing.

A cozy and hidden sort of restaurant with specific different flavors of mussels served, located inside Westerpark. They have different Gin&Tonic options. We can put this place next to touristic restaurants in the city in terms of price, and ambience. Their fish burgers are tasty and so mussels with the truffle sauce. rices are slightly above the average, since they are serving seafood. staff are helpful and friendly, service speed is neither fast nor slow. Overall a pretty location for a date or a friend group. There is congestion at the toilet since cabins are limited and not practical to enter.

One point of attention: clean the salt and pepper shakers, too greasy for words. And the Thiase mussels were excellent. The chef does his work with care and dedication. Thank you. El pescado y las patatas fritas, el rollo de langosta, los mejillones al curry, las gambas, las ostras y la hamburguesa estaban todos deliciosos. Everything about Mossel & Gin was great - the food, the vibe, the location and the great service! After dining for 4 days in the main tourist area, this place renewed our faith in Amsterdam!

We've been here a few times and I feel like it's a bit of a hidden gem. Great place to enjoy some shade & a cocktail on a hot day. Food is consistently fresh & the prices are fair. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Excellent service, sweet girls, but food mediocre, roquefort mussels not tasty, tasted more like juniper berries than roquefort and the salad very basic, namely lettuce and rocket with a hint of dressing, was much better two years ago.

In Westerpark, this little bistro offers mussel soups in a variety of ways (the Roquefort ones are special), accompanied by a truly unique selection of gin and tonics. You won't find it in any of the tourist guides; a friend who has lived in Amsterdam for years suggested it to us. Don't miss it!!! The oysters are also worth a visit.

Nice place! We are in the garden. The Thai mussels were our favourite! Prices are reasonable except for the virgin cocktail. This is a regular tonic for 13 euro.

Very good mussels. Even for me someone who has a hard time with seafood and normally prefer not to eat mussels. This is good. If you like sauce and some umami then roquefort is good (South East Asian taste buds). Classic is a bit too bland for me. But if you like to have more of the natural mussel taste then classic is recommended.

Great Vibe, Nice food and drinks. Mussels: Thai flavor and Mutang curry beef stew are the best. Gin: I tried the gin with peach, the taste is refreshing and sweet.

Great food, great atmosphere and the staff was friendly. However, the overall service was substandard. We had to wait a very long time to order, it took a long time for the dishes to arrive and in general there seemed to be little attention for the guests. Clearing the table also took a very long time. An excellent experience, but not necessarily worth repeating.

Urban club in the park of Amsterdam. The place is nice and the food good (above all the Roquefort mussels) but the service this evening was very slow... essentially waiting over an hour for the courses. It's a shame because the place deserves it. Account ok, friendly service.

In het Westerpark leuk zaakje . Personeel is echt heel aardig . Wel even schrikken wat een glas wijn kost (9 euro) . Veel voorgerechten waren niet meer op voorraad omdat het zondag was ? Mosselen helemaal prima maar wel drie dagen buikgriep erna ( kan toeval zijn) . Via en ships vol met graten . Sausjes wel lekker , de bediening is er erg goed . Voor het matige eten , onbreken van gerechten en de prijs geef ik 3 sterren . Zou er niet zo snel nog een keer heen gaan.

Amazing restaurant, perfect for a spring/summer evening with the terrasse. We ordered the Roquefort mussels and the lobster roll, both dishes were delicious. The sides are big enough and everything is super fresh. The cocktails card is perfect, and includes an alcohol-free option! Finally, the service is really good, it was busy the evening we went, and we were really well taken care of.

We had craving for mussel pot so we decided to try this place for dinner. The mussels were fresh, expertly done & tasted just as it should. The lobster roll has a unique twist & surpasses any lobster burger you’d find in London or anywhere else (& priced reasonably too!). Drinks were a great pairing & above all, the staff was friendly & very attentive throughout our meal. Couldn’t recommend it more. 10/10

This restaurant combines 2 of my favorite things: mussels and gin tonics. We had mussels in several kinds of sauce and Gin tonics and the whole dining experience was amazing! I loved the Roquefort mussels as well as the fries. Also, the combination of gin and mussels is absolutely brilliant!! I highly recommend this place.
