This place sells overpriced products. Also refused to fill up my water bottle when I requested them. After 16 Euros for a below mediocre stroopwafel, they could have at least helped us out that much, but no. Also, the main vendor behind the counter has a cold disposition.

Tourist trap!! Don’t go inside, you can’t see the prices, I ordered a gofre and they charled 15 E. When they tell you the price it’s already “warm for you” so you can’t say no anymore. I payed the same amount for my dinner.

Rude staff, we sat down to eat a dessert and they put on the music of their homeland and sang. Their sweet "garbage" is simply stale and overpriced. When we asked the employee for a product list, he replied that there was none. Of course, it's our fault for sitting down and giving value to this chicken coop!!!

Absolutely terrible place. Really loud music and rude staff. We paid €28 for 2 waffles, insane. They definitely saw that we were British tourists and just took the piss. The waffles were taken from display and just heated in a microwave. Not fresh and not tasty. A real shame because they’re in an amazing location. Just a full on scam. AVOID AVOID AVOID

If I could rate lower than 1 star I would! Wish I'd seen the reviews before going in - staff weren't friendly at all, but we ordered some sweet treats anyway and ended up paying €33 for 2x waffles (no ice cream) and a bottle of pop. My waffle was also stale. Absolutely awful place

My my I just love getting up-charged after seeing a different price on the screen that was quickly turned off after I ordered. I DID NOT FEEL PRESSURED AT ALL by the presence of dealers in the back of the store! I wish I could totally go back. Be sure to get "TOP CHURRO'D" as my friends like to call it. Don’t go! They totally ripped off tourists. They charged 3 euros for two strawberries, and 3 yuan for the sauce. It tasted bad and was expensive. It was not fresh. Other stores that cost 10 euros were much better than this one. Don’t buy anything from this store, just a rib off of tourists.

We went there in evening. they charged €42 for two churros with nutella. We only ask for one with sauce and the other without sauce but got two with sauce . We got oasis drink and latte in small cup. The staff were not very friendly. The churros were stale we were barely able to eat any.

How some where can charge 51 euros for 2 lots of churros, 2 can of drink and 2 doughnuts is a joke works out about 2.50 euro each

This store is the biggest rip-off. I ordered a waffle with Nutella and paid €10 for it. The waffle was really small and hard, so it broke into pieces while I was eating it. The employee was also extremely unfriendly. This place actually deserves 0 stars. Don't go there under any circumstances, they make their money from tourists who think they are getting something good for their price!

Fraud, we were in Amsterdam and we went to this store by chance. They charged us 15 euros for a Waffle, I felt cheated, since they didn't list the price and when I saw the receipt for what they had charged me, the seller was no longer there. He would even be ashamed, since he had to charge and run into the premises. If you want a typical waffle, go to the local market located to the south at one of the stops on Metro Line 52. The waffle is freshly made and costs 4 euros with Nutella.

I purchased a portion of white chocolate churros (which was actually poor topping) and a crumble cookie. Prices were not displayed. As for the churros, the flavor wasn't bad, but they cost a whopping €27 for 6/7 pieces! The crumble cookie was tastier and cheaper, only €3, but it was taken from the top of the counter where it had been uncovered and airing for who knows how long. Overall the flavors were acceptable, but due to the very high cost of the churros, the poor hygiene and the fact that the employee at the counter seemed to give more importance to the cell phone rather than to the customers (initially overshadowing my request), I can't give a higher review. Not recommended.

I’d give a 0 star if possible, €24 for a crepe with biscoff and chocolate strawberries on a stick that Tasted awful & couldn’t even give us a fork for the crepe, server was miserable as anything! Strawberries tasted soggy and old and chocolate tasted cheap and stale. Avoid at all costs, all stroop waffles pre made and sat on a stand on the counter. AVOID!!!! We were charged ridiculous amounts for a few cakes. We could have stomached this if they were exceptional however the waffle was not only stale but tasted mouldy and cost 17 euros!!!! The eclair also had the same mouldy taste. As there is minimal pricing on display you really are caught out at the point of payment. We actually thought we’d misheard and should have walked out at this point. Absolutely shocking and a poor representation of Amsterdam which has been so positive except for this! To be honest you could have knocked someone out with the waffle it was that stale…. So only go if you are looking a lethal weapon

This place should be closed down. As others have said - no prices are advertised so you think you will be charged a fair price. I was buying for me and a friend and felt obliged to pay. 37 euros for 3 cakes that were stale and tasted disgusting. I will not be leaving this feedback just here but will contact official bodies to take the complaint further. Ripping tourists off with below standard products is appalling.

I hope someone reads this first: The waffles and donut tasted like they had been sitting for a long time. We bought a donut, a waffle and a coke for €29 - way too expensive for what you get. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was not good, neither the donut nor the waffle tasted good. DO NOT GO HERE. I don't know if it was the owner who waited on us or just some disgusting and dishonest worker. Ordered one Stoopwaffal with caramel and nuts and was charged 15 Euros. Then he ran card through again and it ended up being 17.40 euros. I disputed the 2nd charge and got a credit. We asked for receipt twice but no itemization and NO PRICES posted. Service deplorable. We should have just walked out without paying when the item was rung up but afraid of a confrontation which is why they can get by with this. I should have read reviews first and they definitely take advantage of tourists and many of which I imagine are drunk and stoned. I don't know what the laws are in Amsterdam for food establishments but they deserve to be shut down. What we should have paid should not have been more than 6 euros at the most. Disgusting experience. I recommend nothing here and don't appreciate the help blowing smoke in front of the food. See photo.

They charge you whatever they want, for a waffle and crepe 34 euros, if you say something to them they get rude, dirty tables.
