The most delicious sweets in all of Amsterdam are here!!!!!! Really!!! I'm telling you this because I make a lot of sweets and have tried almost everything!! THESE SWEETS THAT THIS SHOP HAS ARE AWESOME!!

12 damn euros for a waffle! I had no idea how much it cost, I just paid trusting it would be less.

It's a scam. They don't show you the total and just charge your card. They don't give you a receipt, and the product prices aren't displayed. Luckily, I was able to contact my bank to cancel the order.

Give me my money back! €9 for a pastry and €4 for a coffee. I'd rather not say what I would have spent that money on, but my friend and I are leaving VERY disappointed. My friends from the dental clinic already know (we're here on a business trip) and they won't be coming back for breakfast at this place.

Absolute scam, coffee and dry chocolate, microwaved for €25. The gentleman doesn't mention the amount, but only accepts debit cards. Payment is mandatory, and cash is also accepted. Stay away from this place. Dirty, filthy, and stale food.

SCAM....DO NOT GO HERE Unfortunately, I can't give less than one star. I ordered coffee in a paper cup and ate two rather large chocolate pastries on a piece of cardboard at a dirty, uncleaned table. The whole impression at the back where the tables are is not exactly fresh, rather filthy, while the front is very inviting. I paid by bank card and didn't see the amount; the statement showed 25 euros. Prices weren't displayed in the store. This is a real scam and absolutely unacceptable. The quality was reasonable, but again, this is a real scam to rip off your customers like this in a third-rate establishment.

The place is filthy, they haven't even wiped the tables, there's no soap in the restroom, they probably do something during the day without washing their hands with soap, I'm not even going to write down what we ate.

Warning: It's a total scam! It's a complete rip-off, €12 for a large biscuit! A total rip-off. No prices or descriptions of what you're buying! Please avoid them at all costs and visit local, genuine "Dutch" bakeries!

Hair on the candy on display, no taste - it was just disgustingly sweet... Everything is abnormally dirty, tables, seats, floor & the walk to the toilet is so scary. Overpriced anyway, the goods are left lying around in the middle of the aisle - absolutely terrible. And there was no soap in the toilets - so it's really disgusting how the staff attack the goods...

We stopped for a quick breakfast. We ordered two coffees, two (small) sandwiches, and a donut, and the whole thing cost over €30. The food was terrible; the donut had been reheated at least five days before, and the sandwiches had been heated in an oven... A very bad experience. Not to mention how unprofessional they were and how quickly they tried to sell us everything without us even having a chance to think. I don't recommend it at all. We made a lot of mistakes when we went in, a 0.

In the morning, around 8 a.m., I bought two juices, two croissants with cheese, a cinnamon roll, and an apple turnover. I had to pay 31 euros. Well, it was all old and tough. So, it went straight in the trash. What terrible service. Oh, and if I wanted coffee, I had to use the self-service machine... that was truly the worst. Where has the quality of a product gone? Why cheat your customer when you already know they'll have to pay so much?

I had a Kinder cheesecake, HORRIBLE, the price for this little cake: 10€!!!!

Currently sat in the restaurant. Chairs are filthy. Unfortunately fell for the tourist trap looks nice on the outside. Inside not great, prices are steep. Ordered a cheese cake he microwaved never seen that done before anywhere also had a frappe done terribly a bit of childish coffee with majority cream on top no ice won’t come again ever.

I came here for the churros. Unfortunately, it was a spontaneous decision, which is why I didn't read the reviews beforehand. The place isn't exactly the prettiest, and the staff are very unfriendly. I couldn't find any prices, so we ended up paying €22 for five churros and two donuts. The churros tasted very greasy, which quickly made me feel sick. They're only slightly warmed up and not freshly made. Also, instead of cinnamon sugar, there was just a bit of mushy powdered sugar, so it wasn't particularly tasty. The churros at Burger King are much better. The donuts also tasted pretty stale. Very overpriced and terrible place, don't come here!!!

Ordered watermelon bubble tea with tapioka and some sort of weird stroopwaffle-normal waffle with chocolate pastry. The pastry's not horrible, but definitely not worth 11€. The bubble tea is actually water with a bit of sugar. I didn't get it with tapioka but with some jelly. It is cheap, but really - get a better bubble tea, even if it's more expensive, this is just not worh it I'd avoid if I could. Plenty of better spots around. I give 4 stars for climate because you can feel robbed when you pay here, just like an average amsterdam tourist.

6 Euros for a stroopwafel is a crime, especially for a microwaved one. My bfs order was mistaken and bubble tea tastes like plain sugar. Water costs like a mint tea - the price count is very odd. Tables are dirty. The cashier is friendly though. Generally would avoid if I knew

The sweets look very attractive, creatively decorated and topped with chocolate, chocolate bars, and candies. It really makes you want to try everything. I tried the Dubai croissant and a cheesecake. The croissant was stale and had no pistachio flavor. It is not worth trying. The cheesecake was much better, but I recommend choosing one without any chocolate topping. The chocolate tasted cheap. Given the high prices, it is better to go somewhere else.

Good crepe and coffee for a quick bite in the morning with a friendly smile behind the counter. If you are looking for someplace fancy, this isn’t it. If you want a quick stop, it was fine!

Place looks attractive from the entrance and the seating is comfortable. However it’s very dirty, doesn’t look like it’s cleaned properly. The food on the displays appears stale and the person behind the counter wasn’t interested when we came into the store. The prices and allergens are not labelled on all the food products. Could do a lot better as has potential.

We bought two bubble teas and the ingredients seemed spoilt so we threw them away - I feel sick ( think the milk was spoilt).

Avoid this place at all costs! We visited Dutch Bakery during King’s Day in Amsterdam and completely fell into the tourist trap. We bought a Stroopwafel for six euros — ridiculously overpriced — and it was absolutely inedible. It had nothing in common with a real, fresh Stroopwafel. The taste and texture were terrible. This shop clearly targets unsuspecting tourists and offers extremely poor quality products. Save your money and go to a real bakery instead!

I have never felt sick from a stroopwafel. Smoke putrid. Prices are absurd!! The gentleman doesn't even say what the total amount is... never experienced it before. Not worth a star!!

Dishonest pricing. There is a price board but 9s are made to look like 2s and 7s are made to look like 1s. Ideally avoid altogether but if you decide to buy, and you pay by card, check they amount they enter before tapping.

Fui con mis amigos a tomar una taza de café (con avena - leche). El cargo total fue de 5 euros. Pagado con Apple Pay. No presentaron un recibo de la compra. Mientras caminaba recibí un mensaje de mi banco: ¡la panadería holandesa había cobrado 500 euros por mi taza de café! The cheesecake was inedible. Dry and sour in taste. Soil limp and soft. And way too expensive. 1 bottle of ice tea, 2 cans of soft drinks, 2 cheesecake, 2x churros and 1 muffin for 49 euros. Churros and muffin were tasty.

Excellent baguettes with choice of fillings and excellent customer service even though shop assistant was by herself. 2 baguettes and coke = 17 euros. Nice seating area at the back. Plenty of desserts available as well as special ‘cakes’ and similar products.

Big scam in terms of prices, a smoothie + a cookie = 16€?!!! Only the price of the smoothie was specified, the arrogant staff made me believe that the cookie was €10… Don’t even go there, no morals!

The best part of this place is looking with your eyes. Tasting with your mouth is a real let down. Not horrible. But definitely not good.

We visited this bakery enticed by the display of cakes in the window shop. We ordered two waffles and were charged a whopping 24 euros. The waffles were tough, so hard that even the fork broke trying to pierce them. I couldn't finish them; they seemed like they had been sitting out for days. I felt ripped off. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the waffles were priced at 6.50 each. That means we were charged double the advertised price. The place was also very dirty, adding to the disappointment of our experience. Beware of this place, tourists.

They charge us more for being tourists and on top of that they treat us as liars for telling them that the marked prices are not the ones charged. I think it's a shame that quarter-final decision.

Loved this little place. Food and sandwiches are made with heart and are tasty. I’m visiting from the states and this place made me feel home. Try the caprese :)

This place is ridiculous and an utter joke. No prices were listed and I ended up paying 24 euros for two drinks and a small pastry. We got served lukewarm drinks with mouldy tapioca, and when we confronted her about it she started acting like she didn’t speak English. The atmosphere was stuffy and it literally stinks like feet in there, and on top of all that we got served by the rudest member off staff I’ve ever met. I do not recommend going here because you basically get scammed and walk out smelling like toes. DO NOT COME HERE!!!

Scammers. 6.50 EUR for 5 churros but they charge you 8 EUR. When confronted they say there is a 1.50 EUR supplement for the chocolate, eventhough this is no where to be seen. STAY AWAY 👍

Apart from the fact that the place was dirty, tables were dirty and not cleared, at first we ignored this issue, but when they gave us the food, which we ordered churros, they put it on us burnt and they wanted to scam us with the price. Een kopje cappuccino, een warme chocomel, een aardbeiengebakje en een puntje lemon cake. Moesten we €25,- afrekenen!! Toen we weggingen toch even op het bord gekeken: cappuccino en chocomel allebei €3,50 dus ook maar even naar de gebakprijs gevraagd. Verkoper riep nonchalant €8,- ACHT euro voor een zielig gebakje! En €16,- plus €7,- is nog altijd €23,- en geen €25,- !! Amsterdam of niet, wat een vuile oplichters! Bah!
