We ended up here during our holiday in Appelscha. What a lovely restaurant. Super friendly, efficient, young, and helpful staff. Pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Great all-you-can-eat concept. A wide variety of Asian dishes that you choose at the table, are prepared in the kitchen, and served at the table. Also delicious sushi. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up eating here two evenings in a row. In short, highly recommended!!!!

We went out for dinner here with 8 colleagues for our company outing, and it was a great success. Even though we were a larger group, everything ran smoothly and the food was served quickly. We ordered various dishes to share, and everyone was very enthusiastic about the quality and taste of the food. The service was friendly, welcoming, and took our group into account very well. The cozy atmosphere made it extra enjoyable and ensured a successful evening with colleagues. Highly recommended for both a casual dinner and a company outing. We will definitely be back!

The food is very good. In addition to the standard Chinese dishes, there are also lesser-known options. There are a surprisingly large number of options with fish or shrimp. You can eat à la carte or all you can eat. The latter follows the well-known 'sushi principle': ordering two dishes at a time until the 2.5 hours are up. My only point of criticism is that with the all-you-can-eat option, service is not very fast, and you really do need those 2.5 hours.

I've been a regular customer here for years and the food is actually always great. The rice noodles are especially recommended: well-seasoned and always fresh. A minor downside is that the spring rolls are sometimes a bit on the greasy side. What I have noticed lately, however, is that the portions have unfortunately become noticeably smaller, while the quality fortunately remains the same. The service is top-notch; my order is always ready exactly at the agreed time. A reliable place for takeout!

All-you-can-eat is possible by ordering tapas. Because it was quiet, we were allowed more than 2 bites per person per round. The food was of very good quality. Order a bit smartly, because you get more of the cheap, filling items. If you share this with someone else, you still find the right balance. So I understand the less positive reviews, but if you order smartly, you can still eat many high-quality dishes. I also understand that you have to pay extra for the more luxurious ice cream, because those were huge bowls of ice cream! We just took 3 rounds of the ‘free’ ice cream. There was nothing wrong with it; it was tastier than most other all-you-can-eat restaurants. If we are ever on vacation here again, we will definitely come back! All the food was delicious! Just go on time and you won't have to wait long for your food.

EATING IN OOSTERWOLDE AT Okura Prices! A trusted and good address for years, but in the current situation far from recommended... Even ordered some dishes a la carte, E.5.00 for three mushrooms, E.8.00 for three shrimps, E.9.00 for 5 pieces of beef (satay stick size). Hence, eating in Oosterwolde at Okura prices! Of course I indicated this immediately, I was told that I should have taken the all you can eat menu... Because apparently those are just the same dishes as a la carte! The staff had to laugh about it, and I understand that, but the owner was serious. And if the quality was now sublime, we might not have been inclined to write a review, but that was not the case either. Typically a case of pity, and not solved well, a cup of coffee would have done a lot of good. We will not be coming back here for the time being!

Lots of choice and really different from the usual tapas. Real Chinese tapas. Hmmmm. Friendly staff who also know what they serve. It was a bit quiet.

I have been coming here with my family for take-away meals for years. If you would ask my opinion 3 years ago. I would definitely give a 5 star review. Unfortunately, over the years the quality of their dishes has deteriorated considerably in terms of taste but also presentation. We used to regularly go wokking in the restaurant. That was always fun. Unfortunately, we notice that the atmosphere and ambiance have also deteriorated considerably. and we only pick up very little Chinese food from this restaurant. Got a takeaway. Wasn't impressed. 3 dishes have the same (basic) sauce and there is hardly any difference in taste. Sateh (1 stick) and sauce nothing special. Bami, straight from the cooking liquid into the container. Topped with an egg and two slices of ham. Tasteless. Price perhaps a bit too low (€18.50)? Throw €5 on top and give the dishes a little more attention and love.

Always fantastic and friendly treatment. All you can eat according to the tapas idea, and you fill in what you want on paper. This means you don't lose your connection with reality on the iPads that are common. Big plus for this modern Chinese!

Wat een vreselijk slechte zaak!! Gezellig met m’n ouders even eten werd een regel rechte ramp! All you can werd uit uitgelegd met in prince kunt u drie dingen bestellen kaartje neer zetten en wij gaan het maken. Error all you can eat is toch al you van eat maar oké toch besteld allemaal wat verschillende dingen en lekker delen met elkaar dachten we, voor mij dochter de gebakken banaan en dan straks wat gezonds Het arme kind heeft 11/2 uur moeten wachten op 4 stukjes banaan en dat nadat we al meerde malen hadden gevraagd of het er bijna aankwam want ze had honger. Wij kregen na wederom de vraag of ons eten er bijna aankwam alles in 1 x en ook de helft nog koud. En dingen die we nooit besteld hadden De eigenaars kwam zelf aan tafel om nieuwe te regelen maar dit stond zo snel weer op tafel dat ik mijn twijfels had! De Peking eend was vet en tandenbrekend knapperig en de gegrilde courgette kon je uitwringen zo vet Toen ik aan gaf af te willen rekenen en weigerde voor mijn dochter te betalen en ook niet voor 4 volwassen omdat het grootse gedeelte geen eten had gekregen was de eigenaar vrij onsportief en begon te dreigen met het bellen van politie! Na wat gediscussieerd te hebben heeft ze toch wat van de prijs afgehaald maar vindt het veel geld van iets wat ik thuis beter kan maken!

By far the best "all you can eat" restaurant in the area. All dishes are prepared with care and you can taste that everything is super fresh. Highly recommended if you like Asian food. Ordering is still analogue here, so no tablet on the table but pen and paper. This gives you more interaction with the controls. Who always seems neat and friendly. If you don't go for the all you can eat formula, you can also eat a la carte here. Parking is no problem here, there is ample free parking. If you come with an electric car, there are charging stations at your disposal.

We hebben van de kaart besteld. Bleek dat je ook all you can eat kon bestellen, maar daar werd ons niks over verteld. Ik had Foe Yong Hai met nasi. Het viel mij erg tegen. Er zat nauwelijks smaak aan, het was net genoeg en ik moest er 22 euro voor betalen. Klein kommetje rijst met bord foe Yong hai . Denk niet dat we weer heen gaan.

As a resident of Oosterwolde, I regularly visit the Tzong Dong with family or friends. I absolutely love the all you can eat concept. You tick on a card which dishes you want to order. 3 per person. And these dishes are really delicious 🤤 It's a kind of tapas idea. They will see us again often at this restaurant 😄😄

Unfortunately, I ordered the most disappointing monthly menu on Saturday without pork. Unfortunately, it's okay, it was wrong, it did contain pork, I tried to call about it, but unfortunately they suddenly can't understand me anymore (poor connection?) It has been a long time since I picked up a meal here. I knew from experience that the Mihoen and Tjap Tjoy dishes were reasonable. I won't order anything else here again.... I chose the Tjap Tjoy with chicken fillet and white rice. It became a disappointment. The Tjap Tjoy didn't have much flavor, it seemed boiled instead of stir-fried and the chicken fillet was a few poor thin pieces of chicken. I've had takeout here before and it was never really good, but this time it was very bad. Enough of this restaurant for a long time.

We regularly visit this restaurant where you can enjoy fantastic food. Had dinner tonight. A real mockery. Where do I begin. After our last visit, an "all you can eat" concept was chosen. However, you can also eat from the menu (but it contains exactly the same dishes, so you won't gain anything from that). Starter......bland soup so asked for sambal. Spoon was stuck to the bottom and side of the jar, which was almost empty. Asked for different sambal. (which also had a dirty spoon with cake in it. (Is it really that difficult to put a clean spoon in it?) Then ordered casave prawn crackers because they were always so delicious (so I got prawn crackers that were smacked on the table). This was stale and I think it came straight from an expired bag. All dishes were then really not edible. What was supposed to be spicy was bland (I didn't dare to use the sambal anymore), onions were dry, meat was cold. Prawns were not clean (feces in the backs). Only the noodles were reasonable, although the specter of shrinkflation had clearly been unleashed on it. You are still working on the starter and the next dish is already presented in front of you. A simple question about what kind of wine could not be answered by the staff and so on. In short, compared to some time ago, this restaurant scores very poorly. Of course I said at checkout that it had all been disappointing. We were simply laughed at, but were allowed to pay the top prize!! Too bad, but they will (never) see us again. A shame for such a good restaurant.

Previously it was fantastic, super good food, we came there regularly, but this was the last time and never again, steak salad was frozen (you had to look for steak), prawns were floating in fat, or undercooked, soup was sour, food was tasteless, fries limp. They barely come to collect the notes, worthless system!!! And let alone asking what you want to drink, we came to us once in the beginning, then never asked for a drink again, and they charge 1 euro for a glass of water, well I think water should go with a glass of wine. Unfortunately it turned out to be a very bad tent, not worth the money! They won't see us again!
