We had a delicious and plentiful meal here. Orders are placed at the table via QR code and payment is also made directly. The food came quickly, but it was also quite empty. The portions were sufficiently large. The ambience was nice because, as already mentioned, it was quite empty and also nice and quiet. Basically, you can't go wrong with a visit here.

Visited Vapiano today during our short stay in Rotterdam, we both ordered lasagna, it was just 'ok' very 'wet.' Sauce to pasta/mince ratio too high, we found it disappointing, not very satisfying. If you order lasagna be sure to add an accompaniment, maybe some bread rolls 🤷. Staff were friendly, service was fine.

The employees are very rude. They are truly mentally ill, from my experience several times. Although I love Italian food, BUT I would NEVER EVER go back .

Was helped very well. Woke up during the night with diarrhea and the urge to vomit. Literally saw mice shooting across the floor throughout the store. The pasta stuck together. No, I didn't have a good feeling about this place, unfortunately..

Not that Italian food, a good amount of pasta but overcooked. You order through QR on the table, but the app doesn’t give you the option to remove the Parmesan that in some pasta, specially the one with fish, it’s not the ideal.

At the first glimpse looks lovely place to have your lunch. Unfortunately, glasses were dirty while serving soft drink, I have to say it have been changed after asking. It's rather cold here too. Well food.. Definatelly not Italian or even Italian style. Have tried many Italian dishes in my life and would say this one was the most memorable, and not in a good way. Definitely would suggest not to come and not to ruin your mood while visiting Rotterdam.

Don't go there. It's a tourists trap, a scam. Paid 22 euros for 2 of the most disappointing dishes i ever ate. First of, the worst pasta i ever ate. Way overcooked yet still very dry, the spices doesn't taste like anything and there's 10 times too much to the point you can't taste anything anymore. Then second, the most blend margaritha ever no taste, even a frozen pizza from Albert Heijn taste better, without to mention it’s as thin as a sheet of paper so theres literally nothing to feed you. They also brought me 2 thin slices of bread and made me pay extra for it. As it may looks attractive but avoid this place by all means.

Food was ok, but the service is terrible. You order via a website using QR code, and they first bring you a beer and a dessert, then a main dish, and then an appetizer. Complete chaos and desynchronization, but perhaps fine if you’re just having beers in a small company. My Italian friend started doing the angry 🤌 gestures and insisted they change their name to a non-Italian sounding one.

At Vapiano’s we’ve just enjoyed the best dinner on our Netherlands vacation!!! The service was top notch and friendly, the salad was crisp and fresh, and the tagliatelle bolognese was out of this world. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

They have plenty of seating for people dining alone. I ordered their shrimp & spinach risotto. Service was prompt. Food was alright. I also had a glass of red wine. I only wish they served tap water for guests who order red wine. Otherwise a pleasant experience. Great location, right outside the Rotterdam Centraal station.

This place has a variety of pizza and pastas. They even have very good options for vegetarians and vegans. Ambience is quite good and cosy. Been here many times, and this yime I must say the pastas were really nice like lot better than before and also the garlic bread.

At first, the concept seems nice, but the service needs to be improved. They don't serve dessert before the main course. There's no greeting or goodbye. The customer is completely ignored here, which is a shame... This restaurant is impersonal. Fortunately, our food was quite good.

Delicious pizza and tasty Cornetjes. And of course the classic, coffee, tiramisu and Amaretto.

Good fresh food. We went in the afternoon which made it come very quickly. Tip: order extra cream with your pasta. It may become drier over time. With extra cream it remains tasty and the cream is not overpowering.

The location near the train station is a big plus, but as with other things I don't like about Rotterdam, the waiters in big cities are not that friendly. There was too much cream in the chocolate puffs, which gave me diarrhea.

I really enjoyed my pasta carbonare salmon. It was delicious. Lemonade was tasty too. My colleagues were also very pleased with their lasagna, garlic bread and pizza. Fast service (lasagna took a while to arrive). Staff friendly and decor very nice.

Nice place very nice staff but the pizza was mediocre like really mediocre. The place would benefit from more heaters. Like the ordering with the qr code. They could also be more child friendly there's no spots for kids

Good pastas, carbonata my favourite was really good as usual in Vapianos. Scanning order didnt work for us for some reason but staff took our order from table. Recommended.

Food was very tasty, thoroughly enjoyed. The service was especially nice. My bread was forgotten when I ordered, but the service took care of it and brought it straight away. Very nice! When clearing the pasta, I was also politely asked if I liked the taste of it. Thank you for that Ismail!

I have never had such bad pasta and carpaccio in my life, I had the aglio e olio, the recipe revolves around garlic and oil, there was hardly any oil on it and the garlic was hard to find. The pasta was also bizarrely overcooked, it broke, it really clumped together and it was just tasteless, I don't know how an Italian restaurant overcooks pasta, it doesn't seem like something for such a place. The carpaccio was clearly frozen on the plate as the edges were sticking and were completely hard/dried out. It still had a great taste, but that is due to the liters of sauce they poured over it. All in all, I won't go back here again, and I recommend that you also walk a bit further to the next Italian.

Picked up a pasta today at 5:30 PM, after ordering online. After opening the lid I saw many black pieces of food through the paste. It turned out that the onions were burnt. I don't like it when you order food with burnt onions between the pasta. Burnt food is also carcinogenic, I spent a few minutes fishing burnt onions between the pasta with my fork. I don't think it's possible, a chef like that gets away with this far too easily. Who says he or she hasn't done it before? Vapiano does not offer compensation, a few months ago they did nothing with a pizza that was burnt. I had also been waiting for a few minutes to pick up my order before I was spoken to, then a lady walked up. She helped another customer in between, then walked away again. After a few minutes she came back to finally give me my pasta. I have not experienced this at Binnenotte (about burnt food). I have been coming to Vapiano for years, since 2013.

Food has no taste, the cheese they serve on pastas has no flavor and is transparent (which is weird for an Italian restaurant), the portions are smaller than average which does not reflect higher than average prices. They have a wide choice of dishes, but when they are all mid it doesn’t really matter. Though their service was quick.

Food is fine Never had a nut this cold anywhere. Everyone sat with their coats on. Nice and cozy. I understand that energy is expensive these days, but this is really not nice when you are in a restaurant.

I love Vapiano for the simplicity, the delicacy and the cozy atmosphere🍝 Using the QR code at the table, you can easily put together your desired dish via your smartphone. You can decide which pasta you want, how much cheese, whether or not you want garlic and how spicy you would like it to be 🌶️ I have never regretted having eaten at Vapiano so I'm leaving 5/5 stars ☺️

Ordered a pasta Arrabiata. Could add chicken for 3.95. Chicken was nowhere to be seen except for 3 small 1cm pieces.

This pizza is… Dutch pizza. I’m from NY… this pizza does not live up to my standards but I’m not shocked about its quality. What I DO have a problem with is false advertising: I was present during happy hour and the advert outside said mocktails are included for a discount but I never received the discount. And my main complaint is something that is breaking the law in some corners of the world (aka Parma Italy!) is saying there is prosciutto being sold but you actually sell HAM. The “prosciutto di Parma en fungi pizza” was -clearrrrly- false advertisement as it was “ham fungi pizza”. Go get em Parma! I’m calling the prosciutto politie.

We were having dinner with a friend at Vapiano. They took it to one, but forgot to take it to the other, and it took a long time. They ended up stealing my jacket with my keys. Employees do not respond to anything. It's complete chaos.

The noodle wasn't what we ordered, it was overcooked and it was all stuck together like a whole piece. There was no taste either, very bad unfortunately. I even think it's a shame to call the food Italian cuisine because the Italian gastronomic passion is missing. Portion was good.

Food was very tasty. 'Concept' of the restaurant makes it difficult to keep it cozy. Food is prepared per station (pizza, pasta, salad etc). Orders from 1 table together will not be taken into account. When employees are alerted to this, they respond very adequately (including free wine because drinks were finished while one person was waiting for a meal and therefore did not want to start the other meal). It is also a pity that people wear gloves (1 pair, full hour) instead of just washing their hands. That's not fresh.

Always the best no latter where in Europe you are. Most recommended.

How can the quality have dropped so much in recent years? The pasta was cooked too long so it was almost a mess. Taste was good, but the basics are not in order. All 4 pasta were simply overcooked.

2x mozzarella, €3, was not included with our pasta. Pasta was boiled to death, tasteless sticky mess of bolognese tasted like fish. Bread was soggy and the parmesan cheese was so dry that it had become vermicelli. Big no.

Ordered pasta gamberi e spinazi, unfortunately it arrived dry and tasteless. I ordered sandwiches and couldn't dip them in the sauce because there wasn't any. I took a few bites and then let my sister taste them to see if it was just me, she thought the same. Unfortunately. I call Vapiano for a solution, the lady said call back in fifteen minutes and the manager will be there. No sooner said than done. The gentleman said that I should send an email, I then said that I should send an email while I was looking forward to my food and waiting, and then should I send an email? And just wait for a response, no, sorry! I want a solution right away, sir, I didn't agree and kept saying that I had to send an email. You'll never see me eat here again

Vapiano is great! Very nice setup, spacious and well decorated with a great atmosphere. Staff is welcoming and friendly with order via cash register, don't think tipping is required but I'm sure they appreciate it. Really - the best thing about Vapiano is the excellent food, well priced and quite generous portions. They give Italy some serious competition ; )

This Italian restaurant is also one of my favorites. The staff was friendly and the service was fast, we didn't have to wait too long for the food to arrive at our table. The price is also reasonable. The location is opposite Rotterdam Central Station and next to the Marriot hotel and Holland Casino.
