Discovery, I might say, bicycle tour, lunch taken in gasterie Veer Mestreech, chicken pie and goat cheese salad, both beautifully served and excellent in taste and above all very reasonably priced, beautiful terrace and almost in the center of Maastricht, definitely recommended Nice project where people with disabilities have a nice day job Will definitely come back

What a surprising place. Top service that serves you with a disability very well and is hospitable. Many cafes/restaurants can still learn something from this. We ate delicious homemade pie and it was such a large piece. We were even allowed to take a look in the monastery garden. They also have a shop where they sell homemade stuff, it looked nice.

What a wonderful spot. Near the Vrijthof. Everything was perfect, the unique location, the super friendly welcome and service and the food was really tasty. We will return here with 100% certainty

Went for breakfast just before Christmas, had reserved for 4 and had been arranged for 2, had to ask for more but that was no problem, service was good, fast and friendly, in short, excellent and worth repeating!!!

The two of us had a delicious, extensive breakfast here. Fresh rolls, croissaints, fresh bread, delicious fried eggs, various spreads from sweet to savory. In short, very worthwhile. Service was very friendly and helpful. It was a great start to the day. Highly recommended 👍👍

We spontaneously walked in looking for a place for a nice cup of coffee. I hadn't heard of this before, but it looked nice. Super nice place with a nice menu with plenty of vegetarian options and a super nice location. Maastricht should have more places like this, definitely recommended!

Vandaag met mijn man gaan ontbijten. Vriendelijke ontvangst. En de gastheer bracht ons naar onze tafel. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt. Een echte aanrader voor iedereen. Dus laat jullie kans niet voorbij gaan om eens heerlijk te genieten bij VEER MESTREECH.

I love this place and come here every chance I get! A converted former Ursuline convent, it’s dripping with local charm, religious iconography, and wood-accented coziness—so important in this capricious clime. The food is excellent, served with care, welcoming smiles, and pride of ownership. The owners have their own herb garden in the back. The flavors are authentic, fresh, and crisp. There’s a courtyard, too, for warm summer enjoyment. Also a boutique, featuring gifts made by disabled artisans. Try anything on the menu—your selection will be delicious. Tip: their desserts and hot chocolate with fresh whipped cream are a delight.

La comida genial, un buen precio y el sitio inmejorable. Un poco lento en salir los platos, eso sí, pero el resto perfecto. Sin duda el mejor sitio que hemos podido elegir para comer.

Zaterdag jl. heb ik koffie gedronken bij Veer Mestreech met een werkelijk meesterlijk stuk appeltaart erbij. Het was heerlijk en het restaurant was een fijn rustpunt in een overvolle Maastrichtse binnenstad. Dank jullie wel voor het warme welkom, de puike consumpties en de gezelligheid. Op onze tafel stond deze superleuke kerstdecoratie; die heb ik gekocht voor thuis.
