Always a favourite place to eat whenever we visit Amsterdam. The menu is amazing and to have such choices of vegan food really does mean you're literally spoiled for choice. We usually order a few dishes to share and always leave stuffed and smiling. Fantastic staff too. Can't wait until our next visit...

My favourite place to go whenever I’m in Amsterdam. Been here multiple times and the burgers always hit the spot. There’s so many to try and the extra sauces are great, particularly the cheesy one. Wish I had a big enough stomach to try more 😂

It was very delicious and healthy, I really liked it.

Very nice staff and mostly good food, all vegan. We especially liked the fish burger. We didn't really enjoy the bitterballen with sate, but I think thats just personal taste. Not too busy on a weekday.

We ate very well. On the other hand, the waiter was very unsmiling and during the bill, €1 for a small glass of tap water. If you want to pay in cash he clearly says that he does not give change.

Visited with a group of friends for lunch and was really impressed. I was weary as I’m quite a picky eater and not vegan so I’m not used to meat substitutes, but there was no need to worry! I had the double cheese smash burger which I can easily say is one of the best burgers I’ve had. The fries were also really fresh, crisp and well seasoned. Staff were all lovely and accommodating to any changes we made to our meals. Sad I won’t be able to visit again till I holiday!

Top service, a French waitress a plus for French tourism! It was super good, but we were expecting something a little more “greasy” when we hear “junk”! On the other hand, the sauces were excellent.

Woww, what a great restaurant! Even my friend (who normally wouldn't give up his portion of meat) was super excited! Not only is the food incredibly tasty, but the portions are gigantic. The decor is super cozy and the staff is incredibly friendly. We are fans!

We went to VJFB specifically for their vegan bitterballen. We did a sampler with traditional, Thai, and mac ‘n’ cheese. They were all crispy and deliciously flavored. I surprised myself by loving the mac ‘n’ cheese the most. We really enjoyed the sauces. VJFB you really hit a home run with these! Service was friendly and we enjoyed our visit.

We went to eat at Vegan Junk Food Bar and ordered two burgers: one chicken type with red bread and blue sauce, and another meat type with vegan “bacon”. They both came with fries. The presentation is super striking, everything very colorful and different. The chicken was very delicious, with a mild but tasty flavor, and the blue sauce gave it a curious touch. The meat also surprised us, especially the “bacon”, which had good texture and quite a bit of flavour. The potatoes were well done, crispy and with a touch of spice. The place has a good atmosphere, it is modern, with music and very cool decoration. Overall, a fun and different experience to try vegan fast food.

We had a lovely evening. The cheese melted really well and tasted delicious. I asked the waiter for his recommendation and he gave me good advice. The selection was diverse. The food came quickly and the quantity was good. We would recommend it to everyone. Our only criticism is that the music inside was too loud so we found it a bit annoying.

Vegan junk food as advertised. Nothing outstanding but you don't go to a junk food spot for the high quality dining. Decent if you're vegan/veggie and don't want to think too much.

After reading numerous reviews, I expected something much better, the food is mediocre, it looks nice, but nothing impressive. I definitely wouldn't come back here again. For this quality it is expensive and the place is overrated.

I first heard about this place some time ago and it's been on my global vegan map for a while. I finally made it over to Amsterdam for a few days and got to try the delicious 'junk' they were making. Can't go wrong with loaded fries and a good ipa, Two Chefs is top class local brews. Lovely looking restaurant on a beautiful square close to the museum area south of the centre. The server was great and made my experience better and made to feel so welcome. Highly recommended if you're in the city and looking for a good junk food fix.

Very tidy and nicely organized. The atmosphere is so pretty and coherent decoration and sound-wise, which makes it also a nice place to chill and be with friends or read something while eating. Service was very kind and accommodating, food came quickly and was very delicious, no complaints. Thanks!

We visited the vegan junk food bar while we were on vacation in Amsterdam for a few days. The selection of burgers and finger food is fantastic. Since we couldn't decide, my friend and I shared a plate of various finger foods. It was super tasty and exciting to try everything out. From vegan chicken balls to vegan calamari. I can only recommend the restaurant.

Great we found with Google it was super good! The person who takes care of the service was very nice, the toilets are also super clean and I'm not even talking about the Pink Tonic gin which was the best I've ever drunk! I can't wait to make another trip to Amsterdam to come back here! (The French couple on the terrace)

The food was delicious, but the service was terrible. The waitstaff seemed completely uninterested, and we practically had to beg them to take our order. They constantly rushed past us, ignoring our attempts to get their attention. It would be helpful if the manager spoke to the staff and reminded them to approach customers and be more attentive

As the name states, it's junk food. Everything was delicious. We ordered a selection of appetizers including the nachos, mixed fries, Mac and cheese balls and onion rings. My favorite was the onion rings, but they were all good. Then we each got a burger/sandwich. I had the fish, it had a great, flakey texture and fish taste. I couldn't tell the difference. The burger my partner got was also great. The service was great. Our server was very attentive and kept the food coming. If there were a criticism, and there isn't one, it was a little noisy. I wouldn't go here for a quiet conversation. It was exactly what the 4 of us were looking for. Good music, plenty of people, we got lost in our own conversations. Lighting was perfect, a calm feel, but bright enough to read the menu and see our food. Which was brightly colored, and first, you eat with your eyes. Great place for some greasy food.

If you have to eat Vegan to support your friends and family that you’re traveling with but you are a Meat eater…you will still be happy and full if you go here. They had really flavorful dishes and you could almost fool yourself into thinking you were eating meat. We had nachos, fries, onion rings, Mac and cheese balls, burgers and pitchers of sangria!

I loved my meal, a really amazing loaded frise! My partner enjoyed his burger as well. Kind and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it.

Really very cool! I thought it was going to be a little cliché and not particularly good, but I was pleasantly surprised. The recipes are pretty cool, the burgers and starters taste good, the same goes for their moktail. The tender equivalents were very good, the texture was really superb, and the taste very good. The burgers were also very good whether with imitation steak or those with imitation chicken, they were not dry, quite loaded and good. Really worth testing.

Food was really good, you couldnt really tell there was no meat inside. The chef was quick, but the waitress was ignoring us and cleaning the tables instead of giving us the menu. Other 3 table besides us were already eating and the waitress served them before us after we sat there for like 10 minutes waiting.

The burger with the blue sauce was quite dry and lacked taste, too bad. On the other hand, the cheese is very good, the fries too and very good vegan mayo. The cocktails were good.

Ate here for my birthday with a friend, we got free bitterballen, the Unicorn cocktail was super tasty! Cheeseburger was also really delicious, super fast good service!

The best vegan restaurant in Amsterdam! I have finally been able to dine at the very famous vegan restaurant in this city. I've already been to the one in Barcelona a couple of times but I wanted to visit the first one that opened here. Since I'm on vacation, I went to dinner. I recommend it 100% The waiter who served me was very friendly.

A very welcoming vegan fast food place. We tasted several dishes and one was truly better than the other and well presented. It's worth stopping here for a quick and delicious lunch!

overpriced for the quality of what you get. when we went they were understaffed, so we had to wait a long time to be served (though the waitress was very nice about it). The food did come quickly but was pretty underwhelming, the fries (normal and sweet potato) being the best part of our meal. The Daddy burger has a bright blue mayonnaise (for some reason) that WILL stain your mouth, and the Thai “chicken” balls have the taste and consistency of fried balls of peanut butter, which are less nice than they sound. if you’re vegan and craving a burger and can’t find anywhere else maybe consider this place, otherwise give it a miss.

Very good food and original concept. The restaurant, the burgers and the packaging are all colorful, I, who only wear pink, felt like I matched the decor haha. But what makes this place the best is the very attentive customer service. I recommend, special mention to the lady on duty behind the bar, very kind.

The food is super creative and colorful and you get a cool selection because everything is vegan. Unfortunately, the service staff were rather inattentive and slow, which spoiled our visit somewhat. In general, the restaurant is more practical than cozy.

We came in while looking to get late lunch with friends who were visiting. We were positively surprised! The food was tasty, good value for money as far as Amsterdam goes. Not the biggest fan of the vegan burger used but it’s just my personal preference. Staff were nice and helpful. We got our food fast and were happy with our orders. Will definitely be back!
