Delicious. The crispy fried wings 🍄‍🟫 were so so tasty, and the Happy Fish Rolls were incredible. Couldn’t recommend this place more whether you’re vegan or not, amazing.

So if you don't eat here, it's only your own fault. I haven't had such incredibly delicious sushi in a long time. The atmosphere is fantastic. I highly recommend it.

I reserved my Too Good To Go order 7 hours in advance, only to have it cancelled at the last minute. If you're going to accept reservations, you should honor them or at least give customers reasonable notice or write it into the description in the app. Sad because I really like the sushi.

Ended up in Amsterdam during a week long road trip to Belgium and the Netherlands. Along the way, I saw plenty of sushi restaurants and I just wanted to have some as I thought it would be a bit different. This place was very conveniently located to us as it was just around the corner from where we were staying and being a completely vegan/vegetarian menu was an absolute dream for my mother who is a vegetarian. It was a little bit pricey, but was it worth it? I’d say it was. The food was delicious! Very much recommend to those who want something different. The staff are very friendly too. I would love to try it again someday.

Great sushi experience-best vegan sushi I ever had. Too bad that the atmosphere isn’t great, they do take outs and at some points they were 6 uber eats workers waiting, the restaurant is also very small. Please do only take-outs or stop with them, it really ruins the experience

The best vegan sushi I've ever had! Absolute sorcery at work with the spicy tuna maki and shrimpless bao--I challenge anyone to say they're not convinced they're eating seafood. Honestly just brilliant. Everything was fresh and full of flavor, and the space was inviting and staff very pleasant. Will be back!

The food was really nice. Ate so much that it gave me stomach pains. Some good deals and lots of variety. Reservation required as it's pretty small inside but very pleasant and nice friendly service. Would recommend.

The food is delicious, and because it's small and cozy with only a few tables, it's wonderfully quiet. We just found it a shame that, despite there being only four tables, ordering is done via QR code; it feels much nicer and more inviting to simply order from a staff member.

Nice vegan sushi rolls and bao buns, we came especially for the Katsu curry we saw on the website and we were disappointed to see it is no longer on the menu, so you should probably update the website. The Katsu bao bun was good but had too much mustard which overpowered the entire flavors.

On a warm Wednesday afternoon, we entered a pleasantly cool space. We were warmly welcomed and shown the QR code for ordering. Payment is made later at the cash register. The food was delicious: creative, well-seasoned, and fresh. I wasn't impressed with the baotje croquette because of the amount of seaweed, but that's more a matter of taste. The chicken sushi was delicious, and it was great that it came with fresh wasabi as well as ginger. I would recommend ordering a set menu, as it's cheaper and you also get a delicious mochi for dessert (or something else if you choose). Definitely worth a visit.

There wasn't enough room for five people, and they didn't even try to find us a spot. It's a shame, I would have loved to try it.

This cute restaurant is unassuming from the outside but packs a punch on the inside. The vegan sushi menu is on par with Michelin-star vegan restaurants we've visited. Well thought out options are carefully curated and we found ourselves coming back a few days later to try even more.

Great vegan sushi and a good (compact) selection, but I would definitely recommend ordering to-go! We had to ask for our drinks three times and then got them with dessert.

Rude encounter with the staff. Sat down half an hour (very few customers) and no orders (“very calm right now” they told us) with no one asking us if and what we wanted to order. We left hungry.

Shocked by how rude and unaccommodating the service was. We arrived 45 minutes early to an empty restaurant. Just one person at the bar. And we were told to come back in an hour with zero effort to help. We genuinely thought it was a joke. Ended up ordering takeout and waited 30 minutes while only one other party came in. We easily could have been seated. It made no sense. Go somewhere your business is actually valued.

Delicious vegan sushi, each one had a really different taste, it's a real change from what you can find in vegan sushi stores. When will there be a brand in France? 😩 Only small flaw: they forgot to serve us a dish, but we ended up not being hungry after the sushi, so it's not that bad. 😂

Everything is freshly made to order. The gyoza are heavenly, the crunchy wings yummy and everything is securely packed and still warm when I get home. LOVE IT!

we ate here last week, and as a vegetarian I can't say anything else but I loved this place, the food, especially the taloyaki and the staff! maybe what I would have to say is that the sushi was too seasoned for my tastes! a little too much kataifi paste in the salmon one that covered the flavors, for the rest it was perfect, the lady (I think she was the owner) was very kind. I recommend everyone to go, you will be amazed!!

The best vegan sushi I’ve ever had, with excellent service. Unfortunately, the place is small and lacks proper ventilation, so you leave smelling like fried food — but nothing that a good shower can’t fix.

Sushi might not seem like the most obvious option for a delicious vegan food experience but Vegan Sushi Bar absolutely WOWED my omnivorous guests with their fantastic spread of gorgeous plant-based delights. Finding caterers who are vegan and able to deliver this high quality fare at reasonable prices is very rare. I first visited the restaurant to check out the food and was stunned by how gorgeous everything looked - and tasted! If you haven’t visited yet, or if you need an event catered, I highly recommend their services. 10/10!!

There’s a fancy vegan sushi place in Paris, but honestly they should take a lesson from these guys. Every single thing we’ve had was bursting with flavour. It was a beautiful meal. Brought two non vegan friends with me and they said it was the best sushi experience they’ve had in their lives.

All I care about is vegan sushi - so as you can imagine, I was coming in with high expectations, or just pure excitement. The place is literally named vegan sushi, so there's no question about what you are getting into. The music and atmosphere were both great and the staff was friendly. We had the gyoza, boa, miso soup and two different rolls (one maki, the other Korean pulled beef). To finish it off, we had mango mochi. I would've liked more tofu and less mushrooms in my miso soup, but otherwise great flavor. Hilariously, a Japanese woman walked in while we were eating and walked up to look at the kitchen and said "I have to see what vegan sushi looks like!" and then proceeded to giggle and smile while looking around. This place is the real deal, do not skip either location - I wish they were in the states! Everything was completely delicious, beyond!

We were in the place a month ago: the food was very good (some dishes were decidedly spicy, but that's okay) and the service was convenient through ordering from the online menu. Small place but kept with care and order.

Suggested by Happy Cow and had an amazing meal. I highly recommend this place for a great plant based meal.

It is my favorite place to eat in Amsterdam. I love Japanese food and am since I went vegetarian, it was no longer an option. The wings are super crunchy and savory. The only downside is that when I go there, I end up smelling like fried stuff.

By far the best vegan food we went to in Amsterdam and the best vegan sushi we have ever had! We had the salmon roll, happy fish, and shrimp tempura :) definitely check this place out!!

Ripped off. We got a large box of sushi and there were only 10 pieces in it and they refused to give us anything else because they were closing. I'm never going here again.

Nog nooit een slechte review achtergelaten op een tent maar dit is bizar. Grote sushi box besteld en er zitten maar 10 stuks in. Ze weigerde het op te lossen en gooide ons gewoon de tent uit. Slechtste tent waar ik ooit geweest ben. Als ik 0 sterren had kunnen geven had ik dat gedaan.

The food at Vegan Sushi Bar is absolutely amazing – everything is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The variety of plant-based options is fantastic, and it's the perfect place for anyone looking for creative and delicious sushi alternatives. However, I did have one disappointing experience with customer service. On one visit, the staff was not very friendly, and it left me feeling quite uncomfortable. Despite this, I’ve had mostly positive experiences and the food alone makes it worth a visit. Definitely recommend it for the food, but I hope the service improves.

not very flavoursome and some things have very small portions like the bao - i usually get 2 for that cost elsewhere! way too hot in there and kind of just felt anxious the whole time because of the atmosphere

The sushi was very tasty and it looks quite nice inside. In addition, the waitress was very nice. Unfortunately, a lot of things, especially the sushi, are very expensive. Unfortunately, the drink (lemonade) had very little taste, very watery and there was a bit of a dog smell in the restaurant.

Lovely concept. You have a mealdeal for 30 euros, where you get a starter, sushi roll & dessert + drink. Was definitely full after! Very fresh sushi and good service.

I dined at this restaurant twice while visiting Amsterdam, and my experiences couldn't have been more different. The first time, the food was absolutely amazing—crispy, flavorful, and far beyond my expectations. However, on my second visit, it was the complete opposite: soggy, overly oily, and completely tasteless. I was so disappointed that I had to leave most of it behind. It's hard to believe that the same dish could vary so drastically in quality. Given that a meal for two costs over €50, the inconsistency makes it feel like a gamble. If you're lucky, you might get a fantastic meal, but if not, you’ll regret spending that much. Eat at your own risk! Thus 3 star review.

Some of the best vegan sushi I’ve had, and the gyozas were outstanding too. Would have been a five star visit, but just as we were about to get up and leave a huge silverfish appeared out of nowhere and crawled about on our table which was pretty gross - not the staff’s fault but maybe a cleanliness issue.

The restaurant is very clean and organized, with a defined and thoughtful style. You order with a QR code system that sends the order directly to the staff in a very quick and intuitive way. Quick and welcoming service and the food is fantastic, very refined and balanced combinations of flavours for the rolls, excellent sides and drinks too, overall a perfect experience, to try again and again and again...

Absolutely delicious vegan sushi. Definitely can recommend the combo option with beverage, side and 8pc sushi and a dessert. The wings (mushrooms) are amazing and the sushi tastes even better than the stunning look it comes with. A must visit if you have the chance.

A small shop with a good selection of vegan sushi and ramen. It's a bit on the expensive side: we had the Signature Roll 'Mighty Mushrooms' for about 17 euros and Spicy Miso Tonkatsu Ramen for about 18 euros. Both dishes were top-notch. You could taste the high quality. The service was impeccable. Would love to go again!

Tasty sushi, quite pricey (48 euros for 3x8 pieces). Cozy decor and friendly staff. What I always find annoying is ordering via an app. In addition, I don't like it when payment is set in such a way that the first options are the highest tip (too pushy), questions are skipped.
