The sushi was delicious and the place was lovely. Plus, we were served by a very friendly Uruguayan girl.

There isn't much seating, so it's handy to make a reservation. The sushi is very cleverly conceived and incredibly tasty. We had one with veggie chicken and one with mushrooms. And some small maki on the side. The wasabi is fresh and really delicious. Good service. You order using the QR code and then pay when you leave.

The food looks delicious, yet the flavours were just missing something. We had the udon and the tofu was literally disgusting. Disappointed :(

What a fantastic experience on the Wittenburgergracht. The food not only looked beautiful but tasted delicious as well. The presentation of the dishes is truly a work of art. The sushi with avocado on the rice was an absolute must-try, in particular. The small pastries to finish were also a delightful treat. I will definitely be back here soon for more.

We went here May 2026. We got the 31 EUR combo per person. I like how everything at the vegan sushi bar is vegan. I enjoyed everything we ordered: the cheese tuna roll, salmon rolls, yuza lemonade, orange peach ice tea, tiramisu as well. The prices compared to what I am used to (being from Canada) was a bit high in my opinion, as the rest of the food in restaurants in the Netherlands. Enjoyed my time sitting on the street patio watching cyclists ride by anyway at the vegan sushi bar

Excellent vegan sushi, made with care and love. The combination of flavors is outstanding! We had three of the most famous rolls and almost had to order more, only if we had space. Outdoor area by the canal is lovely, as well as the staff. Highly recommended and will definitely come back

The food was amazing, even the drinks were delicious! The servers were really nice and nothing against them, however service was slightly slow. Initially it was ok but towards the end of the meal we asked for our dessert which we had already ordered with the combo meal and a box to take some of the sushi away. However, it took almost 15 minutes for them to bring out some mochi and a a box and also we had to ask again in that time. I am not sure if they had a big takeaway order which made them very busy but still mochi and a box dont take time and dont need to be made so it should have been quicker especially as the actual resraurant wasnt too busy. I would come again but probably try to make sure I have more time.

I've ordered here many times, and it's always so INCREDIBLY good! The flambe salmon is by far my favorite: just amazing vegan salmon and tasty crunchy bits. The quality is always good and my mouth is watering thinking about the next time I'll eat it again

Decent vegan sushi if you just want to grab something. Not very special, and I have eaten better vegan sushi. I have been here twice; the staff was friendly one time and a bit less so the other. The interior is quite simple.

They have delicious vegan sushi here. The homemade wasabi is also amazing. What I find a bit of a shame is that you have to order via QR code. And they only accept card payments.

I'm not vegan, but this was just as good (maybe even better) than any sushi I've had before!🍱 The sushi was wonderfully fresh, and I enjoyed the caramelized banana matcha.

The food was delicious and offered a good variety and options. The tasty combo was very well presented. However, the place lacked sufficient heating, and the waitress acted a bit strangely and definitely not very professionally towards one of the friends sitting at our table... a shame for such a renowned restaurant and its potential.

The sushi is highly recommended, and the other dishes were also very tasty. Unfortunately, the toilet is very cramped and small, and not clean either. The floor was completely covered in it (I hope water, I think urine). Additionally, the indoor seating area is really small, and there are constantly delivery drivers waiting to pick up food, which makes everything very busy and chaotic. Furthermore, a delivery driver got angry because he had to wait too long for the order and slammed the door shut really hard. Of course, the staff can't do anything about that, but perhaps fewer online orders should be placed, especially since the kitchen can't handle it. Because of this, we also had to wait a very long time for our food.

I placed an order but accidentally ordered from the wrong location. Uber was not helpful at all, but the lady at the Vegan Sushi Bar was extremely helpful and assisted me in getting my order to the correct location. The food is really good and fresh. The food was surprising, delicious, and nutritious! We ate here through To Good To Go for €24 for 2 people. We received 20 pieces of sushi in 2 different flavors and 5 giosa. We also ordered a pot of tea for €5.50, which includes 7 traditional teacups.

I’m not vegan, but my sister is. So I decided to eat here for my birthday with my family. The food here was absolutely delicious! We all loved it!

Feeling at home and always delicious vegan food!

We reserved a table for 5 p.m., but the restaurant was empty. At 6:30 p.m., we were asked to leave because the next guests were already waiting. No dessert, no coffee or tea. It's a shame this wasn't mentioned when booking or in advance. A 1.5-hour time slot is very tight. The atmosphere could also be better.

The Vegan Sushi Bar doesn’t only offer amazing Vegan Sushi, that is on par with or even better than meat/fish Sushi, but also offers To Good To Go dine in options where you can get a two person dinner for 24€. Always great to see restaurants that don’t throw away their delicious food!

Well prepared, tasty sushi. The savory, umami flavour, a hint of creamyness and balanced textures made this a wonderful experience. We were kindly accomodated because we were in a rush. Because of this we were able to have a delicious bite and make our appointment on time. Recommended to check out!

Loved the Sushi. I would like to give you a note as well that you could mention on the card which one is deep fried. Because there would be people who wouldn't want the deep fried. Honestly I didn't feel like it either but I just ordered it so couldn't go back

Vegan Sushi Bar is a must-visit! We stopped by for lunch and indulged in the decadent mighty mushroom roll with an unforgettable truffle flavor, savory crunchy California roll, and spicy tuna roll. We also enjoyed the katsu and no chicken bao buns. Everything was delicious! We will definitely return the next time we visit Amsterdam!

Food was absolutely delicious 💜 Especially the fried "chicken" so so crispy! And the lemonades were amazing and just everything, so tasty! This is really high quality vegan food and tastes better than normal sushi, you don't go here because its vegan, you go here because its delicious 🤤

Last Friday, we spontaneously went here for sushi. Luckily, we were able to make a reservation two hours in advance, and there was still a table available. The sushi was truly delicious, and the fried oyster mushrooms are highly recommended. The interior is nicely done, though it lacks a bit of ambiance. The service wasn't very enthusiastic and was a bit slow. Because you order everything via a QR code, you don't see much of the staff anyway. There was also a mistake with our order, but it was resolved politely and quickly. All in all, a great place for good sushi. A bit pricey, with room for improvement in the service and atmosphere, but the food more than makes up for it.

Average overpriced place. Not the worst food in the world but definitely not worth its price. Service was also relatively average, took ages to get another round of lemonades.The matcha tiramisu was pretty meh as well.

I honestly prefer this to non-vegan sushi...it's so incredibly well-prepared. The type of rice they use is also much better than white rice! Highly recommended! And the cocktails are also fantastic.

Had an amazing dinner at Vegan Sushi Bar. Went there without a reservation (around 20:00) first got only the seats at the bar stools, ordered via QR code a bunch of different sushi and got a normal table. Staff was very friendly! Sushi was great, we loved the vegan fish and chicken. Bao was ok, not our favourite, but still good. You can only pay with card. What a great place!

Such good vegan sushi - I'm still dreaming about the crunchy no-shrimp tempura rolls - it was so good that we went back the next day.

Very, very tasty vegan sushi, definitely recommended! Ordering is done through an online website, which I'm not a fan of. But at least it worked well. The waiters were also very nice. However, the prices were too high in my opinion. Combined with the ordering process, only 4 stars.

Small, apparently very well-known vegan sushi bar. We arrived without a reservation and were immediately informed that a table would only be available for an hour. That was perfectly fine, as everything in the restaurant moves quite quickly. If possible, make a reservation in advance. We ordered takoyaki and three different types of sushi. The prices are a bit higher, but you get value for your money. The rolls were large and filling, but unfortunately, one of them was missing a shrimp. The flamed salmon also tasted good flamed, and overall, we were full and satisfied. It was a bit cramped inside, with only a few tables, making it especially challenging for more than two people. When we were there, sitting outside wasn't an option. If you're in the area and craving good vegan sushi, you can't go wrong here. It's not exactly cheap, but neither is fish sushi, and since the rolls are a bit more unusual, it was worth it for us. (the companion was not vegan but still absolutely satisfied)

The food is delicious, the flavors are good, and especially the Gyoza. Unfortunately, with the bao buns, both have the problem that the bun sticks to the paper, and you actually have to disassemble everything to be able to eat it all. They were very tasty though. As for the service, a bit rude, not very friendly. The menu is very dirty, needs replacing. Price relatively high, but this is to be expected in the city.

Food is really good, staff is very friendly, the restaurant is cute, but guys, I'm sorry it's just way too expensive. Over the past years prices have increased progressively and now 5 gyozas (whereas it's usually 6 and used to be 6 here too) cost almost 10€. What I also just noticed later on: they have included a 10% tip in the bill which is generally fine, but I also tipped myself while paying and the staff didn't give a hint that they have already included a tip. So overpriced for it being vegan sushi!! Was far more expensive than most regular sushi and it did not taste that much better than other vegan sushi I’ve had

The taste of the sushi was pretty mediocre in my opinion. Especially for the cost. It was nice to get to try black rice sushi and to try vegan kimbap. The service was very quick and staff was very friendly.

We recently picked up sushi as our first introduction to this sushi bar. We opted for the Chef’s Special Box, with some extras such as a teriyaki dish and a dessert. The sushi itself looked absolutely beautiful – they really put a lot of effort into it, and we really appreciated that. What we did find a pity was the packaging: everything was in simple paper boxes, which just doesn’t look that appealing for this price range. The eye wants something too, especially with sushi. The taste was fine, but the different types ran into each other a bit – we missed a clear signature per dish. The portions, especially the desserts, were quite small. There was also an automatic 5% tip on the receipt, which we deducted ourselves. We like to tip, but then the feeling has to be right. All in all a nice introduction, but in terms of price-quality ratio and total experience we expected a bit more.

We've eaten a lot of vegan sushi, and this one doesn't particularly stand out. The crispy rolls had a slightly burnt taste on one roll. Otherwise, they're solid but fairly pricey. With the Watermelon Lychee Lemonade, you'd expect lemonade rather than a pureed drink. It might taste different to everyone. It tasted like carrot juice to us. The buns are reasonably priced and a very interesting idea, but unfortunately, we weren't impressed. We're more familiar with tofu, in particular, from other restaurants. But if you're looking for a quiet vegan spot with fast service and friendly staff, you'll find what you're looking for here. It's okay, but I wouldn't recommend it.

We were lucky to get a last minute reservation I’d definitely recommend booking in advance, as there aren’t many tables. We ordered a selection of sushi, crispy “chicken” wings, and bao buns, and everything was absolutely delicious. The kids especially loved the bao buns

The crunchy California roll and Korean roll were so good, each different. Korean one definitely resembled kimbap as described with savory sweet “beef”. The rolls were well made too. The no-chicken bao bun was the most amazing thing we had though. The chicken was really crispy and the mayo was plentiful, the bun super soft as it should be. We got the passion fruit mango mochi icecream too and we’re glad we did. Powerhouse flavors both! Wish we could have sat down but we were glad they let us order take out!

Such great food and the staff are so friendly! I highly recommend the korean pulled beef (pictured) and the shrimpless tempura crunch is soooo tasty!

The best vegan sushi I've ever tried 💜

The sushi itself was delicious, as were the gyoza, edamame, and drinks. The mochi was the star of the show. In all honesty, though, the food wasn’t life changing. As stated in the other reviews, the staff isn’t super friendly. You order with a QR code, which I found weird for such a small restaurant. It would have been much better if the wait staff actually smiled and greeted you like they wanted you there. The great thing is that I could eat everything since it was vegan!
