What a fantastic experience this was. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail, and the quality of the fish is truly impressive. The huge platter filled with fried calamari rings and fresh shrimp, among other things, was highly recommended. The soup served beforehand was also delicious. We will definitely be back here soon.

I stopped by this morning to buy Dutch new herring. I spat out the first bite immediately because it was incredibly bitter. The fish may have been gutted incorrectly, in which case rinsing it helps. But even after that, it was still a limp, soft, and bitter fish. So the fish is no longer good and has been exposed to oxygen for too long. These absolutely cannot be Dutch new herring... Those have a firmer bite and are much saltier. Unfortunately, I had to throw everything away.

The team is incredibly friendly, professional, and remains quick and helpful even during busy times. My favorite is the sea bass, which they always fillet perfectly without making a fuss or charging extra. Excellent service, fair prices, and consistent quality. Highly recommended!

For years (and I'm not exaggerating here), it's been the BEST fish. I don't know the restaurant's history, but it seems to be a FAMILY business, which is brilliant!!! I've been eating there for years, most recently during the December holidays. The huge platter of fish and all the varieties was delicious, well-fried, perfectly seasoned... lemon and finger-licking delicious ;) I'm probably shooting myself in the foot (the lines can be long, but that's the nature of delicious food), but anyone who enjoys GOOD fish or seafood should visit this place at least once. We highly recommend it for the whole family.

The men work incredibly hard, but the food is disappointing. The kibbeling quickly loses its crispiness and flavor, making it a heavy meal.

Stand waiting for 10 minutes, with 6 employees working... No hello, or sorry, it's busy. While doing so, they took 4 phone calls with orders. I walked away.

Such a big restaurant but no toilet, even after renovation. Not complete hospitality. Other stores around have toilet and are smaller than this one.

I hadn't been there for a while (also because it's paid parking on Slinge now) But.. I've been coming there for years. For kibbeling, herring sandwiches, salmon... paella. It's all really great. The men/boys behind the counter work really hard and are a real example of; how you have to work hard to make a company a success. So yes.... a good company with good products, made quickly, friendly. Can't say otherwise Recommend it to everyone

Any dish you order is made with taste! The only downside is that the staff doesn't speak much English, but you eventually manage to get along with them.

Ordered a fish dish for 50 euros today with the family. I have stated several times that I do not want fish with bones, but instead replace them with extra kibbeling, gourmet fish, squid rings or surimi. In the end I got 8 whole fish with bones. The amount of bickering could be counted on one hand. The only boneless fish was the tilapia fillet and a small piece of salmon. Spent the entire meal removing bones for the children. Afterwards I indicated that I had not received what I had ordered, after which they responded with a smile and said better luck next time. Very disappointing. Taste of the fish was fair. Could have used more spices. Didn't take long for fish to be served. Unfortunately not worth repeating for me.

These people have bad arithmetic, if I ask for 4 ounces of kibbeling I can pay €8.00, half a pound costs €9.00, so a kilo costs €18.00. 1 ounce costs €1.80, 4X €1.80 is €7.20 for me, so €0.80 goes into every customer's pocket. SORRY NOT NICE.

Fantastic beautiful fishing shop and the gentlemen are friendly. This is my fishing shop. We go here at least once a month for gourmands, herring, eel fillet, sea bream and so on to get. Fish is fresh and you can freeze it at home. They also give advice on preparation. Upon entering you immediately notice that it is a clean and hygienic place. Excellent service and beautiful, tasty fresh fish. Recommended for every fish lover

What a disappointment. Fish dish, delicious fish, was old and worn out and included a total of 11 fries with a little salad. The fish was less than 100 grams and had a bad taste, almost spoiled in my opinion. no, no more 2nd time for me. 9.50 for a portion of old fish and very weak potato chips from the freezer, which is not bad but very bad. total value of the food 2 euros more no. Very dirty dry fries, once but never again last summer I had a dirty herring there. no, I'll postpone my trek for a while and drive back to my old trusted fishmonger Fred, nice fresh big fish, good fries fried in fresh oil.

Always busy and long wait for your food. But it's worth the wait!

Prices are reasonable and there is a large selection of fish. The employees are nice. You can order in portions or by weight. I would like to come back. For parking you can use the parking spaces on the street. The parking fee per hour is 1.04 euros. You buy a parking ticket for two hours. Since we're waiting for the fish to cook, a one-hour park ticket may not be enough. In summary: a fish restaurant where you can dine with peace of mind.
