Gorgeous interior and ambiance throughout the restaurant. Drinks reasonably priced, food was quite expensive however and not the most flavourful . However service was incredible with very attentive staff and the bar was gorgeous. Would certainly go back and recommend. Theres a very cool Photo Booth downstairs too!!

I visited Lolo in Amsterdam last week, and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere is incredible — stylish interior, great music, and a cozy vibe from the very beginning. The highlight of the evening was the service from Viktoriia. She was charming, attentive, and patient throughout the whole night. She really made us feel welcome, and I truly appreciated her warm approach. The food was very tasty as well — you can tell the kitchen works at a high level. My only small suggestion would be to serve slightly larger portions. Overall, a wonderful place that I would gladly visit again. Highly recommended! 🌟

I had higher expectations about the place. The drinks where good but there was low music, was expecting more vibes. Food was nice but nothing super delicious.

Food wasn’t what I expected…ham was weird and I asked for a milanesa and they gave me a piece of meat with 3 pieces of salad or spinach… then the wine was … standard for 37 euros. No flavour… also the service was a little bit awful, like not very friendly and I felt uncomfortable with the waiter. Also I recommend to not ask for the croquette, it hasnt no flavour. And I said, the ham was weird because it was blue, absolutely disgusting. We are not very scrupulous but it was not a good experience and very expensive :( im so sad because i was very excited but not worth it

We were placed in a different location than the photos on the website. It was much less atmospheric and a completely different experience. The menu selection was limited and not something to shout about. Otherwise, it was fine, but not something we'd return to.

My husband and I were looking for somewhere to have a cocktail and their cocktail menu outside caught our eye. Felice, the mixologist behind the bar was very friendly and it was very fascinating to watch him work his magic. We had 4 different cocktails in total and they were all really tasty! We can definitely recommend this place!

Service was naff, sat in the middle of people after walking past 6 empty tables plus. Starters didn’t come out all at the same time, mains came pretty much cold which was massively disappointing. Our side also didn’t arrive with our mains which further made the experience rubbish. No checkback but only once we complained, then something with done about it. Big shout out to Victoria for resolving the situation and being very helpful and friendly near the end, just wish this wasn’t our experience of the place and hope Others have a better experience.

First time in Amsterdam and most amazing service I’ve ever recieved ! Food was absolutely stunning and the ladies on shift were so helpful and smiley throughout the entirety of serving us.

The interior is truly stunning and incredibly picturesque, making for a wonderful atmosphere and instagram picture with staff who were nothing but helpful and attentive throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the food quality didn't match the beautiful setting. My party of five visited for lunch, where the menu is significantly smaller, although it still featured the dishes we were looking forward to. One friend ordered the beef ragu, which arrived stone cold. We were actually very glad that a waiter apologised and gave her a new dish! Three of us ordered the pesto genovese. I found mine was hot in spots but cold in others. All three of us agreed that the pesto dishes were far too salty. While pesto genovese naturally uses rock salt, this was a definite salt overload that made the dish hard to enjoy. We did enjoy the incredible interior like previously mentioned, which made our visit pleasant, but sadly, the food wasn't all that. Hopefully, the kitchen issues can be addressed to match the high quality of the ambiance and service.

The restaurant is really cute! And in an easy location to walk too! Our server was nice, but we were a little rushed by the host. We showed up 14 mins after our reservation time, because we got a little turned around on the way. And although Lolo states that it saves your tables for 15 mins after, and you get the table for a maximum of 2 hours. We were told we needed to rush a little. We put 20 euros for the down payment. But that never came off of the tab. I'm not from Amsterdam, so maybe the 20 euros was just making a reservation and not to go toward the tab. The food was alright. My Ragu tasted a little bit like it was out of a can, but my friends chicken was really good! The drinks were really good! And very cute presentation

Absolutely horrendous experience. Started off weird. The front of the restaurant was literally fully empty however we needed to wait to be seated with chefs pointing it put to the waiters that we were in fact still waiting. When we got seated the atmosphere was definitely sexy and cute at first however it all took a change for the worst soon. We ordered our cocktails and dishes feeling excited and frisky. I ordered truffle pasta with truffle shreds which was most definitely not worth the price. The cocktails were fine but rather watered down. The waiter presenting the ex-pornstar martini, that came with a vanilla bubble, was more than done and just presented it out of the obligation making the experience more awkward than cool. As a dessert we ordered tiramisu which was the worst part. It had definitely been prepared recently without having time to set, hence the ladyfingers were extra soaked and the whole thing tasted like coffee and was falling apart. No mascarpone in sight, only whipped cream. After that we were a bit dissatisfied because the quality did not match price at all in this place. We asked for a bill to take our business elsewhere and were just given the bill, without payment options for good 20 minutes. When asking for the bill we mentioned that we are splitting only water and tiramisu price in half and other drinks and dishes are paid for separately. The male waiter finally came to take our payment and stated that if we want to pay apart we need to calculate it ourselves. The bill was literally under 100 euros, which I belive calculating in that range is teached in basic school. He was rude and upon asking him to calculate it he flat our refused. So we actually calculated our bills ourselves. Definitely an unique experience in an unpleasant way. Do not recommend.

Very nice restaurant, the food is very good, although the portions aren't very large. It's expensive, but reasonable for Amsterdam. We tried to go to another restaurant first, but they sent us here because they were full. Reservations are recommended.

Why didn't anyone mention that it's located on a bad street? The atmosphere isn't comfortable. The food is expensive and the portions are small and below average.

The food was great; I loved the seabass, which had perfectly balanced flavors and was beautifully presented. However, the staff/service appeared somewhat impatient and overwhelmed, possibly due to a high volume of customers or long shifts. It might have been just arrogance on that day, but the overall experience could have benefited from a more attentive and calm approach from the service personnel.

Lolo is fire! Food was super tasty and fresh, and the staff was really chill and nice! Definitely a spot I’d go back to.

Wouldn’t usually rate somewhere one star as i don’t think anything is that bad!! but if you’re a tourist don’t expect a lot from this place. mediocre food and very expensive! service isn’t the best either. was all fine until i complained haha! food was cold, i ordered truffle pasta which could’ve been mistaken for just parmesan pasta, my partner ordered beef ragu and it tasted like spag bol. nice atmosphere! but save ur pennies and go to a home cooked italian restaurant - gusto italian looked good! also quite small portions, living near london it was half the quality of the big mama restaurants. server was lovely until i complained… then asked me why i didn’t tell her sooner haha. as a previous waitress myself, servers have bad bad days but still.

An amazing Italian restrautant, we went to celebrate the birthday of my friend during their special Brunch days which is only the first Sunday of every month. A delicious three course menu as you can see. I can also really see this place as a great spot to start your night with their delicious cocktails, have a snack, or a cool date night with a tasty dinner. Portions are big and def worth the money!! Highly recommend!

Upon arrival, the atmosphere was very pleasant. Despite arriving late, we were still able to get a table, with the drawback that we were only offered a main course and dessert. The food was served quickly but was cold, and the portions were small. One of the staff members was a bit grumpy, but ultimately, we had a good experience thanks to the delicious desserts. We recommend the Lolo's Kiss and Tiramisu.

We spontaneously visited Restaurant Lolo on Friday. We were lucky with the table, as most of the place was fully booked. The food was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. It might be better to make a reservation in advance. The ambiance and location are great, and easy to find.

Lola is a really cool spot in Amsterdam – the hip decor might take a bit of getting used to, but the open kitchen and friendly Italian staff absolutely make up for it. 🍝 Be sure to make a reservation, especially in the evening. The food is excellent – ​​one of the best vegetarian lasagnas I've ever eaten! The wine selection is also top-notch. You can really linger here and soak up the atmosphere. The only minor drawback: the restrooms could be cleaner. They're black and somewhat reminiscent of the red-light district vibe, so they need to improve. All in all: great food, excellent service, and an exciting atmosphere – highly recommended!

Nice little gem that despite being located in the Touristy area of the red light district delivers. Food is very good, capaccio was very nice, the pasta was more on the hard end of the Al dente style but super delicious and in my mind perfect. If you like your pasta more cooked you probably should mention that while ordering. The cocktails are more expensive with 15€ per cocktail, but also made with care and they are very good. The ladyfinger cocktail as a desert was probably one of the best ever. The staff was also super friendly and I don't understand the comments about them not being. Overall great (but a bit more expensive ) experience

The interior was interesting and the food was good. Service was uncomfortable, especially when the waiter insisted on spoon feeding my female guest, even though she was clearly uncomfortable herself. Weird vibe.

My wife and I had an early booking of 6pm. We arrived to friendly staff and a very pretty restaurant! The menu is not too big which is always a good sign. We opted for carbonara croquettes to share for starter which were light and crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked and saucy on the inside! Next up was the Pappardelle with ragu - pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was rich with flavour with melt in your mouth beef and pork! We’d 100% visit again!

The staff was very unfriendly, which really shouldn't be the case when you charge such prices. The atmosphere is great and the best thing about this place. We ordered pasta, but it wasn't cooked all the way through, which is really disappointing when you're charging over €20 for it. The desserts we had, however, were very well-made and delicious. If the staff were replaced, this place would truly be a top-notch destination, and the prices would be justified.

Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. Aside from the selection, the food arrived completely cold and tasteless. The appetizer was completely forgotten, and when we paid, the waitress said she'd kindly deduct it from our bill. It's the least we could do... The drinks were okay, but not worth the price. We left after 30 minutes and got something else to eat.

We ate there today because this restaurant is so hyped on Instagram. I wouldn't recommend it. The staff was unfriendly from the start. Unfortunately, this continued almost the entire evening. Unpleasant comments and annoyed groans were unfortunately not an isolated incident. Our pasta wasn't cooked all the way through and was even white in the middle. But after we pointed it out, a member of staff responded kindly. The second attempt was actually much better. The food itself still tasted good... but it was definitely too expensive for what it was. The cocktails weren't particularly well mixed and didn't taste good. We were really looking forward to the evening and were unfortunately disappointed. It's a shame, really... but I wouldn't go back to the restaurant a second time.

I recently visited Lolo Amsterdam on my own and had such a wonderful experience. From the moment I stepped in, the warm, vibrant atmosphere set the tone for the evening, the eclectic design, cozy lighting and lively bar made it feel both stylish and inviting. The food was excellent: the carpaccio was fresh and full of flavor, the pasta rich and comforting, and the cocktails were crafted with care, perfectly balancing the dishes. The highlight, however, was the dessert, a playful and creative surprise that not only looked like a piece of art but also tasted amazing. Dining alone here still felt like an experience worth sharing, thanks to the welcoming vibe and the attention to detail in both service and presentation. Lolo Amsterdam is more than just dinner, it’s a whole mood. Highly recommended!

We had a delicious meal, but the shared dining menu was far too limited; we ended up having to order more because we were still really hungry! And for an Italian restaurant, it's also a bit unusual that there are no scroppinos on the menu.

The only positive aspect about the experience we had in this Restaurant was the spanish waitress, who was very friendly, open, and helpful. Sadly, everything else was a no-go. The food is outrageously overpriced for what you get. The staff seemed confused the whole time and gave us the impression that they just wanted to get rid of us quickly. To make matters worse, one waiter had just cashed us out and then, seconds later, asked if we wanted a table as if we were brand new customers.

We visited Lolo's twice during our stay in Amsterdam. The decor is refined, the furniture tastefully chosen, and the atmosphere very pleasant. The dishes are delicious and refined (same opinion for the antipasti). The staff is warm, efficient, and helpful. In short, a little piece of Italy in the city! If we return to Amsterdam, we will definitely come back.

Great food and excellent vibe! It’s one of those places you can enjoy but it’s not so kid that you can’t have great conversation. The food/cocktails are also amazing - I had the risotto and the ex pornstar and both were fantastic. The bartender (Tomazo I think) is awesome and the manager Lucas and chef Luca are great. Def would visit if you are in AMS!

WORST SERVICE EVER! We were out with five friends, and from start to finish, we were simply laughed at or treated rudely by that one employee. Truly unprecedented!!! A complete disgrace to the establishment!!! He gave away our reservation and showed no remorse or understanding. He was incredibly condescending. Whenever we asked him for something, he either didn't have it or couldn't do it. We spoke to another (very friendly, by the way!) employee, and she could handle everything! That guy just wasn't in the mood and absolutely didn't belong there! Credit to the employee named Victoria. She was fantastic.

It's good but it's REALLY expensive. The waiters are very friendly and the food is good quality I think but the prices are really unreasonable... Cocktails are 16€ and dishes are at least 20€ (for pasta without meat). Regarding the atmosphere it was strange we felt that we weren't rich to be there and it was a bit embarrassing. Otherwise the interior of the restaurant is pretty and the dishes are very beautiful.
