Delicious and authentic, try the aubergine, spicy beans, sweet tempeh and spicy egg for an incredible vegetarian taste explosion!

Fair prices for good food! The eggplant are amazing and so is the rendang, the chicken however was okay nothing to write home about. Good take away

A shame, because the food itself is delicious. But really EVERY order goes wrong. Firstly, if you order a Ramas menu, you do not have a menu of options. So you have to fill in something in the description yourself. Things always go wrong here, tonight there is once again a different meat than the one I order. Of the 2 vegetables, only added 1. They are never reachable by telephone. This was the last time ever ordered here.

One of the worst shops I've been to. Beef looks like dog food. In my opinion, spicy chicken is chicken fillet filled with water. Not spicy at all and completely dried out when heated up. Nasi is also heated up very hard. Satay sauce is indefinable rubbish. Looks like factory sauce with lumps. 1.50 is charged for an egg. Price/quality ratio complete

Really nice waitress yesterday who spoke English and gave me really nice portions of everything. It was so yummy I managed to finish the whole plate. My favorite warung in Amsterdam. The dishes are always prepared with love and taste 👌🏽 it’s never cold or dry.

got served by an incredibly lovely lady at this authentic little cozy place. the woman was super kind, helpful and welcoming. the food tasted fantastic, the green beans and spicy boiled egg were a favorite. this restaurant is definitely going on my list of recommendations. don't forget to stop by if you're in the area, you'll leave with a contently filled belly and a wonderful experience!!

The nasi rames is so flavorful and good. I highly recommend tempeh goreng pedas, eggplant belado, and rendang. Just in case you need to know, it is halal.

Warung Celebes was my introduction to the Indonesian kitchen and instantly loved it and has become one of my favorite cuisines. I've tried several other Indonesian restaurants since, especially since for me it is quite far away. However none can compare when it comes to the size of the portions, freshness and flavor. The owners too are very sympathetic, friendly and helpful. I couldn't recommend Warung Celebes enough!

Haal hier bijna elke week wel een lekkere Indische maaltijd. Nooit teleurgesteld.

Voorheen altijd heel lekker, maar volgens mij is er een andere kok. Echt veel te zout en smakeloos. Jammer!

Niet zo lekker als Kemang op de Hugo de Groot rotonde, maar alle smaken waren goed! De vlees- en kipgerechten hadden iets malser gemogen. Tempeh was uitzonderlijk lekker op smaak.

Van de week een maaltijd gehaald en het was lekker. Niet helemaal mijn smaak zoals ik Indonesisch gewend ben, maar smaken verschillen.

Super lekker, hele verfijnde Indonesische smaken! Ik ben dol op de gele rijst en pittige aubergine maar, eerlijk, alles is heerlijk. Hele aardige mensen. Aanrader!

Being accustomed to Indonesian Take-Aways, this one never slipped out of my mind and I have been here many times. Whilst, generally speaking, the quality and the variety of food are above average; the meatballs in Bali sauce and the eggplant in saté sauce are their unique and excellent selling points. Lastly, the price/quality ratio is also excellent. Pros + Above average food quality and assortment + Excellent price/quality ratio + Excellent USP's + Friendly shop-assistants (the regular woman and cook) Cons - Not particularly friendly shop-assistants (the younger woman and an older one who doesn't understand any English or Dutch) - Food quality is above average but not excellent Total Verdict 8.5/10

10 aug 2014: Soms voel je de behoefte om een review aan te passen. Dat heb ik vandaag. Alles dat hieronder staat blijft waar. Maar... Ik kom hier minstens 2x per week. Omdat ik low carb probeer te eten, laat ik de rijst altijd weg. De dame die vandaag achter de toonbank stond begreep dat niet. Dat is natuurlijk mogelijk. Haar reactie hierop was dat ik dan meer moest betalen. Ik gaf netjes aan dat ik dat niet begreep. Waarop ik te horen kreeg: "je kan ook ergens anders eten gaan halen". Dat advies heb ik dan ook direct opgevolgd. Want dit heeft namelijk niets meer met service te maken. En dan druk ik me nog voorzichtig uit. De rating gaat voor mij dan ook van 5 sterren naar 2. De 2e ster is voor de dame die mij doordeweeks altijd zo ontzettend goed helpt. Anders was het 1 ster geworden. Heerlijk voor snelle Indonesische afhaalmaaltijden. Vooral de service doordeweeks is super. Vraag gerust of je de rijst of mie kan weg laten als je low carb wil eten.
