When the younger ladies are working the service is poor

Very good food, stopped by on my way to the station, ordered a sandwich to go, the one with spicy meat, it was delicious. Prices are very convenient and the sandwich wasn´t small at all, it was 7 euros. The place is nice but simple, you can eat there, or order take away, great option.

Very authentic with very good prices

This is a small place with no frills... We were rushing to a museum and trying to see 2museums close to each other before they closed at 17.00. Hubby was hungry, it was 13.30 & as we walked past I realised I'd never tried Indonesian food before and I love trying the cuisine of different countries. We opted for rice with vegetable side dishes as I'm a vegetarian and after my first bite I was in awe of the wonderful flavours!! Amazing food and we were served by a lovely young man who was managing the till and other orders at the same time. Took time to explain what was in each dish. Even hubby who had meat dishes and some veg said it was the best indonesian food he'd tasted outside of Indonesia, which is very high praise coming from him. We were so blown away, we got a take away for later and regretted the fact that we couldn't go back here because we were only in Haarlem for the day! Deceptively simple looking food, I tried to recreate one of the dishes with a recipe off Google, it was just not the same!

Here the most delicious soto ayam that is always comforting chicken soup that creates the perfect balance between spicy and warm.The broth which is mixed with turmeric, lemongrass, garlic, and ginger, gives it a golden color and strong flavor.The shredded chicken is tender, rice and the addition of glass noodles, boiled eggs, and fried shallots adds texture

Food is good, but there are a few different young employees, who put too little food in containers and charge different (high) prices every time while I always take the same. Service is also extremely bad

Just ordered food for my colleague I often get something to eat here for my colleague every time I get the same a bami with sweet beef, satay (without sticks), balls and a sambal egg. The prices vary each time I come usually between 12 and 13 euros. Today I order the same again now only without a sambal egg. I had to pay a total of 18.43 euros I say to the lady behind the counter that I never spend more than 13 euros I get an argument that I could not even understand because of the crowd. I pay with disappointment my colleague looks at the food that I ordered and sees that it is not what was ordered, my colleague walks back to the Warung pojak sari and is told there that she did it right and that I am a liar while my colleague herself was there that I called and I ordered it right bad business this

We were recommended this place by a local on our stay in Haarlem. Very good Indonesian food, and reasonably priced. All the dishes we had were great.

this by far has been the best Nasi Padang/ indo food I have had in Europe. feels like I have been transported to the other side of the world! i totally recommend this rendang was soft and tender, not hard at all! rice was fluffy and sambal chilli hit the right spot (tho it is a little sweeter, it was definitely flavourful)

I don't recognize myself at all in a single negative review. This is really the best Indian store I know. I've been coming here for 20 years, delicious Indian food just like grandma made it.

Super geweldige zaak het personeel is heel klantvriendelijk en klantgericht, verder smaakt het eten ook altijd goed zou het aanbevelen.

Na een dagje Haarlem met de trein dachten wij ( mijn vrouw en ik ), laten wij op de terugweg naar het station, gezien de beoordelingen, bij Warung Pojok Sari wat gaan eten. Wij kozen voor de Roti kip. Wij kregen een plastic bordje geserveerd met wat stukjes kip in kerriesaus, wat boontjes ( denk kouseband) en een schep oude bijzonder droge gekookte stukjes aardappel en een gekookt ei dat n.m.m. al dagen in de koeling lag. Met veel te weinig eten voor het geld. Het geheel was een erg droge hap. Als eigenaar van deze toko zou ik mij schamen om zoiets te serveren. Wij wonen in de regio Den Haag en ik zou tegen de eigenaar willen zeggen. Ga eens Roti kip bestellen en eten bij Roti Palace Den Haag of bij Ruby in Dordrecht. Dan eet je pas Roti kip. Dit was één keer en nooit meer. Opwarmen in de magnetron wordt niet afgedekt met folie en daardoor wel warm maar uitgedroogd. De folie houdt n.l. het vocht in het gerecht. Doe er wat mee.

Wat is het eten erg veranderd sinds de overname maar dat is niet zo erg aangezien iedereen een eigen hand heeft. Wat ik wel erg vond is dat de nasi/bruine rijst nog hard was en het eten zuur rook waarschijnlijk door de gehaktballetjes/rundvlballetjes. Het product is niet meer goed en dient verkocht te worden aan andere mensen. Helaas zijn ze telefonisch niet bereikbaar vandaar deze review. Het telefoonnummer van pojok sari staat overal maar wordt niet meer gebruikt.

Food poisoned here. A particular staff member was rude to us as well. Nothing special.

Food was spoiled, probably the meatballs/beef meatballs. The nasi goreng was also much too hard to eat. Because the food smelled and tasted sour, 3 quarters of the dish was not eaten. Since the takeover, the dishes have unfortunately deteriorated. I can also reach Pojok Sari by phone, unfortunately the number has been taken off the air.

Delicious Indonesian food! I came two days in a row when I stayed in Haarlem. In my opinion it’s difficult to find good Indonesian food in the greater Amsterdam area, this place is a gem! I had the vegetarian plate and the vegetarian Roti. Both very delicious! The owner seems to be a younger guy, very welcoming! The place has various pictures and memorabilia from Indonesia. It looks (and surely is) a authentic place. With around 11-12€, the price is also very fair. Can recommend!

Very bad…. Reheated junk . Bad taste, possibly spoiled... never again. Don't understand the good reviews. I always love Indonesian food, but this place doesn't understand it at all! And then also a thumb in the plate when bragging! Then “chef Mic” heats it up, terribly

On 04/12/2024 I picked up a Rames Complete meal on the way home. When we arrived home, we were pleasantly surprised with the first bite: super delicious! Absolutely recommended. Unfortunately I don't live nearby :-(

Really good Indonesian restaurant in Haarlem! As a born and raised Indonesian currently residing in the NL, I can safely confirm that the food in warung pojok sari is pretty authentic! The prices are also very pocket friendly, and the people working there are all very warm and friendly (and some are Indonesians too, which definitely increases the feeling of being 'home' when eating here).

Delicious wide choice of different Indian dishes (Javanese). Vegetarian, fish and meat. You can pick up food or eat there. 5 minutes from Haarlem Central Station. Affordable prices. The food was fantastic, highly recommended.

The food was really tasty, more the authentic taste. However, the service could be a little faster when collecting. Employees behind the counter regularly do not know who owns the food when it has been heated up and wait 3 minutes while the food is being heated up. I think it would be more efficient if you help the next customer. But the food is tasty.

What a lovely little hole in the wall! Walked in, asked for assorted food for my family (chef's choice), was NOT disappointed. Absolutely delicious, highly recommended based on the food alone. After all the rave reviews, I picked up some rames here. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I didn't think it was very special: just tasty but also a bit middle-of-the-road. The service (Saturday June 15) was downright bad: it all took a very long time and the girl who helped me was distant (maybe I should learn to smile a bit more and so on) and - even worse - really knew nothing about the food they served. my bowl, except for what I could already read on the nameplates. Not to be repeated.

Nice and simple business, mainly geared towards takeaway. But fortunately a nice seat where you can still enjoy a tasty meal. The food is excellent and very large portions. It was nice to be able to eat there before my train because it is also close to the station.

Toko Warung Pojok Sari has a wide range of Indonesian food. Think of crispy tempeh, rendang, different types of chicken (curry, soy sauce, satay). Definitely recommended!

Great food authentic indonesian warung

As someone with an East Javanese tongue, this is the best Nasi Rames stall I have ever tried in the Netherlands. The taste is not Dutch, the spices are just right on the tongue.

The sandwiches were very good, but the wait times were quite long.

Visited on the Sunday evening of the Christmas market. This is more of a takeaway where you can eat in, but that isn't to say the food isn't excellent! The choice is vast and it's good value. We paid 29 euro for 2 main meals and a drink each. The lady was very friendly and also helpful - when we walked in and didn't really know what the concept was! 2 minutes from the main station. Well worth a visit.

Tasty Rames. I ordered witte rice (I guess it was Nasi uduk - cooked with coconut rice), bakmi, ayam kari, rendang, and vegetables. Nice warung, finally drink teh botol sosro after awhile. The food tends to be too sweet for me. What distinguishes this warung with others is that they provide free flow condiments and this is really Indonesia typical, such as kerupuk (crackers), palm sugar, sambal, spicy sauce and soy sauce. The benches in front of and in the side of the place are really typical Indonesian warung. We also bought some delicious snacks, such as pisang goreng, martabak and lemper. My kid really likes lemper. The location is nearby Haarlem train station.
