The burgers were spot on and executed well. I had the Dutch Burger which reminded me of a traditional American bacon burger. We also had both the loaded and parmesan fries. Perfect!

The burger was truly delicious. Having a high chair available made things much easier for us. The staff were friendly and attentive. The homemade fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We’d definitely come back again. 🍔✨

I rarely write a review but this place deserves it. The service was super polite, fast and understanding. The food was amazing, I really recommend asking for the homemade fries it really worth it. The place was quiet and not very crowded, perhaps because the hours when I ate were a bit atypical.

Dining at Wereldburgers is an experience that transcends the idea of a casual burger restaurant. On my first visit with friends I ordered the homemade fries with truffle mayonnaise, expecting a pleasant side dish, but what I encountered was extraordinary. Each fry was golden and crisp on the outside, tender within, and the truffle mayonnaise was so irresistible that I momentarily forgot all sense of restraint and simply surrendered to the flavor. These may well be the best fries in Groningen. The atmosphere is authentic and vibrant, the staff are warm and attentive, and the service feels personal rather than transactional. The menu offers some of the best burgers in Groningen with global inspiration, from classic flavors to creative combinations, each prepared with passion and care. We had a fantastic meal here! I was impressed by the staff and how well they cater to all sorts of allergy requests. I had the BIG burger, and it was absolutely delicious!

A very wide selection of burgers. Beef, vegetarian, and lamb. Very friendly service. It's a shame it was so quiet, but apparently, people in Groningen eat more sandwiches for lunch, while a burger can keep you going all afternoon!

We spent the day in Groningen and went to lunch here. We had two burgers, one lamb and one beef. They're the best burgers I've ever eaten. The meat? Incredible, the sauces and everything were so delicious, I have no words to describe how delicious everything was. The fries were also so good. We'll definitely be back, and I hope people stop by to try the burgers because they truly won't disappoint. If you don't like them, stop by here and comment on my review. But anyway, I'm sure there won't be any complaints.

Very good quality burgers, with a great variety and plenty of different sauces. The lamb burger with Mint yoghurt was superb. Good veggie stuff too.

We tried the Vegetarian burgers, Maxima and Blackbeans. We loved them. The burger buns were absolutely soft and fresh. They did not turn chewy towards the end, which happens to a lot of buns. The homemade fries really seemed homemade. We would definitely like to visit again to try other options. Worth a visit while in Groningen.

I'm in Groningen at least twice a year and for dinner I/we always go to Wereldburger...very friendly staff and delicious food...one of the employees even saved a disposable lighter for me that I had left there the day before 😀

Delicious burgers, great fries, and a good selection of drinks. The beef patties are sometimes a bit dry, even when cooked medium. The buns are a matter of taste; I thought they went well with the patty. The toppings and fillings could have been more generous, hence a star deduction. Everything tastes very good, though.

A bit expensive but the food was good. I did receive my burger pink but that's how they do it unless you ask specifically to cook it more.

Great burger restaurant. Not your average burger. Their own creations are perfectly balanced. I asked for mushrooms on my burger. They gave it to me for free. That's not your average burger either 👌

I have eaten in this lovely place for the last 9 years, and have eaten the menu twice over. The burgers it offers are all solid choices, even for vegetarians. The kitchen takes modifications into account and the staff is friendly and accomodating. Of course, it can gey busy during the evenings, but overall Wereldburger has a pleasant atmosphere and is affordable, with price ranges between €13-24 per person depending on the size and amount of the food ordered. Its current location is easily accessible on foot and by bike.

Nice chill restaurant with great burgers. Burgers were a bit small but we’re still filling. Have to order fries separately which isn’t ideal but wasn’t too much more. Would recommend!

Really 🔝 experience. I got a take-away burger (walk-in) and the service was quick and attentive. I asked for a gluten-free option (for an intolerance) and they clearly paid so much attention to my request that everything came marked GF - even the mayo. I had to ask for the Brander mayo because - though avoiding gluten - I still wanted the taste! The burger (Sloppy Jack) was great, the G-F bum was really impressive, the salad ingredients were fresh and crunchy, the fries were more like potato wedges, cooked to perfection. 💯 And it was all handed to me in a bag by the chef himself with a big smile. 😁

I’ve been going to this restaurant since it opened and they keep getting better. my favourite sauce is the Godfather sauce. very, very kind and they tend to accommodate suggestions for burgers

Solid burger place. I recommend the "Dutch" burger, which has a classic composition. Mutton burgers are available, unfortunately I've been here right after they opened and didn't have time to try them out.

Not exremly happy. I received my burger rare. Having an aversion to raw meat, I had to re-cook the patty myself, which made the overall burger loose a lot of flavor. I ordered online. My advice for this restaurant is to have a disclaimer regarding their burgers being rare, and giving people the option to get them well done instead

One of the best burgers I've ever eaten. You can really tell that people didn't want a standard burger, but rather paid attention to taste and quality. Ingredients are “mixed” that at first you wouldn’t think would fit. But it was an experience. The detour via Groningen was well worth it!! Super nice atmosphere. Nice service. Gladly again.

I was here with a friend who was looking for something to eat and found it here. Since I had my food with me, I didn't want to eat anything at first, but when I saw the citizens, I couldn't help but order a burger. I was rewarded. One of the best citizens I've ever eaten. Here, attention is paid to quality and a taste experience. The chicken kimchi citizen is incredible. Coming here again tonight with my friends. A must!

Had dinner with my wife and two daughters between shopping. Delicious burgers (not those flattened ones), good (loaded) fries and cheesecake and brownie for my ladies. Great restaurant, beautiful decor and attentive, friendly service. Price, quality and quantity are right here. Will definitely come here again with the third daughter to try the rest of the menu.

Restaurant specializing in hamburgers. The modern and chic decor. The Grolsch Weizen on tap is very good. They also offer a gluten-free beer. The hamburgers are very good. The french fries are truly home made and with a lot of taste. Prices are honest and a little below average. The service is fast and welcoming, everyone is very kind.

Very beautiful and attractively furnished place, at the A-kerkhof, in the heart of Groningen. From the outside it doesn't seem special and big, but as soon as you enter you experience the perfect balance of style and comfort. The staff was most cordial and hospitable. The downside for me is the lack of a starter on the menu. And I wanted to go for the 'Kingston Chicken' burger, but unfortunately they were out of chicken. My 2nd option was 'The Godfather' burger, but in the Wagyu variant. However, unfortunately they didn't have either Wagyu meat more. Then I went for the regular beef variant. And I must say it tasted excellent. I think the nice range of special beers is a plus!

Great job, always spot on! I've tried almost the entire (vegetarian) menu and it's always good. Nice staff, great food, right portions, not expensive; I get excited about it. By the way, highly recommended: the fries with parmesan cheese. If you really look for an area for improvement, it might be a little more dessert choice, but the quality of the burgers often makes up for this.

Delicious (vegetarian) food. Nice, friendly service. 1 tip: a curtain or something similar. at entrance. At the very back, cold air from outside could be felt when the door was opened. And that was quite often with all the 'home deliverers'.
