The food is very delicious, homemade sambal, really nice and spicy. Wow, it is so beautiful there. The staff is friendly.

Average asian food for an okay-ish price. Kimchi fried rice had 0 gochujang in it and when I asked for more gochujang, they didn’t have. I’m sorry but that was just really tasteless with weird pieces of chicken in it. The iced mango tea was really nice tho

There were problems with food hygiene and quality. After consumption, I developed stomach pain and diarrhea.

Good portions, nice atmosphere, and the food arrived quickly. We ordered chicken and beef chop suey and it was wonderful.

The atmosphere is fine and the service is fast, but unfortunately, the price-quality ratio is poor. The food is acceptable if you are hungry and want to fill your stomach, but I do not recommend it for a tasty and delicious bite. That, combined with a meager portion and the high price, means I don't think I will be eating here again. The Kimchi Fried Rice didn't look like the picture; the small pieces of fried chicken thigh were a thick layer of batter with a small piece of chicken inside. The rice itself was okay, but nothing special.

Black Pepper Beef, for almost €20 the portion was much smaller than I expected, I could have easily eaten two dishes. The food was also very bland, and I ended up adding a lot of sriracha just to give it some flavor. I asked for a glass of tap water and was told it would cost €1.50. Overall, I didn't feel the quality, portion size, or value justified the price.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but our visit to wooly cafe we had pastries which were great, disappointing but acceptable matchas, and a salt bread. The salt bread was strange. The jellycat legs were weirdly grey on the inside. The whole thing felt like it was deep fried in butter several days prior. It was stale and greasy. There was also no salt. We both got really sick the night and day after visiting the cafe. We had nothing else we ate together except this, so it had to be the food here.

My friend and I ate here twice. It's a decent Asian fast food, but some dishes were a bit salty. The service was friendly. We met a pretty young lady. A pretty Asian woman washing dishes was also there. She doesn't appear often.

They gave me coconut milk for my matcha latte when I asked , great service

I feel really conflicted about this review, because the staff and overall vibes were genuinely really nice. However, our visit to Wooli Café was quite disappointing. We came in just after opening time and ordered coconut and matcha iced coffees with a salt bread, a cheesecake and a matcha cake roll. After 15± minutes the waiter told us that the cake roll wasn't available, unfortunate, but can happen. After another 15± minute wait the waiter came back and told us that the salt bread wasn't available either. Finally after 10 more minutes we got our coffees and a comically tiny piece of cheesecake. The matcha coffee tasted watery and extremely bitter. The coconut one on the other hand had a very weird soury flavour and aftertaste. After an extremely long wait the items were just so bad that we gulped it down and left laughing at how everything went. It didn't even look that crowded either. Again, the staff being very nice makes this hard for me to say, but from our experience alone, I wouldn't recommend Wooli Café. Maybe the actual WOK place is better, but I still think it's quite bad that we had to wait so incredibly long for two iced coffees and a piece of cheesecake that was probably sitting in the fridge.

The café is disappointing :( I had been there once before for the restaurant which was okay, but this time several things went wrong. - I ordered coffee but also got matcha with it (waiting time around 20 minutes) - I ordered the coffee with oat milk but got cow milk (paid 50 cents extra for it). I already waited another 20 minutes for this drink so I said never mind. When paying the lady told me it was oat milk (100% sure it wasn’t…) and didn’t get the 50 cents of the bill. It ended up being 7,20 for an iced latte with sesame flavor you couldn’t taste.

It is very tasty. Super fast and well-organized service. Everything went as desired, and the food and drinks were delicious too. Yummy. Also super quiet inside on Saturday evening. Definitely recommended. Not a single downside!

The food was blend. The chicken was salty and gave food poisoning. Would bot recommend. One server was doing his best while others were lacking and standing with their hands crossed. The restaurant has no toilet

The food was very mediocre. The chicken, in particular, was bone dry and tough. Small portions.

The chicken chili dry and the karaage was really bad and gross. I think it was in the fryer for too long because it was dry, tough, and the taste was off. Complained to staff and they told me "it's supposed to be like that" and wouldn't change it. It used to be my favorite dish at this place but apparently it's supposed to be gross! The fried noodles are also bad. Not eating here again. Genuinely ruined my night.

Before visiting Tivoli, I always grab a bite to eat first. There is plenty of choice in the wider area. Due to the glowing reviews, I decided to visit this restaurant. Enough has already been said about the innovative concept. I, too, can only say that I had a delicious meal here. And I can also confirm that the service is welcoming. Everything—the price, the food, the atmosphere—falls right between a restaurant and fast food. I had the omelet. Underneath was a generous portion of noodles. On top was plenty of sauce. So it was a tasty and creamy combination. I was already ready to scan the QR code, but they came to me on their own. In the end, I didn't scan anything, but was simply served. So if you prefer to be served "normally," that is possible too. Paper menus are available. The kitchen is open and looks fresh. I always find that pleasant as well.

The service was good and the food generally tasty. Unfortunately, I suffered from food poisoning after eating the pad thai, which contained shrimp. I contacted them by phone about this, but my report was hardly taken seriously. This gives me little confidence in the way such complaints are handled.

I sat here once in 2021 and ordered a homemade iced tea. It was so delicious and beautifully presented that it has always stayed with me. Today I decided to visit again, and I was 100% satisfied once more. In 2021 I only sat outside, but today I went inside as well. Everything looks beautiful, cozy, and clean. The staff is also incredibly friendly and respectful. I ordered the chicken katsu and veggie gyoza, with a homemade iced tea again, of course, and once again I was extremely satisfied. Because the iced tea had caught my attention so much in 2021, I had honestly forgotten how good the food was. When I received my food and took the first bite, I became completely thrilled; it was truly delicious! What I also liked was that it was a normal portion. Not so little that you are still hungry, but also not so much that you have to stuff yourself or that the taste gets boring. During the meal, someone also came by to ask if everything was to our liking, which I thought was very thoughtful. Additionally, the prices are just normal and not ridiculously high like in many restaurants these days, which makes the experience even better. It is wonderful to be able to sit here alone, in peace and quiet, with delicious food and a drink. I can't wait for the next time I come here, and I will definitely recommend it to others!

A new concept where you, as a guest, are left completely alone. Upon arrival, you receive the menu and instructions. We didn't make a reservation, although it is recommended. Ordering via a QR code, paying at the exit, and staff serving only, explains this concept in a nutshell. Turn your lamp upside down on the table, and they'll come to you within a minute to answer our questions about the menu. Even with an allergy that made her unsure if it was even possible, she disappeared into the kitchen to inquire. If you want undisturbed, Asian-style dining with dishes that can be really spicy and without too much fuss, this is the place to go.

The food here is excellent. It's not a restaurant, but more like fast food. Order via QR code and pay at the exit. Nice and quick and efficient. The food tasted surprisingly good. We had Kimchi fried rice and Suri fried rice. Simple dishes, but the chicken was absolutely perfect. The interior is nice, but it still feels a bit cold. On the plus side, the acoustics are good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. It's a bit out of the way, but definitely worth a visit. The lunch selection is a bit limited, so next time we'll definitely come for dinner.

I ordered duck, which was described on the menu as "very tasty." The thing was inedible. It was full of bones and cartilage.

We had to wait a few minutes for a free table, but that was fine for dinnertime. You order online here using a QR code on your phone. If you need assistance, there's a small lamp on the table that you turn around, and then a waiter comes to your table. The food was incredibly delicious, and the portions were very generous. We underestimated the size of the mixed appetizer platter ;)

You can watch the chefs wok through the window and the service is insanely fast and polite, but I didn't like the side noodles at all, it was very bland and boring. The main course was alright but nothing to write home about. The yuzu lemonade was great however.

The once tasty fried rice suri was delivered today paired with a tasteless fried chicken katsu. Hilarious, considering the name. It used to be a genuinely nice place with good service, but that applies to so many places in Utrecht. A shame.

You enter and wait for at least ten minutes. The woman at the entrance says nothing. Only after saying "hello" four times does she respond with a cold "please wait." Then we're seated at the bar. We're given no menus or any explanation of the concept. When I speak to the bartender, she says she doesn't take orders – only then do I discover that everything has to be done via a QR code. Two tables behind us were empty. We wanted to sit there with another guest, but we were immediately sternly told not to separate the tables and to stay at the bar. I indicated that the woman next to us would be fine if we sat at the table next to hers. This wasn't allowed because the QR code box was on the bar. I suggested we just take it to the table, but that wasn't an option either: "rules are rules." We had to go back to the bar, with an audible sigh. I explained that I found this very antisocial and almost wanted to leave. The woman next to me then said, "You guys just sit at the table, and I'll go to the bar. I'm alone anyway." This also elicited a sigh from the staff, as her order then had to be "changed." In short: what terrible service. Unfriendly, inflexible, and completely unwelcoming.

Horrible situation here. Don't go there. Get rid of QR codes! Or let people choose for themselves. Good afternoon everyone. Does this business still have any affection for older people who aren't used to dealing with QR codes? Or is it all about money and personal convenience these days? Sometimes older people still want some human contact. And not through QR codes. Apparently, convenience takes precedence over everything. Nice and easy, right?

Very pleasantly surprised with the food and drinks. I ordered the beef in hot chili oil and peking duck. Both meat were extremely tender and the seasoning in both dishes were perfect. The butterfly pea homemade iced tea was so delicious. Will definitely come back again. The acoustics of the place was really good because although there was a lot of people, I had no problem listening and speaking with other people at my table. The decor is also really nice. Definitely make a reservation though because it gets packed after work.

The food arrived very quickly, and the quality was terrible, as if it had just been microwaved. I had chicken terayaki; the chicken thigh wasn't marinated, seemed only boiled, and didn't taste fresh! I'll never go there again. What a disappointment!

This is my second visit to this restaurant I didn't like the food the first time but I wanted to give it a second chance because I like Asian food unfortunately we were not happy with how the food taste although it looked good the fried chicken was hard and the steamed dumplings are not steamed I noticed that the quality of the basmati rice they use is not that good. Pina colada was good though we paid around €71 for 3 meals and 2 appetizers and 1 drink. The ambiance, the decor, the lighting are very good Service was fast but the person at the reception is not the nicest. I'm not coming again because the food is not to my taste.

The food here is delicious. Deliciously healthy and freshly prepared. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. I've eaten here several times now, and it never disappoints. The drinks are also excellent, especially the butterfly iced tea. Highly recommended!

Food is okayish, same for the atmosphere. The reason you shouldnt eat here is that they only give you water if you pay for it. We asked for a glass of tap water and they said it would cost €1 per glass. By law this is not even allowed. Very weird.

We often have lunch here on weekends. The food is always delicious! And the price is good, especially when you combine it with the lunch deal and a delicious iced tea.

A very atmospheric eatery in the middle of the center of Utrecht. A nice choice of Asian dishes. The home-made Ice Tea with various flavors such as passion fruit and Mango tastes delicious. The Black Pepper Beef and the Tornado are also recommended. A great choice to eat here when you are in Utrecht.

Food was greasy, salty, and pretty bitter. Worst of all they charged 1.1 euros per glass of tap water. What?

Will never visit again. After issues with the ordering from a QR code on the table, at the end orders were delivered double. The ordering process via mobile phone is not working properly. Endless discussion, while we should pay the double orders…. What a mess, finally the food was cold… never return again to this spot for our weekly team lunches

On July 31st, I got food poisoning at your place. I also sent a complaint by email, but haven't received a response yet. I ordered black pepper beef with white rice. The dish literally smelled like DONKEY and tasted incredibly sour! I order this dish often, and it never tastes like this! I mentioned it to the waitress during dinner, and there was no solution or apology. Only "everything is freshly made." That doesn't mean there can't be bacteria in the food that could make someone sick. I mentioned it again when I was paying, and even then, the response was useless. I felt a terrible stomach ache while eating and had to suppress the urge to vomit. Later that evening, I got really sick. The service was truly awful, especially when someone mentions twice that the food isn't okay! I didn't want "free" food; I just didn't want to get sick. In short: I don't recommend eating here unless you want to get sick and lose some weight ;)

Best Noodle me and my wife had ever in the Netherlands. This is our second time in this place and food is really delicious and ingredients are well Balanced with all the flavours and sauces. You should try Tornado Shrimp Noodle! Simply perfect with too many shrimp inside one portion. Thank you all the team who made this. See you soon again

Cute restaurant with open kitchen concept. Decent portion sizes but slightly expensive for the quality of the food. Too much rice and not enough chicken. The sauce also didn’t really fit with the dish.

The ambience of the restaurant was quite nice and welcoming — a good place to sit and relax. However, the service was very slow, and the wait for food was longer than expected. Unfortunately, the dish I ordered was overly salty and not enjoyable at all. I couldn’t even finish it. While the setting was pleasant, the food quality and long preparation time really let the experience down.

Delicious food, just enough in a portion and an affordable price. I have been here more often in the past years. Only downside: the music was too loud in the evenings. During lunch it is less loud and you can still hear your partner.

Unfortunately the Pad Thai does no longer taste like Pad Thai. Perhaps it's because brocoli was added, regular white onion instead of shallots, tauge used sparingly and to little fish sauce used. Basically this is not how they used to make this dish which was close to the original you can find in Thailand. Not sure why the recepy was changed, but it's definitely nor for the better.

You can order via QR code, but if desired they will also come to take the order at the table. A nice detail are the swings upstairs, on the way to the toilets.

Nice Asian restaurant with various vegetarian and vegan dishes. Orders in the restaurant can be placed or placed by telephone. Service is very fast, after ordering the food is on the table quickly. Atmosphere is cozy. It is on the pricey side and the way of ordering and the (perhaps too) fast service makes it feel impersonal. Ideal restaurant if these are your wishes.

Tasty foods and strategic place

I had an expectation that it would be similar to Korean food due to the large Korean picture hanging inside the restaurant, but in reality, it was far from Korean food, so I was disappointed. Also, as a Korean, I was somewhat unfamiliar with the unique charm of Chinese food, but I enjoyed it ^^.

Food and staff are always perfect here! The atmosphere is also set by modern songs :) the matcha caramel latte is just not green, and tasted mainly like milk

Terrible service, no one came to my table for almost an hour. I didn’t feel welcome at all. The food when it arrived eventually was alright but not worth the price for the low quality. Would not recommend at all, there are much better restaurants around (even next door) takumi is great for example!

The katsu curry rice was mediocre, and it was cold. Taste wise was okay, but don't expect it to be very spicy like normal curry. It is all self-service even during lunch. So you need to pick up your own cutlery, etc. The place itself is very nice decorated. The Matcha Caramel Latte was very nice but very overpriced to charge €5 for that amount.

The Chicken Katsu Curry I ordered was disappointing, to say the least. The chicken was poorly cooked, overly oily, and lacked the rich curry flavor I was expecting—there was almost no curry sauce at all. For the price, the value just wasn’t there; it felt overpriced for the quality and portion size. Since I ordered delivery, I can’t comment on the service or atmosphere of the restaurant itself, so I’ll give a flat 3 stars in those categories. Overall, this experience didn’t meet my expectations, and I would not order again.
