Delicious food for late at night

Terrible experience. I placed an order from Wok & Day and ended up waiting nearly two hours, only for the restaurant to cancel it at the end. No apology, no explanation—when I reached out, they were argumentative instead of helpful. Completely unacceptable. I won’t be ordering from them again.

I ordered multiple times from this place, usually very punctual. This time it was unacceptable. Twister fries, spring rolls, fries, and cheese sticks. All of which take a couple of minutes to fry. My order never arrived and the place itself has their phone shut off. Not nice! On top of that, when I tried to cancel I had to be charged €17..For what? Unacceptable. The food is super good but why make it a late night delivery when in fact its a total fail?? I ordered at 00:56 and it is now 01:56 still no food delivered.

Burnt food, delivered cold, and no refund! I ordered food from this restaurant today, but it was absolutely inedible. The food was clearly burnt; the chicken and broccoli were still there, tasted burnt, and smelled awful. The vegetables were so burnt that the original ingredients were unrecognizable. All that remained were dry, burnt bits of vegetables and chicken. Furthermore, several ingredients that, according to the receipt, should have been in the dish, such as bell pepper and bean sprouts, were missing. These were also nowhere to be seen, likely burned during preparation. Furthermore, I ordered a large portion but received a small container, which is absolutely not worth what I paid for. I also ordered a cream soda as a drink. I was told it wasn't available, even though it was available online. The delivery took over sixty minutes, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold. All in all, this is very disappointing. The food is burnt, incomplete, cold, and simply inedible. We contacted the restaurant and were promised a refund but have yet to receive anything. It felt like it had been half-cooked in a single pan, without any care. The sauce was too salty and overpowered the entire meal, making it hard to taste the other ingredients. The portion size was also disappointing—for the price, you expect at least a decent meal, but this felt like a waste of money. I had high expectations, but this was truly disappointing. Never go here if you want a good wok. Order a pizza late at night, because this is truly a waste of money.

Seriously? This is what they call a wok? Everything was cold, tasteless, and sloppily thrown together. It looked like they just threw it all in the pan without any effort. For this price, you expect at least something edible, but this was absolute garbage. Never again.

Ordered from UberEats and food never arrived, they didn’t pick up their phone and the status immediately changed to ‘Headed your way’ within 2 minutes of placing my order. This was the first sign the store was fraudulently accepting orders with no intention of making the order or delivering the order.

*Do not order here* We ordered and after waiting 2h nobody showed up. We called to ask what happened and they literally lied saying that the delivery guy was there and nobody opened. We asked for a solution and they hanged up and cancelled the order directly without even trying to making it right.

I ordered one of the recommended special combinations and was worried I was coming down with covid when my first bite (and subsequent container of food) was so bland with the exception of tasting the charcoal grill on the chicken. For close to €20 for a portion of takeaway that would be almost half the cost elsewhere, in addition to the lack of seasoning and flavor, I was really disappointed in the frozen veggie use as well. While it's open later than most other spots in that portion of town, I recommend finding your late night fix elsewhere.

We have only good things to say about the food at Wok Day & Night. It tasted good and the portions were just right. Basically, you put together your own meal. First choice: Medium or large portion. Second choice: Choice of carbohydrate source (various noodles, rice, etc.). Third choice: Choice of protein source (chicken, beef, tofu, etc.). Fourth choice: Choice of vegetables (broccoli, peppers, mushrooms, etc.). Fifth choice: Choice of sauce: teriyaki, oyster sauce, Hong Kong sauce, etc. And then everything was conjured up, crisp and fresh. We were absolutely thrilled.

Do not order from here. Took over 3 hours to deliver my food, staff were so unhelpful on the phone to the point I assumed it was not going to arrive. Refused the order when it came as it had been 3 hours and 10 minutes since I ordered. They refused to refund me through just eat (over 60€ worth of food I did not receive!!!). Really wish I had read the reviews before ordering.

Had to look past the reviews and took the gamble, glad I did. Hot and fresh noodles just what I needed at 3am. Perfect for the late night meal near the Rembrandt hotel.

Serious safety issue, I have a serious peanut allergy and indicated that via Uber-Eats for my meal, we did not order anything that normally contains peanuts and we started eating, I quickly had an allergic reaction, apparently there were peanuts in my food. After calling the store, they are too busy to take the problem seriously and my assumption is that they saw the allergy note as a note to add peanuts, or something like that.

I waited over 3 hours and never received my food when ordering online. Would not order here again.

Price quality is completely out of balance. Way too expensive for mediocre food.

I ordered at 1:53 PM by 3:00 PM, nothing was even started. When I called, the staff were rude and aggressive, telling me to wait and threatening to cancel my order and keep my money if I called again. This isn’t just bad service it’s disrespectful and abusive. Extremely rude and unprofessional. They ignored all further calls. Avoid this place like the plague. Total scam.

Damn, the food tastes completely disgusting!!!! Half cooked noodles! Not stir-fried properly! Didn't even get the udon noodles but eggs noodles! Paprika tastes like mold and speaking of the shrimp what do you mean double portion there were literally 4 shrimp in it!!!! Never eating here again! My money was wasted here.

They called me twice but did not reach me! We were at home and my phone was on. Am I accused of calling them liars? They can't deliver food again, they say. I had no choice but to cancel the order. I ordered food at 1:45 PM, after a while they called to say they were late and the food would be delivered later. I said okay. At 3:24 pm a man called to say they didn't have the pasta I ordered. When I wanted to cancel the order they told me to call home delivery. I don't recommend it if you are really hungry and waiting for food.

Paid €20 for a wok with EXTRA meat but got a bowl of rice with LESS meat. I actually ate 4 mini pieces of meat, I honestly had to look for the meat😂

Ordered food and was told the expected delivery was 00:30-00:50, food wasn't delivered until 1am so we called and they said another 5 minutes but when we came down a hotel staff member said they came ages ago but didn't inform us not by call or by Uber eats. They gave very small misleading portions and we paid for two drinks and didn't even get them! Called the store for help and they wouldn't answer quickly. Very bad service would not recommend.

Recently ordered something from Day and Night Wok and it was quite disappointing. I used to regularly order delicious egg noodles, but with my recent order the egg noodle wok with teriyaki sauce was really not tasty. Way too watery and just lacked the flavor I was used to. Meanwhile, I also found a hair between my noodles. In addition, delivery also took longer than normal. Even though I had indicated not to ring the doorbell, it still happened. Irritating. Too bad to see that the quality has decreased so much since my last order for the summer. Hopefully they pick it up and make their dishes back to how they were before.

Super bijzondere wok. Ik eet vaak to go, ze zijn super snel met het bereiden, hebben lekkere snacks en altijd dezelfde smaak. Kortom top kwaliteit. Enige tip die ik kan geven als bestellende, is duidelijk omschrijven hoe zoet of pittig je het eten wil tijdens het bestellen.

Wij hebben gisteren 4 maaltijden besteld en allen waren heerlijk. De Hong-Kong saus is echt een aanrader. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en de prijs kwaliteitverhouding is top. Wij bestellen snel opnieuw!

This place is open almost always. I work at nights and I pass by around 1-2am to eat something after work. It would be nice if you guys put some bar tables by the windows so people can sit inside and eat their food while looking outside. I wish you the best of success.
