Friendly, efficient service. The terrace is great, with a bit of a breeze and shady spots if you're lucky. We didn't enjoy the food. The country bread with tuna salad is like a tuna-flavored mayonnaise sandwich; you have to search for a piece of tuna. The truffle shuffleboard sandwich also had too much (albeit flavored) mayonnaise. We don't like a lot of mayonnaise, and there was no escape because it was smeared everywhere, both on the bread and on the lettuce. The club carpaccio sandwich from last time wasn't tasty either; it was very large chunks of bread with thick crusts, and the toppings weren't evenly distributed. We might come back for drinks, but we won't be eating here again.

We had GreenEgg bavette, and I opted for sweet potato fries as a bonus. Delicious 🥰 To finish, we had a "Bram..." cocktail. Amaretto and Peachtree with lots of juice, love it. They kept asking if we wanted something to drink, even though our glasses were still half full. A bit much 😉 We had a late lunch, so we didn't have an appetizer or dessert.

A very warm and cozy restaurant with a homey atmosphere! The food was also truly delicious, and the staff were very accommodating to an allergy. We had the three-course menu, and it was more than enough, beautifully presented plates. The BBQ bavette is highly recommended.

Food was very good but staff very slow. It took 15 minutes before we even got a menu, and we had our food about 50 mins after arrival. And it wasn’t like it was so busy either.

Nice restaurant! The food was tasty. Only the place where we sat was not so nice. You sit very close to other people and there were children sitting next to us who often touched our table or bumped into my bag. Apart from that, we did enjoy the food.

At a high tea that was booked well in advance, there was no adapted high tea for dietary requirements. Instead, they could choose something from the lunch menu! How difficult is it to offer lactose-free and gluten-free. No compliments for Wonders.

April 4 we had dinner at Wonder's then went to Sara Kroos. service did their best. the chefs also did their best. the food was good. I only asked for 1 plate of large sweet potato fries. we got 3 but not at the same time as the fish stew and the tuna. There were a lot of fries left. It is a pity that people do not really listen to what is said or asked at the table. it would make a big difference. Waiting for hours for food doesn't do much good, especially if you still have a performance ahead of you. Planning and structure could be better. I think then the atmosphere will be much better

Last Saturday I went to Wonders in Heerhugowaard with three friends. We ordered the 'Provencal fish stew', but unfortunately the dish had no taste and we did not like it. In the end we didn't eat it. Even though the four of us paid a total of €210, two of us went home hungry. In addition, we heard a woman at the table next to us who was very angry because her order was not to her liking, but she still had to pay.

Went here for dinner 6 months ago and had cold food sent back. Tried again yesterday. Went for dinner with 4 adults and 4 children. 1 dish was completely forgotten. The food that did arrive was lukewarm. Steak was rare instead of medium. The well done steak was bone dry. You are not seen by the staff. Heating up a cup of milk was too much work, that was impossible. But had to leave 320 euros behind for a very disappointing evening. In defense we were told; yes, I and my colleagues have not heard any complaints... so I just have to ask every time we come there if the food can please be heated to a normal temperature?

Went out for dinner with our 4 grandchildren during the Christmas holidays. Very nice meal and the service was also good. But the dishes, especially the chicken satay, were disappointing. The salad had a lot of lettuce and few other dishes and with the chicken satay, a dish for around 25 euros, 1 skewer with 5-6 pieces of chicken, lots of satay sauce and a bite of cabbage. In addition, a small basket of fries. All in all, we thought the dishes were tasty, but too limited in size, especially considering the price.

Had a nice lunch today with a visit from Germany (wonderful Christmas present). Tasty lunch dishes, also vegetarian and for children. Good portions and very nicely presented. Good friendly atmosphere, we are already looking forward to dinner there tomorrow evening with a few more people ☺️

Had dinner on Boxing Day with my partner. Ordered a steak but it was very disappointing. Meat well cooked but tasteless. There was a sauce included, but this was a tasteless and watery substance. Vegetables 1 small piece of broccoli and something of potato gradation which was sweet and a kind of patty filled with a sweet cream, no combination. It was a disappointment for us as far as the food is concerned. Service very good and hospitable and nicely decorated. No more dinner at Wonders for us.

The quality of food is certainly not in proportion to the prices. For 15.50 euros a 12 hour, lukewarm croquette, lukewarm soup which personally was not tasty and then a dry old wrap... all in all sad and all 4 thought it was not worth the amount. Certainly no more miracles for us

Just warmed up at Wonders. Received a nice table quickly, was able to place the order quickly and soon received a delicious cup of tea with a cookie. Super friendly service! Atmospheric corners created.

We sat down yesterday, the food was okay, but the tacos were cold, the fries were lukewarm, the food was tasty but a shame. Then the service is unfair. We wanted to order a glass of wine but we didn't have any ID with us, my friend who is 26 just didn't get anything either. When in doubt, I understand that you have to ask for an ID, but where it is unjustified is the following, the table next to us had 2 young boys who received a bottle of wine, the girl knew the boys and knew that 1 of them was 17 years old, but they did receive a bottle of wine. bottle of wine, I think that's special. Ordered Caesar salad which was not much more than a plate of lettuce with mayonnaise. Also a lot of staff but you are not really seen. Finally, you sit on wooden chairs that really need to be replaced. All in all a really bad experience. By the way, nothing was done with the feedback, other than 'we will pass it on to the kitchen'. This is anything but customer-friendly.

The terrace is always well filled, usually at least 2 people at a table, I am alone. I greet 2 people at the entrance and continue inside. I stand in an open space where I see guests eating around me. The ambiance looked nice. Suddenly an agitated lady stands in front of me. Because I had read that there is also 80's music and it is being transformed into a dance venue. That's why I asked if there was also a bar area. The question was answered by saying that this is a restaurant and I should go outside around the corner, because there is a bar there. As I pass the guests on the terrace, the thought crosses my mind that they are all either waiting for their dinner or have just finished their dinner. What I do know now is that the bowling alley around the corner serves Grolsch, something I don't often encounter in this region. Too bad the Wonders experience didn't yield much.

Tried to eat here today. It was not super busy, but after 45 minutes still no food, while guests who came after us had received their food. When we went to order the food, something must have gone wrong and it was ready in no time. With a lot of excuses that we couldn't do anything with. It would have been nice not to charge for drinks either. I won't go back here again.

We dined with 9 people. A wonderful roller coaster of fantastic food on very hard old wooden chairs and irritatingly long waiting times BEFORE and BETWEEN the three courses. No apologies were made.

It remains my favorite lunch spot because of the ambiance and the always committed and friendly staff. Watching monkeys outside on the terrace with a delicious cocktail and some snacks is always nice. Tip for the owner: is there some variation possible with the snacks? Such as: baby peppers from the oven filled with feta, honey and walnut, for example, or something with fish or stuffed mushrooms? The gourmet like me likes to pay a little more for it. By the way, the fried cauliflower florets with sesame dressing are a really delicious hit. Great tent, but the large and cozy upholstered bench may need to be shampooed/refreshed occasionally. The five of us had dinner at Wonders last week. Terrace is lovely! The food a lot less. The loaded fries are anything but loaded. To ask for a €4.50 surcharge for this is, to put it mildly, very strange. The chocolate mousse is not a mousse. A very thick, intense substance with nothing airy about it. The cheesecake has almost no cake and the vegan burger is tasty but very small and came with no salad or vegetables. The service was either every 5 minutes or very slow with misunderstandings about the order and the food did not all arrive at the same time. Too bad because a few years ago it was a lot better.

I ordered a carpaccio sandwich here. The taste was good, it was very tasty. However, at the point where the sandwich overlaps, they should have topped it with more carpaccio. Service continues well! Very friendly staff!

My daughter was craving sweet potato fries. So it was a short visit for an hour of quality time. Ultimately I ate and drank 2 portions of sweet potato fries and cheese slices. Service, handling etc everything was perfect. The two of us were able to chill here for a while. Thanks again.

Had a nice meal here on Saturday March 2 through a deal. What made the evening fantastic was the great service by Liza. A woman who was born for her profession. We would like to eat here more often just because of her.

Delicious food here. Had carpacho on bread. The food was nothing to complain about, although it took an hour before we got our food. Management spends a lot of time talking to each other and pays little attention to the guests. Temperature inside was almost the same as outside.

Something went wrong with passing the order to the kitchen, but they came up with it themselves and a free drink as an apology, so it was neatly resolved!
